I would give is a big 0 but it would not let me.. I traded a vehicle in on a new one in June at JP. When I went to renew my Driver's license at DMV I had a flag on it. They said JP did not turn in the license plate on my trade. I had to pay out my pocket for a flag on my license that was their fault which I think is bad business all the way around. Little they know that will be the last vehicle they sell me my family and friends for sure....BEWARE PEOPLE this very well could happen to you..

Unfortunately our son was recently in an auto accident that totaled his car. Accordingly, we were needing to purchase a used car for the approximate value he received for his totaled car. Fortunately after we told the sales agent, Chris Jones, our dilemma, he was able to offer a clean used car that had just been taken in on trade. Because the car offered was clean and in the price range we were able to put our son back on the road in a very short turn around time. In summary, attentiveness to customer's need and the inventory to meet that need was what I treasured about my recent experience. I also appreciated the shop repairs and detailing of the car before it was presented to my for sale. I love my new/used '04 Camry.

Joey is the man!! I had submitted three leads the prior day before I put my one lead into JP Thinoudeaux. Within an hour, not only had Joey answered me, but we had numbers for the two vehicles that I was interested in. Aweful finance negotiation! The Juke I wanted had a dent in the door and a tear in the front seat. I offered a trade in and they gave me the Lowest amount for it ($1000 for a murano, with heated seats and sun roof) What an INSULT. So I offered a down payment (larger than $1000) instead & the "finance guy" decided to go back UP on the price of the Juke when I took my trade away. I felt like I was being taken full advantage of. Not every female that goes in to purchase a car is ignorant of the sales business. I'll NEVER allow JP Thibodeaux to have my business and I won't be recommending anyone here either.

I liked that Anthony was willing to speak and was very responsive through email before I ever walked in the door. It made the process much less stressful for me. I would keep a car held together with duct tape before I deal with the manipulation tactics of haggling inside a dealership. I don't know if it is because I am a lone female, but you would be shocked at what some have tried. There were no hidden fees or tactics attempted when I came in the door. The few negotiations left were easy and I was treated with respect and courtesy throughout the whole process. It was simple and actually enjoyable. -------------------------- 5/22/2018 Unfortunately, I must edit my review. The process of buying the car was 5 stars. They earned my trust. However, the measure of a dealership is often afterwards, when something comes up in servicing the car. How do they handle problems with the car you purchased? How do they help? I drive long distances often and the bluetooth phone was of great importance to me. I tested in the test drive. It was clear. I switched colors and made the mistake of not testing the microphone in the specific car I purchased. No one will speak to me on my phone because of the background noise. I tested different phones and suggestions from the internet. No luck. Others with the problem on the internet resolved after switching the microphone. Things happen - this is why a good service dept is important. I took it to the service dept to have switched out. I was willing to pay if necessary, and pay for an upgrade. I need the hands free phone! The dealership service dept was polite and professional. They did the oil change, and added a balancing of tires since I purchased from them and even washed the car. This was great and why I left 2 stars. However, with the microphone they said that they can't reproduce. How can this be? I called them on their voice mail and to their phones. They said it was crystal clear and could hear nothing. They said it was my phone. Case closed. Have a great day. I tested this with 2 models of Android and iphone, an LG, 2 land lines and even a flip phone. I also used the same phones to test on a different car (same year and model). All were clear except when calling from my car. This tells me the problem is my car. None of this mattered to them. They didn't seem to try and help me at all. It felt that they just wanted my ticket off their plate. 2 hour drive to get there, there for a little over 2 hours so 6 hours spent total - all to be dismissed. You at least want a dealer who will try and help find the problem. A simple test and I was dismissed. I called them when they wouldn't so they could hear. They said it was clear. I have a hard time believing 3 people from the dealership did not hear what is so clear to me and every other person outside of the dealership that I have called. I tried to attach a recording that I made from my car phone after leaving the dealership to this review. It was made from the same location that I called then from and they said it was crystal clear. It is obviously there - not even subtle. Loud! I will place look for a review site that allows me to place it there so you can hear for yourself. This microphone is a problem. Sadly, the worse part is that they just didn't seem willing to help, only remove me. This is worse than if they really tried to test and couldn't find the issue. This was clearly nothing to them but very important to me. I now must find a new dealer to help resolve this issue. I regret my purchase from them.

Once again, I am very please with my total experience at JP Thibodeaux. Kaylon Vavasseur went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. He even called my insurance company to make sure I had insurance prior to leaving. Ed Pichoff, Finance Manager was also very easy to deal with and explained everything as he went through the mounds of paperwork. This is my 4th purchase from JP and looking forward to a 5th! Malcolm Hale is a superb Service Advisor. This was my first oil change with my new Nissan Versa Note, and he went above and beyond in helping me set up my Service Plan so that my future oil changes and maintenance will go smoothly. I live in Lafayette, but because of his excellent customer service, I plan to return to J.P. Thibodeaux every time I need something for my car. Beyond my routine oil change and tire rotation, the staff made sure to wash my car, remove an unneeded sticker off of my windshield, and checked out a part that was on recall for my car. I felt very comfortable working with Malcolm, and know that my car was in good hands with the mechanics at J.P. Thibodeaux.

My wife brang my truck to go put 4 new tires on for me since i was working out of town. I got back from working out of town around thanksgiving. I decided to finally wash the truck and clean the rims and tires last week to find out that they installed 3 out of 4 tires wrong! 3 of them said inside and only the right one said outside. I guess the mechanic there must be blind to not see that. Ive had atleast 3 problems with jp thibodeaux since I've been servicing my cars with them. Poor customer service.
