We had the pleasure of working with both Kelly and Sam to find a reliable, affordable car to replace one we lost unexpectedly in an accident. Our initial experience on their website was great, locating what we were after. Initial communication was wonderful as was the follow up and we never felt pressured. I would highly recommend Community Honda, Sam and Kelly and we will definitely stop back when we're ready for our next vehicle.

Dealerships are crooks, this one is no exception. Service tried to fix an oil leak, still leaked so I took it back in, said that one of the vtec cylinders was leaking between the 2 halves of the cylinder and that no gasket was listed so I would have to replace the whole unit at a tune of over 200 just for the part plus whatever labor was. 2 minutes on google i found the honda genuine gasket and had it shipped to my house for 10 bucks. About 30 min of labor shes good as new.

Received a decent offer by email. When we arrived we had decided to try and trade our old vehlcle. The trade offer was $2000 less than kbb. The sales person and manager acted like we had ruined their day by doing so. The sales person then disappeared and we dealt with the sales manager who acted like he was doing us a huge favor by selling us a car. When we left, no thank more like get the hell out of here. What jerks! Don't have to worry about being sorry because we won't be back. Do not deal with these people.

Worked out a decent price over the phone, was expecting a clean Honda Pilot with wear appropriate for a three year old vehicle. It was even supposedly "Certified Pre-Owned", which means absolutely nothing. What I found was a vehicle that smelled like a wet dog, and had been so poorly detailed you could probably assemble a reasonable facsimile of a dog from the hair in the seats. Every door seal on the Pilot (this was an '11) was torn and deteriorated to the point it should be replaced. On the exterior there was at least two dozen hail dents down the driver side, a few on the hood, and a few on the roof. The dealer wasn't willing to fix anything or re-negotiate price after I had driven an hour, with check in hand to purchase the vehicle. The only thing I could do was walk away. Please double and triple inspect any used car you might be tempted to purchase from Community Motors. If they're willing to negotiate with you at all, it's probably junk.

Ran diagnostics over my civic not starting 2 years ago at this place. They tried telling me that I needed a new alternator (even tried getting an expensive aftermarket one too, because that was the BEST for me). I didn't listen and changed my battery and my alternator is still fine and working. What a joke. Don't waste your time.

Found a used van online. Contacted via email, couple quick exchanges settled on a price. Put down a (refundable) deposit. They had the van detailed and ready for me to view in person. Once we decided to move forward with the purchase, the process took less than 20 minutes. A 2 month, 2,000 warranty was also provided which I think is great considering the van was not of the brand represented by the dealership. All in all, they proved the "Honda customer service" reputation.

We had the opportunity to work with Community at two of their locations over about a month. We were in search of a new vehicle but then had an accident which totaled our family vehicle so our needs changed. If I had just worked with the sales people this would have been a 5 star review. We worked with a few different sales people as our needs changed & they were all professional & they worked hard to find us a vehicle that was a perfect fit. With 5 kids the last thing I want is to jump into a new vehicle that's not exactly what we need & want. Our big disappointment was with Kevin in finance. Every time we spoke to him he made us feel like his only concern was to get us to come in & sign paperwork on any vehicle even if it wasn't a good fit for us. He tried to convince us to buy a brand new Honda Civic that we were approved for AFTER we told him our family mini van was totaled and we needed to look at options for replacing it. A Civic for a family of 7? Worst of all when the sales people found us an almost perfect option on a beautiful used mini van Kevin lied to us when we asked him specifically if they had checked a certain feature on the vehicle. When we checked it ourselves & pointed out that he had been dishonest with us he blew it off and didn't even apologize for his dishonesty. I explained to him that we felt committed to working with Community over other dealerships with similar, lower priced vehicles, after the sales people had worked so hard to help us but he really frustrated us when he deliberately mislead us and he had NO response. No, I'm sorry, my mistake, I understand & we appreciate you sticking with us, nothing! He argued with us about the feature in the vehicle asking why it wasn't good enough for our family instead of asking how we could make it a perfect fit. He tried to include an extended warrantee on our purchase agreement after we had told him a few times that we didn't want it. We ended up financing through a local credit union after we got an interest rate that was 9% LOWER than the rate Kevin got us approved for! I didn't really appreciate the way the handle some other things that came up but since I have limited experience with the other issues & limited knowledge on the best way to handle them I'll reserve my feedback. The last straw for us was the day we went in to purchase the vehicle. We sat down with Nate (our awesome sales person) & outlines what we thought would be a good deal. He said he needed to speak with Sam (who we assumed to be a manager). While we were waiting and sitting in the showroom we heard someone yell loudly "they either take it home today or the deal is dead!" Then moments later the same voice screamed "Get out of my office!" Kevin & Nate both walked out of an office at that point and we decided we had heard enough. It was disappointing to hear a manager speak so unprofessionally to their employees & I wouldn't want to take my chances being their customer. We left & bought a vehicle elsewhere. The day after we bought our new vehicle something came up that needed fixed & the dealership we worked with fixed it immediately & gave us a vehicle to drive during the repair. We both agreed we were glad we didn't work with Community because we doubted they would have handled the situation as well.

Friendly staff in service and sales. Brought my car in for an oil change, they got me in right away, gave me their coupon price even without knowing of there being a coupon available. Checked out thier inventory while waiting and the sales staff were nice with helping me even knowing that I was just there for an oil change and not there for an interest in buying a car. When I do decide to trade I will definitely consider Community Honda in Cedar Falls, IA.

I was looking to purchase 2018 Honda HR-V Ex AWD in modern steel. Avery Holmgren was extremely helpful and courteous. He walked us through trim options and allowed us to test drive on the spot. He was a great conversationalist and completely professional. We went to negotiate on the price but unfortunately, we could not agree on what I thought was a fair market deal. Avery followed up with us to make sure if there were other options we could explore. We ended up going with a dealer with a better price. We purchased a 2017 Nissan Murano here. Customer service was great, people were friendly, no one pressed us into buying. Came to an agreement by email. Only a few things that bothered me, was the vehicles interior wasn't cleaned before we picked it up. There was dirt on the carpet and dog hair on the seats. Also, whatever they used to clean the leather left spots. They also should have fill the tank with gas, it was almost on empty. For what we paid for the vehicle, this service should have been included.

My son was visiting from Minneapolis and said he had to get a tire patched recently on his Honda Civic. I wanted to replace the tire and made arrangements with Sam Beavers to get this done. We discussed possibly needing to replace 2 tires due to tire wear considerations. It turned out Sam was able to get the original tire replaced through a warranty and the second tire was not needed at all due to minimum wear on the remaining tires. A $250+ bill was reduced to the cost (around $20.00) of mounting the new tire replaced by warranty. I greatly appreciate Sam checking the warranty on the tires! Sam is a big reason my family has purchased multiple Hondas over the years from Community Honda!

We just purchased a new CR-V from Community Honda and the whole process was quick and easy. We were at the dealership about an hour total. They did not have the exact color vehicle in stock and offered to find and pickup the exact vehicle we wanted. In a couple of days, we had the exact car and decided to trade in our 5-year old vehicle. I was impressed how easy they have made the car buying experience. Negotiation was pleasant and quick. Charge way too much. They originally said 700 for a new starter. Got it done at Highway 57 Auto in Parkersburg for a third of the price. Fast service and don’t try to get over on customers.

We had the privilege of working with Nathan Gull, a very nice young man who had been with the company a little over a year. He spoke with me a few times by telephone as I was out-of-state. I also had good interactions with the company's internet salesperson. The company seemed honest and up front. We got a great deal on a Honda Fit and were impressed by the low paperwork fees. Another Honda dealer in another state had tried to add $900 in fees for doing paperwork, but Community Honda actually accepted our low bid on the car and added no extra fees to compensate. Son had an offer in the mail for an early trade in on a new Honda. Bought a new car (Honda) from them and thought all was good. A month after his new car purchase, he gets a call from the collection agency stating that the vehicle that he traded in that he still owed 427.00 on closing fees. WHAT THE HECK? Shouldn't Community Honda told him that before he bought the new vehicle from them? Called Community and spoke with several people about this and they won't do anything about it. Great experience from the time my husband and I walked in the door to the time we left with the keys to a 2015 Nissan Altima in our hands. Sam Porter and Frenchy were great to work with. We gave them an idea of what we wanted for a monthly payment, they gave us a list of vehicles that fell within our price range and then we went for a few test drives before choosing the one that we wanted. They offered us a fair amount for our trade-in vehicle. They were patient and answered all of our questions.
