If negative stars was an option this is where I would use it. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I have been a costumer for over a year. Kia of Covington has done all of my oil changes and services to my Kia. The first “mishap” was when I brought my car in for a recall notice. They were suppose to change a coupling in my steering column. They replaced it and a month later my steering wheel had a terrible knock in it. I brought it in and the gentleman that helped me played stupid and said that it must have been changed with a bad part. My second “mishap” was after one of my regular oil changes I picked my car up and it was filthy. Mud was all over the sizes of my car. The third “mishap” was yesterday. I picked my car up from the dealer after an oil change and this morning discovered it was leaking oil. I called to get in contact with the general manager only to be told that the managers schedule was not shared and they had no idea when he’d be back.
Wow what a fantastic dealership! This is what service is supposed to be like. Darius was amazing, funny and even dropped the new car off at my house! Their finance staff can work magic and is a pleasure to deal with. If you need a car this is the place to go!!

If you are in need of a vehicle, this is the place to go. Super friendly professional staff. They have a great selection of vehicles. They will work with and accommodate your needs. Kia also has superb warranties on their new vehicles ( even on some of their used ones). Can highly recommend
It's very clean. There's a nice waiting with phone charge stations. Couches are new and comfortable. There's also a tv in the waiting area that wasn't on but I'm sure they'll turn it on if you ask.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. This is my second visit to this dealership and all I can say is that they promise the world but deliver on nothing!! I was at work today, Wednesday, and was told to hurry to the dealership that they had ‘multiple deals’ ready for me to go with $2000 down. I was fine with this and I made the trip back across the lake to the dealership. After being at the dealership for nearly 2 hours, I was told that I did not qualify for a vehicle. My question is to my incompetent sales person… Why on God’s green earth would you have me drive across the lake and make it seem imperative to arrive in 30 minutes or less to purchase a vehicle when there was no such deal on the table!? I am furious with the incompetence of this place!! All I can say is that anyone looking for a good deal needs to STAY AWAY from this place because they will eventually mess you over in the end!! They are highly incompetent. I would go next-door to the Honda dealership, or two a Chevrolet dealership where the people have to know their stuff in order to sell a car. These people are beyond incompetent. I have a few choice words for them but I’m going take the highroad and stick with the adjective “incompetent” to describe them!!

Patrick Elroy of this dealership emails me damn near everyday wanting me to buy a vehicle. I finally decide to email back asking for information so I can decide my options. I don’t have the best credit and I explained this to him in my email. I asked him to just let me know if he could work with my current situation or if I should wait til after tax time to clear up my credit. This guy now will not return my email. I haven’t been bothered by him since. For future reference don’t aggravate someone every day if u have no intention on assisting them or even giving them some simple information. Guys not a good salesman. Don’t do business with Patrick!
Lots of vehicles on the lot. You can go on Sunday, undisturbed and check out the stickers and compare.

Buyer beware, everything seems great until you buy the car. I was charged fees that the dealer should have paid. They were supposed to call my city and did not (for the total) in order for me to update tags I had to pay the difference which was substantial

DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE. I was so excited to buy a vehicle for school. Saved for 10 months. Came to Kia of Covington 3 months after their grand opening. A representative named Mike Champagne scammed me. They did not have the vehicle I was eyeing originally so he showed me another I fell in love with. When I asked for the CarFax, he lied to my face when I asked him what the TCM recalls were for. Come to find out a week later my new car's transmission needed repairs. I had only driven it 7 times with 39,000 miles on it. Also, the rearview mirror just FELL OFF one day randomly. All within a week of having it. The Ford dealership repaired everything perfectly under warranty because when I took it to Kia of Covington, a woman told me that there's nothing they could do. Mike Champagne was such a coward that when my license plate finally came he called my mother to tell HER it had arrived because he knew he'd scammed me and couldn't face me. I LOVE my car and am so grateful for Banner Ford of Mandeville for fixing it and servicing it with AMAZING customer service. Again, NEVER buy your car from Kia of Covington.

If I could give a negative star I would. Read read and re read paper work. Helpful until you have an issue.. Bad service and I will not be buying a car for my second child from them.

Billy and his sales personnel are top notch. There was no pressure throughout the entire experience and we were in and out in no time. The facility itself is well kept and state of the art. I was quickly matched with a sales person and sales manager even though it was busy and rather late in the evening. I will recommend this dealer to family and friends.

Service suck lies about the warranty and haven't had the car 6months and it's having problems
They are prompt and amazing. I would gladly recommend the service department. They help you when you need it and don't recommend unnecessary maintenance. Mike is very friendly and helpful. I don't think I've gotten better service at any other car dealership, especially the service department.

Went by looking for a vehicle for my dad and all of the staff were extremely helpful and professional looking forward to doing business with the dealership in the future.
If I could rate lower than one I definitely would. I used to really like Kia and the people that used to work there. As my husband used to work there. But that was when Casey was GM and Tom was manager in the service. I have no clue why they got rid of those two. But that place is going down. Jeff the manager in parts is a complete a hole to work with. He lost not 1 but 3 workers my husband being one of them due to Jeff's ugly attitude. He took is issues out on everyone there. When one quits he moves on to the next victim. Not to mention how many times he shorted him on his check. My husband was supposed to get off early on Thursdays but when one of the guys quit it was down to 2 people so they would have the help. Well he asked Jeff he would authorize him to work so he would get paid for it and I keep track of his checks to help my husband and his checks did not change and they also were supposed to be making over time and he would fill out pages saying he made his over time and at first he was giving it to him but since Rick took over GM things changed with him and since have chased several people off. My husband was constantly coming home frustrated and upset. And he was a person who was bullied as a kid and was given up by his mom at 6 years old and his dad was always drinking and took him out of school at 7th grade and was always told he wasn't good enough. And to have Jeff constantly downing him and laughing at him was the last straw. Mind ya'll for being a kid who was bullied and who was taken out of school because his parents didn't want to deal with him he is actually a really hard worker. He busts his butte working. So Jeff he isn't the one with the problem you are. When you were ugly last week to him when he and 1 other guy was busting their butts working because you chased the other mechanic away who was also a dang good worker. So thankfully God opened another door for my husband. This other place had been after my husband for a while but he didn't want to hurt Jeff at the time until things changed and he gave this other company a call and hired him on the spot because they know how hard working he is and appreciates him. He had left them a couple years ago to go to Kia to try it out. Nothing against this other company. But they realized when Sean left how good he was and they wanted him for that. And yes I told him to walk out last week because I had it with the bullying. JEFF IS A HUGE BULLY!!!! And we wonder why kids in school get bullied because adults like him are no different. And as for Rick who downed my husband for walking out and not giving notice. I told him to leave. He would not have quit like that and wouldn't have quit at all if it wasn'y for Jeff. And Rick before you made that comment my husband talked really highly of you and hated to do that to you. Maybe instead of being on your phone you could have listened to my husband and asked if you could have helped in any way. But no when we went to pick up his check you couldn't even get off the phone and acknowledge him. That is completely RUDE!!! So if you think of working for them think long and hard!!! They were so dumb to ever get rid of Tom and Casey. They were some of the nicest people. And always spoke highly of my husband. So my advice to Kia if ya'll want to stick around and have dependable workers don't hire bullies and in my opinion get rid of (Jeff)!!!!! Why allow bullies to work for ya'll. And I have been a customer of Kia. I have bought two cars from them but as soon as I can get a chance I will be going elsewhere and trade it in. I will never, ever own a car from Kia again. Because like my husband I too know how it feels to be bullied and I don't support a business or anyone who feels the need to put others down and laugh at them.
