I drove 50 minutes to Olathe Toyota because I had a bad experience at another dealership while trying to buy a new Tacoma. A friend of mine recommended Olathe Toyota and that I should ask for Robert Jackson. From the start Robert was very transparent and worked with me patiently through all of the questions I asked him. Robert was able to order my new truck with all the options I wanted at a price that was much more competitive than the other dealership. Robert was not pushy, he stayed in touch with me keeping me updated during the build process. He even gave me my trucks birth date. I loved it. I highly recommend that you ask for Robert at Olathe Toyota. Thanks Robert for changing my perception of car salesmen.

Had an amazing experience with Olathe Toyota with Carrie Renick and John Ouang Their tag team approach allowed us to conveniently go to the dealership without reexplaining what we were after and the interest we had in a certain demo. Carrie was persistent letting us know it was still available fianally when we had time to go back and make the final decision John stepped in and closed the purchase for us. Sales staff need more training. I called today asking about current stock for a Tacoma PreRunner. The sales lady said she doesn't think they ever had a PreRunner for sale at their lot?? I explained to her it was nothing more than a 2wd Tacoma, I told her I was in the market for an SR5 Crew Cab PreRunner, she then asked me if I wanted 4wd or 2wd? Obviously, she wasn't listening to my needs or wants? I told her I'd call back later, I wanted to talk to someone that knows their product. I did call few minutes later to speak to a sales manager, but was on hold for 4-5 minutes and just got tired of waiting. I bought a new Toyota from them in 2013, drove from Wichita...doesn't look like they'll earn my business again.

My wife and I had been looking at various makes and models. When we narrowed it down to the new Toyota Camry we visited several of the dealerships in the area. We found the vehicle we wanted at one of the dealerships we visited prior to Olathe, but wanted to think it over, as well as the fact that we didn't get the best vibes and feelings from that dealership. We set up an appointment and test drive and soon after traveled to Olathe. Even with a good amount of traffic and people at the dealership we were quickly greeted and asked how we could be helped. We were matched up with Micah Kent who was very helpful and prompt. As we explained our situation and intentions in potentially buying a vehicle he was very attentive and understanding. Even though we had test driven the type of vehicle we felt we wanted, he suggested and offered to prep a similar car to what we had described to test drive. He worked quickly to find the vehicle and get us on the road. He was very nice about letting my wife and I drive the vehicle by ourselves and didn't pressure us to allow us to come with. This was not the case at other dealerships. My wife and I appreciated doing test drives without someone over our shoulder. After the test drive we started to look at a specific model close to what we had driven and some of the options, accessories, price points, etc. Several times in the interaction we needed time to consider things, and discuss things just between my wife and myself. Micah was very receptive to that, respectful in the time and space we needed. At no point were we pressured or hovered over. Micah was patient with our requests, forth-coming and honest in his approach and responses, understanding of our needs, as well as helpful in working with our budget and expectations. His manager Kenny was the same way. He took the time to come over to us, explain a few of the processes and what he would do to help us get what we wanted. Throughout the time we were there it was quite busy. Micah and his manager were always expediting anything they could in order to serve us and they were patient when we needed to discuss our thoughts and intentions. The experience was great overall as we were comfortable with the service we received. I would recommend the sales aspect of this dealership and without a doubt tell anyone to go ask for and work with Micah Kent.

I had an excellent experience from the time I pulled up to Olathe Toyota to the short time later when I drove away having purchased a pre-owned vehicle. The sales consultant who helped me, Johannes Alberty, was wonderful--before I even walked through the door he was available to help me. I told him about a pre-owned car I found online and he took me right to it, explained the features, let me take it for a spin, and gave me the CarFax report. When we went inside to discuss pricing, I let him know I already had financing through my bank, and that was that, no unwanted pitch to finance any other way. Additionally, I was given a great value on my trade-in, even though it needed a new windshield and body work, and the sales manager Yo Phisaisawat was amazing in helping me get a bit more off the price tag to get me closer to my budget. I never felt any pressure whatsoever. Johannes explained everything, answered all my questions, and was honest and straightforward from start to finish. I'd been shopping around for a couple weeks. At one dealership I liked the car but during the conversation on costs, they surprised me with some massive additional fees. At another, the salesperson was very condescending when I asked what I thought were some very basic questions. With Johannes and Yo at Olathe Toyota, there were no surprise hidden costs, and I was treated with respect and patience (I asked A LOT of questions). Oh, and did I mention to Lifetime Powertrain Warranty? Pretty darn cool. I'm not being compensated for this review--I simply had the best car buying experience, way beyond my expectations. Definitely ask for Johannes!

But he showed us an Mini van Sienna, used, that had all the bells and whistles that my wife fell in love with at first site. Went in there to trade into cars for a new car, new the value of our cars they lowballed us something fierce or me, I do believe it was because I was a woman in there by myself! When I told him I knew what my cars were worth the guy basically laughed at me and told me to go buy my car somewhere else! Keep in mind I went to another Toyota at the legends had wonderful experience and got within $200 of what I wanted for my trades!

My WORST experience ever purchasing a new car. Quentin (the virtually clueless salesman), Yo the dishonest manager), Victoria (delivery supervisor?), and the finance manager, a rude male who made it seem that he was doing me a favor by letting me purchase a car from the dealer: were rude, dishonest, ungrateful and unfriendly from start to finish. I’m guessing you’re thinking why did I buy a car from them if this was my experience? The honest answer is they had the car in stock that I was looking for. No other Toyota dealer in the Kansas City area had the make, model and color that I wanted at that time. Upon delivering my car, I noticed chips on the hood. They gave me a “I owe you“ to come back and have them fixed at a later date. Additionally upon delivery they spent very little time and were annoyed that I had questions about all the new technology in the 2019 RAV4 and rushed me out of the dealer. When I returned to have the ding fixed on the hood, they told me they would update me as to when the car would be ready. Thirty minutes before they wanted their loaner car back, I was given a call and said to bring the loaner in ASAP as they had to have it back that night. Upon inspection of the hood of my brand new car, the chips had not been filled and were just as visible as when I dropped the car off.. Victoria told me that that was the best they could do. So my warning to you is if you want to purchase a new Toyota in Kansas City and want to be treated honestly and with respect go elsewhere!!

The customer service was excellent (from the initial phone calls to inquire about the vehicle and set up a test drive to the moment we drove away). We were pleasantly greeted when we arrived, the salesperson (Kevin) was helpful and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable about our purchase, Tony tried his best to help us navigate some of the technology in the vehicle (which we greatly appreciated), and Scott was very professional and helped us better understand the financial part and paperwork. I have 5 stars for the dealership as a whole and the same for the following people we dealt with. Faith Beach was our email and initial information contact. She was polite, helpful, and courteous. Nice first contact. Brian Egar was our salesman at the dealership. Brian is a very pleasant and helpful salesperson. He didn't sell, he helped us buy the car we wanted. Victoria Starks explained the after market options available and gave us an excellent short course on the car's features (considering it was a Highlander Limited, there's a lot of features). Daniel Tigerina was our finance manager and he's great. We got a great deal on the extended warranties and Daniel made the whole process painless. I normally hate this part of the process, but Daniel made it a surprisingly pleasant experience. And last, but not least, Yo Phisalsawat, Sales Manager, remembered me from when I helped my son buy a Toyota Tacoma. That was 7 years ago. That was nice. Olathe Toyota is upfront with their pricing and the prices on their web site are very reasonable. We also used their price update service and saved an additional $750. We negotiated some on the trade in, but it ended up with what I expected to get based on Kelly Blue Book. Again, 5 stars to Olathe Toyota and their great staff. Terry

I went in for a routine inspection in order to sell my Scion —that I purchased from this dealership— to another individual. I was told this would take a little over an hour. Two hours later, I go to seek out someone to tell me the status of my car. Upon pulling up my account information, I see the car has been done for nearly an hour and no one came to notify me. I had to wait another 20 minutes while the “paperwork is finalized” before someone comes to tell me the results of the inspection. There were no apologies and no acknowledgments of my prolonged wait. Everyone was very friendly, but the service was absolutely terrible.

I've had one good experience and one bad experience here. In both cases, we didn't buy a vehicle so I can't comment on the buying process. I understand that many employees are working for sales, but when I say up front that I'm only there to get more information and see what a vehicle looks like, complete attention is still appreciated. Both visits were during low traffic times (Wednesday mornings, I believe) so I certainly wasn't making anyone lose a sale.

Wife and I recently received our 18 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4x4 from here and we thought the experience was well done. We were not pressured at all during the test drive or anything and in fact I think I was probably the more pushy one haha. We were treated well and they gave us what we wanted and did not push us to get something we did not want. The truck was a dealer trade and it did not have the floor mats that it was supposed to have standard. When they saw that it was missing the floor mats they went above and beyond and gave me all weather floor mats when they could have just gave us the carpet ones it was supposed to come with. I was impressed and I am still thankful for that to this day. This is a very good dealer and I cannot think of a bad thing during the experience here so far.

I've only been to the service department here, but the staff is great. They also have a nice lounge while you're waiting for your car to be worked on. There's usually a fruit basket, some donuts, and free coffee as well as a vending machine. Seats are super comfortable. There are work stations if you need to work on something while you're waiting. The service is top notch.

He was not pushy at all. He did not put the pressure on my mom to pick a car right then and did not try to persuade her to pick one car over the other. He was very thorough in explaining all of the different technological capabilities of the cars my mom was looking at. His patience was much appreciated since my mom has not had a hi-tech car like the one she ended up buying. Kind, humorous, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough, we would recommend Bob Tucker for anyone looking to buy a car at Olathe Toyota.

I walked in to test drive a couple different styles and met Johannes Alberty, he is a wonderful and down to earth salesman that helped me and informed me of the options of each vehicle I test drove. He was also not a high pressure type of salesman. I appreciate that he was relaxed, and informative and respectful. I am a single parent and he was sensitive to that and related to me by showing me photos of his daughter's and wife. That made things much more personal as well as showing me his dog and laughing about raising pre teens and teens. We have had 4 Toyota vehicles and all of them have been incredibly reliable. My wife's car had 155,000 miles on it and never required anything other than ordinary maintenance. Even though we didn't need to replace it, we decided to do so to take advantage of the new technological safety advances on the new vehicles. We had never been to this dealer before except for maintenance from their Service Center. When we arrived, we were greeted by Leroy Giles. Leroy makes a good first impression and has a warm and wonderful personality. However, we do not enjoy buying new vehicles because when we leave, we always feel the dealer took advantage of us. In addition, in the past we have always been subjected to the "torture chamber" at other dealers to try to get us to buy unneeded and unwanted services. The good news is that Leroy was very professional, very knowledgeable and exerted no pressure on us to purchase anything. We took our time, but always came back to Leroy and due to him, we had a wonderful car buying experience. We strongly recommend him. We did not receive anything for this review, it is purely voluntary.

Took vehicle in for a recall, got it back with a noise that it didn’t have before, they’re trying to claim it was normal wear and tear to engine motor mounts and tried charging me $675 for them to be replaced. I bought the parts myself ($76) and while I was fixing the entire passenger side motor mount was forced on backwards. Called them telling them what really happened(have picture and video evidence) now they’re trying to say they didn’t touch the motor mounts yet I have paperwork from them claiming they did, (hard to pull an engine while it’s still bolted to the car). Customer service was useless. And even corporate was useless. Will never purchase a Toyota again, nor a vehicle from this terrible dealership.

I thought it was pretty funny when customer service came out to offer me more accessories on my vehicle and show me my manuals when I hadn’t even had my credit check for the vehicle yet or went through finance but that is okay it was a great experience. Five years ago Johannes helped me pick out a car. He did not push me to get something that I would love and couldn’t afford. In fact he actually found me a newer better model of the car I initially wanted for just slightly over the same price as the older one. Initially, I thought everything went smoothly. However, the dealership found that the VIN was entered incorrectly on the lease paperwork. That meant that I drove the "wrong" car for a month with technically no insurance or proof of ownership. They gave me one key that was correct and one that was not. I received the title (Missouri gives titles to their owners) for the wrong vehicle and with returning it to the dealership, I have to wait another month or so and had to get a second temp tag from the dealership so that they can fix this. Toyota Financial said that they could change the VIN and the color of the car internally rather than writing up a new lease thankfully. I will say that the dealership has been very nice in this process but it's just frustrating. My state to state transfer can't start, delaying my ability to get my address and everything else taken care of with the move. I also had to have the tire reset for $25.00 within a week of leasing the vehicle because from the factory the bead was messed up and the tire leaked (and tires aren't covered under warranty). Furthermore, it irritated me that I caught the managers giving me a different number in the lease paperwork than what we had discussed which would have cost me about $700-800 more over the course of the lease had I not caught it. Update: After several weeks of hassle and calling over and over they refunded me a little bit of money to compensate for the frustration. All I can say is I'm still not happy with the way this was resolved or handled.

Went to Olathe Toyota to view their SUV's . I didn't have much time in between dental appointments. Carlos Solis was quick to greet me. We looked at the Highlander in the show room. i explained i was replacing my Wife's 2004 Chrysler Concord with all the bells and whistles and it was totaled due to colliding with a heard of wild pigs in Texas it was a dark foggy night. ( totaled the car ) Carlos explained all the features of the Highlander and looked at a few on the lot for exterior and interior colors. Carlos was able to give me a brochure for the highlander explaining the different models. ( other car makers don't offer brochures. this was a BIG PLUS for Olathe Toyota to take home and review and make notes in.) couple of days later my Wife and i came in and Carlos was there to show us various Highlanders and found one we liked and purchased it that day. It'was about 15 yrs since we purchased a new vehicle, Carlos was very helpful with the initial paper work, then introduced Jack Wilson the delivery coordinator who went over the the features of the Highlander and set up my Wife's cell phone bluetooth ti sync with the Highlander. ( note Bluetooth was named after King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark and Norway from 958-986.) Then went to Bobby Marroquin director of finance to finish up who was very helpful too. Carlos was there to to lead us to our new Highlander and see us off.. The next day Carlos called our home phone and left us a message thanking us for and letting us know to call if we needed anything to call. Thank you all for a good experience.

Tell me why I go online and tell them I will be there around 1pm. Then I show up and no one knows I was coming in. Then they proceed to waste my time having me sit and wait while salesperson and manager talk and crack jokes. I knew at 2p I had to leave. I told them I needed to leave and the manager tries to put blame on me for not giving them enough time to give me prices on my 2 trade in cars. I'm glad it's my fault this is the most poorly ran Toyota dealership I've been too. Not worth dealing with these guys. I've been to the service dept here 3 times over the last couple months. They broke parts during each repair, adding time to the service. Terrible customer service and awful communication often meant I was in the dark as to what was happening with my vehicle. I usually had to call them days after I was promised the repairs would be complete to get an update. The final time they refused to fix the damages they caused. I won't be returning.

First experience was good because one of my friends suggested mechanic was there. Second time the work was horrible. Tire rotation was done shabbily and I am experiencing wobbling steering now. They call you after the service saying that they need your vehicle in their inventory and you are eligible for an upgrade. But it’s a big waste of time. Minimum 1.5hours and you will end up with nothing. They under evaluate your vehicle and the credit amount is in peanuts. All their other inventory vehicles are very expensive compared to Legends or Hendricks. So kindly avoid if possible and take your vehicle somewhere else.

Have dropped off our Prius here a few times and the service is always great and reliable. Walmart does not do alignments, so we go here for certain services and recalls. They always have coupons and specials online that they honor. The waiting area is very nice as well!

I didn’t buy my Tundra from Olathe but have used them for getting rid of my chrome on my vehicle. First two visits went off without a hitch had no complaints on work performed and quoted price. After that things went downhill. Tried to get a driver side grab handle installed two mud flaps removed along with debadging the truck and installing a black exhaust tip. They said they couldn’t install the grab handle since not sure it was the right part..removed the whole plastic wheel well liners and damaged the truck removing the badges. The exhaust tip went on without a hitch. I guess I must have complained too much since I had to return to get the wheel liners reinstalled and to get the body fixed and to try to get the grab handle installled since I verified the part and had written instructions from a Toyota dealer. They still refused to do the grab handle and completed the rest of the work although the badge removal forever damaged the clear coat. You don’t use a plastic pry tool to get these off you use heat and monofilament fishing line! So much for the highest level technician certification. Oh wait after all that was headed back for another part install and I have been forever black listed! Guess they couldn’t please me and had to eat too much on the last job! Like that was my fault. I never refused a quoted price for work. I have a lot of respect for the position Victoria Starks is in being the front person for an aweful service Dept and it’s leadership. She should get a raise and the Service Mgr should be fired. I’m back at Ray Adams and couldn’t be happier! In response to the owner...Ray Adams and Molle happy to install that handle. They do it all the time...I never asked for anything aftermarket to be installed. I had to come back once to have problems fixed....My recent request was also a Toyota part which you refused to even quote me. Blacklisted...who does that? Also anyone that sends a response like that to a customer like it was my problem has plenty of business until they don't..

Bought a new Camry from Olathe Toyota at the end of 2017 - and from the beginning I complained to Service dept about squeak in dash, and I was told that they could find nothing / wasn’t part of Toyota Care service/ didn’t have time to do. I am sitting in Village Pointe Toyota in Omaha where I brought my car in for 20,000 Toyota Care - and the Tech just told me there was a “warranty covered issue” with the dash and they are repairing. So I have listened to this squeak every time I drove my Camry for the last year and a half because Olathe Toyota could not be bothered to take a look. Caveat Emptor.

I was looking for a specific Toyota Tacoma, in a specific color and equipment and located the truck at Olathe Toyota. After contacting the dealership I was assisted by a specific sales consultant who showed me the specific truck. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the equipment on the truck. There was no high pressure and we agreed on a purchase price which were very fair. To my surprise, they were able to prepare the truck for delivery while I waited and took care of the paperwork. Once the truck was ready and showroom perfect, they again went over the operation of all the equipment. I have purchased several Toyotas over the last forty years and experienced all kinds of selling techniques, good and bad. I can honestly say I was very pleased with the atmosphere of this dealership and their employees. I will definitely shop here for my next purchase.

Good service and great quality. This is the 3rd car we have purchased here and every experience has been phenomenal. "Yo" (sales manager) has always taken care of us and made our visit simple and trouble free! I highly recommend this Toyota dealer way above any other. My family has been going to this toyota for 10+ years bought multiple cars, great experiences with every car. I went into service for a animal nest in my air filter. The lady was rude to me. I believe her name was Debbie. I waited for a few minutes for help. She was more worried about pushing me off to someone else than helping me. The guys there are very respectful. They got me the filter and showed me how to replace the filter myself. I needed to throw the old one away and debbie sees me again with the filter and tells me to not throw it in the service center. I ask her where to put it she does not respond to me. It would be a 5 star if it was not for her treating me that way.
