We bought our car here..the dealership is fine, but we have had a couple bad experiences with the service center (the woman who does the booking is really unpleasant for a start). The most recent of which we set up appointment to fix a really, dropped off the car, and an hour later got a call that they needed an empty gas tank so they couldn't perform the recall. That's all fine if they had told me about the tank beforehand (which they didn't) and I went to North Hampton Ford with the same amount of gas in the tank and performed the recall no problem!!! Very rude customer service, and unreliable. I will never go back.
Kim at service was -100 in customer service That's negative 100% Left on hold 15 minutes and she was rude!!!!!! Never will do business with stark y'all again!!!!!!!
I had reservations about buying an automobile over the internet. We really liked our old Lincoln MKX but wanted a more current year. I had looked locally & was unable to find the color (interior & exterior) that I wanted with low mileage in a used vehicle. I saw the 2016 Lincoln MKX listed on Car Gurus at Key Ford in York. This was too far for my husband to travel because of back issues. I decided to call them anyway to see if they had a reciprocal agreement with a local dealer. To my surprise, they said they could deliver it! We agreed on a price, traded our old MKX, & they delivered the vehicle to us. I downloaded the owner’s manual for the MKX in advance from the Lincoln website onto my iPad which was a real help since there is a lot of new technology. This all went very smoothly from the financial transaction, the delivery by a very congenial person, & now to enjoying the new vehicle which we are vey happy with. With many thanks to the team at Key Ford for all their help.
We love our Ford ranger, so glad they are making them again. Had 2 of them long ago and just couldn't wait to get the new one. Drives so nice and comfortable and has all the new safety features that cars have. Love it!
This was probably one the easiest buying experiences I’ve had. First and foremost they were priced more accurately than other dealers based on the condition and mileage of the used car I was looking for right out of the gate, which made it easier to negotiate. Knowing is half the battle and Justin Laug was super easy to deal with and accommodating. I am very happy with my purchase and the service provided by my salesperson and the dealership. Financing was a breeze and they even delivered the car for me (as it is a second vehicle for me) and I was unable to get someone to drop me off for pick up. Keep up the good work folks!
Great Experience Dave was very accommodating and made the transaction quick and painless. I found the Liberty on the website, went in at 5 one night and told Dave I'd be back in the AM. The car was waiting for me. He came in early and stayed late to accommodate my schedule. Highly recommend him.

The item that caused me to stop taking taking my vehicle there for service was the failure to deal with a recall on my spark plugs. For over a year, my vehicle was bucking and shaking, Starkey could not find, or could not replicate the problem. Oddly, I purchased my truck from Starkey. I brought my truck to Portsmouth Ford, and right at the interview process during my first visit, they brought up the recall issue, and we set a future date to address the recall. My truck runs fine now. I would go to Starkey only to work with Robbie in buying another vehicle. For the record, this event happened about a year ago,, however, I am just getting this review thing so I thought I would put it up. They may have changed service managers since, however, it seems odd that the tech could not replicate the issue. It also seems odd that the service manager, Steve I think his name was, had never heard about the problem.
I could not have asked for more. Justin and Jordan treated me like gold. The vehicle I got was fantastic. My trade in was very fairly assessed. I walked out and drove away feeling like courtesy and customer service at Key are on par with the level of SUPERB... No lower, No less. Many thanks from a happy buyer who tells all the guys at work the story of the day I went for a test drive and came home with a new addition to the family.
Fixed a flat tire in 15 min on very short notice. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.
I took my brand new F-150 for the first oil change and could you believe that they left the oil cap off and I lost over two quart of oil by the time I got home. The last oil change they left my left front tire lug-nuts lose and the tire almost came off. This place really sucks.
Went in for usual maintenance and loud exhaust. Maintenance done in a timely manner and estimates provided for future work. Also given a referral to another shop to cut and weld a piece on the exhaust instead of replacing the whole thing. Yay! Need tires soon and their prices are in line with other tire places near. Going with Key for the price, convenience and being closer to home.

If could check a box lower the poor/fair I would! My father had his oil changed on his mustang, when he got home the car had leaked a 1/2 quart of oil from the drain plug. He immediately returned to have the mechanic fix the problem, but was told they could not help him or fix the oil leak!! Being an elderly man he left the shop. My son who is a TOYOTA mechanic had to replace the oil pan because the oil plug was stripped. What a rip off this dealer is!! Stay away. Taking advantage of elderly people is so wrong!!!

Good experience buying a used vehicle. My salesperson, Dan, was great to work with and helped me out with a fairly routine - but costly - repair, even after my 30 day warranty expired. In their commitment to provide great customer service, they helped me out even though their legal obligation to do so was expired.

Dave was very accommodating and willing to negotiate price of new Mustang. I was very happy with the result. Being a woman I felt he valued my input and my business and did not look to my husband to negotiate. The car was for me and he understood that and was interested in my opinion and feedback. When I came back to pick up the car it was clean and polished and looked terrific!

We blew a tire on I-95 heading south and Starkey Ford happened to be less than a mile from the exit off the interstate. My wife, baby, dog, and I limped slowly down the road and the kind folks in the Service Department at Starkey Ford patched our tire, found a nearby shop with the correct replacement, sent us on our way - and wouldn't take a dime from us. All the while, the great office staff and lovable dealership dog kept my son in good spirits. Thank you, Starkey Ford!!!

They all seem very satisfied with the transition - therefore - I receive the same efficient, capable expertise, all with the same friendly manner that I had learned to appreciate for years! This is by far the BEST Ford dealership that I have dealt with. The staff is always friendly, honest and very helpful. Being a Ford owner for the last ten years I have dealt with multiple dealerships where I leave feeling completely ripped off. Recently, I had been told by another Ford dealership that a large amount of work needed to be done to my car. But after bringing it to Starkey, I was told that was not the case and saved a lot of money. Starkey Ford always puts the customer first, has excellent customer service and never pressures you into unneeded work. I would high recommend Starkey Ford and will definitely buy my next car there!
Outstanding customer service. I cannot say enough about the sales and service I received when buying a used car. Rob Berry and the team of York Ford made the purchase possible and pleasant. I don't typically write reviews and I have never before spoken the words "the car purchase process was pleasant!" Rob went beyond expectations and consideration for service. He knew I was arranging the car purchase and registration for my elderly mom and he absolutely was respectful and considerate of that situation. Rob made is seamless. Just exemplary all the way through the process, from the test drive to putting the MASS license plates on the car after the registration - can't recommend Rob and the team of York Ford highly enough!

I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium Demo vehicle from Starkey Ford and had an exceptional experience. The Sales person was Justin Laug. We happened to drive by the dealership and I saw the car I was looking for. I had test drove several other Fusions from dealerships in NH and Mass. I live in NH. My experience with Justin and the dealership was awesome. No high pressure tactics. It had taken me about 2 1/2 weeks to make up my mind. Justin was very patient and that was very much appreciated not to mention the help and info he gave me to help make up my mind. I had a minor issue with the vehicle however the service department corrected that right away with no hassles. I just wish they were closer to home because they were so pleasant to deal with. I gave an overall rating of 5 because the salesman made my shopping experience a dream come true! Dave Friedman's customer service and friendliness was a rarity to experience. In a world, which has become lacking in both these areas he excelled. More companies need to emulate his focus on excellent customer service as well as his friendliness. I never felt rushed or that I was inconveniencing Dave with my numerous questions, he patiently answered all of my questions. Dave was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling; cars, warranties, service etc. His quality of work exceeded my expectations in showing me the available cars which fit my needs as well as explaining all aspects of financing, available vehicles and pricing to name a few. His work ethic is excellent and he represents Ford/the dealership well. I feel Dave offered competitive/fair pricing while meeting my needs. Saw the perfect 2013 F150 Lariat advertised on the internet at Starkey. As a Massachusetts resident I had concerns with regard to logistics of purchasing a truck from out of state. Dave Friedman worked with me to coordinate my visit to inspect and test drive the truck. Accommodating my schedule was challenging. Dave was extremely helpful in making it all work out. I only made two visits. One to purchase and one to pick up the truck. In between these visits I had a business trip. I coordinated with Dave to have a tonneau bed cover installed on the truck while I was away. Dave had the cover installed. When I picked up the truck it was all set. It has been a little over a week since I bought the truck. Love the truck and had a excellent experience at Starkey and especially with Dave.

Tried out two fairly new cars, one of which was extremely dirty. Crumbs and dog hair everywhere, the controls were greasy. Didn't seem to be taken seriously, ended up buying brand new elsewhere because of the great service that I was provided.

Dave Friedman was incredibly nice and helpful in walking me through my first car purchase. He went out of his way to work with my finance restrictions and budget in a genuine manner. Although there was a minor issue with the car hours after purchase, Dave made it his personal priority to look over the car and assure it to be in top notch quality. Key Ford in York ME provides excellent service and customer service. It is a small/midsize facility. The waitin and show areas are corresponding small/mid size but large enough to accommodate customers. In the past, when Starkey Ford, we bought 3 cars from them and were very impressed by our sales rep and delivery of cars.

Oil Change I had a great experience. Always courteous. I have bought cars at Starkey Ford since 1976. But my roof does leak and was never informed about it until my car started to smell and I brought it to the dealership. They told me then about parking the car on a flat surface and not on a hill but if I have to park on a hill I have to park it nose down so it won't leak into the automobile. If I had known about this defect I would not have purchased a car with a sun roof. I know it's not all cars but I was never informed of the defect when I purchased it.

Straight up Quality Dealership Well I needed to purchase another car and I needed it in my price range. I did plenty of online shopping in the So. ME area and found only what I could afford at Starkey. I emailed in for info and was contacted by Dan Vanasse that day. I explained my situation ( that I was taking my time and looking around) and he gave me NO pressure at all. When I was ready I called him and we met and he showed me my new Ford Escape, that had only been there for 3 days. He made the payments work for me and treated me with nothing but respect. I have been to Starkey for service on my other cars, and Frank and Steve in the service department were also a major part of my decision to purchase at Starkey. Home Run Again My wife and I have been purchasing vehicles from Rob Berry at Starkey Ford for about 25 years. I was a commuter for a time and this latest purchase was our 11th vehicle from Rob and Starkey Ford. Rob has been exceptionally helpful in listening to our needs and doing research on vehicles that we may like to purchase. This is extremely helpful and greatly appreciated.
