We were traveling from Denver home to Lawrence, KS when our great 2007 XC70 displayed a “check engine light”. We contacted Ryland Foster at Premier Volvo late on Friday afternoon and he said to come on in and they would find the problem. We were treated with great courtesy and professional assistance. Excellent Dealer Experience at Premier Volvo. My wife & I shopped many dealerships in town & while many have fancy wait-rooms, amenities & panini bars, Premier Volvo is where we felt most comfortable dealing with everyone involved in the car buying process. The drop-off and pick-up of the car went without a hitch. The work was done and the car was clean by the end of the day. I was disappointed in that I received a text that I could respond to re: progress on my car, and I sent two separate texts after about 4 hours and 6 hours checking on status and neither got a response. If you’re not going to respond don’t solicit my text. That’s my only complaint.

I don't enjoy shopping for cars (luckily my husband does). We just bought an XC90 from Premier Volvo and our experience was great. Norbert, our salesman was great...very easy going, genuine, and not high pressure at all. Jimmy, the sales manager was the same. We got a great deal. They even walked me through setting up the touchscreen system so it didn't seem as intimidating. Highly recommend for anyone shopping for a Volvo!

Our 2001 Volvo V70 T5 battery failed on a trip from Chicago to Prescott. After limping into Overland Park, I called the service department of Premier Volvo Cars Overland Park to find out if they could squeeze us in the following morning. Service rep Ryland Foster met us, wrote up an estimate and recommended a couple of breakfast diners nearby. While we enjoyed breakfast at Cozy's Cafe, Premier diagnosed the failed battery, replaced it, and washed and cleaned the car in time for us to resume our trip. Ryland's customer friendly attitude and down-to-earth manner gave us the comfort we needed in handing our car to complete strangers for service. With such a positive experience, I may stop by just to say "Howdy!" the next time we pass through Overland Park!

I was told over the phone by a hurried parts associate that I could walk in and buy parts before 8pm when they close. The associate practically hung up on me. I walked in at 5pm, and after searching for and finding an employee I was informed that the parts dept closess at 4pm and they only have sales people there until 8pm. Not the best service unless you are buying a car apparently.

Jared, John, Shannon, and Robert did an outstanding job on the purchase of our new 2012 XC60. I live in Austin, TX and they negotiated a reasonable price for the car via phone and e-mail. I flew up on Saturday morning, John picked me up at the airport, and after signing the papers and a brief orientation, I was back on the road to Texas. The folks at Superior Volvo are just that, Superior. Best car buying experience I have had in terms of low pressure, fair negotiations, and customer service. I wished we lived closer so we could experience their service, but I will recommend that anyone in Texas that is looking for a Volvo to give Superior a chance.

Based on past experiences with local dealerships I just knew there would be issues. However, the dealership was great. Jeffrey and Ivan were terrific and very understanding of our concerns. I’m giving 2 stars because when my friend bought her Cadillac they treated her exceptionally well. They made her feel comfortable and confident in the car she was purchasing. BUT..the next day when she had her shiny car to play with and touch all the features...it didn’t work! When she contacted the dealership they were not helpful at all. She brought the car in and they said she had to pay 50% to fix it. Now I understand if weeks go by and something was working and then stopped working..fine, pay half as agreed. But this was broken before she bought it. She asked nicely, she asked firmly, she brought people in to try to help explain, she even has to contact her lawyer! So in the end..not a good experience! In the end, if you choose to buy a car from this dealership, even though it feels uncomfortable having to check every single little thing on the car...YOU BETTER DO IT. Once you drive off the lot they do not care about you or your car. Not their responsibility!! Very disappointing and I will say we will never purchase a car from them due to this!

My perspective of what a service department was like was completely changed by the way Richard took care of my wife's car during a tire replacement and alignment. My wife and I will be returning for future care of our '13 XC90! Also since my wife had our 4 year old and needed the booster they pulled a car from inventory that had a booster and let her borrow it. We were impressed by that gesture and it felt like they cared about my family's safety and ensured we were given the "equivalent" car, even if near new!

We live in Omaha and found the V90 Cross Country T5 Wagon at Premier through the internet. I liked the ability to do a significant amount of ‘paperwork’ via their website, such as filling out the credit application before taking a three hour roadtrip. Best of all, I worked with Eric and Christina via email to negotiate the deal!! I am very happy with my trade in value and the price of the Volvo! The email exchange was pleasant and painless; unlike some past experiences of high pressure and argumentative car negotiations I’ve experienced. Once the numbers were settled ( it only took 1 business day, but I was at work and couldn’t always respond quickly), I arranged to head down 2 days later to (hopefully) finalize the transaction and bring home the beautiful, white V90. Before heading down, I was a bit skeptical about the ease with which the transaction was occurring - I thought they might try and trick me with the trade in once I got all the way down there. Well, my concern was wasted. When we arrived, Dennis told us a bit about the car and then I test drove it (dreamy auto). While we were out, Jimmy prepared the paperwork. I kept thinking, what will be the catch? No catch, Jimmy had the paperwork ready upon our return with the exact numbers Eric and I discussed! Jimmy and Dennis were delightful hosts during our visit. It was a calm , relaxing, classy, luxurious experience!! They are planning to build a state of the art facility in the near future with tecnology features being of the utmost importance; for example, when one pulls up to the bay doors, imagine all the software in the car being updated automagically!! The interior of the building will be very modern, hip, tecnology oriented, with Swedish clean lines. I plan to take my V90 down there for service (and my 10k, 20k, and 30k services are free). Oh, I received such an excellent deal on the 2018 V90, Volvo is paying my first payment!! Woohoo. Top-notch customer service. Worked with Jimmy Loveland and Norbert Love. We found the car online from Minnesota, so worked with the dealership for a week before picking it up and driving it back to Minnesota. Jimmy communicated thoroughly, sending photos, explaining the conditioning the car would be going through (we were buying a used lease return). Norbert kindly picked us up at the airport in a beautiful S90 and saved us a 45-minute taxi ride. We arrived to find the car in immaculate condition. They arranged a helpful tutorial with Bailey, who took us through the cars' many electronic features. All in all, a luxury experience, even when buying a pre-owned car. We can't say enough about the experience. Highly recommended.

My experience has been excellent. I have along standing relationship with salesman Stan Stewart. I believe this is about the 3rd Volvo he has sold me in a span of 15 years or so. Stan is one of the good guys and it's great to call him a friend. As he has done in the past he made this sale just as painless. We were sent a letter from Volvo encouraging us to test drive a vehicle at Premier Volvo and in doing so, they would give us a visa gift card. I set an appointment to test drive a vehicle and showed up to do so. Everything went fine with the test drive but when I gave him the paper for the gift card, the manager told me I was not eligible since the letter had my wife's name listed on the letter and she was not with me. I asked they send the card to my wife then and that would be fine. Nope, she's not there with me so can't do it. I remained very calm throughout and just said that I'm obviously going to leave with bad taste of the dealership if they don't make it right and he said he understood. Do not trust offers from this dealership and I found them to be shady and just trying to get you in the door. No real attempt to follow through with what they offered.

Simple, clean and friendly staff. I stayed for 2+ hours for service since they don't have available car loaner. They have snack, coffee and wifi. 4 stars because I couldn't find an outlet to charge my laptop while working and waiting since no car loaner available to go back to office. I waited for 2+ hours. Overall, the advisor is great and approachable even after I went back after the service because the ride experience is kind of odd due to newly rotated tire. Good and well explained why it does like that. Will observe for few days and see how it goes.

Wanted to check out the xc40 so we stopped by for the first time. Didn’t know which was the front entrance as the place looked like abandoned building. Upon entering the building, we noticed that was the side door and no one, literally no one was one the floor. Someone approached us 15 mins later with a ‘how are you doing?’ and that was it. No further interaction, no follow up, nothing. He went back to his work and just abandoned us on the floor. As far as I liked the new xc40, Volvo is killing itself due to the fact that it’s dealer couldn’t swallow their pride and do their job right.

Went into purchase a car, the sales associate Jeffery Cilek was already uninterested in selling to me. We left the dealership after he mentioned that he will text us with pricing. He sent an email next morning and I counter offered as any customer would and he pretty much said, I can't and good luck. Pretty much all he did was talk about himself during our initial meet. The sales manager reached out to me (Aaron Lee), I try to negotiate with him to meet somewhere in the middle, no response back after one email. After a while, he stated pretty much the same thing that he cannot do anything about the price with not much negotiation. I have went to Acura, Infiniti, Audi before and after and never had this type of experience with multiple people at one place. I did not get what I wanted at other dealership either but the experience at other dealerships were so much better. They simply did not have the courtesy.
