I walked in yesterday hoping to find a car n thinking I would have to wait a couple of months until my other cars were off my name in order to finance another car! I never expected to drive away with the car I wanted that day! Chance was awesome and had everything taken care of! I felt extremely valued when the Store Manager walked out to see if I needed anything and told me as long as I left with a smile she was happy! This place will def have me as a returning customer

I purchased a vehicle with Hampton 5 months ago. Jamie and Sam wer absolutely wonderful . Sam was very helpful and Jamie is absolutely fantastic at her job plus she seems to be just an all around great person. The finance director was really helpful and very knowledgable. With this being said, the Service Dept. is probably the WORST I have EVER had to deal with . There is only one person , Steven, that I have spoken to that has ever been kind and wanting to be helpful. However he doesn't know that by the time you get to him, you are so frustrated and just aggravated that you would rather not speak to anyone cause you would be ugly to him and he doesn't deserve it. The girls that take calls don't try to help and from my eperience , they really don' seem to care if you give a damn or not. Anyway I am seriously looking into trading my Camry in on another Camry but with another dealership just so I don't have to deal with the Service Dept. I have sent customers there and I know they purchased because of the front and are just like me now, reegretting because of service dept. It is truly a shame because Jamie and the rest of the front sales people are really GREAT. I truly hate it because I thought I had found a dealership that would work. Only sales.

Hampton Toyota! What a ride! I met Chance Menard when he walked up to me looking at a Toyota Tundra. I informed Chance of my concerns and what I wanted in a truck. Chance was very professional for the entire ride! The first night Chance had my trade in appraised and worked up a quote. I let Chance know that my wife was to be in on the deal, and he was very patient with my needs. Couple days later I came back and after a few offers from myself, and a few from Chance, we got er done! I will definitely be back when I look to upgrade again! The vehicles are really nice, the problem is, if you are trading in a diesel they call wholesalers to purchase them, that isn't an equitable trade, wholesalers are going to give you bottom dollar to make the max profit off your back. I have a truck that was appraised between 49000 through 51000 at Dodge, Chevy, and Ford. Toyota would only offer 43k for it because they use mom and pop operations like Dons wholesale to purchase them. I love a Toyota, but I am not giving Dons wholesale my truck for one. Just to be fair, I have purchased from them before and loved my truck, I went to Musson Patout and they offered much better than Hampton, they just didn't have the truck I wanted on site.

Terrible service after the point of sale. I will NEVER bring my car back to be serviced there or buy another vehicle from them again! The sales manager, Jamie is extremely rude and the complete opposite of a “people person.” I have since started bringing my Toyota to another dealer for service. Worst car experience I’ve had, and my car is only a year old. The only time I’ve had my car serviced there, the service team was nicer than the sales team, but extremely slow. It took forever.

I was serious in buying a mini van, I asked for a better price and I was told the advertised price is the best price! No counter offer or an attempt to earn my business. I showed them a lowered priced mini van with similar year and model at a different dealership and asked them to price match, they declined. I went to the dealership to have my brake light changed and then this happened. While I was waiting I asked to speak to the 'quietest, most patient sales person in the building' [Larry Bland] because I was going to be asking a lot of possibly unrelated to each other questions that a pushy/impatient person wouldn't have time for. A short version is various takes on trading in a vehicle w/97,000 miles, and three years left to pay. Halfway through our exploration service came to report that I also needed new tires and the estimate was $1000. Due to my twenty questions being patiently explained I was able to determine that for an additional $1000 I could have a new car to go with those new tires. It was a very pleasant, if lengthy, experience. Finance [Chai Phumsorn]was above and beyond working out a few of the kinks involved with a prior balance transaction. Mr. Vickery also thoughtfully checked on me throughout the time it takes to get that all done. I am a returning customer by the way who works in Texas and keeps and apartment in Lafayette so a safe vehicle is a necessity. The bonus of all of that is that this happened on my birthday...70 years young! What a delightful way to start a New Year and new decade.

Do not buy a used car from them! I purchased a used vehicle from them and it had multiple issues that could have easily been fixed had a technician look at it. They did some sort of detail work on the hood to cover up rock chips in the paint so it wasn't visible at all. First car wash and the hood has rock chips all across it that were covered up poorly during detail.

Went to get options on lease end and details of what to do next. Chance helped me understand what needed to be done and that he would assist the entire way. Great communication throughout the week and on Saturday we took a chance with Chance and I’m now in a new truck. Everyone at the dealership was courtesy all the way to scheduling out our first maintenance date. The dealership was easy to get to and nice and clean. Have purchased 2 vehicles from here. One brand new and one pre owned. Both times, the sales associate was great and very helpful. Looking into my 3rd purchase, one of the sales associates superiors gave him a nasty comment regarding the vehicle I had purchased from them months before and was trading back in. That message was relayed to me. Needless to say, I will never buy from them again. My private information and phone number were also given to multiple 3rd party sources who continuously contacted me via mail and phone with offers for warranty coverages I didn't ask for or want. These calls started coming a week or 2 after my 2nd purchase. Wether this was the dealership themselves or one of the banks used to finance my vehicles, it was extremely frustrating.

Went to buy a car for my daughter. I showed them the touchscreen wasn't working and they had chips with rust on the hood. Manager said if I paid asking price he would fix both. After asking about a warranty he comes back and says the touch is more then we thought so we won't repaint the hood. Before making a deal with a customer you should get your information correct and not go back on your word. So they lost a sale over them losing a few hundred dollars!

I have had many dealings with salesmen and I have never had the pleasure of meeting someone like Tom Webb he is not a “salesman” he is a real person that just so happens to have the title of salesman. He never tried to sell me on anything through the whole process. He listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to make it happen for me. Wonderful auto care experience. The waiting room is very comfortable. The television wasn't tuned into something heavy. There was complementary freshly popped popcorn, fresh baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, coffee and bottled water. There are vending machines with soda, chips and candy. On a walk-in, I was in and out within an hour for an oil change and tire rotation. They did a multi point inspection as well.

Have purchased a new camery a while back. The price negotiation was the salesman back and forth with his boss. Somw how in the middle of this. The salesman accused us of lying to us since he would he in trouble with his boss. As confusing the paper work went. Going to sign with their Financial person. When asked about warrenty and we said, "No". We were criticized for not getting it with our new car. Being there with my Mother who is hard hearing and poor eyesight. She asked where to sign her name. The financial person would get aggravated with every question. Showing poor patience. Distasteful customer service as our family invested a total of 4 vehicles at that location in the past.

Its tough dealing online not seeing the vehicle before buying. But I found Heather Duhon was sincere, trustworthy and timely. There were never any contradictions or unmet promises. My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Hampton and continue to when we have our vehicles serviced. In February, we purchased a 2013 4-runner with John Romano. It was Mardi Gras day, and we most definitely did not expect that the dealership would be open. We passed by on the chance that they would, and not only were they open, everyone was in a great mood and happy to help. We received an amazing deal on the car, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Two months later, we returned and purchased a 2013 Tundra. Again, the experience was fantastic, and we received a fantastic deal on the truck. Between the two of us, we have purchased seven vehicles (five from other dealerships) in the past five years, and these two were, by far, the easiest we have dealt with. The entire staff is friendly and attentive, and they continue with this demeanor well after the sell. I would purchase from Hampton again in a heartbeat and have every intention of doing so when it is time for our next vehicles.

brought my new car here twice, damaged both times. first time, $576.13 worth of damage.. was resolved after a little hassle.. decided to keep doing business with them since they remedied the problem. went back a second time and left after the service initially thinking no damage was done to my vehicle..or so i thought. enter the second situation: $2,304.52 worth of damage, has yet to be resolved to my satisfaction and the situation has gotten extremely messy. hoping hampton can swallow their pride, maintain their dignity, and do what they can to make me happy. and that little response they have under this is from months ago when they did this sh.. the first time. we have not reached an agreement. my only agreement is 4 new wheels.

There is absolutely no communication from this dealership. After I bought my vehicle a survey was sent to me. I filled it out with some negative comments and no one bothered to contact me about it. After that I didn't do any more surveys since, obviously, no one cared what I thought. Auto Butler at first seemed like a good service. However, I was told that my vehicle had to be clean before they could service it. I had to pay them to wash it when this should have been done for free. Auto Butler is already expensive enough. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership. I have gone back to Lexus because of the outstanding service I get from them. Hampton doesn't even come close with their service.

I can only speak for the service center, but they were so helpful! My car had been making strange noises that the mechanic who normally services the car couldn't diagnose. Joe and his team got my old Camry all diagnosed and fixed up! Friendly and honest group of people willing to work with you to save money wherever possible. While my car was at the shop, they put me in a beautiful new rental Camry.

So I take my RAV4 to Hampton for 2 minor recall issues and the service advisor, Cheryl Miller advises me that my car is approaching the recommended transmission service done at 80,000 miles. For approximately $300 I should get it flushed and warranted. Like a good Toyota owner I brought my perfectly fine car in for this "necessary service" to take advantage of the transmission warranty. I figured out, a few days later, that I have been driving around with pieces of my car dragging the ground. At 5:15 on Good Friday I call Cheryl Miller and inform her of the troubling discovery and she informs me that my car was never touched on the underside. She also has the service technician insist that flushing the transmission is done through the topside engine area and that whatever is dragging and falling off is not their fault. She even suggested that it was the fault of the automotive shop I regularly, EVERY 5,000 miles, take my car to for oil changes and tire maintenance. The las time I was there was 4,000 miles ago in December. Because it's Easter Holiday Weekend I had to find another vehicle to visit my son in North Louisiana yesterday. I was able to get someone to look at it today and sure enough, 9 plastic bolts that hold the underside cover are missing and the cover has been dragging. IT'S THE COVER OVER THE TRANSMISSION PAN, UNDER THE ENGINE. Cheryl Miller LIED TO ME. Their serviceman LIED TO ME. And I was informed by another mechanic shop that they will lie to me again if I bring it back in. SO BEWARE!!! Hampton will sell you what you don't need AND screw up your vehicle at your own expense. UPDATE: The Service Director contacted me within an hour of my review. He apologized and offered to remedy the situation in any way. After asking a few questions it was a miss understanding that they ultimately fixed. I bought a brand new 2017 camry in march of 2017. Sales experience was excellent. Service after not great. I later found I was missing the wrench in my spare tires kit. When I went in for service they tried to charge me $70 for a jack and wrench. After talking to 5 different people they finally provided me with the wrench they hadn't included when I bought the car. Other than waiting an hour for a wrench I would give 5 stars. But wish I could give 3 1/2. Because trying to get a test drive while waiting for service is near impossible if your vehicle seems too new to them.

There service SUCKS! I took my truck in for a noise coming from under the hood and for a rattle in the dash board. They fixed it after me going pick it up 3 time and driving down the road 5 miles to hear everything that I bought to for. But that isn’t all they scratched up my dash board in the process of fixing it and they told me that it happens when you have to take it all apart. No last one I checked that isn’t how it is suppose to be. Well i got a called today to pick it up the NEW DASH BAORD THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO INSTALL instead they spray painted the scratches and got over spray all over. Michael K. was very professional and made our experience effortless. The vehicle had left for auction but he never gave up on locating it and he had it returned to the lot for our purchase. However, they stated they knew of no problems. On the way home the check engine light came on. After reviewing the pics off the website again I noticed that in the pic of the dash the light was illuminated but when driving the vehicle it wasn't so they cleared the fault manually. I had a really good experience when buying my Tacoma from Hampton. Great truck, good deal, and everyone was extremely professional. The only issue I had came at the end of the sale when getting the key(s) to my new (used) truck. My sales person handed me one key and when I asked for the second was told there was only one. I was told that I would have to purchase the key and pay for the programming as well. Had I known before we completed the paper work we could have addressed the need for the second key right then. In retrospect I should have asked if there was a second key, but the experience was excellent, the truck was beautiful, so I never thought that I would only get 1 key and I didn't ask. That wouldn't keep me from buying another vehicle from them, but unfortunate that was the only thing that kept this from being an exceptional experience.

So I bought a brand new Toyota Tacoma about 2 weeks ago and I noticed that the front fender flares was coming off. I then brought the truck in right after I noticed the problem. Really didn’t think that parts would already start falling apart on a brand new truck. So I brought it in they then took one of the front fender flares off the truck to match the paint at the paint shop. Really didn’t think you had to take the fender flare off to match paint really thought you can just look it up on to a computer to match paint. To make it worse didn’t get asked if I wanted a rental. Now at this point I’m driving around in a BRAND NEW TRUCK with no fender flare looking like I’m driving around like I got in a wreck. So I get a call saying that the front fender flares was ready to be put back on the truck from the paint shop. The lady in the front told me it would be about 30 mins we ended up waiting for about 2 hrs. Then I get the news that the fender flares wasn’t sticking to the truck now I have to bring it in for the third time. ( I drive 20 min out of my way)They then ordered more adhesive tape to put on the truck to get the part to fit on the truck. So I waited for the parts to come in I left the truck with Hampton to get it fixed. They gave me a rental this time. Hampton had to get a body shop to fix this kind of problem. So I get a call Monday morning that the truck would be ready for 2pm I showed up at 2:10 where’s the truck? They then told me that they were in the process of getting the truck. It took 45 min for them to get the truck. Don’t think I’m ever going to Hampton again.

I bought a used 2010 Escape from there(which I am still paying for). In the last 6 months it seems as though everything is breaking or faulty. I do have the extended warranty on warranty,however, I do have to pay the deductible every time. Just recently it went in for some fuel throttle issue, but they ended up finding a oil seal leaking and damaged motor mounts. Both were covered, but I had to pay for a oil change because they changed the seal plus the deductible. Not even two weeks later my car was leaking oil all over my driveway. I brought it back(had to be the same huh?) NOT, now there is a crack in the oil pan and other stuff. I really need some advice on what to do this is not right. Help Please

Whenever I would get my oil changed, it always took over two hours WITH an appointment. I did get my battery replaced through them. It was more expensive than other places, but I was told I'd get a seven year warranty good at any Toyota nationwide! Too bad it's actually only a two year warranty, and they give you a "discount" during the next 5 years. I'm a whole two months or so outside of my two year warranty, go figure. What a waste of time and money. I will never use this establishment again, and will also tell my friends to avoid it as well due to the extremely long wait times and the lies they tell. I wish I could find a place of business that wasn't shady.
