Just bought a 2014 Rogue - what a car! Jamie was exceptionally helpful and patient with my questions and multiple test drives, and spent all the time I needed to become familiar with the features and capabilities of the car at pick-up. (I also love his sense of humor!) Ricky made heroic efforts to find exactly the trim package and colors I wanted most - thanks again, Ricky! Tom also was very patient with explanations of financing options, warranty options, and other products, and made it worth my while to purchase an extended warranty. I appreciated his honesty, real-life examples, and up-front approach. All in all, an excellent experience that I would repeat!

I bought a new 2013 Maxima SV from Berlin City last May and yesterday brought my car in for the first 3,750 mile checkup. I had received several timely reminder notices for my 9:00 AM appointment but decided to bring it in early at 8:00 AM since I had a busy day ahead. Upon arrival, the Service Desk guy warned me that my booking time was at 9 but said they would do everything they could to "slip me in early." I was therefore very pleasantly surprised at 8:45 AM when they came into the comfortable waiting area where I had settled in, fully expecting a 2 hour wait, and told me my car was all serviced, cleaned up and waiting outside for me! Good job, guys!

My wife finally put enough miles on her new Versa to have it's first service done. I was able to schedule the appt for the next day which was very convenient. I was also offered a ride while the service was being done which was appreciated but not necessary as it only took 45 minutes or so, great service! We had paid for some sort of paint protection when we bought the car so I asked them to look at a door ding. They forgot to do that so I reminded them. They looked at it and said that someone would call me to set something up with their "paint guy" but I have not heard anything yet. I'll call later this week if I don't hear from them.

There's a good group of guys at Berlin City. They did whatever they could to get me into the car I wanted, put up with my difficult mother, took care of any issues with the vehicle that prevented it from being 100%, and made me feel like they were interested in my sale. I mean, of course they are, they work on commission, but I wasn't just a number. I had the worst credit on the planet, needed a cosigner and when that didn't work, they went the extra mile and pulled out a different tactic that got me in my Mustang. Jamie Doucette is a good, patient and pleasant dude to do business with, and he made me feel like inviting him to grab a beer after the sale. Genuine people, good vehicles and great service. Also - Jerry, the shuttle driver was good company. He enjoys his job and the people and it shows. Thanks guys.

I called this morning to schedule an appointment for Nissan service. I was on hold for 27 minutes, got tired of waiting, and hung up. I called back and an automated voice said that person can't be reached. I again hung up and called a third time and spoke with an operator. I told her about my frustrating experience this morning and she simply asked, "Nissan or Honda?" and transferred me without a word. No apology was offered. I am very disappointed in my experience this morning.

I brought my car to a local repair shop and they advised me that it would take several hours to figure out why my Altima's service light was on. They wanted to dye the engine and figure out where the exhaust might be leaking. I brought it in to Berlin City Nissan and they figured out the issue in 15 minutes, then offered to replace the defective part while I waited. I remoted into my office through my laptop and was able to work in the comfortable waiting area for the hour my car was being repaired-and the coffee was better than being at my office! I told my boss I'd be working from Berlin City Nissan from now on.

As usual, I had another great experience with the Berlin City service dept. The staff are friendly and competent, and the waiting area and shuttle service are excellent. My only complaint is the labor costs, but that's the same at any dealership. The upside of that is the increased expertise of the staff, which makes up for the costs. Thanks Berlin City!

Berlin City is the place to go for Nissan leases. Eric Burnheimer is not only an excellent and knowledgeable salesman, but a really decent person, besides. We worked with both of the managers, Tom and Chris, who both showed extraordinary levels of kindness and patience in answering all of our questions about the leasing process, and did everything they possibly could to make us understand and feel comfortable with our decision. Our finance guy (sorry--forgot his name!) likes The Office--enough said! All around, a really great experience with a really great group of people.

Would not recommend Andrew for a salesman. He's as slimy as them come for auto salesmen. He drove 2 and a half hours, paid $30 in tolls, paid $100 for a sitter for the day, went through a half tank of gas for him to tell us what we wanted wasn't even close to possible. This was a huge let down since he assured me that it was possible as I told him several times through email where we were coming from and what we could afford. I would recommend this place but not the salesman.

Day # 1... I had my 2017 Nissan Titan towed in for service due to acceleration with no additional pressure applied to the gas pedal - 70mph to 90mph very fast, and with no warning. Unsafe! Day # 2... I stopped into the service department and explained that I would like the issue fixed, and to have a loaner during that time - they do not provide a loaner until after diagnosis. A.fee hours later I hadn't heard anything from them, so I called.. I was told nothing is wrong with my car. Ok.. whatever.. they couldn't duplicate the issue - understood. Day # 3... I was leaving work after picking up the truck, and what happens when leaving the parking lot? Sudden acceleration of an extra 5-10mph. I email the dealer - the response I receive from Kevin St. Jock is that I am welcome to drop it off and pick up a loaner during diagnosis if I would pay 35ish dollars per day for it. I refuse to pay for a loaner on a car with 9k miles on it that is causing extreme safety concerns. Day # 4... I call a different Nissan dealership - Charlies Nissan of Augusta. They approved a loaner at no charge to me. I drove my unsafe vehicle an hour north of my home - to be told when I arrive that they cannot provide a loaner as I was under 21 years of age. I did not need to be 21 to purchase your 30 thousand dollar vehicle, but I must be in order to get it repaired? Hmm. Day # 5... no news Day # 6 and 7, nothing... not a single word. Day # 8... Nissan sends a survey.. How was your most recent service experience? I answer - HONESTLY. I get email not too long later from the service advisor, Kevin St. Jock, requesting that I call him - I explained that I work, and had an very busy week ahead of me - I was told that Kevin doesn't have time to email me. I explained that I apologize but I was at work - I truly did not have time to talk on the phone. Kevin's response, again was to ask that I call him directly on his cell phone. I explained I did not have the time in my day to talk on the phone, and if he had new information to please email me.... nope.. the response was that he felt the conversation he needed to have with me must be said in person or on his cell phone - my guess - to avoid documentation... Fine - I call him... ring... ring... voicemail... are you kidding me? I explained in the voicemail that I don't have time to step out for another call. 5 minutes later... Kevin calls again. I answer, we start to speak. Kevin says that he wants to discuss my survey answers, and that he is very frustrated that I sent a survey with unfavorable responses - I was also told that he loses money from unsatisfactory responses - I'm not an idiot. Sorry Kevin, but maybe be a bit more professional next time and this won't be an issue. I have contacted the Service Director, and will expect a resolution, or I will continue with Nissan Consumer Affairs to require Nissan to buy the vehicle back. Fix it, or take it off my hands for what I owe. Up to you. I won't be treated like this, and won't hesitate to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Nice job being completely inconsiderate of your customers safety on an almost brand new truck. Sincerely, Extremely dissatisfied customer.

Had my first experience with Berlin City Nissan service yesterday. When I called to make an appointment, I was less than pleased with my experience. As part of my appointment, I needed 4 new tires, and the appointment person couldn't answer my questions. He said he was going to transfer me to a service advisor, however he just called the dealerships number again and left it to me to choose the right option to get a service advisor...which wasn't clear and led me to selecting the wrong extension. Then I got another appointment setter, who did listen at all, and just did the same thing as the first guy. The third time I called (they're lucky I tried a third time) I was able to figure out which option to select, and got Marty. Then my experience changed dramatically. I was able to explain what I needed, and Marty made recommendations to assist me in selecting the right tires and services for my car. Once I dropped my car off, Peter the shuttle driver was pleasant and efficient, and got me to work on time. I received a convenient text message with the services my vehicle needed, allowing me to click a link and approve of additional services to be completed. Marty gave me a call a little later and advised my car was done, and Peter was actually a little early in picking me up to get me back to the dealership. Overall, I'm rating 3 stars because of the horrible appointment setting experience. If Berlin City fixed that, I'd give them 5. The folks in the service department seem great otherwise!

I recently purchased a used vehicle through the support of Wayne Hill. Wayne listened to our very specific needs and tight price range, and scoured the Berlin City inventory at all stores and came up with an incredible gem. Not only was the price right, but the vehicle condition and mileage were significantly better than we expected. This instantly sealed the deal without much debate or reflection. After the sale, we noticed that one of the new tires was a "dud" and approached Ricky (the sales manager) to discuss the issue. He completely understood our concern and "made it right". We left the dealership, again, satisfied and overwhelmed with the experience. This was the second vehicle purchase in 6 months and was 100 times more enjoyable, comfortable and easy than the first (at a different dealership we didn't even check inventory with). We won't need another vehicle for a while, but they WILL be our first stop the next time!

There were some issues from pre delivery that had us back and forth at Berlin City Nissan more times than needed to be, and some serious lack of communication on a few employees parts with my husband and I. Berlin City of Nissan always goes the extra mile. I leased my Sentra from them back in 2011 and elected to purchase a service package. I am a forgertful person and they have set up automatic reminders to give me the gentle nudge I need. They make sure my registration and inspection are up to date and the car is always in much better shape when I pick it up. I have not used the drop off service yet (because I like the free snacks and coffee) but I think this also shows how dedicated they are to customer service. The sales team is also very helpful and spent time reviewing my lease/purchase options with me. They give enough information and allow you the space to make a decision that works for you. I am glad that I chose Berlin City Nissan of Portland and would recommend them highly.

I also expected some derision and unwillingness to help a single girl shopping by herself, but I experienced none of that. All of my questions were answered with respect and thoughtfulness. Brought my daughter's SUV in for a flat tire that was supposed to be covered. After sitting around for an hour and a half and having to track down the service guy I was told that the tire was not covered. < Pulse rate on the rise > Asked WHY no one came and said anything until we searched them down, really no good reason was given. I then asked them to put the new tires on and I would pay for them. I asked how long it would take? Was told another hour or so. After 5 customers came and gone still waiting. *** UPDATE ****** I have to say, I'm going to eat crow on this. I'm very thankful for the customer service I just received from Berlin City in South Portland. It was not the cost of the tires but the amount of time that was spent waiting and the fact that i had to track down someone for information on what was going on and why there was such a delay on getting my tires changed. Had i been given updates on what was happening, i would have been more understanding and had more patience. They have proven that they are in my opinion a 5 star dealership. Thank you Berlin City for being many steps ahead of most dealerships.

Found a used car at Berlin. I was told it was $7,100. Sat down to do the deal and was told there was a $699 Administrative Fee plus $399 window etching fee additional. When I questioned the $1100 in extra charges they said used car prices are non negotiable. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.

I'm very proud of the Berlin City of Portland and the Service Dept. is sensational in every way,with being helpful,respectful,courtesy,and getting to know their customers personally. I've bought a 2009 Nissan Cube and I a retired mechanic and I never been a proud owner of a car like this Nissan Cube. With todays gas prices,this car not only has giving my wife and myself a smooth ride,but also has giving us surprising gas mileage 36-43 miles per gallon and around 28-31 miles per gallon city. Just remember my mode of thinking is to Think Inside The Box. So if your looking for a good car, stop by Berlin City Nissan across from Friendlys' and tell them that Mike Stevens sent you for a good reliable car that gas mileage will knock your socks off.

I would absolutely recommend this dealership I can't say much on the service department because I haven't really had any issues with these vehicles. What we all need most from a service department is honesty. Friendliness and cleanliness are expectations and usually met from any car dealer. Berlin City offered me a free inspection. I was told my "front-end was about to fall off." They offered to fix it on the spot. ($247.00) I declined as I wanted a second opinion. I got a second and a third opinion. My front end and my sways bars are fine and are still fine more than a year later. I'm glad that I saved the money. I encourage anyone sitting there to listen to the service desk clerks. They are very friendly with the people in front of them but less so with the people calling back with problems after the fact on the telephone.

My recent oil change was as professional as usual and they accomodated my wish to have my Rogue washed there versus getting a voucher to have it done elsewhere. Again, very appreciated. The folks there are very friendly and service is very quick. The amenities in the waiting room are a nice touch as is the offer to drop one off and pick one up. Recommend highly.

Never will I do business with this dealership. I called to schedule a service appointment to have a windshield wiper, and a rear passenger door latch issue addressed. When I scheduled it, they added (on their own) an oil change. I declined the oil change, because at no point did I request one. They just tried to sneak it in there. I asked them to run my VIN to make sure my bumper to bumper warranty was still good (bought it certified pre-owned with extended warranty) and was told that they would take a look at my vehicle and I would not be charged until they began repairs. My wife had to drop it off, and called me saying they needed over $300 to even look at it (expired 2 months ago. . . bad luck on my part). They added $100 to the price for a multipoint inspection. At no point did either of us request that. They were just trying to take advantage of an unaware customer. When I spoke to the service representative on the phone, he was hesitant to verify my warranty, and was clearly irritated. I’ve worked at a Nissan dealership, and I’ve never seen a practice like this. If you’re looking for a place with horrible business ethics, and one that will take as much money from you as possible, this is the place for you.

I went to Berlin City last Saturday, after having exchanged e-mails with Jeff Donovan over the course of several months. I spent a couple of hours with Jeff discussing my options for either a purchase or lease deal for a Nissan Juke. Last night (the Tuesday following my initial visit) I drove home in a 2013 Nissan Juke, fully loaded, for a lease price that I just couldn't pass on! I believe if you go back over your invoices, you will find that this service department WAY over charges for parts. That has been my experience. They even charged us 80 dollars more for a part than the price listed on their own website. I had a problem with them mis-diagnosing a problem with my daughters card, and they actually want us to believe how honest they are when I myself saw the codes her car was displaying before they put in the wrong part to fix it. Of course the engine light came back on. I can't believe my wife and daughter took it to these people. They are either incompetent, or crooks. I suspect the latter by the way the parts are priced.

The service representative communicated with me on how long the service would take and was spot on. Non-negotiable prices means "We can rip you off and you can't do nothing about it." Found a few vehicles I liked. I used Kelly Blue Book and NADA to compare prices. All of the vehicles from all Berlin City dealerships were way over priced. Then they tell you your car is worth peanuts under KBB or NADA value and keep smiling. Do your homework, they will rip you off thousands of dollars in trade-ins. Another tactic the use is to promise you a lower interest rate. I had one in writing @ 6.5%. I went to their finance dept. and it went up to 9.5%. Bought wife a 2005 Ford Escape, Told by sales rip-off personal that they do over 50 different inspection checks before they sell any cars. Radio not working, spent 1500.00 dollars on rust repair the next state inspection. Another 1250.00 dollars on the next state inspection sticker. DON'T SHOP HERE!

One evening last week, my car started having mechanical problems, and it was also snowing out. I was able to drive to Berlin City Nissan Service and arrived just before closing time. The service team thought it might just be some ice build-up in the wheels. Service Advisor Meghan, asked one of the service employees if they could at least remove the ice before closing and see if that would work. I was worried that it was closing time, but Meghan assured me that she was willing to stay as long as it would take to at least find out if it was just ice. Once the ice was removed, we found out it was not that but a cable problem. Megan and the other Service Advisor were extremely professional, courteous, and helpful during this entire time. They kept the car overnight, ordered the parts, repaired the vehicle (under warranty) and even had the car washed. Megan was very polite and helpful through the entire process. I bought a car from Berlin City Nissan about a month ago and got horrendous service after they got my money. The KAHU system they installed which I had no choice in having (they install in all their cars) did not work so I had to drive back to the dealership for them to fix it (140 mile plus tolls) round trip. By the time I got to Auburn I realized the system still didn't work. I called the sales manager Chris and he gave me a hard time about it and told me I had to go and bring my car back. I said I wasn't going to keep driving back and forth so he could send some one to pick it up, (keep in mind I have owned this vehicle less than a week at this point) he at this point did not like my attitude so he refused to send someone or if he did he would not leave me a loaner car saying he didn't have any (I saw 4 Nissans that said Berlin city all over it the day earlier on the back lot when I was their). I told him I would contact Nissan North America and the BBB. After about 20 minutes he called me back saying he thought it over and didn't want any trouble and he would send a driver with a loaner car. It took them a few days to "fix" my car. I got it back and it still did not work, so I called and talked to the top manager (Tom Hayes) of the dealership and he said he would figure it out and call me back the next day. I have yet to get a call (its been a good week or 2) and had to deal with KAHU myself to get this fixed. In the last 2 yrs and 6mnths I have bought 2 cars totaling over $40k from them and got horrendous service. On top of that their was rust on the back of the trunk which is covered by the factory under the corrosion warranty and I asked the sales manager Chris to submit it to warranty, and he told me he wouldn't. I will never buy a car from them again or any other Berlin City dealership and urge anyone I can to do the same. ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY THEY DON'T CAR ABOUT YOU.

As a sceptic of dealership service centers, I am impressed by this one. It has a waiting area that is away from both the sales floor and the service area. However, I don't believe any dogs except for service dogs should be allowed in the building. There was an incident where the dog wet on the floor in the waiting area, and it was several minutes before the owner cleaned it up. Thankfully there were no young children playing on the floor that day, or that it was in an area of little traffic.This is no place for dogs to run loose. Was extremely rude to me and they also took advantage of with my lack of automobile knowledge. I bought a used car from here only to have the exhaust pipe fall off from rust 4 months after purchasing it. There were also several holes from rust on the exhaust system which would not have happened over 4 months, this would have started long ago. So i went to the dealership, maybe to see if they could help me out since this all just happened within 4 months of buying the car. I go in and talk to the service desk and just tell them my story about what happened and if there was anyway they could help me out. So they got a manager for me. I sit down the with manager and tell him everything and my concern about how the problem started before I bought the car and how the information was withheld from me. Also that I was going to write a review about how this happened, but then came in so maybe they could make it right. So then the manager stated that he does not go around fixing things that go wrong with used cars unless they have a warranty. Also that he does not help people that threaten him with reviews. I told him i was just telling him why i was here, and also saying again that this is not a problem that happens so quickly especially since i was reassured when buying the car that the metal was as strong as when it was made because the rust wont effect that. So then the manager tells me that being disrespectful will get you kicked out of this place. Then accused me of being disrespectful to the lady that i originally talked to. After this i was appalled at the accusation. Being in the Military we are taught respect from day one and we follow it every single day. There was not one time that i was there that i was disrespectful but yet i was being threatened with being kicked out. I would not recommended this dealership to anyone, not after the way i was treated today.

Poor communication between departments. Computers were down, and confusion between finance and sales made for a confusing sale as we got different stories from the two departments during the sale. Waited two hours for car to be prepped and sales gave us multiple "it will be ready in two minute stories" looks like prep went to lunch for an hour? Had to make three trips to dealership to complete sale and have all documentation completed. We returned to buy our second car at Berlin City because of our first sales experience and Nissan product quality and value. This visit fell far below expectations.
