Rarely I write reviews. But tonight I have to, the guys at Tom Wood Porsche dealership went out of their way to help me with my car. Great team, great service and great cars!!!
The staff in the service department are committed to getting things fixed right!
My sales agent Joseph is by far the best car salesman I have ever had. I really was impressed with his service!!!!!
The porsche cayenne we purchased was awesome. Richard Sellers is a true gentleman, informative and a great salesman. He is the reason we bought our car. If you go there ask for him, you won't be disappointed.
Tom Woods Porsche sales team could not have made it easier to purchase a car. Easy to deal with and offer fair pricing.
The entire team at TWP is exceptional
Very professional dealership with knowledgeable technicians
Buying the new Porsche Macan was a wonderful experience. Barry Wickliff was very patient with our questions and knowledgeable about Porsche’s. I recommend Tom Wood Porsche and asks for Barry.
Although the place looks super clean and professional, my experiences with the service department are awful regarding wait times, vehicle in the shop for a week every single time regardless of small warranty repair or large warranty repair. Then there are delays with wrong parts ordered by parts department which causes longer delays and missing your vehicle. Delays with vehicle repairs regardless of warranty or not. This is with both our Porsche vehicles. Even when they said your vehicle will be ready or a certain day, it has not been completed on day mentioned. Always delayed. I have now moved onto another competitor that repairs and services all exotic vehicles with better rates, better service, with same day service and more. I would not recommend repairing your vehicle unless you do not mind your favorite vehicle being gone for long periods of time, not knowing exact time or date it will be back and being left outside in the elements while it is gone.
Very good service and facilities. Sales personnel (Matt) were knowledgeable and friendly. Finance manager who did the paperwork was very experienced and personable.
Management and mechanics here are straight up people. Recently picked up a 2011 Porsche Cayenne and their customer service is great. Thanks for all the help and support.
I can't say enough about how great and easy my experience was with Tom Wood Audi. It was quick, easy, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my questions and my needs. They took more than enough of their time showing me each of their Porsche/Audi Models and explained all of the pros/cons of each one. I have also had experience with their service dept, and they were so professional. They took care of all of my car's needs, and answered all of my questions. I even went in there unannounced, and they were incredible. Any loaner cars they have given me for the day have been new, clean, and luxurious. I am confident that all of my future car purchases will be fulfilled through Tom Wood Porsche/Audi.
Matt was very helpful a real professional.
My car needed a 40,000 mile service. The staff were great to work with from scheduling (and re-scheduling) an appointment as well as explaining specifics about what they did to the car. I primarily worked with Tristan - he was great.
Wow, what a wonderful experience. I have never received such kind, genuine service from a car dealership. The vehicle we were interested in on their lot wound up already having been sold, but the salesperson, Barry Wickliff, sat down with us anyway and helped us find a comparable vehicle for sale nearby. I would suggest this dealership to anybody!
Fast and communicated well
Everyone was very friendly and very courteous. The work was finished in a timely manner and I was treated like a valued customer. Excellent operation and I would highly recommend the dealership
Tom and his team went above and beyond for my service.
No complaints. Got my oil change completed timely.
The entire experience of buying a vehicle at Tom Woods Porsche was awesome. Richard was a pleasure to work with in sales, and Brad even made the paperwork more enjoyable with his good humor. I would recommend your team to anyone. Thank you! Chris
I had a broken washer fluid line on my GT4. Tom Wood Porsche had the replacement kit in stock. The tech had it swapped out before the service manager could finish writing it up. Excellent service!
Quick turn around once I arrived.
It was a pleasure to work with John Castle in the service department. He took the time to explain, in detail, any and all issues with my vehicle and answered all of my questions in full. If he didn't know the answer himself, he immediately sought out someone who did. All other employees I spoke to at this location were pleasant and friendly.
John was awesome and helped get me into service over 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Gave me a great loaner.
One of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. The guys who work at this dealership are top notch. Very personable and likable. I drove 5 1/2 hours to this dealership and we do it again in a heartbeat.
Up front disclaimer: I was having a pre purchase inspection done at Tom Woods via the dealer I was purchasing through, so I was not Tom Woods' direct customer. This situation, in hindsight, was a mistake. Because I was not their direct customer, it's been a struggle finding out who looked at my (potential) car and having them call me back with some information. But it's not just that. I am a remote buyer 6 hours away. The PPI report itself was lacking editorial detail and was simply a checklist of what was checked and what was not good. Needless to say, phrases like "tread separation" provide little to no detail at all on what the problem is - is it all 4 tires? Is it riding on the cords? Is the tread straight up separated completely from the sidewall of the tire? Is it driveable but cautioned to replace sooner rather than later? Further, according to the PPI report, the number of overrevs and operating hours were *not* pulled or recorded. This is typical to do when performing PPI on modern Porsche vehicles. Otherwise, the PPI report had no editorial information at all on "is this a good vehicle" or not. There was only information on what worked and what didn't, no checks on the level of abuse on the car or if the car had signs of rework or being in an accident. When trying to call to talk to the person who looked at my (potential) car, I was given, intentionally or unintentionally, a runaround: - I was redirected to different people 3 times, as the first two thought they knew who looked at it, but apparently didn't know for sure. - Two different individuals never returned my calls despite leaving voicemail. - One of them listened to my voicemail, had time to write down my phone number, but not time to call back right away despite me describing this as a 5 minute conversation - One individual said he would have the tech (who supposedly for sure looked at the car) call me within an hour. I never received a return phone call. Needless to say I am not super pleased about this foreshadowing of Porsche's customer service in the future. Update December 2018: Called John Moses, the GM, after his reply here. John was helpful and ensured I spoke to a service advisor to get answers to my questions in the end. Long story short, my fault for allowing the dealer to take charge of the PPI instead of having Tom Wood Porsche report to myself. However, as a potential future customer, I would have appreciated a return call and a statement that information is routed through the dealer and not to any potential buyers as a standard practice for dealer-driven PPIs.
Nice building. Very kind sales associates however when buying a used car, be aware that you aren't really important to them. If you don't spend a large sum there then expect to be treated a little sub par by some of the financial officers.
Matt Porter at Tom Wood Porsche is fantastic. He is the service coordinator. Very easy to get along with. The best sales rep is Bryan Fleischman!
Sales and back office staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and transparent. I will be buying from them in the future.
Satisfied with the sales associates and my new vehicle
Very bad experience leasing a car. They dont fix anything . If you buy their service contract, nothing is covered except for oil changes. EDIT 7/10/2018 I did visit your dealership and i was told lies. Clearly you sell cars and don't live up to the words you say during the sale. I have a $400+ receipt quote from tom wood Porsche that you guys were charging me instead of fixing it yourself. When i bought the car, your salesman words were "Don't worry, everything will be covered except for tires". When i brought the car in, you slapped a $400 quote on me to buff a scratch out.... Wonder if all Porsche's are like that or just Tom Wood....
They are stellar every time I go! Jeremy the service manager is the best. He is knowledgeable and always nice. He knows his product!
Great no pressure buying experience! The entire team was a pleasure to deal with. I have bought many cars over the years and enjoyed this experience the most! Look forward to the next purchase!
Experience has been improving since the 1st time I visited them 2 years ago. New service advisors seem to do a better job. The biggest drawback is their backlog, given the fact that there is only 1 Porsche dealer in town, it’s always a long wait before I can get a service, this particular time I waited more than a month...
Staff there are friendly and courteous. They try to work with you and your schedule to perform work on your vehicle.
Lee did an outstanding job finding the perfect vehicle for us. The transition was smooth, easy and efficient. It was a fantastic experience. Thanks
Excellent service at Tom Wood Porsche. Richard Sellers helped me to get a great deal on a Macan. Vehicle was delivered after brilliant detailing. Looking forward to future business at this place.
We had a great experience buying our first Porsche from Tom Wood. They made us feel like part of the family right away. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They really seemed excited for us!
Great experience with salesman Joe Cordova, responsive communication through text and email. Displeased with the dealership for selling me a car with a bald tire.
Very friendly salesman. Lee was never pushy and met every need or question without hesitation.
Not the friendliest people and wait time was atrocious, for information.
I was looking for my first Porsche in the Midwest and after exploring 4 different Porsche dealerships I ended up buying locally, in Indianapolis, which I’m very happy about. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Tom Wood Porsche staff and this time around I personally experienced it. First, big kudos to Lee and Richard - they were both amazing throughout the sales process and took great care of me. I didn’t absolutely hate signing Brad’s endless papers either, hehe :) Car buying is a stressful thing in general and they made it as easy and enjoyable as possible. Zero pressure. You feel like you’re truly a valued customer which many other dealers state but often fail to deliver. Second, I’ve got a great deal both on my trade-in and Porsche I chose to buy. There wasn’t anything better in the whole country (ok, maybe one car, but it had a weird color combo). I was expecting great deals only from non-branded dealers, but was pleasantly surprised here. It has been a few days and I can’t enjoy my new car enough. It’s amazing all around. I drove an Audi before getting a Porsche and loved it, but this thing is next level. What’s more important, Lee and just about anybody from Tom Wood Porsche are very approachable and are still helping me with questions and other requests, even after the sale was closed (which rarely happens with other dealers: typically, after they get your money nobody picks up the phone). To add, Lee is very knowledgeable about Porsche cars and their quirks and is a true ambassador of the brand. These relationship aspects are what makes me want to bring my friends and loved ones to Tom Wood Porsche to buy their next car. Something other car dealers could learn from them. Lastly, this review was unpaid and I wrote it because I felt like it.
Taking my Porsche to Tom Wood for any type of work is always a great experience. Everyone is exceptionally professional and I’m always sure the best technicians will be taking care of my car. The entire experience is always stress free and a pleasure. They know how to take care of you and your Porsche! Jeremy Rodecap is the best!
This review is more about my Macan than the dealership. I find it rediculous that a 55k car has a $9,000 oil leak in less than 50,000 miles. Shame on Porsche for such shoddy engineering. I immediately traded my Macan for a BMW X3. Let’s hope those “other” Germans have a better idea about how to build a car. Dealership however - when informed of the flaw- was helpful in working towards a remidy.
One of the easiest car buying experiences I have had, excellent service and zero pressure.
Fuel flange recall Repair went as expected. Service manger kept part for me to see the crack on the fuel flange. Very happy with the job.
They were ready at my appointment time and completed the job quickly. I would definitely recommend Tom Wood Porsche!!
My mother purchased her new Audi Q5 here and had the best experience! We were traveling for a while, and Josh Sides made sure to keep us updated with news on our vehicle. Once it came in, he was extremely patient and through with explaining the different features in the new car. Overall, we had a marvelous experience with Josh and the dealership in general. Thanks again!
Went in for oil change, resolve issue about a water leak inside the car, as well as possibly upgrading my PCM that was experiencing intermittent issues. I was informed that my PCM is now locked up so my radio and hands free no longer work. Picked up car and battery was dead due to PCM stuck in a continuous loop trying to reboot which drained my battery. They jumped my car and I removed the fuse for the PCM once I got home. Now I need a new radio.
Great experience and staff was very friendly! They even dropped me off at a restaurant during my service so I could eat lunch and picked me back up! Thank You!
No issues. Nice loaner, people were friendly and efficient. SUV was washed and ready when I came to pick it up.
Went here to have my replacement radio married up to my cars software, although they got it paired up they couldn't get any sound. To their credit they asked if I had more time I did not and they did not charge me for the hour they spent updating software. Great cust service !
It was terrific. Waiting room was comfortable. Jeremy was excellent and was right on top of everything. Service was accomplished efficiently. I think you have a great service department.
Richard Sellers is a true professional, his follow up, professionalism , kindness and customer care set the standard for what it takes to counter many folks' less than stellar car buying experiences of the past. This gentleman represents Tom Wood Porsche in a top notch manner !
Best Porsche store around!
Went to Tom Woods Porsche to purchase a used Camry for my daughters first car, felt a little strange pulling in to a Porsche dealer to buy a used Camry, the cars and the showroom were beautiful ! we were met at the door by Lee the salesman who found the car for me. knowing we had a 3 hour drive back he went out of his way to have the oil changed and car inspected by the Toyota dealer. The girls were encourages to check out all the cars and take pictures in the drivers seat while everything was being processed . Lee , George ,Bill and Barry made us feel as if we were buying the most expensive car on the lot !!
Just leased a Brand new 2015 Audi 2.0T Quattro from this dealership and I absolutely love it! Donnie Jones was my sales rep and he is was very professional and thorough throughout the entire sale, test drive, and set up of all the cars functionality! I would HIGHLY recommend him! Neil..the finance guy was also very professional, kind and clearly answered any and all questions I had. Donnie even called a few days after my purchase to check up on how I was enjoying the car and asked if I had any questions. He is an amazing sales rep and I will be definitely be going back to him and that dealership when I am ready to upgrade as well as for all service on my Audi!
Amazing customer service and Matthew kept me updated on my car and I was able to pick it up in a timely manner.
Lee Douthitt was very helpful through the whole car shopping process. From scheduling test drives to walking me through what was needed at each step of the buying process, he made it a breeze. Thanks again!
The quality of the service department has dramatically declined over the past 2 years.
Tom Wood has always done a great job. Quick service and spotlessly clean car when finished.
Came in to look at a pre-owned non-Porsche vehicle and ended up buying it and trading in an older model Porsche. Even though it was a lower priced pre-owned vehicle, I was treated with respect and the team was great. Bryan and Matthew were very helpful with the sale. Barry came to speak with us while we were waiting and showed us a new GT3 that just came in. Pleasant experience overall and I would not hesitate to come back when in the market to buy.
Both Lee and Jeremy are excellent to work with. I have purchased 3 vehicles from Lee including a Cayenne E-Hybrid. Their professionalism and product knowledge along with the Porsche brand will be the reasons I will continue to purchase from Tom Wood Porsche.
Had Xzilon coating and detail done along with a PCM update. Excellent service. Very friendly. It was a pleasure dealing with this dealership and would recommend them anytime.
Courteous, timely service.
They treat you very well.... even if you aren’t spending $200k!
New to the area and needed a regular service, plus a few minor repairs. I was concerned as my 911 (993) is Air-Cooled and a lot of new dealerships won't touch them. Jeremy, the service manager, reviewed the situation and extent of the work and was eager to help. I was provided a reasonable quote and I accepted it. The crew treated my vehicle just as I would. I feel that these guys are true enthusiasts, this treating my vehicle as "I" feel it should be treated. The work was completed on time, on budget, without incident. I couldn't be happier with the experience. One side note, when moving here, my car was delivered to the area BEFORE I arrived. I was directed to Jeremy to see if he could help. He, and his crew, agreed to accept delivery of the vehicle prior to my arrival. No questions asked. This and a complimentary ride on the service above clearly show that this place has it's "stuff" together and knows what it takes to be exemplary Service Dept./Dealership. Great job guys!!! I will be back...hopefully JUST for a regular service, again soon! Cheers
Prompt service and courteous service attendant, John Castle.
Started on time. Good turnaround. Came out clean.
Staff was amazing, they let me test drive a car that I wanted with no issues
Worked with Lee and George at Tom Wood. They took extra pictures of the car that I was interested in and Lee delivered it to an independent shop for an inspection. Communication was easy and everything checked out, I am enjoying my new (to me) Porsche!
Please allow me to tell you a story of exceptional customer service and overall amazing experience during the recent purchase of my 2018 911 GT3. When I was about 7 years old living in a small town in Indiana, I begged my dad to drive me up to the foreign/exotic car dealerships on the north side of Indianapolis. We did not have much money growing up and I never had a chance to see these types of cars in person, only posters. I remember walking past BMWs, Mercedes, and other marques before arriving at the smaller Tom Wood Porsche dealer. This was 1995 and the brand new 993s were out front, I specifically remember a silver one that I have never forgotten. My passion for the brand had begun. Ever since that moment, I have put myself through college, worked hard, and focused on attaining my childhood dream. Fast forward 21 years, in 2016 I contacted Lee Douthitt, and the amazing team at Tom Wood Porsche in Indianapolis, Indiana, about the opportunity to purchase the yet-to-be announced but highly anticipated 991.2 GT3. Ever since the very first email, Lee has been absolutely amazing to work with and displayed the upmost professionalism. Throughout the two year wait, Lee and I exchanged numerous emails, texts, and phone calls on the status of the GT3, the customized build, and car culture in general. My experience felt very personal, unique, and exceeded all my past experiences with other brands. Once my car had reached the dealership earlier this week, Lee went above and beyond by recording and sending me the entire process of unloading the car, performing the PDI, and prepping for delivery since I was not able to be there in person. I could not be happier buying this car in such a fun, personal, and seamless method. I have since become a huge advocate for Tom Wood; the way they operate and handle their customers could be a model for others to follow. Great companies not only create great products, but also create a great customer experience, personalized for each client. The silver 993 I saw at 7 years old began my passion for Porsche’s products; however, Tom Wood’s amazing customer service has made me a loyal customer for many years to come.
We actually bought 2 Porsche from Tom Wood Porsche and absolutely love them both. Mine is a Panameria and my husband's is a Boxster. I am learning more about my car each time I drive it. I have gotten so many compliments on it. It really catches your eye.
Lee was very cordial, spent quality tine with us, and made the entire purchase process flow effectively. Also our finance contact Brad has a great approach to closing your purchase and I appreciated his demeanor.
My Macan was nearing the 40,000 service. Ernie scheduled my appointment, explained the service, and provided a loaner. The winter weather had the shop a bit backed up, but was in and out in 24 hours including a repair of a safety recall. Friendly and caring service. Thank you, Ernie.
Very clean very nice hospitality they will explain and tell you what's going on just have your checkbook ready
This place has changed over a few times. I previously bought a used car here before they changed their sales outlook and inventory. Same great service with a decent used selection. I ultimately didn't purchase from them because they didn't have exactly what I needed, but I was treated with courtesy and respect like any one else.
Service advisor doesn’t listen. Explained the problem several times. They did not relay to the mechanic or ask questions. After three hours they tried to send me on my way without fixing anything. I asked to speak with the mechanic /tech and he diagnosed in less than a minute, checked that the part was in stock. Instead of being done same day, the 90 minute repair wasn’t completed until late the following morning.
Being an out of state purchase, it can be a bit challenging. All the folks I worked with were exceptional. Special thanks to Richard he has great character and ethics and provided full support during the entire process. Also thanks to Brad and Sandi for the added help with out of state craziness... Brian Franklin, MA
Great service and fast communication.
Worst experience of my life. Go somewhere else! The Certified pre owned 2015 Cayenne Diesel I purchased 10/31/18 has been a perpetual problem and never-ending nightmare, I am considering selling it now to cut my losses. You better take a reliable mechanic with you prior to purchasing (if you aren't one yourself) to assess what you ACTUALLY are buying versus what Tom Woods team will PRESENT to you, get all the maintenance records BEFORE leaving Tom Wood because once you leave, getting any actual info or even a return call back when you REALLY need it is simply asking too much, and don't hold your breathe waiting on the GM John Moses to call you back, at least in my experience he won't. Dishonest people, bad business practices, terrible customer service. Not worth it!! See my Facebook review if you're interested in a detailed account of my personal nightmare with Tom Wood Porsche
This is the first car of Mini Car’s that I have bought, that I truly enjoyed the sales person and the dealership people completely. It was a wonderful experience because the dealership was so thoughtful and so helpful. The sales person was fantastic and kept me in formed of everything. I loved that ... This is one of the best group of men I have ever met at a dealership. They went up and beyond what they had to do for me, they were thoughtful and helpful, and seems to be so friendly and understanding. I cannot say enough about this group of men and this lovely dealership
Great people work at Tom Wood Porsche! Barry always says hi and asks if you like the car he sold you. Jeremy and Amanda in the service depart are quick to offer help, they take great car of your car. And everyone else in the building is committed to you and your car. I know my Cayman S is in good hands when I take it down to Tom Wood.
Jeremy and his crew always do a great job. They take excellent care of my car. Customer service is second to none.
I’m from the southeast and I located a car online at Tom Wood Porsche. I was in search of a specific vehicle and I contacted Lee. We were in touch for a few days and when the car arrived to the dealership in Indianapolis I immediately flew-up to view the vehicle. Lee D. met me at the airport in the car and ultimately after his recommendation, I purchased another vehicle from their dealership. Lee and the team at Tom Wood made my car buying experience pleasurable. Great Customer Service!!!
Always a great experience at Tom Wood PORSCHE. Jeremy (service manager) is fantastic to work with. He always makes you feel like you are important.
Had a nail in my tire. Brought it in without an appointment. Fixed it while I waited. No charge. Great service as always.
Excellent service and support! Always on time and car is presented after service showroom clean.
Great experience, everything went out smooth. Lee was great
Annual service and tire swap performed quickly and efficiently. Service department great to work with.
Great experience. Snowy day but very warm welcome. Get some goldfish crackers! If you are going to buy a car make sure and ask for Lee. Professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. He went above and beyond to work with us.
Friendly knowledgeable staff!
Every it was everything I expected and more Joe was an excellent salesperson no pressure at all thank you Joe Tom Wood Porsche
John, service man, was very accommodating. I really don't know how good the one year service is going to be. The new tires certainly appear good. These are items, for which I gladly paid, after leaving my car (rider offered but not needed) for two days. What I did not pay for, but expected to be done, was the car would have been washed and the residue from the new tires remove. Apparently my expectations were too great...these thing were not done.
Great service. They stand behind their work. Fixed a problem that as caused by a former technician and didn’t charge me.
My Panamera had a leak that required the engine to be removed. It took longer than expected, but they did a fantastic job!!
Service associate John Castle really reps the Porsche brand Listens to the ussue Corrects the problem ASAP.
Kudos to Steven in parts. He is always pleasant, informative and goes out of his way to help me with my vintage 911 questions. He is a true asset to the Woods organization! Thank you again!
This was my first time dealing with Tom Wood Porsche. My air vents suddenly stopped working and it was a very cold day. Initially I called and talked to Jim, who was less than helpful and wanted me to make a scheduled appointment for 12/21, it was 12/8 when I called. I was very upset and complained to the gentleman (Martinez) who was supposed to schedule me. He was nice enough to send my complaint to the service department. Tristan called me immediately and arranged for me to bring my Cayenne right away, it was smooth sailing from there. I really appreciate Tristan helping me, he was very prompt, efficient and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend asking for Tristan when calling to schedule an appointment. It would have been 5 star if I had talked to Tristan first. For Jim, I would definitely had taken my car to someone else if Martinez hadn’t listened to my complaint.
Bought a used challenger, price was good and so was the service, pretty good dealership
Awesome people, awesome products. Would defly use them to buy again!
Great staff, not pushy at all. Good job.
The folks at Tow Wood Porsche couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. My car wouldn't start in my garage and I felt totally helpless. I called them, had it loaded on a tow truck and they were ready for me when I got there. They even took the extra care of keeping my car to be sure the repair was done and the problem wouldn't replicate. I've always had great experiences with the service department. Thank you guys!
I needed a service done at short notice and they got done within 2 hours. Fantastic job.
GREAT service, as usual. Quick and courteous!!
Very polite, very helpful. Really went out of their way to make the experience a good one. I was very impressed by everyone with whom I had contact at Tom Wood.
Just a great experience. They explain everything and you never feel rushed. Soooooo nice.
We purchased a used Honda Pilot from this dealership. After a 3 hour, condescending sales pitch (in which we didn't really get that great of a deal) we left with the car. Turns out that they let customers (with two little kids) leave the lot and drive 2 hours home with a seized brake caliper, destroyed rotor, and pads... and we're lucky we got home safely. The dealership sprung for part of the $2,000 repair, but not all of it, nor would they cover a rental while it was in the shop for a week. We've also noticed it now needs an alignment. In addition, we noticed right before we left that there weren't even any floor mats in the car. We were promised them, but no one has responded to our numerous follow ups about them, so we'll have to purchase those ourselves, too. I reached out to the manager a week ago...no response. I guess if you're not buying a six figure Porsche from this dealer, you're not as valued as a customer to them.
Great staff and wonderful amenities, seating is comfortable and the sales process was fast and pleasant. Everyone should purchase their vehicles from a Tom Wood dealership.
2/15/2019 - Took my Cayenne due to water leaking in behind the dashboard and into the passenger's side. It was fixed the same day. Service was excellent.
Very helpful service representatives and easy to work with. All service completed as requested.
Excellent service ! Mr. John Castl explained every steps to me, and addressed all my concerns, solved my problem. Love to continue havv service in future at Tom Wood Porsche. Bing Lafayette
We were stranded by the tow truck in Indianapolis. I called Tom Wood and they sent their head service manager out to try to start the car. When that failed, he took my partner to the car rental agency so that we could have a way to get home. He then arranged for someone to tow the car to Tom Wood for service. In my opinion they went far beyond the normal care given customers. Jeremy and Todd were great.
Mr. Richard Sellers Porsche Brand Ambassador made the out of state purchasing experience fabulous. He was exceptionally responsive to emails, requested photos, and any issues of concerns with a satisfactory resolution. The deal was real, handled professionally, on-time delivery, and no sale games were played by the Staff. Very relaxing stress free purchase.
My first Porsche purchase, Lee my salesperson went above and beyond! What an amazing experience!
The Service personnel (John Castle and John Moses) are extremely helpful and accommodating ; the service work is truly outstanding! Great place to bring your Porsche for the care it deserves
Very nice folks. Lovely space.
We had our first experience with Tom Wood Porsche. We were treated so well! Car was returned on time. Very kind and honest dealership. Highly recommend!
Great experience in service. Very professional! Definitely would use them again. They go the distance and then some. Thanks for the great service.
Great experience from the time we entered the door until we left with our new Porsche!
Great experience! Sales Rep was awesome, polite, professional and NOT pushy. Will most likely cash purchase vehicle we looked at within next couple weeks if not sooner.
Very disappointed in my experience. I bought my dream car, 2009 Boxster, the experience was great with the sales team. I was asssuered it had undergone a thorough inspection and it was ready to go. I put the top down and drove away a happy new Porsche owner. Less than 5 miles away the windscreen between the bucket seats flew off into traffic and was destroyed. It wasn’t attached correctly. I was told by Tom Wood Porsche too bad it’s a used car and my responsibility the second I pulled off the lot. Really! So much for that great Porsche inspection assurance. The salesman offered to pay out of his pocket for a new windscreen, kudos to him. I thanked him but didn’t take his money. It’s a principle thing. I have been remiss for not editing my post sooner. With the reply below from the manager I am changing my rating to 4 stars. Responding to critizism in the positive way he did is what sets some dealerships way above others. Thank you Tom Wood Porsche.
Tom Wood Porsche takes great care of me. Awesome customer service! Very professional.
Recently had Tom Wood do a PPI on a Porsche I was looking at purchasing. Just want to say that Matt Porter did an excellent job answering my questions and had excellent feedback. Dereck did the PPI work and they did a thorough job. Ended up purchasing the vehicle and had a first service done. Excellent communication and attention to detail. The team provided a high level of service and I would highly recommend them.
As always my experience was superb. On the day my car was to be fixed they were short 2 technicians. Todd called me and, upon hearing that it really would put me in a bind to get my Porsche back tomorrow, he took it back personally and fixed the problem. I was not surprised as that is always the type of service I have received from Tom Wood Porsche. They are always prompt, competent, and truly seemed dedicated to pleasing the customer. I would without hesitation recommend Tom Wood Porsche service to anyone.
I brought my Cayenne GTS in for an oil change and repair “road rash” on a couple of my wheels. John Castle was my Service Advisor and he discovered that the wheel repair would take 2 or 3 days to complete. John was able to arrange a loaner car until the service was completed and the quality of work was exceptional. Lastly, John did a fantastic job of following-up with me and delivered the service on schedule.
The service was done very well and the car was spotless when it was returned.
I had the best salesman ever and he really made the porsche experience the best!
I love this dealership...Always Kind...Always courteous. ... over the past five years Jeremy has been my service guy, and he has been amazing. New to the family this time was a gentleman by the name of Nick. He was just as brilliant. Buying a Porsche &it’s experience is phenomenal .... but I never thought that maintaining my Porsche and getting his routine visits would be as hassle free & pleasurable as it has been......Kudos to Tom Wood Porsche for putting two brilliant guys on their service team.
Everybody really was very nice and accommodating. I was actually pleasantly surprised how well they worked with us to make our deal happen. Bryan, our salesman was outstanding and super knowledgeable.
It was a shakey experience when I first showed up at the dealership. But as time elapsed I became more comfortable with the dealership. The finance manager was great and made me want to change my previous lender to one of Tom Wood lenders. He sold me on the loan and car. I bought the vehicle and is very satisfied with both.
excellent car buying experience and customer service
Just got my 911 back and am very pleased with the work that was done. My windshield was recently damaged and needed to be replaced and I wanted custom paint for my badging. My experience working with both Todd and Tristan was top shelf. I was able to text questions at will and felt high touch throughout the duration of awaiting the completion of the work. Feels good to have a responsive, professional, and flexible staff that caters to you. Job well done Todd/Tristan/Jeremy! Jason A. Riley
Traded in our old car for a newer used car here. Good dealer to work with. All the people we dealt with were very polite and professional.
I just took delivery of a pre-owned Cayenne turbo this week that I bought through Lee. I was a bit anxious being in Dallas, TX and buying a car from Indianapolis, but the simplicity of the experience put me at ease. I think the entire process took me less than 10 minutes between a few phone calls and signing/shipping paperwork. The car even arrived a day early and the condition was as expected.
Easily dropped off vehicle. Provided updates on service. Complimentary wash was appreciated.
I discovered Tom Wood Porsche on the north side of Indianapolis after my cardon shaft went bad when I hit a pothole on the 469 loop. They had me out the door and back on the road within two hours! Since then I have been back twice. Each time I got a very good diagnosis and recommendations. I would go back again because this is one of the best dealerships in the USA and I have been to quite a few all over the United States.
Hands down the best car experience myself and my husband have had to date. Ask for Barry Wickliff- he is beyond knowledgeable about all of the vehicles and his interest is in getting you in a car that makes you happy and comfortable, not in the sale. He has such a pure heart and you’ll feel that as he’s helping you navigate through models and options. We’ve always been an Audi family, but are extremely excited about our transition to Porsche. Thanks for the amazing experience Barry!
They were very quick to get me in for an evaluation. The problem was the transfer case as we expected. They said they would place the order for the part and call me when it was in, that was a month ago. We are very concerned that our car has not been fixed yet. (And I didn’t even ask for a loaner. )
Great people and excellent service.
Truly exceptional and superior service. John Castle was accommodating, understanding and very communicative. I have had my Porsche serviced at numerous Porsche dealerships across the country and John and his service team are superb.
My wife and I were going to look at another vehicle at another car lot, but it was sold. Since we were in the area we decided to go to Tom Wood Porsche to look at the 2010 Infiniti EX35. We met with Bryan Fleischmann who showed us the Infiniti and after test driving it we decided to buy it. Brad Roberts did all the finance paperwork with us and answered all my questions. Very satisfied with our vehicle purchase at Tom Wood Porsche. The added bonus was being able to see some of those Porsches up close. When I win the lottery I’ll definitely be buying a Porsche from Tom Wood Porsche
I am writing this review based on my experience with their service department. This place is full of incompetent mechanics and rude/irresponsible managements. Here's what happened. 1. Scratches were left on my car's interior panels after I got the interior panel reassembly service from Tom Wood Porsche. 2. Their service department refused to admit that it was their doing, arguing that the scratches somehow magically appeared but they will fix them for my customer satisfaction. 3. I visited them once so that they can fix this, but some of the scratches were still remaining after the treatment. Also, one rubber part of the panel had gone completely missing. 4. I visited them once more and this time they repainted a number of panels newly. 5. However, the painting was done with a different color. It's very visible. 6. In addition, I found that a part of the interior panel was just broken. 6. Now the service department is refusing to reply to any of my emails or getting any of my calls. I wonder whether this is a proper way of doing a business.
Joe was a very knowledgeable and patient salesman. Everyone I met, the new car sales manager, the business manager (Brad Roberts), the service advisor and manager, were all enthusiastic and kind. The car speaks for itself, and the people behind it are great.
I am not sure what happened to this service department. Whole staff team has changed. I used to deal with Todd and Jeremy. Their responsiveness has dropped significantly. I got my car towed on Wed morning of last week. I heard that it will take a couple of days to get a tech assigned . That is ok. But no one calls me on status so i had to make calls on last Friday, Sat, this Tuesday, and Thursday. No one has proactively called me back after leaving 4 messages. I had to call every time. Just left another message of course. Today is Friday. The car has been there for 8 days with no updates. Btw, Tom Wood audi service is really awesome. They go above and beyond their duties to get things done. Give you txt messages for regular updates and call you back quickly. Not sure why the experience is so different between the Porsche and Audi dealers.
John Castle once again got me set up in no time for an inspection. Very thankful for that as they found a serious tire problem that would have been disastrous at highway speed. Thank you
I recently purchased a used 2004 BMW as a first vehicle for my son from this location. Even though my sale yielded very little profit for Tom Wood Porsche, I feel that I was treated as if I were just as important as a customer buying one of their beautiful $215k floor models. I would like to thank them all- from the sales agent to management- for their time and attention. I will definitely be spreading the good word, and Tom Wood Porsche will be the first location I turn to when it comes time to trade in my own vehicle for a new one!
Had good follow-up on lots of issues.
Great service experience, as always. Work was completed on a timely basis and for the price indicated. Friendly staff and great cafe lattes, too.
Very helpful staff. Beautiful facility. Comfortable
John Castle did a fantastic job getting my car taken care of. Even being short handed he was able to give top notch service. No doubt, Tom Wood Porsche will get all my service work! Update, 1/22/2019 Another fantastic job by John Castle and his crew! Every time I'm in for service or repairs, I feel like I'm the only customer they have. Obviously, I'm not. My annual service is due soon and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. These guys make me feel as special to them as my GT3 is special to me!!
Easy transaction and good support during delivery process . Highly recommend
Came in to pick up a new key and they were able to get me in right away to program it. No need to make an appointment and come back. Excellent customer service right there.
I was traveling through Indianapolis when I had a flat tire. The customer service and Sales staff were so courteous and tended to all my needs . This is the second time I have dealt with Tom Wood dealership. They treated me like a life long customer rather than someone passing through. I am very impressed with their customer service .
Nothing less than an absolute gem in the Indianapolis/carmel area. Professional and intriguing from the moment you step on the lot. Great customer serivce and an absolute motivation in my eyes. Do yourself a favor, go ahead and stop by you won't regret it. If i could rate the entire lot from service, products & aesthetics with 6 stars instead of 5 stars, I would give them 10 stars!
I had a GREAT experience with the men who helped me: Lee and Rod. Both were very patient, knowledgeable, kind and they even have a good sense of humor. Both were extremely responsive to all of my questions and they did not make me feel foolish for my "girl" questions :) I received personal service and attention, which is generally lacking in many businesses today. Customer service is fantastic. They went above and beyond my expectations in the purchase of my vehicle. I also enjoyed working with Nadine in the paper process. She too was very friendly, happy, knowledgeable and courteous in our interactions. I definitely would refer Tom Wood to my family and friends and I look forward to a long history of doing business with these folks.
Very accommodating
Great place to buy a car.
