Apparently everyone at this dealership is not incompetent since they do have a few good reviews. My experience was a little different though. I just drove over 300 miles to see a truck that sold yesterday. Hopefully he is no longer employed at this dealership but if he is, beware of Ty (the internet contact). He's about as incompetent as they come.

I had a great Salesperson, Rob - Constant issues (not with Ford) but with the service department and a complete lack of pride, responsibility or action. Purchased a new, Platinum F350 and had to bring it back a few days later because when rolling down the Drivers side window, you could tell it was not a smooth process. After a few times of rolling up/down, I noticed that whatever was causing the "sluggish" response, was actually etching the glass. I brought it back to ford and they had it for almost two weeks. After 5 days I requested a loaner vehicle and the service team could care less. They told ME to "call enterprise and see if they have any Fords. I think we cover those." I asked to speak with my salesperson and she actually "just call sales, do you need their number?" Had my Salesperson not helped, they literally wouldn't have done a thing. (they said 3 days initially.) I tried to replicate the issue before leaving but it seemed as if it was resolved. Within an hour however, the window was doing the exact same thing but much worse. Once rolled down, you had to pull up with your hand to assist the power window motor - again, the glass had deep scratches. I called back and was told that they "were backed up so if it can wait, bring it in next week." The girl took a full description (even though I had been there 2 hours earlier) and said she made notes regarding the problem. More fun. I brought the truck back to Rountree at the same time that I would be out town on business. They had NO notes or any record of my call to speak of, so I spent 30 minutes explaining the issue to someone new. They said it would be 3-5 days which was fine since I was out of town anyways. When I arrived back in Shreveport, I had no calls, emails, or texts from Rountree. I called and they said that since they marked it as fixed the first time, Ford would not warranty it so nothing had been done at this point. I asked again for a loaner vehicle and was given a firm. "We don't do that, call Enterprise." Long story shortened. They had my truck for almost 4 weeks and when I did get it back, the very next morning, I opened the door to head to work and the DRIVERS INTERIOR DOOR PANEL FELL OFF! It was hanging by wires. They had removed the panel so poorly that all the clasps were missing, broken, or bent. Once again, back to Rountree for another 2 days. Here's the last straw - and why I took the time to write this review. I think Ford should know that I will never buy another one of their vehicles because of this. In January, my wife needed a larger SUV. We bought an Escalade primarily because she was tired of Ford. Today, April 18, 2018, I got in my truck only to find pools of water in the cup holder and really...everywhere that water could pool. I cleaned it up and thought perhaps the kids spilled something? I checked and the moon roof was fully closed and sealed so no big deal, right? I wish. At lunch I got in my truck to once again find everything soaked in water. I pulled into a garage bay and checked the roof - Still closed - Water was actively dripping out of the speakers, room Aux switches and the sun-glass holder was filled completely with water. The roof material was soaking wet and the smell of mold had started. Here are a couple pics of the water issue. Most importantly, I called Rountree and after the receptionist hung up on my THREE times attempting to transfer me, I was told there was nobody of any authority working today and I could leave a voicemail. I explained I had a truck slowly filling with water and I would happily talk to anyone who could help. She didn't say anything, she just transferred me. The lady who answered did not introduce herself, she said "Rountree," I had to ask her name. She said she was just a receptionist so we played the "can you get me someone to help?" game all over again. She said she was transferring me and then hung up. I did call my salesperson (who doesn't work there anymore) and he was the only person who both cared and offered help

That was such a terrible idea taking my vehicle out there. As soon as I walked in, I felt unwelcome. I came to change a brake light bulb which is supposed to be an easy fix. It took over an hour and they mounted the taillight wrong. I will never trust them fixing my vehicle again.

Don't think I should be smelling burnt oil and seeing oil drip under my truck for two days after servicing. I understand it's hard to catch all oil when removing the oil filter, but you would think a "professional" establishment would clean up their mess. Had also seen where there was a free exterior car wash with every oil change. I guess what I didn't see was even though it was free with every service, you still had to ask for it when checking in. My service advisor, Heather, did offer to run it through the wash when I asked about it when picking up my truck, but by then I had other obligations to attend to and didn't have time. She was friendly and courteous which is why the rating is two stars not one. Won't even go into the salesman texting me after I made my appointment for the oil change asking me if I was willing to trade my truck in.

Very very poor service!!! Air conditioner putting out only 65 degrees cool. Factory specs should be in the 40’s. Rountree Service Mgr claimed vehicle was within factory specs. Duh! No additional service or repair offered. Called another local Ford dealer and took it in. they looked at temp measured and agreed that something is wrong and will repair! This is my husband’s truck purchased from Rountree FORD and will be the last from Rountree because their Service sucks! He hates Rountree Ford with a passion!!!

I brought my vehicle in on a Wednesday which was under warranty. They didn't have the parts in to fix it. They finally got them in the following Monday and kept my vehicle almost all day. I picked it up late that afternoon as I was told it was "fixed". My vehicle started chugging and cutting out on the way home. I had to take it back and the next day I was told my fuel pump went out with only 12,000 miles on a brand new vehicle. I finally got my vehicle back fixed that next Wednesday. What a bad experience.

I only go to them for my oil changes for my new car. I expect a long wait when I show up as a walk in. Yet this time I made an early morning appointment ahead of time. Somebody please explain to me why it still takes 2 hours for it. I could get faster and cheaper oil changes elsewhere, but this is a dealership! Come on! I have already had the technician lose one of my valve stem covers. They didn't even have the nerve to tell me. I discovered it on my own. 3 Batman valve stems and and ugly blue one. I have never had service this bad from any place.

A made an 8 o'clock appointment so I could get out early. This was for a routine oil change and service. It took almost two and one half hours. Why even set up appointments if you're not going to honor them?

My tire pressure sensor fault is still showing despite replacing two of them. Nobody called to update me on the progress. It was the longest time I have waited for service from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday. I am not sure if the repairs were completed or not but I had to pick up the car for work. By the way thank you staff for the trouble of looking for the car keys. I am still you customer and I would recommend you to others. It was just a bad deal this time. Thank y’all.

I spent two hours and 15 minutes JUST to get my tire patched in their service department. I made an appointment so I thought it might take 30-45 mins max. But apparently, Ford no longer honors appointments as true appointments, it's a first come first serve thing which would have been great to know going into it. Appointments are only so that you know who will be servicing your vehicle. I found that out after an hour passed by and I went to ask why my car hadn't been taken back yet. Very upset and disappointed in Ford.

My transmission went out on my vehicle it was covered under my warranty department. I bring my vehicle to rountree ford they replace it and I get my vehicle back and then the problems start. I find out that my transmission wasn’t the only thing they touched. They touched my right Axel And 3 days later I hear this metal on metal noise I hear. I bring it back to rountree ford they work on my vehicle which cost me more money and they tell me my left axel is out wow you don’t say. They say they fixed it and I get my vehicle back and drive off not 3 feet and I still hear this metal on metal noise and they tell me to change my brakes now. This all started with the transmission that they replaced that still sucks. I almost forgot my advisor that suppose To call me to keep me up to date with what going on with my vehicle never called me not once in the 3 months rountree had my vehicle

My Lincoln MKZ kept for THREE WEEKS. The housing for the map light rattles worse than before. The god-awful, irritating air conditioner dash noise persists. Sold this car today. Purchased Mercedes. I will NEVER purchase another Lincoln.

Poor service. Went in for oil change and wobbling in rear of car. Was told that oil was changed, tires rotated, and everything was fine. Couldn't get the wobbling checked because technician was swamped. Drove home only to return less than 30 minutes later with squealing and rubbing noise. After 3 days of being told that my car is fine, I was finally told that a "rock" was the cause of the noise and that I needed new tires for the wobbling. This new information goes totally against what I was told on the first and second day. I was 100% misled about the condition of my car. Service tech told me and her supervisor two different things, receipt coincides with what I was told. I've taken my cars to Roundtree for years even purchased one from there. I will not be going back for service or to purchase new vehicle.

Service was quick and cost was reasonable. I had 4 new tires installed after a flat. Only issue was the spare tire was not put back into its proper position. It was left in the trunk with jack and lug wrench loose. I had to re-secure it to the hold down bolt. Not a huge deal but it was greasy and sort of heavy to move around for me.

I would of gave it no stars if possible I took my car their that was still under the extended warranty for some repairs to the back up camera and 2 recalls. The 1st time they had it 8 days and returned it to me with only 11 miles worth of gas in it. After I got it back it messed up again that same day so I brought it back and they had it around 4 days. So after I picked it up for a 2nd time I find that my console is cracked in 2 spots and it wasn't before and once again it still wasn't working so I brought it back and sat 2 hrs while they calibrated the screen and 2 days later I realize the navigation isnt working. So I will now have to make another trip over their Monday and then I'll still have to wait for the parts they broke to come in

Trisha sets the standard for Ford/Lincoln service. Wait for routine oil change and service check-up at 9:30am was one hour and fifteen minutes. Not too bad for dealer service department. I have had to wait over two hours before with this dealer. They are getting better.

After a bad experience 21 years ago with Rountree, I decided to give them another shot. Made appt for an assessment. Told the lady with appts that I can not leave my truck & curtsey transport was too far that I would have to wait. She said ok. I got there & wasnt no acknowledgement for several minutes. Finally someone asked if I had been helped & helped me. When I told them I had an appt & was waiting they told me that the appt was a drop off appt & I needed to leave it. I asked for a manager & she told me I had to take it up with corporate because it was a corporate issue. That was not a problem for me. I went to sales & asked for head in charge cause I needed corporates #. They then decided that I could talk to the service manager. Service manager was amazing. I will continue to use my sales lady at Rountree but I just dont think their service dept is for me.

I have a loose cable and a loose plastic panel under my left side near the rear. I showed it at the dealership and they took my car for repairs, so I believed. After 1h the lady who took the order showed up and said everything is fixed! We left the dealership and drove to New Orleans in our vacation. After several miles I did hear the tapping noise again and to my surprise I noticed the plastic panel was still loose. They plugged the cable back in, hopefully in the right receiver but left the panel loose. And after 700miles driving and tapping under the bottom of my car I hope it’s not more damages now! I’m back in an dealership ant hope they can fix my car! That’s so disappointing I can’t describe.

Took over 2 weeks. Brought truck in for a wobble and check engine light. Warranty was out less than 1 month. Took 3 days to look at wrobble problem. Fixed that then took another 4 days to find out what was keeping check engine light on. Wasnt 1st time for co eng light. Then that wasn't covered. No point in making an appointment. I understand this service center has an abundance of clients, but they need to improve the efficiency of their system. Made appointment Friday, they weren't able to look at my vehicle so they told me to come back first thing Monday morning. It's now Monday, three hours in and still no word on my vehicle.

The experience was horrible. I dropped my truck off Monday morning at 6:40, my appointment was for 7:00. I did not get my truck back until Thursday evening and they had not done any work to my truck at all. It had not even been in the shop yet. Also, my advisor only called me once to let me know what was going on and that was Monday. After that I did not hear from my advisor again until Wednesday asking me did I want to leave my truck overnight. Thursday evening came around and my truck still had been sitting in the parking lot waiting to go into the shop so I went to pick it up. This dealership does not deserve any stars. The only reason I put the one star is because you are required to in order to post it.

PAT PROCELL (the service department manager) in the service department was very rude to me calling me you people (as in blacks) I took my car in for a recall that only took 30 minutes to an hour to fix and they kept my car 3 days so mr.pat told me all I had to do was submit him a 5 star review and he would provide me with a refund which he NEVER game to me causing me to not have any money to pay for my kids daycare that week ... I called him on today for him to tell me he doesn’t have to refund me my money .. They are unprofessional, if I had a dog that could drive a vehicle I wouldn’t recommend him to the dealership... Looks like I will be switching to Chevy as of this month

I went to several dealerships and the best deals were at Roundtree Ford. My sales woman greeted me as I exited my vehicle. She was helpful and courteous during the whole process. The vehicle I purchased has a few small cosmetic flaws on it and the General Manager was helpful in getting the process started on the repairs, at their cost.

I called the service number list on the Rountree Ford website & scheduled an appointment to have two recalls done on my escape. It took me 20 mins on the phone to make the appointment. I showed up at the day & time of my appointment to find out I did not actually have an appointment. The service representative at Rountree stated that the number I called (the local number listed on the Rountree website) is for a call center. Appointments made through the call center, for recalls, do not show up in their system. He was helpful & I was able to get my recalls fixed but instead of an appointment with same day service, my car had to stay overnight & be fit in. Update: While Rountree Ford responded to my review asking me to contact them for more information, no one has responded to the email I sent in reply.

I never heard back from the service person Victor. Call him several time but could not leave a message because his voice mail was full. I dropped my car off @ 7:30 am and did not get a call back until 5:00 pm and the car was not even looked at. I ended up picking my car up and took it to another dealership. The car was never repaired. I have two Fords and I will never be coming back to Round Tree ever again,

Terrible customer service. Took my car in for an oil change. They kept it bc the engine was making a Noise. Called for four days straight to get an update. They never looked at it. On the 5th day I called that morning and it was still not looked at so I had to take it somewhere else. Will never go back.

Matthew Perry is very knowledgeable, respectful, and patient person. He has firsthand experience with many cars and the difference between engine types, etc. He is able to explain complex mechanisms, at a basic level for his Customers; yet, he is never condescending. Always, polite and courteous. He is a 5-star salesman! Bo Free, Sales Manager, is top-notch and continues to be persistent for his Clients. I wanted a Pre-Owned Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, in exchange for my Volvo S60. Every time we found the “perfect” fit; it had just sold. Bo was able to offer a Pre-Owned & Pre-Certified car with a 100,000 mile total warranty. The car was a sporty Lincoln MK-Z right off the Roundtree lot. I’d never before considered driving a Lincoln. But, if Actor Matthew McConaughey can advertise & drive the comfortable and sporty Lincoln, then so can I. The GM (Kelly) of Rountree is a perfect gentleman and made our day very pleasant. Ten Stars! The only reason I ranked my overall experience a 4/5 was due to the following: A) The computer technology should update throughout the day and remove cars, as they are sold. Add newly available cars, the same way. B) Wait time was entirely too long for Buyers with Excellent credit. We were there from 9am - 7pm. C) Finance area needs to streamline their process. Please have ALL the details finalized before inviting a Client into this last stage. Time matters. Don’t irritate Clients that are ready to go. If the papers were shuffled one more time, I’d scream! Please use the sticky arrows to note signatures and STOP re-organizing & re-paper clipping documents. I’ve been through 4 Mortgage Procedures that were less stressful. This area alone rated: -1 star The Finance Department cost the entire dealership a potential 5-Star Rating. Note to GM: Your attention is needed in Finance Lorraine P. June 11, 2019

Made an appointment for a tire rotation. Took off work. Drove 45 min. Only to be told after I arrived that it’s a two hour wait. Was told that appointments are for drop offs....SMH. Don’t need an appointment to drop off a vehicle...Called another ford dealership while in the waiting room and made an appointment for the time it would take me to get there and they took care of my truck.

First I called this morning because I was going to be later then the scheduled appointment time I had made last week. come to find out I wasn't on the schedule for today. Zach failed or neglected to put me on the schedule. I made it there at 10:15 and finally go on the computer around 10:40 ish. I was told the job would be done in 2 hours. At 12:40 I decided to checkup and see how things were going and Zach said "fine" "They were going to drive it around to test the completion of the job when they finished installing the breaks. I then asked him about washing the windows and he said "they dont just wash windows they would have to wash the entire vehicle." So I agreed to the entire wash. Around 1:15 I called him on the phone and told him I was on my way back to pick up my vehicle and he said okay. I returned about 1:45 and waited for him and low and behold he came to the front of the waiting area and asked me to sign the papers and there was no monetary amount and I asked him why not and he stated as he was starting to walk away, "They hadn't done the work on it because he was tied up on another truck." Now don't you think this entire situation could have been handled much better than this? What would you have done?

When rountree an other dealership's add on 3$ for every oil change calling it shop supplies that's a scam and a racket most of time they dont even need such items even if they did it wouldn't be 3$ worth a piece let's say they do 200 oil changes a day think of how many people they are robbing it adds up tell me how a 29.99$ special ends up 40$ every time up selling sales tax 35$ I could understand

Service writers Joe and Trista are great! No issues there! Issue was with tech actually performing the work on car. He could not follow instructions given by the service writer. Don't rotate tires. He rotates tires and has to undo it. Told not to change oil, he drains oil. Causing dealership to have to order in oil that I use and do it for free. On top of that, he dribbles oil all over the engine compartment. I was in for a 90 minute checkup and it ended up taking 3.5 hours. Again, not the service writers fault. They did their jobs correctly. Technician just doing what he thinks needed doing instead of reading actual work order.

Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because when I initially showed up to drop off vehicle there were 4 representatives sitting at there desk. All 4 saw me walk in and there were no others customers. It literally took me 5 to 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge I was there. If it were busy I would understand but I was literally the only person there. However the service after this was really great and they handled my vehicle problem promptly!

I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape in February. Since then my vehicle has been having mechanical issues which Rountree has been made aware of. My vehicle has spent more time in their service department than in my driveway. I still have issues with my car shutting off and the service department has admitted that they can’t fix it. I’ve spoken to the manager in both sales AND service and no one will fix the issue or put me in another dependable vehicle. Seeking legal actions as we speak. But I would NEVER recommend anything from Rountree.

Ford made in USA. Techs/mechanics NOT trained properly to handle forced to hold vehicle for days while calling Ford hotline to resolve issue. Only to find charged for (labor) $945 to simply PULL A FUSE OUT!! After purchasing 2 vehicles in 2014 a week apart, their finance mgr conned us to adding TWO/2 additional maintenance packages to cover everything bumper to bumper, included in monthly payment AND WAS TOLD THERE WOULDN'T BE A CHARGE FOR THIS, as it DID EFFECT workmanship/was stranded with having to be JUMPED in a NEW push button start vehicle that are apparently KNOWN FOR DRAINING BATTERIES according to Triple A/AAA. Heaven help if they have bells n whistles on a battery then the running/operating system on separate battery!! That's just too much like right!

On Saturday, 22 November it took teo and a half hours to get my oil changed, tires rotated and new windshield wipers put on. The customer rep said they lost my keys for 45 minutes. Oh, and they put the wipers on incorrectly (The wipers have a length difference, longer one on drivers side shorter one passenger side), they have them switched. Attention to detail is lacking

Came by with a safety recall notice and was told they can never see me in the afternoons and would have to miss work to drop off in the mornings for something that “shouldn’t take very long”. Meanwhile close to a dozen employees just say around on their phones. Hope my steering wheel bolt doesn’t fall off before I can find a dealership that can help after 4pm!

My car is still not running right when I took my car in it was running fine I went for headlight recall and the gentleman said I needed tires and a tune up I said ok if I could have have my car back by closing he said sure it was going go cost me about 1500. With tires and tune up I did not get get my car back until the next day and it was running so bad and smoking the state pulled me over on my way home I took it back to them I was told they could not do the tune because I had a leak and it was going to cost me another 1500.00 to 1700.00 to fix I ask for my car to be running back the way it was when I took it in they said unless I replace the parts it will not be running back the same so they put the part and was suppose to have fixed my car almost 1300.00 more and my car is still not running right check engine light back on I do not have anymore money to give them so I guess my car is not going to run right

I wouldn't let them pay me to work on my car. It wouldn't have been so bad if the young lady told me the truth about my car, but she didn't. And when I mentioned that's completely different than what she told me yesterday, she caught an attitude with me. Then they told me my car was ready but when I came to pick up my car, it wasn't driveable. I drove my car to you why are you giving it back to me in a non-driveable condition to drive away. And who wouldn't be furious about that. When I went to pick up my car. They had to jump it - said it had been sitting. Fine. But whatever they did is draining my battery. So I have to get a jump and I noticed, the oil filter says valvoline. So they charged me for an oil change they never did. So I take it back and the schedule a follow up to find out what's draining my electrical system because it's not my battery, the alternator or the starter. I missed it due to a family emergency. I called her FOUR TIMES. She didn't return 1 phone call. I drove up there she had an entire attitude about me scheduling an appointment and deflecting on to whether or not they actually caused the issue I'm having. I was so done. I just as soon pay someone else than to have them fix their mistake because they are horrible to deal with.

My experience was okay. I was told by the service advisor that I wouldn't need the coupon for a 29.95 works and they charged me 48 and some change for the oil change and tire rotation. I need this particular issue fixed. I normally get fantastic service but Saturday was not one of those days.

Absolutely terrible service. It took a week for the service department to return my car for a simple issue that I could have done myself. I'm not even sure the issue has been fixed since they couldn't locate the problem. The reps were hardly available or helpful. They also schedule service through third party in Houston which is not convenient.

I love ford and always owned a ford truck. However due to the customer service of Rountree I am reconsidering my loyalty to the brand. I own a 2016 f-250 with extended warranty and courteously rental, I bought this vehicle new from Rountree ford. Taking my car into service is an act of Congress when I need additional transportation. Also ford gives you a fiesta rather than a truck unless you pay and additional $40.00. Service advisors are melancholy, don’t communicate well, and are generally not helpful or informative. Due to Various electrical issues my vehicle is in the service department more than I would like. Just when things seem they cannot get any worse at Rountree I am always surprised by the lack of service, professionalism, and knack for not wanting to take responsibility for legitimate warranty issues. It’s a constant exhausting battle. Recently the hitch outlet on my truck malfunctioned and I was told warranty would not cover it. In attempt to avoid a conflict I paid almost $300 to get it replaced and got an after marker non OEM part. This was the final straw that sparked this review.

You don't even deserve one star because you have worked on my car three times for the same problem and after you supposedly fixed it the last time, it broke down on me in Kilgore, Texas and I had to put it in the dealership there which by the grace of God, I managed to get it there and that they even had a dealership there since it's a tiny farm town. I'm tired of breaking down and struggling with this car. You either don't know how to fix it or you just don't want to fix it. I think it's the latter. I had to rent a car and it's costing me so much money that I can't afford. I thought you got it right this time. But just the same old lies and cheating. Shame on you!

I brought my car into Rountree Ford Lincoln in Shreveport, LA, to repair a few problems with the wiring, and program a fob replacement. I was met by Joe West. He made me feel like he was very interested in my problems and made me feel like I wasn’t just a number. Even though he was a new employee in the service department, he took the time to address my concerns and was very helpful. I will ask for him again, should I need to use the service department in the future.

Regarding the service / parts department - I have a 2012 Ford Focus with ~100k miles, has received most maintenance and repairs at Rountree. They've done a good job overall. The service advisors range from average to great, I usually have a better experience with Trista and Heather. In terms of quality of work, the technicians do fine work and I feel confident bringing my vehicle here. However, wait times are long (dealership is busy and Fords aren't the most reliable), and when I needed transmission repair I had an easier time just going to Hixson Ford in Monroe, as Rountree transmission service seems perpetually backed up for several days. Still, for my Ford vehicle, Rountree has kept it operating nicely and safely.

I made an appointment for no reason. It was a waste of time. I was told when I made the appointment it should take bout 3-4 hrs to complete. Whoever I dropped my truck off to scratched down on a note pad what to look at but it was not formally written up and then took 6 days to get a quote. The lady that called wasn’t even told I had a warranty so she had to check on that and didn’t call me back. I had to call them to check on things and then was told it would be another 3-4 days to complete work. They then told me they had to receive payment from my warranty before I could pick it up. So my 3-4 hr job was 13-14 days. I had no idea I would be waiting for 2 weeks. Once it was picked up I realized the guy with the note pad didn’t pass along all the work needed to be done and now it’s not complete. Totally unacceptable!

Dropped vehicle off Friday and need it to be serviced..was told that it would be Monday. Monday comes ad heather never called and updated me Tuesday comes and I had to go personally and check on the status because I kept getting the run around. The only reason this isn't rated lower is because Paul and Trista were excellent in handling the debacle and got me out the next morning after speaking with them!

I had to wait 3 weeks for a simple diagnostic test, and was then told I would have to pay $5200 to get it repaired. My service rep stopped answering the phone for me ,and I had to start talking to a service manager. If I could give 0 stars, I seriously would. I would not recommend them to anybody who wants to receive decent service. You are much better off with an independent mechanic.
