I recently purchased a car from here and my experience with Rami was excellent! I was searching for a specific model and style vehicle and was willing to go anywhere in the U.S. to buy it. Motorcars Louisiana was one of 10 different dealerships that I had initial communications with. It was apparent that Rami wanted to "earn my business". Many of the other individuals I was communicating with (from other dealership) did not take the time to personalize their emails and build a level of rapport and trust with me (ie. they just wanted to make a quick sale). IMO, there are several key factors that separates good dealerships from great dealerships; MCL gets a 10 out of 10 in all of these categories: 1) High quality product. MCL's selection is pristine. Look at their website and you will see what I mean. Most if not all of their cars are well-upgraded, in great condition, and beautifully detailed. 2) Marketing - there are lots of high-quality pictures (taken with the proper amount of care and respect. 3) People - If everything else is equal, the tiebreaker is the people that you deal with. Rami was responsive on email, courteous, and a genuinely nice gentleman. When I finally met him in person, I felt like I knew him already. I also met Alex who was super friendly and a pleasure to speak. I never formally met the young woman that sat between Rami and Alex, but she was super sweet as well. I even briefly spoke with some of the staff in the back doing the detailing and it was clear they had a high level of pride and respect in the vehicles they were caring for. MCL will absolutely be on short list of places I will buy a car from in the future!

I flew in from Detroit to purchase a Lotus from Import Star. The total buying experience was fantastic. Before leaving and making the purchase Import Star answered all of my questions and concerns and was very clear on the condition of the vehicle to ensure that I understood what I was getting into. There was nothing wrong with it outside of the normal wear-and-tear of a high mileage vehicle and what minor things there were they were very clear and up-front and honest with me. They took great care of the vehicle while it was in their possession. When I traveled down to pick up the car, they were incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and even picked me up at the airport in a gorgeous vehicle!! VIP treatment the whole way. I am incredibly satisfied with the service and professionalism of the Import Star team and the care and attention they pay to their vehicles and customers. It was a fun trip back to Detroit!! The best car buying experience I’ve ever had! I spoke with Rami a few days prior to coming into the dealership. He was very accommodating and gave a thorough rundown of the vehicle. I flew to Baton Rouge from South Carolina to see the vehicle and it was in perfect condition and ready for a test drive. Rami gave me more than enough time to inspect the vehicle and made the purchase process seamless! It literally took less that 2 hours from the time I stepped through the doors until I drove off the lot. My wife and I found a used Lexus RX 350 online on their website. There was a ton of pictures of the vehicle and all of them were high quality. There was also a bunch of information on the car as well as a carfax report. We reached out to Alex via e-mail to schedule an appointment and touch base with him regarding the car. We showed up to the dealership right on time and Alex was there to greet us. It is a climate controlled building that was very clean and welcoming. We took a look at the car, inside and out -- started it up, made sure all of the important features were in good working condition. There was no pressure at all to buy. Alex left us completely alone to look over the car and discuss whether we wanted to move forward. He came back to us every so often to inquire whether we had any questions or needed anything. We decided we wanted to take it for a test drive before moving forward. We took it for a test drive with Alex and the car drove great. We got back from the test drive, quickly worked a deal, and we were in and out in no time. He also coordinated with the Lexus dealership to get an additional key fob / programming done. It was a GREAT experience and such a smooth transaction. It's nothing like any other 'dealership' I've ever dealt with. No pressure, no games. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I will definitely speak with Alex the next time I'm looking for another car.

My wife and I shopped the internet using a 200 mile radius search filter and visited several dealerships unfortunately all the inventory was not up to par until we located Rami at MOTORCARS LOUISIANA. We were both sceptical until the moment we walked in. Rami greeted us in a very professional manner. He didn't push or recommend other vehicles that we did not inquire about. I just purchase a vehicle from Import Star/Blex, and I am extremely pleased with my experience! I worked with Alex, and his level of service was above and beyond my expectations. He stayed late for us to test drive the vehicle and to appraise my trade, he was extremely helpful with my loan process, and he was very knowledgable about the vehicles offered for sale. Beyond that, the business as a whole is stellar. They only sell the highest-quality vehicles (mine is a one-owner, no accident, low-mileage SUV complete with dealer service records), their prices are fair, and their offer for my trade beat every other offer I had. I am not easy to please (see my reviews of other businesses), but I certainly recommend Import Star to anyone looking for a vehicle!

Never pressured me into buying any car from them. They also found a bank that was offering an interest rate of 1.9%. So I ended up saving on the car and the bank loan!!
