I have had my 2017 Fusion serviced there for the last year and half. Last night I purchased a new 2019 Ford Escape from these folks. It was the most pleasant professional experience I have ever had in buying a car and trust me I have bought a number of new Fords from a lot of places in the last 10 years. First it starts with Dan Lynch himself, he runs a professional team and you can tell his folks are on board. Jeremy and Larry handled my wife and I on the purchase of our Escape and I can tell you these guys do what they say they are going to do. They don't play games, they don't make promises they can't keep, they tell you what they are going to try to do for you, and they get it done. My thoughts on this is you can go to any dealership you chose to buy your next Ford or Chevy. However if you want the most professional and pleasant buying experience you have ever had then there is only one place you need to go, Lynch in Mt. Vernon Iowa, just a short drive from Cedar Rapids or Iowa City and trust me the 15 minute drive will be worth your time. Lifetime customers is what we are, drive on down there and find out why:)

My experience was great. I called and worked out the details of my purchase prior to driving 10 hours to pick up my new truck. Yes I said 10 hours. And this is the second time that I have purchased a vehicle from Lynch Ford Chevrolet. I was able to be in and out and on my way in about 20 minutes. Made an appt for Oil Change, have slow window looked at, and rear sensor trouble shot. Oil Change went fine, slow window was supposedly lubricated and repaired for about $100, and rear sensor was $530 for the fix so i opted to not get it repaired yet. The tech called to advise my truck was done & also wanted me to know about additional repairs needed asap due to safety. Rear Brakes were almost metal on metal and about $500 to fix. Rear control arms and bearings were shot and needed replaced for about $1300. And tires needed rotated. It was cold when i arrived and truck just got washed so the slow window was froze shut. A few days later when tried again found it was exactly the same. Now, a few weeks later, its much worse. Got a 2nd & 3rd opinion on the important safety items. Both revealed the tires were not wearing oddly and highest tread was still in front so no reason to rotate. Rear Brakes were at 15% or around 5000 miles for the way i drive = NOT an immediate safety concern, and certainly not metal on metal. Rear control arms and bearings were fine; However, the cambers were loose and should be replaced before next oil change for under $500. Finally, upon arrival i got switched from my normal Tech to a different one, even though mine was there and not busy at the time. Didn't think much of it until it was checkout time. The new Tech walked me over to the counter to pay my bill. When i asked him to explain the additional Safety repairs, he just pointed to the check out sheet and said "its all explained in there", and walked away back to his podium where no one else was waiting for him. Clearly he didn't want to deal with me. Suddenly i felt like a number in a Wal-Mart checkout line, instead of an owner of a $54,000 Ford Truck that supposedly had a lot of Safety issues !!! Needless to say I'll take their cue and take my business elsewhere

I have bought my last 5 vehicles at Lynch Ford Chevrolet, and wouldn't go anywhere else now. My favorite part- they don't work on commission. There is no pressure to buy, no sales gimmicks. We've always been able to strike a deal where both parties are satisfied. Service after the buy is great- everyone is fast, efficient, and always willing to go above and beyond what is asked. I'd like to see them have more Chevy options on the lot, but you are always able to get what you want if you are willing to wait. :-)

Top notch sales and service. These days when you buy something 'as is', it can often can very wrong as soon as you drive it off the lot. I bought a pickup and realized the tail lights and tag light was not working on the way home. I called and the told me to bring it back. I did and left it as they were unable to fix it quickly. I picked it up and discovered the tag light was still not working. They said they did not have the bulb for that light. I went to Autozone and tried to replace it but was not able to as the previous owner replaced it with something different. I called Lynch Ford Chevrolet and they not only fixed the tag light... but also noticed some loose wires on the Tommy lift tailgate and took care of those at the same time. No charge. Now don't expecting them to fix something major a week later. But in this day and age there is so much bad business that it pays to go to those who have the best reviews. Lynch Ford Chevrolet is a place you can count on for quality and great service!

What a great car buying experience! This was our first time purchasing a used vehicle from Lynch and have purchased several other new and used vehicles previously from other local dealerships. The "typical" car buying experience has often left us feeling pressured, frustrated, and angry and then at the end of a LONG time-consuming experience, we left feeling like we got ripped off. Not at Lynch! There was absolutely no pressure to purchase and all the employees seemed honest, genuine, and trustworthy. They clearly want to earn and keep your business. The vehicles are priced extremely fairly and they are willing to work with you to make sure you leave happy. We brought our 3 kids and went in thinking this would be a LONG and headache-filled day, but Lynch's kids playroom and amenities are outstanding! The kids didn't want to leave! The entire experience felt comfortable. They have definitely earned our future business!

I recently bought a used pickup from Lynch Ford. It is a very low mileage, super clean truck. Due to the year it was sold as is. I live 60 miles from the dealership and was half way home when the check engine light came on. I thought to myself great what have I got myself into? I called my sales person right away and told him about it. He told me to bring it back the very next day which was Christmas Eve, he made arrangements with service and assured me that they would expect my arrival. Within a hour and a half, they diagnosed the problem, had the necessary parts on hand, and fixed the issue. To my surprise went to pay my bill and even though it was "sold as is" was told there was no charge. I think this could be a start of a long relationship between a buyer and seller. Thanks to everyone at Lynch Ford and especially my salesman Kip!

not real happy with there qick lube service do to the fact they don't make appointments..l live out of town an I called to see when they thought it would be a good time to bring vehicle in for oil change. was given a window time frame an I arrived at the earliest time given an was told I had a 4 hour wait . I had other appointments that day so passed. asked if opening time would be a good time an was told that would be good and was told yes so I came in the next day at 7 . I saw there was a line but they could get me in . done 2 hrs later. .okay with that wait but still a long time for an oil change.

They certainly earn a bonus star in my mind, which is a very pleasant surprise when writing a review on car shopping. > 100% worth the drive from Cedar Rapids or Iowa City area > Got an amazing deal, that was effortless to get, and I am a complete numbers person, very frugal, and look over all the details! > Everett, the sales associate, was great, and patient to show me all the options available, test drive for a few hours, and did not give me any of the typical hard sell, sign this, you must buy it today, etc... > Jeremy the sales manager, was the best surprise, this is usually the 'closer' role, but he introduced himself very early in the process to recommend a lease -vs- purchase option which was much better at meeting my needs. With Jeremy, I felt he was more interested in helping me with my needs, compared to what it takes to sell a car that day. > SELECTION, (no, not yelling it) but hard to have both Chevy and Ford on the same lot, with an abundance of colors, types, engines, etc... Very impressed with the quantity of cars and options!! > Finance office was silky smooth, able to answer all the questions with a seasoned professional (Matt). Very organized and efficient. > The dealership is also very clean, with nice people all around. > Service Department, will let you know once I get some oil changes and/or work done, but fully expect it to be top notch. In the end, what a surprise to me and worth the short drive. Looking around I realized I was not alone, many people from all over buying cars at Lynch. I think the 'monopoly' dealerships in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area should be a little worried. Some stronger marketing to encourage more people to make the short drive over is all it will take, they will never want to go back to the high pressure, buy today empires in the larger metro areas. Not only was the work done in a timely basis, the car was washed AND vacuumed. Also, the air pressure gauge on the front passenger tire was not reading properly. A less scrupulous dealership may have simply replaced parts and charged for labor. Lynch was able to diagnose and fix the problem without costing me a fortune. They have earned my trust.

Called on Wednesday of this week to speak with Service Department about getting my truck serviced, air conditioner checked and turn signal on driver's mirror fixed as I have a few bulbs out. I was attempting to have this done on Saturday, (hence trying to schedule an appointment.) Gentlemen said just bring it in on Saturday, it will take 2-3 hours so you might just drop it off instead of waiting. (good idea) I called back this afternoon (Friday) to discuss dropping it off tonight so they would have it in the morning, and was told by a different guy, "They can't do that on the quick lane, they won't want to do any of that work on a Saturday, probably your whole mirror assembly!" What a joke, and I represent a Commercial Customer to this place.... of which my company truck (the one needing work) was purchased there.

I came into the experience a little nervous because it was going to be my first time trying to buy a new vehicle on my own. I needed to trade in my 2008 Explorer and my late husband's 2010 Nissan truck. We have come to Lynch Ford for YEARS for our vehicle needs and there was NO reason for me to be nervous. We always worked with Jeff Pottebaum so of course I set up a time to visit with him about what I wanted to do. My experience (once again) was relaxing and incredible from the time I walked in and was greeted by Jeff until we shook hands when I left. Jeff shared with me that I was a perfect candidate for leasing a new vehicle, which I never had done before. There was no doubt after his explanation of leasing that was the route for me to take. I am thrilled with my 2015 Explorer along with the Jeff's amazing kindness. Thank you Lynch Ford!

What a great experience!!! I had the opportunity to visit several different dealerships in my quest to purchase a new vehicle. All I can say is "WOW". Lynch Ford Chevrolet was by far the easiest and best experience that I had. Absolutely no pressure, extremely accommodating and full of knowledge before and after the sale. I can't do justice with my recommendations of this dealership in regards to purchasing a vehicle. It is a completely different experience. On a side note, if you need any service work done, visit this dealership as well. This past year we received a quote to fix a part on our GMC Acadia. The quote was $2,200. We told our "local" dealership to put the car back together and we took it to Lynch. $700 later we were back on the road. There simply is not enough stars to rate Dan Lynch and his crew. Simply a great experience!!!

After spending a lot of money on a new transmission. I pick up vehicle and 2mins later check engine light comes on. Took it back and they said they have no idea how to fix. So I'm stuck with a vehicle that doesn't start sometimes due to a possible faulty ecm. I get to tow my vehicle to another shop.... oh joy.

We drove over two hours to go to this lot. We had found a car online we were interested in at great price. When we arrived we were kindly greeted and helped immediately. All of the staff we dealt with were helpful and wanted us to be happy. We didn't end up buying but it wasn't because they didn't do there jobs right the car just wasn't a good fit for us. I would drive six hours to go back if they had a vehicle I was interested in.

I personally went to another auto shop for an estimate earlier this week where I was informed that my car needed a good amount of parts replaced for a LARGE sum. After having a mini heartattack I reached out to a good friend that works at Lynch Ford Chevrolet, Lennon Jones. Within the next morning he had replaced the necessay parts which were completely different from the prior estimate at a fraction of the cost. My 2013 Equinox became disabled in the afternoon about 5 miles from my home. I have an extended warranty on the vehicle through Ford and called their assistance number. A towing service appeared within about an hour and the car was taken to Lynch Chevrolet in Mount Vernon. By the next morning, I received a call that the trouble was found and the car would be fixed by that afternoon. I was able to pick up the car later that day and it has operated flawlessly since. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Lynch Chevrolet.

We drove about an hour just to find out that lynch Ford is full of crooks and liars. I was looking at a yellow 01 mustang, they have it priced at 5,300 which in its condition is over book price. I was going to trade in my 07 Chevy Silverado extended cab Z71 4x4 that books for $11,000 private sale and $6,500 trade in even with some typical Iowa rust and 168,000 miles. They tried to tell me that I would have to come off of $1,500 plus tax title license on top of my trade. Obviously I said no. My wife told me to trade in her 04 F-150 extended cab Fx4 4x4 that has 150,000 miles and has one small spot of rust on the rear bumber and two small spots of surface rust on the front. They tried to get me to come off of $3,000 plus tax title license on top of that trade. But on closer inspection of the mustang the whole undercarriage is rusted, both mufflers are rusted, a bar on the passenger side rear is rusted through and it had been in a rear end collision but they weren't going to tell us about that until my wife noticed the slight difference in paint color. Both of our trucks are worth more that that car and everyone there knows it. As long as I live I will never visit or have a nice thing to say about this dealership. I hate crooks and liars, cant abide that behavior. Everyone should think twice before trying to deal with these people. Mr. Lynch. What would you call a group of people that knowingly try to take advantage of someone and treat that person as if they have not already done their research and know what the vehicles are worth? I understand your employees are trying to make money like everyone else but trying to scam someone out of money on top of a trade that is worth more than a vehicle you are trying to sell is bad business.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change (which always takes 2+ hours, annoying! but I get it for free so that is why I do it) and the guy explained to me that my brakes are bad and would need to get them changed, but said no worries you have our maintenance package and that will be free! I would just need to call in during the weekday because they didn't service on Saturdays. So I called in and explained to the guy what the other guy said and said but I don't want to get this done if its not free because my husband said he could just do it at home. The guy explained to me AGAIN nope, you have the maintenance package so maintenance will cover it! So we went ahead and scheduled the appt and went through the hassle of getting my vehicle there to get it done. Sure enough I get a call from Lucas and he says hey Brenna I haven't touched your vehicle yet because I just want to make sure you know this isn't going to be free! ……..needless to say I WILL NOT be going back here again! Terrible service! Spoke with the manager, Jeff, and the only thing he said they would do to make it right would be to deliver my vehicle home!

I have had service done here and purchased a vehicle here. So far, my expectations have been timely met and at a good price. The salesman and other staff were all very helpful, professional and even caught an error at my bank after signing papers - which got me .5% lower interest rate 3 days later. If you are looking for a vehicle, they don't budge much on price but are not high pressure sales driven. Their prices are also fair. This made the whole process smooth and pain free.

My recent visit was a simple oil change. I waited 2 hours for an oil change! Which made me late for work. I am always asked if I am going to wait for my car and I always do, the service men will always tell me that I will have a certain amount of time to wait, this time I was not told so I thought it must not be that bad. I understand that everyone is busy but when you have a quick lane for cars that's what it should be. A quick lane in my opinion is a oil change, belt replacement, etc. I don't know what everyone was having done but the waiting area was FULL. I like taking my car to Lynch because everyone is so kind but if I have to wait this long for an oil change it's not worth my time, my time is just as valuable.
