If I could give this place negative stars I would. We bought a truck ONE WEEK AGO and it’s already in the shop because of a bad abs module, also everything in the steering had to be replaced. They tried to tell us they gave us a great deal so was unable to help us out. They were wrong, we gave over book value for the condition the truck was in. It’s a rebuilt, and they told us it was clean. WRONG. Beware and never deal with them. They don’t care about the safety of their customers.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. To start I was lied too, I was told I just needed 1k down and I would get warranty with it as well. I ended up paying 1400 down and when it was time to sign the paperwork they said no warranty. When my temp tags ended I had to take time off from work to have the vehicle inspected for the title which this should have been do before the vehicle was on the lot. They couldn't find the correct rim for the vehicle so I ending up finding a rim within 5 mins since I know what I was looking for. The vehicle also had many lights not working like a head light and tail light which was a quick and easy fix. I also had to bring the vehicle back do they could install a GPS that they forgot to put in which fell on my brake pedal while I was driving almost caused me to wreck. Needless to say out the window it went. Before buying a vehicle from any place make sure you getting fully inspected at a local professional shop and make sure the dealer has the title work done first and shop away for the best deals.

My wife called Tri city autos 2 days ago 2/20/18 and talked with max. Max told my wife Natasha, he would call her back in 10-15 min to inform her if she was approved or not. He never called her back that day ? Yesterday 2/21/16 she called and checked to see her status on approval. Max was not working she talked a man named Aiden. He told her he would call her back in 15-30 minutes. Nothing she called again spoke to Aiden again. He said a water pipe broke and that, he was helping his boss fix it that he would call her after they've fixed it never called. Thanks for not calling back, my wife and I got a great used car through a online car vendor called carvana she was approved in less than 15 minutes.

Not a car lot more like a VfW for old men to hide from they're wives all day and call it work...Very disappointed. I had to search for someone to help me answer the question I needed for the vehicles. The first guy passed me off to a dude he must have called from the back who knew nothing about the trucks or anything on the lot. I was shopping for my mother to make it easy for her. They didn't stick with the numbers I gave them for They made no attempt to deal or work with her and said her credit report showed a repo, which it did not and our bank confirmed this swiftly. When asked to get a copy of the report they refused. Made us both very upset how they treated us.

Well I got a vehicle there and was making my payments on time mind you until this past month....I called and made arrangements on the issue and was told they "put me in the system" so that my vehicle would not get taken away...well I was lied to and now I am on foot with my family and major issues...I now have to find a way to get to DR appointments also to get a Soldier back and forth to his meetings also to the VA clinic since he is a Vet!!! Thanks so much for everything you guys!! The only thing nice was the repo people. at least they made sure we did not have to walk back to my home in the heat!!! ugh.

A diamond in the rough - at least this is what I can say about my shopping experience at TRI City Auto Mart in Lexington. It is not an easy task to buy a used car, but the price was excellent and the seller did not push at all and was patient to answer all the questions we had. The business it is family owned and they are doing their best to treat you like family and maybe you will become a permanent customer. So next time your shop in the area, just stop by and check if they have something you are interested in so you may be in for a nice surprise.

I just bought a nice used Mercedes Benzs at tri city auto. I was very pleased with the way I was treated. Cared for while I was their. I got the car I truly wanted. I had problems with the car. The dealer fixed them the next day. At no cost to me. As a business money invester. As a buy here pay here car lot. A car dealer is in business to make money selling cars. Yes car lots do buy, then fix and re sell some cars. To people with very bad credit . Theirs allot of people out their. That run into a little cash. And run to buy a buy here pay here car. But then something happens to them. Or to the car and they can't pay for the car. And it gets repoed. The car is the dealer's Money investment. And he is protecting his investment. The buy here pay here car. I read & heard stories about People putting down. & saying bad things about car lots. Cars they sell. To much money. Selling junk cars. Ripping people off. And so on. Well hello !! Wake up people ! If your credit is bad. Their is a reason for that. I'm not judging anyone. Just stating the facts. You can buy a use car anywhere. Buy here pay here Car lot's. Buy an old beat up car . make your paymets on time. Pay it off. Rebuild your credit. Then move up to a better car. So don't judge Used buy here pay here car lots. Purchased a vehicle a month ago, made them aware that we were moving out of state so they "rushed" what work (minor they said) that needed finished on the truck. When we dropped off the truck for service they weren't aware of why it was there or what needed to be done.. (that should've been a red flag right there!) we had to call back several times to find out what was going on and again made them aware that we were moving out of state that week if EVERYTHING couldn't be done we didn't want the vehicle. Received a call this week demanding that we drive back so the KY dmv can inspect the vehicle for the title/tags. The customer service agent, Courtney, called my boyfriend a liar when he told her how much gas would cost for the round trip. She's the one who lied to him when she said she sent out his tags in the mail earlier this week. We still haven't received an answer as to why they didn't do everything they needed to on their end. Ridiculous business management if you ask me. I wouldn't do business here. (I wish we could just get our money back and pretend this interaction never happened) I'm actually concerned if the truck is okay to be on the road since they didn't do their end of the paperwork properly how do I know it's even safe!?

My husband and I have had the worst experience with this car lot! I'm 19 years old and still trying to build my credit, my husband is 25 still trying to get his up where it needs to be. When I first contacted the car lot I had explained the situation told them my credit score, how much I made a month and how much my husband made along with my bills and told them that I didn't want to go through the process and have them run my credit if they wouldn't be able to help me, the person on the phone proceeded to tell me they could and would be more than willing to help and asked what I could do down told them could trade my 2010 Hyundai Sontata along with $500 cash they asked me to come in. We came in they took all of our information asked if we still had the trade in I told them we had decided we would prefer not to but if it was needed to get us into a vechile we could, the lady then went outside walked around my vehicle showed up 2 cars in red after I had specially said I did not red due to insurance reasons. We came in side I had to ask if that was the only two cars on the lot they had in our price range, a guy said he might be able to do a 2012 Nissan Maximum. The lady we had been working with left us inside while she went out to start it when we came out side to look at it she turned off the car shut the door and asked us to send them more information the next day and she would contact us, I asked if we could at least look into the Nissian and she said yes we looked in side and decided we wanted that car, keep in mind they only allowed us to look at 3 cars and 2 I specially said I didn't want. I sent in my information and every time I call we are told that they will call us back and never do. My father in law who has a vechile through them calls and they tell him they are getting ready to call us and never do. My father in law had an amazing experience with them. My husband and I have decided to go through a different car lot after being gave the run around with this one, they knew my situation before we started this process, knew how much I made, my rent, and even my credit score, said they would be more than willing to help when they are not. A lot of time and gas since I do live in berea was wasted because of the run around. We would have rather heard that they unfortunately couldn't help us in stead of saying they could and wasting our time when we are in need of a new car. Out of 120 cars on there lot we were showed 3.

I went to look at a specific truck and told them I wanted to do buy here pay here because I was working on my credit for a house and didn't want to run my credit. He said no problem we can get you in it and took my information. Give minutes later I got a notification that my credit was being ran on my phone. I questioned him about it he said we think we can get you financed but either way we do buy here pay here. 2 days later after hearing nothing from him I went in the store and they said we can't get you in that truck buy we can get you in a car. The service here was horrible and he was very dishonest.

They sound good in the beginning, then you start catching them in their games and lies and from there it gets worse. you can never talk to just one person and noone can answer with straight out honest answers and they run around like their all super busy. I think their on drugs or something. Children are running this place, worse place ever, do urself a favor go somewhere, anywhere else and as I read through these reviews on this place I see a lot of the positive feedback is coming from their staff . Amy Mann was the one a very close friend of mine went through to get a car he didn't want while she ran around like a chicken with her head cut off and then David made promises that was not kept so even more lies even on the net. Started out as a great experience. Everyone was very polite and made us believe they genuinely cared about us as the customers. I was in the process of being approved by a lender. They asked us to come back the next day in order to ensure we would get the best deal. We were told/asked to leave at least a $100 deposit (that we could get back) to make sure the vehicle would still be available to us. They were not ablepto get us a deal anywhere near what we talked about, so we ended up walking away. They THEN told us, our deposit was non-refundable after we asked for it back. I've called multiple times asking to speak with the supervisor and he is ALWAYS with a customer or doing something other than making it right with me. Supposedly, there is nothing they can do about it.
