I looked for about 2 months for a used Suburban, and finally extended my search a little further. We drove from Cincinnati Oh, to look at several Suburban and Yukon XL trucks. We found the one we wanted and then started the paper work. They quoted me a monthly price and an amount for my trade in. The truck had to be jump started due to an interior light being left on, I was a little hesitant especially since I had me wife and 3 small children with me and a 4 hour drive home. I expressed my concerns and the finance manager assured me that if in the next two weeks I needed a battery send him the receipt and he would reimburse me. We did make it home, however I did end up replacing the battery the next day. I sent a picture of the receipt and they sent me a check. This is a business that is trustworthy and stands behind there word. The salesman, and finance team are all top self in my book. They met and exceeded our expectations and i would definitely recommend them to anyone and will also check there inventory the next time we are in need of a vehicle.

Drove 5 hours to buy a $14k car from them. Got there, the check engine light was flashing and the tires that were supposed to be in Great condition had CHUNKS missing out of them and dry rotted beyond belief. When any questions were asked about the vehicle, the Salesman Frankie specifically said, " I just sell them, I don't know anything about them."

I bought a 2015 Chevy Captiva the staff was nice. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get there and the car wasn't on the lot after a 1 he wait we couldn't come together over $500.00. After a little while I noticed the price was dropped so I went back and bought the car again no problem with the staff . The only problem I had was that after I bought it and brought it home and gave it a good bath and cleanup on the inside noticed it had been wrecked which had not been disclosed to me now where whoever done the bodywork on it had glued the bumper to the fender is loose. I know I should have caught the shoddy repair it was raining.but they should have told me there was no mention of any problems on the Carfax. Just becareful . This car was purchased around Feb. -March of 2017. No I will not buy from them again.

I looked at over 200 vehicles on the net and found the one I wanted, a 2014 Challenger R.T. Did a walk through with the salesman over phone and all was set. Car was shipped to me to Northern Michigan. Immediatetly the engine light came on, then upon inspection nothing added up. Was listed as : One owner / It had Three Back -Up Camera / None Navigation / None Car Checked Certified (maybe but not disclosed) but was wrecked Headlight basil fell off Had one good Goodyear in back and one Firestone at 40%. Rear defroster doesn't work. The list goes on...Salesman was really sorry but he advised me to talk to G.M. That didn't go well and told me It was my responsibility to do my research on the car. WHAT.. do 200 car faxes ? It was totally a mis-representable ad. Emailed another G.S.M. with no response. Well folks I give the salesman a 2 Star and the G.M. and the Dealer negative 5 Stars. I really question the integrity of this business, NOT a happy camper!

DO NOT buy a car online from this dealer or sight unseen. Misrepresentation, denied knowledge of the obvious the average consumer could identify, much less dealership knowledge and unwilling to return deposit after I had clearly stated the condition in email communication that if it were misrepresented, the refund would we issued. Said they'd ship it on a truck, only to be driven over 400 miles to delivery. Beware.

I'm 45 at the time I write this. I've purchased near 40 vehicles in my life. It's always been nerve-racking going into a dealership. I just want to complement Tim Short Auto Mall for giving me the best car buying experience ever! I live an hour and a half away from the dealership but found an unbelievable deal. I worked with Kesha by email and worked out the deal on my Pacifica that was $2600 less than my local dealer. I went to my local dealer and they told me "it's impossible, they can't do that... " They said " you'll get there and it'll be all these extra fees", etc. Well I got there, the car was what they advertised. The price was the same, and nothing changed from the buyers order they emailed me prior to the drive up. I was greeted by James, very nice man and he took care of me. I was pre approved but there was a snag due to my current license but the sales manager Travis worked with Chrysler credit to overcome the issue so I didn't have to provide more info. Then I worked with Will in finance to do the paperwork and that was so smooth and enjoyable I didn't want to leave. Everyone was very pleasant and I didn't get the sleazy vibe I usually get from salespeople, sales managers and finance managers. I actually enjoyed shaking each of their hands before I left. I highly recommend this location for their superb treatment of me. When I'm in the market for a new vehicle, I would most definitely return. I wouldn't say that about any other dealership I've purchased from in the past. That's my $.02!

Best prices around but the worst service. My experience is that they tell you everything you want to hear when buying a vehicle but don't back that up once you have signed the dotted line... I have bought two $45k trucks from them and have yet to have a good experience... I would suggest paying more at a more reputable dealer before buying here.

Don't never buy a car from them. If I had to do it over I would have went somewhere else. They are a total joke. Bought a car last Thursday 8/3/2017 the following day the battery went dead. They forgot to get my down payment and give me my temp tag the day I bought it. They called in Friday and told me I forgot to get your down payment and forgot to give you a temp tag. They came to my work on Saturday and gave me my temp tag and I gave them my down payment I told my salesman that I had to use my other car battery cause it went dead the following day. He said it shouldn't be a problem for them to take care of it. I made an appt for Wednesday at 1 pm to take the car to get the air fixed and the battery replaced well they fixed the air but they are not going to replace the battery. Pissed is an understatement. I will be calling the main office in Manchester and complaining as well but I wouldn't never buy another thing from them. This is the worse I have ever been treated. Oh another thing they was upset at me cause I didn't bring it in before 1 pm cause they said it would take longer to fix it cause they close at 5 we'll the next morning they did come to my work and pick it up and gave me another to drive I don't understand why they couldn't have kept it and I get a loner and pick up my car the next day after they fixed it. Dumb on there part. They are a total joke

Lied to the customer to makea sale, makes promises they never keep and they also sold us a vehicle with an active multi national recall (takarta airbags) easily discivered this by running a v.i.n. search myself as they should have done. I do not recommend this place unless you absolutely have to go here in a pinch they might be okay otherwise id say shop some other auto store like nissan, tincher willams, or falls ford.

We came over 50 miles away to check out what looked like a sweet looking 2017 Cadillac ATS AWD for 23,999. When we looked at the car, I immediately identified a very dangerous situation with the car. 3 of the tires had severe damage on the sidewalls that presented blowout risks. This was even after the salesman Brian Spears offered to let me and my Husband test drive it. Then he says "something's up with the touchscreen". Yes it was broken like someone drove their fist into it and ran sandpaper down the rest of the controls. After voicing displeasure with the salesman about the Cadillac, we told him what we were looking for. He proceeded to insult us by showing us a muddy creek water colored Mazda. It was quite warm out and we had to walk a bit to check out what else they had in stock. We saw there were two other employees just lounging around on golf carts not doing anything that could have given us a ride. After having our time wasted, we decided to waste the salesman's time by pretending to be interested in buying a brand new Jeep Renegade. Will never be back. STAY AWAY.

Had an absolutely horrible experience. Was completely given the run around. Sent to the Harrodsburg location being told all I had to do was pick out a truck and I would be taken care off. I never once even got to look at a vehicle and was told that I would need even more money down along with my trade in. Upon calling back management explained the person I spoke with should not have told me that because it was inaccurate information and then proceeded to get very rude with me. The only reason I came to this location was because I was told that they work great with veterans such as myself but this was not the case. I will no longer even consider giving them my business

Good prices on their vehicles however when needing service for repairs they are the worst. It has been a bad experience everytime. I bought two vehicles from them and was planning on buying more in the future but since they cannot service the vehicles I no longer will buy from Tim Short again but also the service manager was not customer friendly. I had to drive two hours from Corbin to Richmond to drop my vehicle off for Mann Chrysler to service the vehicle because Tim Short in Corbin where I bought my vehicle could not. Also the service manager of Tim Short in Corbin would not do anything to help me or even give me a loaner. Mann Chrysler had to rent a vehicle for me when they had it for a week to repair the vehicle. It's not Mann Chrysler job to service my vehicle or get me a loaner. They don't even work for Tim Short. But Jimmy from Mann Chrysler helped me because Tim Short dealership service manager was not going to do their job. How can a dealership sell vehicles but not service their own vehicles even when they have a service department right there????

They are so rude ... me and my friend went to buy her a new truck. She wanted to test drive a dodge longhorn to see how it drove next to the GMC we just drove. The salesman told her unless she was buying the truck today he wasn’t letting her drive it. This guy was so stupid because her boyfriend was going to write a check for her a new truck if she liked it. So stay away they are rude and if you don’t drive up looking like you have a million dollars they don’t want your business. Stupid salesman in red polo and gray hair.

Do not deal with Kesha Chitwood! My husband and I both have spoken to her by email two separate days on a vehicle and she drove the price way up compared to what it was listed for and I have photos for proof. She also quoted me and my husband different prices on the same Jeep two days apart, mine was 1k higher than his and his was 1k higher than the listing. She is a horrible business person and I would never give her my business! Playing people for fools is not how you earn business!

I couldn't find the car I wanted locally and the local dealers acted like they didn't even want to be bothered with selling me a car. I went online and found the car I wanted here and called them up. They were WAAAY more accomadating then they had to be, to say the least. They helped me through phone calls and texts and even worked it out to deliver the car to me! Don't waste your time! After looking at several vehicles I found one their website that I was ready to buy! After calling about it and being assured they had it I drove down there I was told it had sold before I got there (same day). No big deal, I decided to just keep checking the website for new cars After a few days I noticed the car I wanted was still listed for sale. I called Corbin again and was told again the car was not available. It had sold. So I called Tim Short in Middlesboro and asked about the car to be told that it was very much still for sale! The Corbin lot had it but they would get it! After waiting several days for them to get it I was told Friday night I could come get it Saturday. I told the salesman that I worked nights at the hospital (worked 3pm - 7am that Friday) and my husband had a wedding in Williamsburg Saturday (he's a DJ and has been for the last 10 + years) so we would have to reschedule until today. We had already filled all the paper work out over the phone, been approved, had the cash down and was ready to buy today. I got called in to work early again and let the sales guy know my husband would come down and get the car if that was okay because we wanted to drive it overnight before we signed the final paperwork. He was beyond RUDE accused us of giving him the run around and asked if we were even going to buy it! But wait! It gets better after we look at paper work link he sent us we noticed they we were being charged $18,500 for a car that was listed for $17,500 on the website! When we brought this up he claimed he was not aware of the online list price! Seriously! We let them know they could keep the car. My next day off we will be taking our money and business elsewhere! And we won't be recommending Corbin or Middlesboro Tim Short to anyone!

My experience was not the best. I explained to my sales representative what my credit score was and let him know how much I could afford to spend per month. I’m on a tight bidget and was very vocal about how much per month I could afford. My credit report was hit 9 times with hard inquiries even though I told them I have my own credit union. The payment I was quoted after setting for hours in the show room was double what I could pay. I tried to contact the sales rep back several times after coming back home to Harlan and he wouldn’t answer after he found out I wasn’t interested in a car they was pushing me to buy.

They sold my dad a lemon. When he tried to get in touch with the guy he kept ignoring my dad for weeks. His response was to give my dad another car which also turned out to be a lemon. Again he avoided my dad,now my dads stuck with a tore up car. It’s a shame they take advantage of old people. Dad spent all his money on it & now can’t get it fixed! I wouldn't give them one star but it want let me post unless I click a star. I bought my car the first of august and they said they would fix the air. Well its the end of Sept and the air still isn't fixed. I work a fulltime job, if I'm not at work I am taking my kids to practice or games and the car I bought is a 3 roll seat and has plenty of room and that is what my family needs. They kept my car for over a week and the air still isn't fixed. They have had my car for about 14 days total a few days here and there. I don't have time to run to Corbin every few days to take it or pick it up to get the air fix so I will take it back as soon as my boys sports end. If the service dept don't know how to fix I wish they would take it or have me take it to one of there other locations maybe they would get it fix. I will never buy another car from them or tell anyone anything good about this dealer ship. If I treated my customers like this I wouldn't have a job. and I do have an appt. with the main car lot to talk about everything that has went on. The person I talk to said I sure wasn't the first that has an issue. So just for them telling me that I bet they have had a bunch of issues

Extremely unmotivated sales team and management. They attempted to sell me a vehicle with worn out tires and only one operational key. When you put a cash option on the table, they are less likely to deal because they don't get the "kickback" from the finance companies.
