DO NOT GO HERE. This dealership practices the age-old technique of hiding fees. I brokered a deal through this dealership back in April, and I was told what the price would be in the brokerage of the deal. I asked if there were any more hidden fees or costs, and I was assured that there would not be. Fast forward to the TTL part of the sale in the finance office of Darius Battle, we went over the tax title and licensing fees and they seemed a bit high. There was a $200 Documentation fee that I pointed out to him and I stated that I would just do the TTL part myself at a DMV. He assured me that the dmv charges this fee as well, and that it would save time to just to the process there at the dealership. So I did (partly because the seller on the brokered deal didn’t feel comfortable with me doing the TTL without her there for whatever reason). Fast forward to today, I get the registration in the mail for our vehicle and it’s over $200 less than what the dealership charged us. So I call and talk to the finance manager of Tiger Honda, explained to him the situation, and he THEN disclosed to me that there was a $200 doc fee that the dealership always charges. I explained to him how the first time, when I called, this was not disclosed to me even though I asked about any other fees that I wasn’t aware of. I then explained to him how I was either lied to or given misinformation about this fee being a standard dmv fee, when in fact it’somey in the dealership’s pocket. He basically said I should have read the contract. I explained to him that that’s why I asked his finance guy, that’s what his job is for, and that’s what he’s trained to do (obviously inadequately) and I shouldn’t have to dig through documents to verify an answer that his trained staff already confidently gave me. This whole thing just shows bad and shady business practice, especially when I call and the finance manager tries to make it sound like it’s my fault. Could I have read the tons of pages in the disclosure and contract and all the fine print? Sure. But I asked you a very specific question and you flat out lied to me, or misinformed me, which you clearly have no intention in correcting. Steer away from this place. Dishonest people working here. Edit to tiger’s response: this is the same generic response that you’re giving your other dissatisfied reviewers. Which leads me to believe you’re just saying this to appease your possible customers looking at these reviews without actually doing anything. I have yet to receive any kind of attempt to be contacted about my issue. I’d be willing to leave a positive note on this review and make it right if you’re willing to make it right on your end and attempt to contact me, and refund me the money that I was practically conned out of.

Bought a used car 2.10.2017. Left the dealership about 5:00 p.m. The next day drove the car about 9 miles maintence light's came on. The car would start rough sounding. Brought it back Monday 2.13.2017. I spoke wirh the sales manager brought the keys and paperwork back said I felt this car is going to be trouble and I do not want to buy a car that started having problems within a few hours of buying it. He took the paperwork and keys back said he was sorry. We left. Next day called and ask when could I pick up the garage door opener and $3000.00 I put down. I was transferred to an answering machine. That evening my daughter and I went back to Tiger Honda. The sales manager took off walking real fast towards the back. I told the young lady at the desk I was here to pick up my garage door opener and $3000.00 deposit on a car I brought back and left a message for someone to call me never got a returned call so I personally came back. She called someone to assist me. A man came out said this is not Wal-Mart we don't take a car back. I once again told him we had problems the very next day with the car and brought it back on the following Monday and spoke with the sales manager that took it back. I was simply there to get my car garage door opener and $3000.00. He said his name was Sam and he said he did not authorize the sales manager to take the car back. He was rude and repeated again they are not Walmart. He said we have to take the car he gave us the keys and paperwork. We drove the car and the air conditioner stop blowing cold air. I called back said now the a/c is not working. They made an appointment to bring it on. They first tried to charge me $479.00. I said I could not believe how I was totally lied to about this car even bought the $2000.00 warranty and the car started having problems the following day. They went back and forth then told me to pay $100.00 and they would put the balance on the warranty. I was lied to about the car. I have parked the car under my garage I have another vehicle. I am seeing an attorney this week to see what can be done about these people doing this kind of very shady car sale. A word of advice. These people are crooks. I would not recommend them to anyone. I have been done very wrong and they have an " I DON'T GIVE A CARE ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY".

We had such a great experience buying a used Honda CRV. Hugh Kean was great to work with. He took the time to see exactly what we wanted, price range we had to work with. The selection was big, and after looking at a couple of them we found the perfect match to what we were looking for. Bought a vehicle from there they sold me on a polly seal when my daughter return with the vehicle the car hasn’t even been washed when I called they said it was it two step process I showed him the pictures and video that it hasn’t even been washed . I talked to Scott he said bring the car back set up appointment for next week and see him tried to set up an appointment and never got a return called several times they insist that the car was done not happy with the service department at all !! And the sales manager never return my call after several attempts!

I was asked to make an appointment for service. I did. Scheduled an oil change for 9am. Its 10:15am, still here. When I pulled in, the service person didn't even ask if I had an appointment. What's the point in making an appointment when it take over an hour for a simple oil change. Better off driving to Team Honda in Baton Rouge, the service department here is not efficient.

WARNING: There was an accident in the vehicle on my test drive. Details below. Luckily the sales rep was driving. Wish I would have read all the bad reviews reviews before stopping in. Also, I agree with Raymond on this one. SHADY dealership and buyer beware. They ran my credit after I told them not to and that I want to talk numbers first. I repeat, shady dealership. Also rude. Undervalued my trade in. When we pulled off the lot the freaking hood flew up and smashed into the windshield cracking the entire thing and bending the hood back, damaging it. I was not driving when the accident happened thankfully. So yeah if you’re going in to buy the 2015 subaru outback that’ll be back on their lot after it’s repaired, beware! Now it has been in two accidents that they won't tell you about! Oh and the manager was a patronizing douche that tried to explain the internet to me. Unreal experience. I'm putting this place on full blast across every social platform, not just because they endangered my life and insulted my intelligence but because they ran my credit without my knowledge which is totally illegal.

This is by far the worst place to purchase a vehicle. I bought a certified used lincoln MKZ three months ago & now I regret ever doing so. Within a month I noticed it was hydroplaning, a missing roller bearing was clicking, & the proximity sensors were malfunctioning. I brought it back to them to get them to work on it & get it right, they slapped two new tires on it n said "it was fine, & you purchased it as is".

I will never buy a car from Tiger Honda of Gonzales. After several phone calls negotiating the price of a Honda Accord Sport 2.0T with a Tiger Honda business development center sales rep, we came to an agreement on sale price and that price confirmed with a Tiger Honda sales manager. Each phone call with the sales rep was preceded by a recording stating our conversation was being recorded. During each negotiation conversation the specific make/model (Honda Accord Sport 2.0T) was confirmed. Upon learning from the sales rep that the sales manager had accepted the negotiated price I drove the 45 miles (55 mins), one way, from my house to the dealership. The sales manager appeared to have been awaiting my arrival. After a brief discussion relative to the specific Honda Accord Sport 2.0T the sales manager informs me that he didn’t agree to that price for that vehicle. The sales manager stated he agreed to that price but it was for a different vehicle, a Honda Accord Sport 1.5T. If this isn’t Bait & Switch I don’t know what is. This review is based on SERVICE QUALITY from CALVIN. I brought my 2017 civic si in for warranty work. The front bumper clear coat was peeling off. I dealt with Calvin. He submitted my claim with Honda. Honda says the carfax said my car had been wrecked. Which was false. I had my original dealership pull delivery history. They had documentation showing my car was never wrecked or damaged in delivery. So I tracked down this so called wreck with carfax. . I pulled the police report in ft worth Texas and come to find out progressive insurance had mixed up my vin with their clients vin. After getting this sorted out I had the police report corrected and in turn carfax corrected. Everything’s good right? So I call Calvin and tell him I have all the documentation showing how everything went wrong and it is corrected. He tells me on the phone he won’t do anything for me because the car has been painted. I have all the documentation showing it was never damaged or painted. But he didn’t want to hear it. He said he wouldn’t help me because he could tell it was painted. He must be a body expert at a place that doesn’t even do body work. Due to his rudeness and arragonce and the fact he would refused to look at my proof I will NEVER EVER EVER TAKE MY CAR TO THEM AGAIN. NOT ONLY THAT NEXT YEAR I WILL NOT TRADE MY CAR IN THERE EITHER.

Service center is crooked. Took it in not even a year ago because the blower motor went out and was told that I would have to pay. After much fussing from me they "discovered that it was still under warranty ( car wasn't even 2 years old yet). They fixed it. Not even a year later and the a.c. starts blowing hot, puffing out dust and has an awful smell to it. I brought it in and was told I had to have an "appointment", which the lady was extremely rude about. I told it it smelled like burning wires and I was afraid something would catch fire. She asked to make an appointment. I refused to leave. She told me it'd be a 4 hour wait until someone could look at it. I said fine but lo and behold someone was able to look at it and my cabin air filter (which supposedly has been changed twice before )(the car isn't even 3 years old yet) was so filthy she said it was amazing it worked at all. I told her I had it in their shop only a little over a month ago and the did a battery service, flushed the brakes and transmission and did an oil change and the multipoint inspection, costing me a lot of money, but I like to err on the safe side (note: obviously stupid) . I asked why the filter wasn't checked then. She said it's just a free inspection. I didn't have the money for the diagnostic test so I just had them change the filter. The air blew hotter than before. So I took it somewhere else for a second opinion. The guy asked me where my strater(?) Caps were at .I was puzzled. The only people to have touched my car was Tiger Honda. but my high and low end caps were both missing . The guy told me it was low on freon and could have slowly been leaking out since the caps were missing (I'm guessing they have been gone since my a.c. was serviced last summer) also he asked if I wanted my battery cleaned. I told him I just had it cleaned last month. But flipped open the positive cap and they had so much gunk on it! I took it back to Honda and they said the caps have been missing to long to prove it was them. I've only ever brought it to them! He said maybe they had some caps in the parts department. I asked if I would have to pay. The SCOFFED and LAUGHED and said of course. I refused and he finally went to talk to a manager. When I asked about my battery he had no answer. But they finally replaced the caps and re cleaned the battery. I could have a leak in my line, I'm not sure yet. But Tiger Honda will not be getting money to fix it! Nothing but crookedness going on here! I put my faith and trust in that company to carry me and my child around in a safe car and all I get is overpriced shoddy work. They may have cared at one point but now it's all about the money.

So the dealership itself is lovely, clean, and those I met today seemed nice enough. Here's my problem; Stopped in New Orleans while travelling east on a move. Wanted to pick up car listed on their website. Emailed my inquiry/information and was contacted the next day to set up an appointment for a test drive Tuesday, 2 January at 09:15. I arrive at 09:16, and was told they'd get the rep from the email. I was asked if I was the guy coming in who was traveling, to which I answered yes. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was told the car was in the body shop for a hood issue....and had been for a week. I drove two hours (one there-one back) to test drive a car that wasn't even available. And sure, maybe the lady making the test drive appointment didn't know the car listed on their site was currently in the repair shop, but what about the others? They had read my email explaining that I was traveling, what car I was coming to test drive, etc. It had my contact info in it and they had clearly read it. If they knew all that about me, why didn't they call to tell me the car wasn't available? It would have saved me hours on an already long road trip. This is the thing I find upsetting and inexcusable.

After a very rocky start with one of their sales personnel, Holly Henderson (the new sales manager) contacted me through these reviews. I phoned her and we discussed my issues. She was extremely nice and helpful. She asked what she could do to correct the problem and we agreed on a very fair deal for the car my granddaughter wanted. After emailing with the internet salesman, Kurt Howard, multiple times regarding two vehicles of interest I was told I would need to visit the dealership to "lock in" an end of the month pricing discount. I needed an exact price because I was paying cash. I asked that both vehicles be available for me to look at, as I was unsure what color exterior/interior combination I wanted. I asked if they had both color combinations, in the vehicle I was shopping for, on the lot. He indicated they did. So I drove 2 hours in heinous traffic with an 8 month old. I get there, I was passed off to another salesman who did not know any of the background that Kurt and I had been discussing. Neither of the vehicles were ready for me to look at. The new salesman had to run around the lot looking for them. Best part? The vehicle I wanted they did not have in the model I was looking for. I wanted the Honda Pilot Elite and they showed me a Touring! Meanwhile, with all this waiting my 8 month old is getting restless. This was the main reason I went through the process of communicating when I would be arriving at the facility and even provided an appointment time--I know with a baby I would need to be judicious with my time. Needless to say, I thanked the salesman that did assist me (his name was Kirk--he was very nice) and left. My husband proceeded to call the General Manager of Sales the following day and left a message for the man to call him back so he could discuss the less than desirable shopping adventure I experienced. The GM never returned his call. I will never attempt to do business with this facility again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

prepare to have your time wasted by Kurt Howard and the finance manager John Henry Garcia. we bought our 1st car from them a year ago and tried to trade up and bigger. After 3 days of back and fourth and a settled number we head there to sign and get a call on the way after sitting in baton rouge traffic that their incompetence made a huge mistake with their numbers and tried to go up on the price by 5k. needless to say our time was wasted by them. they were to chicken sh!+ to call me themselves and left a poor salesman who I haven't even talked to this whole time to get an earful from me. that's how much they care about their previous customers. they mess up and won't even reach out to me or answer any of my calls. Poor customer service.... plan on getting it.

I would've given a 0 if it was possible. Unprofessional. Clueless. They seem to have never sold anything before, or how to deal with customers in a timely manner. I will never do business with these people again. I was approved for a vehicle, nobody called me back to make me aware of that fact, and instead I called at least 5x throughout the day. Still not knowing that I was, in fact, approved. FINALLY, at 3 pm I get a call telling me that there was someone else looking at the vehicle I wanted. I asked "SO... did I get approved?" and Tim the salesman says "Oh yea, you're approved". He calls me back at 3:35 to tell me that the other person put a downpayment toward the vehicle. AWESEOME. Had they responded to me at 8am when I fist spoke with Tiger Honda, then I would've already had papers signed, OR a deposit. This place has definitely lost a customer.

Bought a 2016 “certified” Accord and it went through top to bottom inspections to be “certified”. Extended warranty and another warranty on top of the extended warranty. Three months later I was stranded out of town to a dead battery. I called the service department and guess what?... It’s not covered under ANY of our warranties and it’s on me. How is a brand new battery dead in three months? You were quick to sell the product, now stand by your product! But thank you for showing me not to deal with Tiger Honda again.

Do not go for repairs. $762 in labor cost for 2 hours of repairs. $230 of the total came from a 20 minute job. Which the service representive told me 20 extra minutes to get this done. I figured most of my total was parts because I had alot done but that wasn't the case when she handed me the breakdown after the work was finished. Do not go to for anything other than the coffee. Which was very good.

Terrible service from this dealer. I was buying a 2013 prius I've set my eyes on. Me and the sales associate agreed on the price 12k for the vehicle . I've had 5000$ down therefore was only going to be financing 7000$. When the paperwork was done, I signed the paperwork without checking it thoroughly , my fault , but at the end of the day I tried to call him back with the error of the paperwork to get it fixed but he wouldn't pick up any of my calls or call me back which forced me to drive 2 hours to go see him (finance director don). The car was marked up 5000$ so the total sales of the vehicle was 17,000$ . When I do see him he's trying to take me as a fool ,saying he needed to finish his granola bar , as he have not eaten all day . I could tell he was trying to think of some excuse as he was making the excuse to eat as he was to think of a way out and told me " it was all the extra fees aka sales tax ,title transfer , and interest rate." Crooks highly don't recommend you buy from them . if you do decide to buy a car here check your paperwork very carefully or the finance director "don" will try to get off on you .

Buyers beware I purchased my car from here which included a warranty and was specifically told that if I had any issues with my car while being under warranty I would get a loaner vehicle while my car was being repaired. That was a complete lie, I waited for almost two hours to be told that I would not be giving a loaner vehicle. Steve the Manager didn't even have enough respect to come out and tell me that he wouldn't be giving me a loaner vehicle. I purchased this vehicle so that my kids and I could have reliable transportation. Its very ridiculous that Im paying over 450.00 a month for a vehicle that just stop working at any giving time. However for Steve the manger to deny me a loaner vehicle and not even have the common courtesy to come out of his office to let me know the reason why himself is very unprofessional and shows how much he cares about his customers. So to any potential buyers know that they will tell you anything to get you to buy a vehicle.

I won’t be going back! After purchasing 4 brand new tires I had to return 3 times before they told me that one of them was defective. Not only were they condescending and short with me but they also lied about what they were doing. On of the service people even asked “where we got the tires put on” as if to say who ever did it didn’t know what they were doing. My TP light kept coming on so I brought it in to the service department. There was only one person checking customers in and only one technician working on cars. I asked to speak to the service manager because everytime I come here the staff is new, no one is knowledgeable about the process, and long wait times. He was in a meeting which is convenient considering his department is under staffed and everytime I come in the service advisors office is full of employees but none of them can assist in servicing a vehicle. Service is very mediocre here.

All I ask for someone to help me and communicate with me about trying to purchase a vehicle there. On my visit there I was look over or just straight lied to. No communication, no nothing. The salesperson was great but was not professional on how to communicate with me. Every time I call it was nothing yet or I’m working on it. All I was looking for was a yes or no. My credit was ran multiple times and still walk away with nothing. Money was wasted getting my car towed there for what it couldn’t be use. I was sent around in circle. I felt insulted and degraded. I felt cheated by the mechanic who performed the oil change on our vehicle. He said that the car has an irreparable tire damage and needs to be replaced. I went to Diez tire shop to have the tire checked and found out that the irreparable tire has no damage after all. The nail did not even penetrate through and it was not on the side wall either. The check up on the check up on all four tires was free. Thanks to Diez Tire. The consumer's bureau needs to know this.

I bought a car from here back in January and the transmission has went out. We asked multiple times if there was anything wrong with the car, any leaks, damage. I asked (Mike & Giovanni) what was the car leaking because I saw red fluid under the hood . They kept saying nothing and was pushing the car on us more and more. well few weeks down the line I noticed the leak started to get worst. Absolutely the worst dealership experience I've ever had. Brought my car in for a 9am appointment for a diagnosis and repair. At 3pm I figured I should call and check since I hadn't heard anything from them. This is when they tell me they don't have the parts and it's too late in the day to get them here. They said that if I wanted it repaired tomorrow, that "I" could pay $40 to have the part overnighted. REALLY? Because your employee dropped the ball on a 9am appointment? Nevertheless, I kindly declined the overnighted part as well as any other repairs they recommended, pending a second opinion. After paying $85 to get my car back, I'm driving home and the engine just doesn't seem right and it's making a loud roar during accelerating. I stopped at a gas station and popped the hood to inspect and found the entire air handler disassembled and shoved aside jammed tight to where I couldn't move it without damaging the air filter. I returned back to the dealership and demanded to see the manager as well as a refund for my trouble. The manager got real cocky with me and even raised his hand at me while stating they were very busy and that all the dealerships around here are very busy. Keep in mind that's why I made an appointment, to guarantee the repairs would be done today. When I demanded he refund me, he threatened to have me removed from the property. In the meantime, I tracked down another manager and expressed my dissatisfaction with the managers response to the problems I had and how I'm never coming back here. I feel badly mistreated over this incident, and I feel the dealership could have handled it more professional. I plan to follow up with upper management.

I asked her will my down payment of $5000 go towards the car loan. She said yes. Also the finance manager said yes too. I get my first car note from Wells Fargo. Look at the remaining balance $14,995. Where did my $5000 go ? Very unhappy being lied too. Had a bad experience before when I poor credit. With another car STEALERSHIP. But I had good credit with this purchase. So I didn't require a big down payment. I will raise hell with Tiger Honda and Wells Fargo if they don't where my down payment went. My total balance should be $9955.66.

I had a great experience the first couple times I went, the last couple times though have ruined it for me. The last THREE times I left here, as soon as I pulled out of the garage my tire pressure light came on, everytime I went back in, they just reset the light and told me it was fine. All THREE times I had nails in my tire, they used to care, they don’t anymore. Adding on extras and trying to get you to get things that you don’t need. I honestly regret buying my car from them, it’s been nothing but problems and they don’t care.

My wife and I purchased an Odyssey minivan. We knew we likely were going to purchase Honda, but we needed to make sure our carseats fit the way we wanted them to. The very first thing we looked at with the salesperson was the seating. The salesperson indicated that the second row seating could be configured with the two bucket seats together to one side of the vehicle. This is one of the primary reasons we purchased that day. When we were attempting to install carseats, it became apparent that the middle row did NOT configure the way he said it would. The bucket seats absolutely cannot be configured that way. We headed off to the dealership the next morning, and the salesperson tried for nearly an hour to get the seats to fit. The installation of the carseat on the middle console seat was very difficult. The salesperson had my wife go to the State Police station to get the install done. The trooper there could not do a proper install. My wife had to do a lot of research to figure out proper install, and even then, the install was not as secure as we would like. The person who normally checks our installs managed to get it tight, but any reinstalls will be stressful. Tiger Honda was not quick to offer up solutions. We asked our salesperson through text for an extended warranty. The GM called my wife asking about carseats and said he would call back. After receiving no word back, we headed off to the dealership one week into our purchase. We reiterated our desire for an extended warranty as compensation for false information. We were told they could sell one to us at "one dollar over cost" ($1500). Obviously this is not a resolution, so we declined. The GM then offered us packages that were not desireable (wheel and tire protection, scotch guard, etc). The GM claimed a 2 year service plan cost $450 for the dealership. I am not sure how 4 oil changed and a tire rotation costs the dealership so much, but what we asked for is the cash value of the service plan. The GM called back at 5 pm on Monday and said his GM approved a $200 credit at the dealership. I gave the GM a few choice words and declined. Now I am in the process of filing with the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission and BBB. I do not recommend Tiger Honda. Our experience there has been stressful and their lack of recognition of how big of a problem they have caused is frustrating.

I brought my 2017 Pilot in to have the tires rotated and balanced before a trip I was taking. I made the service advisor aware that I am very particular about my vehicle and didn't want any scratches or marks put on my wheels, she took note of what I was saying and didn't act like I was being ridiculous or asking for too much.
