Buyer Beware! We were told the dealer had accepted our terms and charged a vehicle deposit for a car to our credit card. In response we booked a non-refundable flight to pick up the car. A few minutes later the dealership attempted to steer us to a different vehicle telling us the vehicle we had 'secured with our deposit' had been sold to someone else by 'mistake' but they could get us a different vehicle for the same price. They claimed our card was not charged despite their prior statements. Although they knew we only booked a non-refundable flight after they told the car was ours, they refused to sell us the car and refused to reimburse our flight costs which were caused by their 'mistake'. We won't be doing business with these folks, they are either incompetent or something more sinister. UPDATE Contrary to the statements of this dealer I did not cuss or act unprofessionally. Our sales rep was named Glen and we only spoke to Jessica to process our payment. It was Glen who told us the vehicle was sold. Interestingly enough the 'vehicle' was still listed for sale in inventory on their website although they advised me it was sold. A bait and switch is where a low price is given on a vehicle and then the dealer attempts to steer a customer to a different vehicle. I'll let Kentucky's Motor Vehicle Commission and the public make up their own minds about what is going on at this dealership.

We purchased a vehicle from here a few years ago. Recently, we have had to have an extreme amount of work done on the vehicle. We have never had the level of service provided to us before as what was provided by Chad and TR in the parts and service area. It was because of this, we purchased another vehicle there during this process and the one receiving service is performing perfectly. Gary Burgin was our awesome salesman. The sales department was very good experience. Other than no one seems to have knowledge of other departments when it comes to the vehicles. Such as any free services that come with the vehicles. The service department is a little less desirable. Seems like they have a problem being able to answer the phone. Every time I call I am transferred several times until I get disconnected an I have to call back several times before I get thru. Qhen I was in there I noticed one was doing something on a computer one was on the phone an one seemed like he may have been on a personal call. The phone was ringing an not one of them attempted to answer it. An some are not very friendly in the service dept.

Overall a positive experience. We were in the market for a new van and looking to trade in our old one. They weren't willing to budge on the price of the van we were looking at, but they offered us a decent deal on the trade. Almost $1000 in additional fees, including pretty high documentation fees ($700+) and a $235 loan fee that they never clearly stated would be included in the principle of the loan. This caused a fairly awkward call to the bank holding the loan when the principle amount that showed up on my credit report didn't match the paperwork from the dealership. The fee was hidden as a line-item. Out of three places that the "amount financed" was listed in the paperwork, only one included this fee. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was an oversight and not a malicious sales practice. I wouldn't *strongly* recommend this dealership, but they worked with us to get payments where we needed. I feel a cautious person who knows what vehicle they're looking for and what the vehicle is worth could do very well here. I've waffled back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. Finally settled on 4. Wish I could give 3.5.

My wife Purchased a vehicle online through CarGurus. The price was great. The process of purchasing the vehicle was the very definition of incompetencey. It was impossible to get ahold of anyone in finance let alone our sales rep Jenn. I guess it’s to much to ask for an update. Jenn at one point requested my pregnant wife and I drive 5 hours to come pick up the car even though they clearly state free shipping. In regards to their shipping method, one would believe they would ship the vehicle on a flat bed truck like every other dealership on this planet. Nope, the Tim Short way is to have one of their hired red neck friends drive the vehicle 220 miles while their buddy follows behind in a vehicle they borrowed from the lot. I was completely dumbfounded that to dip spittin back of the woods boys pulled up in our new car. In summary, if you like a good deal and can handle increased blood pressure and or hair loss, by all means go with Tim Short.

Update to my previous post of a one star: Chrysler approved my incentives that the dealer errantly submitted. The downside is it may be summer until compensated. Brian and Gary did offer good-will to help resolve issues which I am most thankful . My wife and I appreciate you kindness. The GM, however, never returned over half a dozen phone calls from myself. This is truly disappointing and unacceptable .

Very small lot, i had a rough time finding a place to park..a view of the work being done would've been nice. My last Crysler dealer and garage did a courtesy wash job and provided a free to customer car wash whenever desired (during open hours, of course). Hey Tom!! You need a parking lot and a courtesy car wash for your customers!!. Service is quality, except for the long wait they could've completed the recall system update while waiting on the service bay for the oil change. That would've cut the long wait down, but then i would've missed all that excitement that was putting me to sleep in that very uncomfortable chair. Who would want to miss that?
