Purchased a Brand new maxima. 3-4 months after having it an annoying rattle began in the back of my car. I take it to the Nissan place For them to find the rattle, after a week of them searching for a rattle they blamed it all on rear right shock That needed to be replaced that would be covered under warranty. They replaced it and Sent me on my way. As soon as Got on the interstate I began to hear the rattle, as it is only able to be heard at 50mph or greater, I called the dealership back to let them know that the rattle was not fixed and was actually worse. I was told the supervisor would call me back to make arrangements for them to look again but I never received a phone call. I tried calling again to speak to someone about this issue and they never returned my call. After calling again I was told it had been fixed replacing a rear shock. No one was willing to help and now I’m stuck Paying For a brand new car With the constant rattle that has to be drowned out by the radio. I love my Maxima, but I will never buy another vehicle from Nissan. They want your money but they’re not willing to help you.

I purchased a Kia Sportage and needed an extra key fob. I learned that Sparks Kia (Monroe, LA) sold the fob I needed for $200 and charged $300 to program it to your vehicle. I was able to buy a fob online for $50 and a local lock smith agreed to program it for $60 ($500 vs $110). However to program the fob you must obtain the unique pin code (for your vehicle) from a Kia Dealership. The Sparks Kia dealership, Service/Parts Manager, told me they would not give me the code unless they could program the fob. I called Kia Motor's America Cust. Asst. they said they were powerless and directed me to drive 100 miles to the Bossier or Shreveport Kia dealership; which I did. Sparks Kia or Nissan of Monroe, LA (same company) does not deserve anyone's business if they hold-up their customers to avoid real market price competition. If I own the car I believe I own the pin code; and should have received it with the car. The Bossier City, LA Kia dealership provided me with the pin code and gave me a complimentary key chain; with a smile. I plan to tell this story online and to my over 800 coworkers as many times as possible with hopes of punishing this dealership. I ask that you share this story as well. If It can happen to me it can and will happen to you; unless you punish this group into compliance. Please and Thanks.

This dealer ran my credit with other lender with out my permission. This gave me two hard hits after I told them who I wanted to finance the vehicle with. After calling them several times to get an explanation,they said they were trying to get me a better deal. I never authorized this credit app. This company lowered my credit score by 199points. I will never buy a vehicle from them again.

The service department is terrible here. I'd never buy a nissan or kia around here for risk of having to deal with them again. I've brought my car in multiple times for the same issue, while it was under warranty and while it was out. Each time they would say they didn't find an issue or that they fixed the issue. It's been years and it still has an issue. They will not work with you - they will charge you every time they look at it regardless if its the same issue or not! They can't manage to fix it and they just want your money. They also lie about how much they test the vehicle. They told me they tested the car for 2 hrs driving around... my odometer was up less than 5 miles than when I dropped it off. Did you drive 5 miles in 2 hours???? That's slower than when the issue has ever happened anyways... so how about you not lie to me? I'm tired of bringing my car here... I wish there was another option. Ooooh let me add on something too... while bringing my car into service, someone was harassing me to trade in my car or buy a new one. Not only that, he was harassing others, getting them to call people they knew that might be interested in buying a car. That is just wrong. It was not just simply asking if a person was interested in buying or trading for a new vehicle - it was HARASSMENT! Persistent, demanding, and intimidating. Disgusting sales tactic.

I didn't receive an apology for the damage until I picked the car up after the repairs and mentioned that I didn't receive an apology. The manager did try to make things right by installing splash guards and giving three free oil changes, but I still feel an apology was in order the day it happened.

She needs an extended warranty to cover all the trouble that's coming because of them and that's after 2 yrs ago they let her husband trade her truck in and get him a car for himself. It's really funny to me that this place took down all of the prices on their website right before they started a "$5k over KBB 'sale'" and just so happen to be wanting exactly $5000 more than the formerly listed price for a vehicle that I've been watching for several weeks now. I smell a rat! I've been trying to get a copy of the terms of this trade-in offer now for FOUR DAYS and NO ONE from this dealership has called me back. There is nothing on their website, no "some exclusions apply" subtext on their ads, and nothing coming up in a Google search for it. I even called them to see if they could point me to some sort of legally binding document and got two different answers from someone in finance and someone in sales. One said the trade-in vehicles had to be a certain age and the other said they could be anything. Sounds like typical dealership sales mumbo-jumbo to make people think they're getting a deal when they're really not. Any honest dealership wouldn't pull their prices or advertise trade-in deals without putting them in writing. Heck, if they were so good at selling cars they wouldn't have to use gimmicks and unethical tricks to get people to buy from here; people would drive from all over because they felt taken care of and loved. I feel like I'm being duped and the salesmen and the internet sales team won't give me a straight answer. I will NOT be buying anything from here. Not now. Not EVER.

Where do I begin. First of all, I went in for my free oil change. I called Doc, my salesman and he took care of me and Blake got me in and out of there BEFORE my appointment time. Then, a couple days later, I had a blowout on the way to church and wasn't able to get to Monroe for nearly 2weeks. I was unable to drive my car, my choice.I called Mr. Doc again and he made my appointment for me with the service dept. I had already talked with the service dept and told them it was under warranty and was told that they probably wouldn't cover it because they had a customer last week that the claim dept. Denied. So, I wasn't going to get my hopes up. I arrived and the service guy wasn't too positve but Mr.Doc went above and beyond he said "Don't you worry you will go home with a tire today" I live on a fixed income, so every penny counts. I began praying!! Mr. Doc disappeared and God showed out! Not only did I get a tire but my warranty covered it all! Thank you God and thank Doc and Blake

We bought our truck last year from a salesman who did not disappoint but when we came back this time we got a different salesman who did not do near as well, we asked to trade in our vehicle, assuming that's what was being done, came back and was told they were not taking it but just giving us another with a cheaper note but still keeping the truck. Our whole reason for attempting to try for vehicle is to get away from the high note we had, NOT add another that was just cheaper on top of the one we had. We all around like sparks Nissan but was not impressed with the salesman we had this time.

6-21-19 Update again I try to call the service dept to ask a question about oil change and induction flush, and once again phone just rings and rings and eventually it just hangs up on you. I will never understand this. FIGURED IT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BETTER BUT GUESS NOT Service dept is the worst. I only bring my car here due to it being a new car. I called 4 times for the service dept and kept getting someone else voice mail and when I asked the service dept if they had a line to the, one as told no. Really. Hopefully something will be done about this. This is the 2nd time I've had this issue.

Sparks Nissan sold me an illegal car!!! I purchased a car about a year ago and went to get it inspected for the first time today. I was informed by the company doing the inspection that the window tint was illegal in Louisiana (the state in which I purchased the car). One of the reasons I purchased this car was because it had tinted windows and I made the assumption that since the car was being sold in Louisiana, that the car would comply will all laws of the state. Apparently sparks does not think that this is a valid assumption to make. After speaking with the sales person that sold me the car and the manager at sparks, they proceeded to put an illegal inspection sticker on the car. Illegal because: 1. They knew the window tint would not pass inspection. 2. They didn't look at ANYTHING on the car. 3. They told me that they aren't licensed to put inspection stickers on cars that are not on their lot. I did not ask for an inspection sticker to be put on the car. I requested that the window tint be replaced with legal window tint and they refused. I'm only give them 2 stars instead of 1 because they were polite throughout the process and thy did strip the illegal tint off that should not have been left on there in the first place.

I have bought three new Nissan vehicles in last 12 months. Each time I tried making deal with my local Nissan dealer (Sparks) to avoid traveling out of town. Always end up several thousand dollars away from other Nissan dealers. I enjoy my new titan and pathfinders. Just wish I could get a decent deal at Sparks. New car sale manger is generally the problem. Save thousands by shopping other Nissan dealers. Make me want to avoid using their service team. If they try to make a lot of money on the sales, why not the service side.

My wife wanted to kick the tires on a Nissan Rogue after reading reviews and seeing an advertised price on Sparks' website. We drove to the lot and met Willie Bartmess. Willie showed her a couple of different Rogues, but would not acknowledge the advertised price. Told her she wanted "too much car" for the price she wished to pay. She'd secured financing with her credit union and expressed zero interest in financing with Sparks Nissan. That did not stop him from running her credit (unbeknownst to us)... we only found out he did that today after she received notice by mail that her credit had been checked at Sparks Nissan. In a nutshell, Mr. Bartmess would not acknowledge the advertised price for the Nissan Rogue, ran my wife's credit without her permission after she had stated multiple times she would be using her own financing, and played some shell game with inflated interest and prices and tried to convince it was a good deal. It has a happy ending though -- another Nissan dealership welcomed her financing and gave her the price she was looking for (thousands below what Sparks wanted). She has her loaded and brand new Caspian blue 2018 Nissan Rogue with all wheel drive with a great interest rate to boot! Vehicles are a big investment and can cost you dearly in the long run if you don't do your homework. You may have to go out of town or even out of state to get your best deal, but it could save you several thousand dollars on the cost and interest if you do.

My experience with Sparks Nissan has been nothing but wonderful and a blessing. I bought an Armada Platinum in July of 2017 and I loved it! Everybody during that experience was wonderful and helpful. From the owner down to the service men during this past year. Unfortunately, I was in a bad car wreck in November of 2018. My 1 year old Armada was totaled, but I walked away from the wreck due to what I was driving. I turned to Sparks Nissan again to buy another Armada Platinum. William helped me through the hard times, Jesse helped me with the insurance issues, and Dwayne and Brad helped me with smiling faces during the entire process. I have purchased two new cars in the last three months from Veronica Impson at Spark's Nissan. Purchased my wife a 2018 Nissan Maxima in July and got such a great deal on it I went back and purchased a 2019 Nissan Sentra for my stepson. The whole experience from start to finish was easy and didn't feel like I was being pressured by anyone. Veronica was very knowledgeable on all the features on both vehicles ( mechanical, safety, navigation, entertainment, etc). She explained everything under the hood, inside, and even in the trunk !! Took my vehicle for Service to replace tires. Purchased tires and paid for fitting (would have been cheaper at SAMs but wanted to use the dealer). Upon picking the car up the tyre pressures were 51&52 on the rear and 42&48 on the front (they should be 34). Chrome original equipment valve caps were replaced with black ones on the back and no valve caps on the front. Additionally, they damaged the front wheel surround and cracked the bumper. (I suspect they wheeled some equipment into it). Talked to the Service manager - he will look into it. Two weeks later, I talk to the Service Manager in person. Service Manager states it his not his call and the boss, William Sparks, has the photos and he will get back to me tomorrow. He takes my phone number. No updates! Three weeks later I call William Sparks. He asks me to send photos and that he will get back to me, does not appear to have any knowledge of this. To his credit, he does and leaves a message saying, “My guys tell me they didn’t do it.” End of conversation. I didn’t do it and there was no damage when I took the car in? No option but to never use Nissan Sparks/Kia again.

The Sales Manager and other employees lied to my face. They offered me one deal and then tried to hide $5,000 in my bill. If I wasn't good at math, I would've never known it because they are excellent liars. When I asked for the original deal they offered me, they acted like they never said it. They wasted five hours of my time and made my first attempt at buying a car terrible. I will NEVER step foot on their lot again, even if they were the last car dealer in the south. The Sales Manager (Shelby) is likely the worst manager I have ever come across.
