I had my vehicle serviced at Moss Motors today 11/29/18. I arrived promptly on time at 8 a.m., and upon arrival was greeted by all three smiling BMW Customer Service advisors. My advisor was friendly, courteous and incredibly professional in demeanor, and she saw to it that the service was quickly completed and my vehicle washed and vacuumed. She requested the brakes to be "bled" and oil changed as part of warranty maintenance. In the meantime, while waiting for the work to be completed, I had two cups of the fresh and delightful vanilla cappuccino at the coffee bar. There were also snacks, as well as canned soft drinks and bottled water for clients to enjoy. Oh, and as I waited several employees came by the waiting room, including one of the salespersons and the BMW Service Manager, just to say "hello." I hadn't been in the dealership for some time, so their smiling faces and low-key and kind demeanor made me feel as though I was back home. Weird, but I can hardly wait to visit Moss BMW again. I asked for new gas cap a couple visits ago. Nothing happened. I went in and asked only for that and it was ordered because the tether was broken. Waiting for delivery. Car wash, vacuum was discontinued, I thought it was because my service advisor wasn't carrying through. Finally sent a text learning that the car wash was sold with the Honda dealership, YIPPEEEEEE! No one had told me. I really think Mrs. Moss should consider buying a new one to continue their excellent service. Service advisors are pretty great about staying on top of things and I do appreciate their attention to detail and speedy service

DONT GO HERE FOR BMW SERVICE. This place is a scam. My gas tank would only fill halfway, so I paid $1,000 to have the problem fixed. The problem wasn't fixed and on top of that I brought it back and they tried to charge me $2,000 dollars to fix it AGAIN. The representatives didnt even bat an eye, they don't care at all about you or your car. I hope people read this because THIS PLACE IS A SCAM BE ADVISED. Also, the service manager was horrible, and again, he doesn't care about you or your car at all - JUST $$$$

All’s well that ends well. Let me start by saying that Kevin Boullard was professional and determined to find the root of the problem and fix it. I first brought my car there a couple of months ago and it turned out that I needed a new head unit. When I was driving home I discovered that the satellite radio still wasn’t working properly. I live about 1 1/2 hours away in Lake Charles so bringing it back wasn’t very convenient, but I did. The satellite radio went out AGAIN while I was driving home for the 2nd time (although it was working when I left your shop), I brought it back again, and the same thing happened for a third time. It was a lot of back and forth, several days of missed work. When I brought it back the 3rd time, I also needed some work done to my brakes, and Kevin promised that he would not give it back to me again until he was certain it was fixed. He gave me a loaner (which I loved, and now I hate my car

I dropped my vehicle off at 8:15 am. I received a call at 11 with a quote for tires which I told her to proceed with the new tires. I receive a call at 3 asking if I want to do tires. Which again I replied yes. I went to the dealership at 4 to meet with salesperson about a vehicle exchange program that they called me about. After meeting with the salesperson I decided to forgo the Exchange at this time because it was not the exact vehicle I wanted. I sat and waited in the waiting area for my vehicle. Which they said would be another 30 min. At 5:45 I was told my vehicle was on wash and wouldn’t be long but my invoice was ready for Payment. After paying for My service and tires I waiting again. Finally at 6:50 I walk back to the service to check and the whole department was closed. Not a person in sight and lights turned off. I went to the salesman that I had met with to ask him to see about my car. He and sales manager went to find my car which had been ready for over an hour in the wash stall. I was so mad I was in tears when I left. The sales staff was very helpful.

The work performed was done excellent. Problem is I had a 10 am appointment, my car was not brought to be serviced until 11:30 am, my car was returned to me at 12:30 pm, a total of 2 1/2 hours. If there was a backup in servicing, I should have been notified to come in later or reschedule for another day since it was for just a maintenance service.

Everyone was very polite and most accommodating. I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment and I arrived early so the service department took my car as soon as I got there. The waiting area is very comfortable and they offer coffee, soft drinks, water and snacks while you wait. I didn’t have to wait long before the service department was finished. They washed and vacuumed my car for me while I was there. Everything was great.

Very knowledgeable sales personnel, with clear explanations of features. If they didn't have an immediate answer, they said they would find out - and did. We ordered a custom car to be built to our requirements and it was delivered exactly as ordered 30 days later. The sales associate Van Gardner frequently checked on the expected arrival date, and alerted me immediately upon its arrival. And then explained all the essential features and setting me up an appointment with a "BMW Genius" to go into detail on all the new high-tech stuff. Moss Motors particularly stands out as a model of competence, integrity and honesty, with no hidden charges, no high pressure sales, no misleading statements, and prices that are fair to the customer, and fair to the dealership. When I went to pay, they told me the documentation fees were slightly less than they estimated, so the final price came down a small amount below what we had agreed! This has been by far the most pleasant and satisfying car purchase experience I have ever had in 40+ years. It was more than worth the two hour roundtrip drive from my home. Ask for Van Gardener and sales manager Robert Ray.

Service was just basic service. They left off valve stem caps and tried to convince me that air pressure loss of over 10lbs twice in the last 6 months was because of sessional change. If so why didn’t all the tires loose air. The service rep just didn’t want to deal with it or they don’t get paid by BMW for that type of work. Also good luck in calling. I have had to call several times to get someone in service to answer.

I usually have great experiences with Moss BMW but my last visit was not. All I needed done was an oil change, inspection, and a tire patch for a nail that penetrated the left rear tire. This took all day! I was one of the first customers there at 7:30am and was called at 5:20pm and told my car was ready and that they close at 6pm. All day long for that and they still couldn’t find time in almost 12 hours to run my car through their automatic car was. Moss BMW, you really disappointed me today.

Went in for an oil change. From then on I had an oil leak. They tried to fix it 3 different time, charging me $800. I had to pay cause they said that it wasn't related to the oil change. Oh, by the way, my alternator went out while there for the third trip to fix the oil leak. That alone was $800. After that I brought it to a radiator and the mechanic fixed the oil leak for $24. The mechanics here work on commission and damaged my car when nothing was wrong.

It took 3 1/2 hours for an oil change, and a diagnostic check. The fluids were supposed to have been checked, but the wiper fluid is still low. I was very dissatisfied with this. The employees are very polite, helpful and professional.

I had a 9:30am appointment on Thursday, so I dropped off my car at 9:33am. I was told that I would be called with updates and that the car would be ready that same evening before closing. No one called. When I called BMW service at 5pm, I was asked to leave a message and that someone would call me back soon. I called again at 5:30pm, since I did not receive a call back. I was placed on hold for about 10minutes. At 5:55pm, I was informed that my car had not been worked on at all and that they were too busy all day long. When I asked for a loaner, I was informed that they did not have any. I needed the car on Friday, as I had family flying in from out of town. I had informed Ashley of my need of the car on Friday when I dropped off the car. I just wish Ashley would have called me to tell me that they were too busy to work on my car on that day. I would have picked up my car on Thursday and scheduled an appointment for another day. No apology extended for such poor service or the waste of my time when I picked up my car on Friday morning.

Service department intentionally unplugged 2 vacuum hoses I personally found (today 7/28/19). BMW would be interested to know I will not be owning a BMW any longer primarily due to this service department. I am posting this because the text I recieved landed me on this platform to review. I brought the car in, dropped off on Wednesday night without an appointment, to have an error code read. The car was not having any performance issues. When it drove off the lot, it now takes an extensive time frame to get to any particular speed. As if a governor is in place, likely the part they said needed fixing is not working at all. Getting to 20 mph takes 15-20 seconds. Again, the only problem was the error code that had been going on and off for a couple of weeks. In addition, poor handling of the followup left me without a vehicle, unplanned, for the length of a hurricane. I contacted and some to two people on two occasions on Thursday, no movement or projected time expectations. Friday morning at 11am I received a call with issues explained. Tried calling back all afternoon. No answer. Again Monday, no answer. They had closed for the weekend early, noon Friday, due to storm and was also closed Monday I was later told and due late notice provided to the employees, they were unable to get with me to let me know they would be closing up.... All without notice, I would not be having my vehicle, even though a storm was coming, for an unknown period of time. Per promise of the manager when the car would go back in (this visit), which I had included on the ticket request, they would fix the dent in the door from the last visit. This was due to them not being able to clarify whether or not an employee used my car during the weekend that it stayed at the shop. Gps had a random address plugged in a few miles away, milage differences matched that distance. The dent was not taken out. Presumably this same stay, it came back with a 51-71-7-180-318 CROSSBRACE FRONT RIGHT missing, which I had to identify when I started noticing the car came back with heavy vibrations. I purchased and installed myself later when I figured it out. I didn't want to fight with them when I found this... but this past couldn't have just fallen off and they have been the only one in tears servicing the car. Order from parts department can verify. Lastly, the car was not delivered as promised on Tuesday, again still closed on Monday due to storm... I had work on Monday and had to borrow a vehicle to use. When someone went pick it up on Wednesday, it took 10 minutes before staff stopped talking about what alcoholic beverages they wanted and acknowledged. Then, my pickup person was charged for all of this, which I would have highlighted the entire situation if I would have know they thought they actually provided any value to do so. Nor was any cost associated discussed when we spoke if having it delivered. Seems like some of this was intentional instead of addressing when contacted. Unfortunately, these things need to come to light if this dealership cares to continue going forward, even though my name and account will be tied to it. Itmay have been a number of situations unrelated and unintentional that has lead to the outcome, either way they should be addressed by the correct and qualified personnel. But the experience has led me to the point where, I will have the car fixed else where and will be leaving the BMW family.

Paid 1500.00 for repair, after I got home realized they left parts off my car and didn't refill the transmission after changing cooling lines, had to come to my house and fix it. It was not driveable. Very hard to get to talk to anyone there.

I brought my car in to have my oil checked as the oil light came on and a message appeared that the oil was critically low and driving it could damage my engine. I brought it in and the girl at the service desk immediate told me that I was not due for an oil change because the key fab told her so. I told her that the light was on but she was condescending and apparently knew better. I left my car the entire day . I was assured by the same young lady that they had checked my oil and they always top it off. I left and the oil light cane on. I brought it back and apparently no one had even checked the oil. I believe that the young lady never bothered to tell the service people about my oil light coming on. I use my car for business. I have no desire to waste time arranging for transportation which is a huge inconvenience. This young lady was very condescending and of course became apologetic when she realized her mistake. I am in the market for another car this year and an Audi is looking real good right about now.

Service representative was very nice and not at fault for my average rating. Not sure what happened but I went in Monday, December 3rd to shown need for two new tires which had egg on sidewalls. Was given a 1pm appointment for Thursday, 3 days later. After waiting over 1 hour in waiting room, I was then told they did not have my tires in stock. Should this not have been checked and ordered Monday as it was evident I needed two tires? Even so, why have me wait for 1 hour? I was told to bring in car the next Friday after 10am as tires would be delivered. I dropped off car at 10am and when I personally called back after lunch around 130 was told they had not started yet. Pretty frustrating and not the quality service I get from Lexus.
