Just got home from having my car in for an oil change. I should have looked before I drove off the lot, but that's on me. The man at the time of receiving my vehicle asked if I wanted my tires rotated in addition to my oil change. I said yes, but it's clear it wasn't done. Charged me for "The Works" which includes an inspection and tire rotation and oil change. I know tires weren't rotated because I have one tire that's different from the others and it's still in the same spot, yet they even marked one tire as wearing quicker than the others. Isn't this the point of a tire rotation? To have the tires wear more even? So when you see that one is wearing faster, shouldn't you rotate them? Apparently common sense is gone. Even if you're paying for a service. Don't even get me started on the wait time.

The service department is definitely on target. Every time I bring my Lincoln in for service, they explain what needs to be done to keep me safe and on the road. Happy they let me know about my tires, they were dry rotted and needed to be replaced. I feel good knowing they are keeping my vehicle in good condition. GOOD JOB!

When I first arrived to the Ford service garage, I was approached but Natasha. She was very professional and pleasant. She thoroughly explained everything that was going to take place with my vehicle, walk around, etc. She patiently answered all of my questions. I had to leave my vehicle overnight and was called by Natasha the next day to tell me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Natasha walked me over to the cashier and reviewed all of the service charges with me bf I signed the sales receipt. Her mannerism was very pleasant and engaging. She waited with me while my car was being retrieved from the service lot. She did a great job as a customer service representative. Where do i really start? First of all, the salesman was very cordially and detailed in his explanation, showing us (my wife and I) the various available cars at the price we were able to afford. Actually, we wanted a used, 3rd row seated with a V6 engine. Kudos, the salesman encourage to buy the Buick Enclave cxl, and whoa it was a good choice. Secondly, the paper work went well without much ado. The financing part of the car was not bad, and frankly it would help me build my credit; it was in a fair score (but Ford gave me another the opportunity to fix it). Thirdly, the car was all I expected; despite being a used car it was clean, everything inside looked new and works well. My family loved this Buick enclave, it is a family friendly car. Hey, folks if you need a nice ride, lots of space and a smile on everyone in the car, go for a Buick enclave. Thanks Ford for the right choice.

This is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. I attempted to purchase a car here. I gave them a $1,500 deposit with the agreement for them to remove some minor scratches from the car. After failing to get the car up to my standards they tried to force me to purchase another car I wasn't interested in instead of returning my deposit. I never took possession of the car and the car is now currently back up for sale on their website. After receiving better service at Matt Bowers Nissan the manager Mike lied to them and said I damaged their car which is why they are refusing to return my deposit. There's no way I can damage a car I never had possession of. I've had to contact an attorney to get my money back. Please DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!! They will lie and cheat and that is not good business.

Matt Bowers certainly does not have your back. I am certain they sold us this Armada knowing it had engine problems. They called multiple times the day we were coming to look at it, to "see what time we would be there, so they could make sure they had a salesman available for us". After leaving the dealership with the vehicle, and upon starting the vehicle after it sat for awhile (a few hours), a ton of smoke came from the tail pipe. This is the reason they wanted to know the exact time we expected to get there. They needed to start the vehicle not long before we got there so that it would not smoke. I contacted Matt Bowers Ford about this multiple times and have not received any kind of help in this situation. We were sold a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty with the car, so we took the vehicle to Matt Bowers Nissan since they said we would not have to pay a deductible if we did. The warranty company wanted the dealership to take the heads off the engine so they could inspect it before authorizing repairs. The dealership did this and then the warranty company denied the claim saying there is excessive carbon buildup in the engine which has caused the rings to not seal properly. We noticed the vehicle smoking the same day we left the dealership with it. We had to wait 45 days for the warranty to kick in. This carbon did not happen in 45 days, much less on the very same day we left the dealership. We were sold this vehicle in this condition. We have been given nothing but the run around, and now have a $ 20,000 pile of junk which is financed. Matt Bowers will never get my business again. This review will be posted on every page I can find on the internet to post it. It will also be reported to the Better Business Bureau, the Louisiana Attorney General and we are exploring legal actions.

I traded in my car on August 8th. The dealership had to pay off my vehicle and I was financed a Ford Edge with another Bank. Forty days later, on September 18th, they paid off the wrong vehicle! I had two cars in my name and they paid off the wrong one. When they realized it, they decided they did not want to pay off the car I traded in, so they made me come back in, they took the Edge from me and made me take my car back. They then said it was partially my fault! They do this for a living! They are supposed to know what they are doing. They then proceeded to blame me. How do you blame the customer because your finance guy paid the wrong bank?! They sell cars all day long, they are supposed to send the check to the correct bank, that was not my fault. They will get that check back, so they will have their money. Now my car I traded in has sat on their lot for forty days and I am responsible for those back payments, which are now 60 days over due and about to be repossessed. I have had three knee replacements and I needed an SUV. Now I am back in a small car that is hard and painful to get out of, and two car notes behind. This was the most horrible experience of my life! Especially when he blamed me!

My car buying experience was fast and painless. I recently brought my car back for routine oil change and was equally as satisfied. The oil change was quick and a great deal. They checked everything and even put air in my tires. The mechanics were super friendly and answered all my questions. I will definitely be using Vets Ford for all my mechanical needs.

NOT GOOD 3 different occasions horrible customer service . My daughters car needed a recall , they cant get to it. I needed a tire and they told me a week and joked about it, the service manager Brian had to get involved, he was great, and my daughter has a problem with the steering wheel and they answered the phone threw pricing at her and told her they couldn’t even get to her for a long period of time. I’ve never waited 12 hours for a tire change in my life. I told these folks that I wanted the front tire changed and left my car. Luckily I ubered home. It took them the NEXT DAY And they still weren’t done! This wasn’t a weekend but a fracking Tuesday. I just told them to cancel it and took it to Goodyear around the block. Took them 2 hours . Thank you Ford, you lost your future consumer of your cars when this 2012 Fusion will be expired in a couple years.

Made plenty of promises to get me to buy my 2 vehicles. Service department is a joke. Service advisor and manager made promises that were never kept, Received my vehicle back from a warranty repair covered in bird feces and was never washed despite promises to clean it. Contacted Dealership president about issues only to never receive a response about horrible service. Service advisor started to yell at me when I became upset with service level on a return visit and acted childish about when they would be able to repair my vehicle. Finished with Vets Ford.

Needed new tires of my F150. Ms. Debbie in service was so nice and honest. Found that there was a recall on a door latch. She came and told me about it. She was honest and told me because of the work load it wouldn’t be ready until that afternoon. That was fine by me. I always anticipate that unless I am just getting a quick service like an oil change to make arrangements for the day. Ms. Debbie offered me the complimentary shuttle but I didn’t need it. She called me twice with updates throughout the day and it was actually finished much quicker than I anticipated. She explained all the findings in the inspection on my arrival and broke down my bill. They were actually $200 cheaper than the actual tire place I had gotten a quote from the day before so that was cool. I was very impressed with my experience at Matt Bowers Ford and will bring my business there from now on.

I bought a new Eco Sport and paid a fair price. I also got a decent amount for my trade in. The interest rate on the loan was also reasonable. Leon (sales), Ricky (manager) and Anthony (finance) all did a super job. Hopefully I will continue to receive 5 Star service in the future when I bring the Eco Sport in for anything (I will write another review at that time).

I dropped my wife’s Ford Edge off with Natasha and was told it would be a couple days before they were able to get to it. It was making a rattling sound when driving. Natasha called me early in the morning to let me know it didn’t look good. She could tell that I wasn’t at all expecting what was wrong to be wrong. As a mechanically inclined person I couldn’t believe what she was saying. When I got to the dealership ( hot ) the service director Chris was waiting on me. They knew that I had experienced bad service with the previous owners and wanted to make sure that I didn’t have that same experience. Chris walked me through everything. I had to eat crow. I was wrong and knew it but they were so helpful that I ended up get several things done plus new tires. I would recommend them. Ps don’t use one of those 3 minute oil change places. The few extra dollars from dealer is worth it.

My experience at Matt Bowers dealership in Metairie initially went extremely well. My sister and I experience with the product specialist Mr. Jeff Tracey was very nice. He was humble, calm, patient and very respectful to us. He didn’t try to force a car on me in which I had no interest in. He actually listened to me and allowed me to select a vehicle of my choice. He road with us while I test drove the vehicle and the exchange of conversations was genuine. Overall I really appreciate Mr.Tracey patience in assisting me. Unfortunately, as a result of (1 ) previous financial hardship on another vehicle which is on my credit report, I was not able to get the vehicle I desire to get today. I figured since my credit score was at least over 650, just maybe I could’ve got a nice vehicle, in which I could better afford considering my current gross monthly income. The only reason I gave this business 1 star overall is because, when I checked my email, I learned, the same man I watch received my personal information from Mr. Jeff, enter it into the Matt Bowers Ford data system, in an attempt to get me into the car of my choice, made a total of 11 hard inquiries on credit report back to back, from 10:37am up until 10:49am which reduces my credit scores tremendously. I only agreed to have my credit report ran once. There is absolutely no need for anyone who works at Matt Bowers Ford dealership to make an excessive amount of hard inquiries on my credit report or anybody else’s simply because one seek to purchase a vehicle there. It is disheartening to now know, sales representative of Matt Bowers Ford in Metairie, really abused potential customers personal information. I really wish I could attach my proof here, just so others could see I didn’t just make this story up.

Before Matt Bowers purchased this dealership, my husband and I bought a car from the previous owner. We literally told that salesperson we wanted a specific car in a different color. They located that car in Georgia ensuring us that it was exactly what we wanted. When the car arrived, the features my husband specifically wanted were not in the car. I wasn't aware of this at the time as I wasn't privy to the entire conversation. My husband was out of town when the vehicle arrived. The salesperson told to sign for the car and come back the next day because the dealership was busy, and he would show me the features that allegedly were supposed to be in the car at that time. That never happened. When my husband found out the features were not in the car, he called the dealership multiple times to try to work this out. He even tried to speak with the owner, but his calls were never returned. This week, my husband took that car back to the dealership for its first oil change. He wasn't happy being back there. The receptionist inquired why he was upset and told him he should speak to the manager, Jake Graffagnini. Not only did Jake express his disdain for what happened, he actually LISTENED to what my husband had to say and told him Matt Bowers Ford would do their best to make things right. He then had my husband speak with Brandon Thomas, an exceptional salesman, who also listened. Long story short: We now have the vehicle we wanted initially. Matt Bowers Ford fixed someone else's mistake. They impressed us so much. We have never experienced such concern and caring at a car dealership. We couldn't recommend Matt Bowers Ford more. If you're looking for a car or truck, please see Jake or Brandon. They will pay attention to your needs and make sure you leave completely satisfied. We recommend them highly.

Left my car for repairs but came back after the service shop had closed and realized my house keys were still on the key ring. The employees were incredibly polite and helpful in helping me to retrieve them from the shop, and managed to find and release the car to me so I didn't have to make a return trip. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely horrible. I was told 2 weeks when I brought the vehicle in, 4 1/2 weeks later they finally looked it only after I complained to corporate 3 times in one week. I towed my vehicle to a different mechanic and got left with a $200.00 bill for them telling me what I already knew was wrong. I cut my losses, don't make this mistake.

While I can't speak for the sales side of this organization, I'm greatly disappointed with the Service/Repair Side. I've repeatedly gone there as my truck has a few years on it, but is in great shape and has just over 100K miles. Last year they tried to charge me for brakes and the front brakes were still under warranty from the previous change. This year, they couldn't figure out the issues I was having with a metallic sound rubbing when the engine was cold. Kept the truck for over a week.... a buddy of mine who's not a mechanic told me to start using the 4wd each morning for a bit and see if that changed it. It fixed the issue. Each of these I was ok with until this year. Brought my truck in with a service light on, they explained it was throttle body and fuel module. They changed that for $1000+. It left me high and dry in the city 2 days later. I had the truck towed in by their suggested tow truck. they explained, it wasn't running well b/c they left the cold air intake filter off. but now it was missing. I had no problems but a warning light when i brought it in. This time, they said it was ignition wire (truck cranked fine), coil packs and spark plugs (spark plugs were close to 60K miles, so I agreed). had the truck back for 2 weeks and it started missing again. I hope I never have to use this service shop again. They tried to charge me for the tow truck, they did charge me for the extra labor it took to get the spark plugs out after they broke them in the process and have just been completely incompetent! Find another Ford place for repairs.

If you want your time and money wasted come to Vets Service. I dropped off the car in the morning , they called at 2p saying the car was done. But they didn't do the suspension which was the reason for bringing it in and I made an appt a week earlier. They didn't get to the car for another 10 days which cost me a lot of money for a car rental. I didn't want to leave a public review, I sent a letter to the owner expressing frustration and hoping we could split the cost of the rental as a compromise. He simply didn't care and was dismissive. Whats the point of setting and making appts. if they can't honor them? On top that 2 other mechanics diagnosed bad control arm bushings, Veterans said no its the something else. I went to the dealer because the bushings are a warranty item, the sway bar linkage they replaced is not a warranty item. The problem still exits..... thanks for nothing Vets Ford.

Warning: 1) Service quotes DO NOT include sales tax. I have never been to a mechanic who didn't quote the final price. This added a significant amount to what was already quite expensive, and when I mentioned this, all I got was attitude. 2) When I called and dropped off the car, no one told me about the $90 diagnostic fee either. Again, mechanics in the past have not charged me for this, particularly when it was a very quick diagnosis. All in all I felt very taken advantage of, and a little more communication or understanding would have gone a long way. I won't be back.

They recognized what happened (even took pictures) and informed me so I was able to have the body shop pay for the damage without question. It did take 3 weeks, but they seem very busy. Don’t bother even dropping your car off for service. They’ll take your car for the whole day, not call and tell you they can’t get to it. I called to get an update. They couldn’t even find me in the system. So they said they would call me back. No phone call. I called back, finally got an answer. So I had to go get my car with. No work done. I even made an appointment, which mean nothing. They kept my husband’s truck for 2 weeks and still didn’t get to his. Seriously, don’t bother!!

The paperwork and process of the deal was as simple and trusted as always. However, when I went infor final signing and finance, it was a total disaster! The purchase price was not what I was told. The note was over $100 higher than promised, and interest rates were increased by 2 points or more. I was displeased and walked away! It is one of the most ackward purchases I have ever had. I know the person I made the deal with, trust them without question, as they have never done me wrong in the past. That’s what a sales and customer relationship is! Finance on the the other hand seemed to be looking for their share of the deal and “shady” came to mind during the signing process.

**airbag issue** Matt Bowers Ford service department needs overall improvements: more staff, better leadership, better attitude when fixing defective airbags recalls issued from the manufacturer and please stop telling customers to come back next week. If I were buying a new car, would you want me to return next week because you were too busy? Probably not! Lastly, the service department director with the long last name met with me and was not willing to solve the problem even after I explained to him that this air bag issue is a Safety issue!

3 and a half week wait time for a repair(under warranty) to come back. Took my wife complaining to get a rental after 2 weeks of my vehicle being in the shop. Follow-up was almost nonexistent. When I finally did get my car back, the cupholder padding(where you would go to program the keyfob) was removed. I went to drive away and got a warning that there was no key detected. I called the shop asking what happened and was told they weren't sure and that they would contact me in the morning to let me know what the techs did that required them to open that compartment. I was never contacted. I'm glad we had a backup keyfob. The mechanic who was my main contact asked me not to answer the survey because he knew the service he provided was sub-par and I agree with his assessment.

We made an appointment to take our truck in for service and alarm system. We dropped the car off about a week ago and were told we would have the car back on Wednesday, then on Thursday, then on Friday. Now we're being told we won't have it back until Tuesday because the person who does the work won't be back until then. So why did we make an appointment and drop it off more than a week in advance?!?! We were looking forward to Matt Bowers new ownership but this might be the last time we go here!

I decided to leave my truck in their care, and to my surprise, not only was the problem detected within a day of inspection, but part was ordered and problem fixed within 2 days!! Had a 7:30 AM appointment with the Matt Bower’s Ford Service department to have a check engine light issue addressed. Arrived at 7:00 am (30 minutes before they opened) and got in line. There were 2 lanes of cars forming so I got in the right one and waited. When they opened the doors at 7:30 I noticed that only the left lane was being processed. I eventually worked my way into the left lane and spoke to a service rep. My first question to her was why are they only tending to cars in the left lane? Her reply was that the right lane was only for cars being dropped off over night. I asked her how was I (as well as the others idling in the right lane) supposed to know that as there is no signage. She had no response other than “sorry about that!” (Actually, there are banners hanging inside the service garage boldly identifying left and right service lanes!) Moving on to the reason I was there. I had to wait for another rep as the first rep I spoke to could only handle maintenance customers. After a few minutes another rep shows up. We discuss the check engine issue for a few minutes and he asks me if I was prepared to leave my truck overnight. I said yes and asked how long to expect. He replied 3-5 days. He also acknowledged that most of that time my truck would just be sitting there waiting for a mechanic to get to it. When I complained that 5 days was a long time to be without my car just to have it sitting on his lot his response was “that’s how we do it!” Given my issue wasn’t urgent and I couldn’t be without my truck this week I decided to leave. As I drove off I wondered what was the point of making a 7:30 AM appointment if they had no intention of getting to my truck for several days? Bottom line, Matt Bower’s Ford needs to reevaluate their customer service. Whether it was waiting in a service lane that was going no where or parking my car in their lot for days until it was serviced, neither of the reps I spoke to seemed at all concerned about the needs of the customer. The only reason they got 2 stars was because the reps, while not very helpful, were at least pleasant about the way they did it!

I purchased a new F-150 a couple months ago and was happy with the buying experience and so far I have liked my truck very much. The check engine light came on and I also had a recall on my truck so I took it in first thing last Saturday to have both items fixed. The service consultant I initially spoke with told me it could take a couple days when I dropped the truck off. I didn’t hear anything Saturday, I didn’t hear anything Monday and called and was told “the truck is scheculed to be diagnosed tomorrow (Tuesday). I didn’t hear anything Tuesday, I didn’t hear anything Wednesday and called and got no call back or status report from anyone. My girlfriend sent a message via Facebook Wednesday night and I got a call from a salesman around noon on Thursday, he was helpful and said to call him back if no one from the service department called by 3. I got a call from a differnet service consulatant and he said the truck was in the process of being serviced and I would be able to pick it up later in the day. Not having the vehicle was a mild aggravation, but not hearing so much as a peep from the service department for days on end tells me there is an institutional lack of concern for the customer. Many apologies have been made by the Matt Bowers staff and I know some of these are good people, however they will not get another shot from me. I will take my truck elsewhere to be serviced and will not buy another vehicle there no matter how good the deal is.

Highway Robbery! I went in for an oil change, after they were done, they told me I needed new front brake pads, quoting me at $350 for parts plus $100 for labor lol. Thinking that is way too high for front brake pads, I went and got a second opinion. The mechanic called me immediately to tell me I didnt need brake pads!!! I have up to 10,000 miles left on them!!! THIS DEALERSHIP TRIED TO ROB ME!! Excuse me, STEALERSHIP.... The trustworthy mechanic charged me $45 for taking up their time, so Ford on Vets owes me $45 for lying. Go there if you want dishonest work on your car!!
