My experience with Infiniti of Lafayette was wonderful.....while I was buying their vehicle. Unfortunately, once my vehicle was purchased, they forgot who I was. I had a blowout (8 days after I bought my vehicle with brand new tires) and when I called, they had no idea who I was. When I went a week later to pick up my registration, they still had no idea who I was. It was like they'd never met me before. I understand they see a lot of people on a daily basis, but I'd think someone, anyone, would remember you after just 2 weeks. Again, service during the buying process was great. Just wish they treated me the same after the fact.

I had a good experience with them during the buying process of my used vehicle. Although the next day after buying my car, I noticed my front tire was unbalanced and would shake when I accelerated. The car did not do that when I test drove it for over an hour at the dealership. Looking closer at the tires, we realized they were a completely different brand than the tires that were on the car at the dealership. So when they are "cleaning up your car" while you are signing papers inside, be aware they are actually switching out your tires for less expensive ones.

The battery on my wife's Infiniti SUV (not from Infiniti of Lafayette) died recently, so I changed the battery. The power lift gate would no longer work afterwards and could only be opened by climbing in the back and manually unlocking it. I brought it to them to see if they could figure out what was wrong with it and told them it had worked fine before the battery died. The service guy was very nice and helpful, but the technician came back and told him the electric lock actuator was bad, which I doubted since it had never given us problems before. They quoted me $800 to replace the actuator. I told them I'd think about it and paid the $140 bill for the diagnostics. Went home, removed the actuator and tested it with a 9 volt battery and it worked fine. Ended up taking the rear compartment apart to get to the lift gate module and unplugged it and plugged it back in and the lift gate worked perfectly again. So they were going to charge me $800 to install a part that wasn't broken, then probably install a new module for another $800 and act like they "fixed it". That's why I hate bringing cars to dealerships. The technicians are no more than "parts changers" swapping out new parts until it's hopefully fixed. So basically I paid $140 to have the car washed. Edit to reply to owner: This was in April 2017. Edit on service performed in February 2018: My wife's JX35 had a bad strut on the front driver's side. She contacted Infiniti customer service and they agreed to cover the replacement parts for both struts and she paid for the labor. We thought it was a fair compromise, although struts should last more than 63,000 miles. Thanks for stepping up to help replace an obvious inferior part. I've raised you from 2 stars to 4. Thanks.

I scheduled an appointment to purchase a vehicle from Infiniti of Lafayette . I received 3 separate confirmations stating the vehicle would be ready and confirming I would be there. I arrived for my appointment early. They told my husband the vehicle was no longer available. They also said the sales manager would meet us outside. No one met us outside. I understand things happen. A call or text to let me know beforehand we have been nice. Very poor customer service. They obviously aren’t concerned with customer relations.

These guys charge way too much for service. $750 labor for 3 hours? I was stranded and had no choice but next time I rather push my G to a service garage myself. The part was $60. They charged "book" which was outrageous compared to shop rates. I had no choice but to approve. Needed my car for work and was in a bind. The $750 was just labor.

Just to recap what happen we had a scuff mark on the door and it was agreed upon that it would be fixed. He wasn't available at the time but Jordan and his team were and they treated me with respect. I was given a loaner and they said they would take care of it. Not only did they fix the scuff they also fixed the scratch on the other side. My family and I really appreciate what they did for us. They did a reset for us so I'm doing a reset for them. I really cannot say enough about the people and service at Infiniti of Lafayette. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist and my salesman, Luay, I could tell there was something different about the way they do business. Never once did I feel pressured or manipulated by anyone there - even as two customers who came in after me were wanting to purchase my car while I was still trying to make a decision. The fact that they didn't push me aside and go for the sure-fire sale tells me they value their customers more than making a quick buck. Purchased a QX56 that had issues with peeling paint. Infiniti of Lafayette sold me this vehicle and I'm sure they knew this make and model color and year had issues. Service manager initiially told me it was nothing he could do at his level. Salesman did tell me to call Customers affair with Infiniti in Tennessee and they would take care of me, with the paint and they would make sure I had a LOANER. Well after several weeks they finally got everything together to repaint my vehicle, which I'm grateful for. However they said it was not their issue to provide me a loaner, so for 19 days I was without transportation. I tried repeatedly at all levels to no avail. So basically I was told to be happy they were repainting it, even tho the peeling was due to Infinit defect so I got 90 percent service not 100.
