My past experience with the Quick Lanes center was positive, however my experience with the Ford service center was negative. My scheduled appointment in the morning was ignored and my car sat all day without being serviced. I was told if I wanted my car looked at, they needed to hold my car overnight. However, I was also told I would need to pay for my rental in the interim, because they hadn’t determined if my car needed service yet. I would not recommend the Ford service center

I took my car in for an air bag recall and transmission service that required a free rental car. Work was completed in a timely manner and my car was washed and the gas tank was topped off to my surprise. Staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the service that was done.

I came in to have my oil changed and a set of new tires. I have to give a shoutout to Harley Meeker, he was the service advisor who worked with me through the whole thing. He was very patient, looked up exactly what tires I needed and was very professional. The technicians that worked on my Explorer were very quick and efficient. With all those things done, I was out in an hour and a half. And I didn’t have to deal with having tires shipped anywhere or any extra work. Harley also worked with me on tire pricing and we were able to figure how to save me a few dollars! Everyone I worked with there had a smile on their face and was very pleasant. I will definitely be going back for my next oil change and pending break pad change as well. Thanks to everyone at Tom Wood Ford for their outstanding technicians and customer service (especially Harley Meeker).

Long story short.... I pass every dealership from Seymour, IN to Fishers, IN just to get to Tom Wood! Staff is friendly, professional and most importantly they are knowledgeable!! I have had real bad experiences at other dealerships on both the sales and service side of things! That being said, after two vehicles from Tom Wood, and dealing with they’re excellent service staff, I’ll make that drive every time and never go anywhere else!

Zero stars if I could. I bought a 2010 Audi A4 from Tom Wood Ford in September of 2018. I was coerced into buying a $1500 warranty on bald $700 tires. I was lied to and deceived. I was told the warranty was not a warranty, but in fact, new tires and floor mats. On that basis I agreed to purchase the vehicle. 2 months later my mechanic discovered 6 broken control arms (from poor tires) and that my tires were “legally bald.” Before writing this I reached out to Mike Hume and Tom Wood Ford, where I was repeatedly sent to voicemail. I called and left voice messages only to have my call returned once. Eventually I ended on Tyler, the sales manager, who refused to help me in any fashion. My dad, his company, my mom, grandfather (who worked for Ford), and my company all have purchased vehicles from this dealership on a regular basis. I can assure them from the conversation I have had, that they will not receive business from my family or the company I work for. They did a good job of lying and cheating a 20 year old college kid to make a quick buck. It’s unfortunate it’s going to cost them a large buck in sales. I will be following up with Steve Berta (Investigations Team Leader with Indy Star). Save yourself some grief and do not purchase a car from this dealership.

They are underhanded and play dirty. I reserved a car. When I went to drive it the salesman said it was sold because a tech in the shop saw it. They have the right to take it away from a customer. I couldn’t believe it. I had a check in hand and told salesman I was buying it. I just wanted to test drive. I couldn’t get there till the afternoon. I was floored to say the least. I have bought my last 4 cars from this dealer and have never been treated so unfairly. I knew Tom Wood and he would be discussed.

I came to Tom Wood Ford with a less than ideal situation. Not only were they accommodating, they helped me evaluate my options and worked with me in getting into the vehicle I was after. During the process everyone was super helpful in answering my questions. Besides a new vehicle, I even walked out with a better insurance policy, thanks to their in house agent’s guidance. I recently purchased a vehicle from Tom Wood Ford. Initially the service was fine. I had looked at the website and had favorited a couple cars that they had on there lot, and was called by them a few minutes later to set up a time to come in and take a look. Which I did feel was convenient. However after getting to the actual lot the following day things were a little different. I felt extremely rushed throughout the entire process. Comments were even made back and forth between employees about getting me out of there faster. Not for my benefit for theirs. After getting the vehicle home some important key factors that I made extremely clear I wanted in the vehicle were not included. I’m extremely dissatisfied with this business and how every employee I have spoken to has handled this situation. I highly recommend staying as far away from any Tom Wood dealership as you can!

Made an appointment for 11am with Tom Wood, car sat for 31hrs (granted not all were working hours) and it hadn’t been looked at. Every update I was told it hadn’t been looked at. Why did I make an appointment? I had to take PTO for my car to sit for over 24hrs. Dewayne was very nice and apologized for the delay. They were clearly overbooked. I picked up my car without having it serviced. Not my first bad experience with Tom Wood/QuickLane but unfortunately this was the “straw that broke the camels back”. I will not be back unless there is a recall. Sadly, I was all about Tom Wood until yesterday.

The true art of the deal is to find a mutually agreeable way that gets both parties most of what they want. For the first time ever, I was in a negative equity situation and my sales guy Mitch Tate worked with me to figure out a way to make a deal where they sell a car and I get out from under my old one in a way that won’t just kick the can down the road for the same thing to happen 3 years from now. The Mazda guys blew me off, and Mitch saw an opportunity and to his credit, worked it. Very pleased overall. A+

Horrible experience! Sale department was great, I guess because they want your money, but they are nice; however, the service department not so much. First they couldn't even put a piece of the door trim on my car correctly. I had to go back three times to get this done. Second when I took my car for a diagnostic they assumed I was gonna get it done there and when I went to pick it up they kept saying they didn't have the key and I needed to go back another day. The only reason I took it there was because I bought this car not even 20 days ago and it already broke down. They said they could not help me and that it was my problem for buying an used car. This place is not reliable. I bought a $25000 car that broke down two weeks after I bought it. Horrible cars. DONT BUY HERE.

I came into the service dept for a routine oil change and some light warranty work on my 2019 Ford. My initial encounter with the service tech was poor. Erin was quite dismissive and wasn’t interested in my concerns about my car especially the warranty work. She didn’t take my name, or information down. She then escorted me to the quick oil change department and left. I was quite perplexed. I wanted to discuss my warranty concerns with my new car. The oil change service tech indicated that it was lunch time and that Erin was at lunch and unavailable. My oil was eventually changed and the warranty work completed and I was given an opportunity to discuss my displeasure with my initial encounter with Erin.

They really went the extra mile and set me up with an Uber to get from work to the dealership when I needed to pick my car up.

Could not leave 0 stars. This was an experience from 5 years ago, so hopefully the "salesman" in question is fired by now. I had an appointment with a salesman, who even called a few hours before to confirm. I was on time, but the salesman was no where in sight. He came to his own appointment at least 20 minutes late. I was driven to their offsite lot(?) to test drive the car that I was interested in. When I kept pointing out all of the scratches on the doors, he lazily said that those would "be taken care of." This person did not try to engage me in conversation as I drove, and seemed reluctant to answer any of my questions. I was selling myself the car. Back at the dealership, when I inquired what I could receive for my current car(an admittedly old car), he actually laughed at me, and said "How much did you expect to get for that?" I ended up going to CarMax, where from the moment I stepped in the door, they were ON TIME, professional, and didn't treat me like a little girl. They also took my old car in trade, with smiles and NO condescension. I will never come to this place again.

Had to get new key fab for car. Took 2 days for them to program the keys - cost $580 (had to get two). On the way home I realized they did not include the valet key on the keychain and had to go back to get it. Please seemed mean and aggravated that I was trying to get a key fab - but, that’s needed to drive the car. We have a Honda and Toyota. Much different service perspective from those companies. Didn’t feel warm and fuzzy. Felt like i got taken advantage of and they were laughing after I was gone.

Since it was in the shop for a few days, I was given updates every day on the status of my vehicle. Would consider this for regular maintenance as well since the customer service was great.

Every time I have ever brought my car in to Tom Wood Ford for service it has been a fiasco. The last time I brought it in it was on a recall notice. I had an appointment at 9 AM on a Wednesday to drop my car off for a service that should have taken less than an hour and a half. They had my car until Friday at 2 PM. And I only got it back by 2pm because I got so upset with them. It was unbelievably inconsiderate of them to keep my car as long as they did while doing zero work on it (until the last minute). Note that I was in communication with them since Wednesday night trying to get my car back. They kept reassuring me that it was getting really close to being done… they were flat out lying to me. Obviously, they had not even begun to work on my car. Terrible customer service every time

I was told I wasn’t approved for my loan. He pulled some strings to get it “approved,” but made my interest rates out the roof and did not tell me. Everything except that went well. Test drive was good, he was able to answer all my questions, etc. Just really bothered my mother and I that he didnt tell us some important information about billing.

Tom Wood Ford On 96th Street is an awesome place!! All the staff was nice and helpful. I mostly dealt with a staff member named Maddy. She kept me updated on everything and was super sweet. She is really good at her job. They made sure my car was safe before driving off the lot.

Purchase was fine. Service department blatently lied to me multiple times regarding repair to newly purchased vehicle. Would not return calls as they said they would. Sent my car to a different dealership to have the work done. Then refused to pay what that dealership was charging, and told me they will send it to a "aftermarket" shop to do the work. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Update... Received car back finally today. 7/2. Was dirty from greasy, sweaty hands all over glass and chrome trim, Headliner was not properly installed, hanging down in back. Overhead console is loose, and was returned with chip in windshield. Aftermarket rear camera was placed on cheap plastic license plate frame blocking the trunk lock so you can use the key. Absolutely THE worst service ever.

This is the second time we have used Tom Wood Ford over our usual Ford dealership. Unlike our now previous shop, Tom Wood was able to get our vehicle in the last minute of the day with a broken break line. After checking the issue I was offered such a generous price for the repair I went ahead and replaced my front breaks and rotors which they also did for a great price. During all of this the service department was very understanding and informative. The quality of work is outstanding. We live on the south side of Indy but we will be driving to 96th & Keystone Tom Wood Ford Service for our mechanic work for now on.

Offered us the complimentary car wash and even made an effort himself to take off the stickers of the dealership we purchased our cars at when we asked if at all possible if they'd remove them. He even went out with the de-greaser to take the adhesive off. Tom Wood Ford and Quick Lane will always be our go to for the customer service and quality of products and services provided.

This was my first visit to Tom Wood Ford Quick Lane Service Center with the F150 I recently purchased. This was a great experience. Harley, my service representative, was friendly and helpful in scheduling my services and helping keep my kids entertained during my wait. The truck came back clean and the vehicle report card I received with my “Works” service gives me a good snapshot of my vehicle’s condition. I’ll be back.

I purchased a used vehicle. Before I purchased the car, i was told nothing was wrong with the car. After looking further into the vehicle , the check engine light was on, and the brakes were in horrible condition that was not safe to drive. Eric, the car salesman’s Guaranteed that if I purchased the vehicle, they would fix the brakes, and the sensor that caused the check engine light to appear. I agreed to the deal. I signed a contact that stated Tom Wood Ford would fix these repairs. When I tried scheduling the services, I was told that they could not find the contract stating this, luckily I kept a copy for myself. I scheduled the service not even a week later, and not the next day because they have to order a special part to fix the sensor. When I brought my car in, no one ordered the part even though I was told the part would be there by the time I brought my car in. I was also informed the only tech that could repair this sensor on my car was not even there. My brakes were fixed, but then I was told they could not fix the sensor, and they would call me to reschedule or transfer me to Penske dealership down the street. I called over 15 times to speak with Jordan , who works in the service side , who tried to help. Jordan was the only staff member that was pleasant to me. My calls were not returned back until I demanded to speak with Mike the service side manager. I had to leave two voice mails for him to call back. I felt once I bought the car, everyone washed their hands , and made me feel this was my problem. I was told that they would have Penske fix my sensor, they will call to schedule it, and then notify me. They Never called them. I ended up figuring out what sensor was needed, and call Penske myself to schedule the repair. I provided my written agreement with Tom Wood Ford , and they immediately worked me into their schedule, and fixed my car. At this point I washed my hands with Tom Wood Ford. When it came time to register my car plates, the BMV told me that Tom Wood Ford failed to register/ request title with my name . I was driving my car that was legally under someone else’s name . I was told by the staff at the BMV To not drive the car until Tom Wood Ford submits the title request. My plates just expired . I went back to Tom Wood Ford, and cried my eyes out. No one felt sorry or even apologized that they BROKE THE LAW , and failed to submit the title within the 45 day grace period. I stated since they broke the law , they should give me new temporary plates until they resolve the issue. I was told No, but they would follow up with the manager who submits for tittles. I am biracial , and I felt that once I bought my car they treated me like I was trash! I felt like most of the staff members looked down on me.I always remained pleasant and calm until the issue with the title. They refused to call me to follow up, I had to follow up daily to check the process of my title. I have bought 3 cars before, I have NEVER EVER been treated this way. I REFUSE to go back to TOM WOOD FORD, and I plan on publicly tell people my story so no one else goes through this.

Happy with repair but feel it should have been done under warranty. Both Wood and Spillman had looked at the problem while it was under warranty and didn’t find anything. As soon as the truck went out of warranty the running board motor went out. It would have cost me $1300 if I hadn’t purchased an extended warranty.

I called and ordered parts for my 2016 Explorer Sport that had a valve cover gasket leak. I told the parts department the year, make, model, and trim level of my car and told them I needed the gasket and new spark plugs. They told me they had both the gasket and plugs in stock. When I asked them to confirm the part number of the spark plugs he said SP-520. I told him that was incorrect and that it should be SP-534. He said okay and still gave me the wrong plugs. AND the wrong gasket.. they didn’t have it in stock naturally so I had my car torn apart with no parts. Left me stranded while my car was waiting on the correct parts they claimed to have the first time.

my experience at Tom Wood Ford was excellent. My experience with the central call center setting up this appointment was not the best. I was told that the replacement would take two or three hours. When I reach Tom Wood, I was told that it would take several days.my car is a 2010, and it was understood that the entire dashboard would have to be removed. The lady at the call center knew that my car was a 2010. She could have informed me of this when I made the appointment. If she did not know, she should have. Please make sure that the people you put on the front lines with the public are educated about what they are telling us. But Tom Wood itself was excellent.

This is the THIRD used Ford Fusion I’ve bought from Tom Wood Ford, so obviously I like the dealership. I shopped around at other dealerships for a Fusion, but ended up at Tom Wood due to the selection of Fusions available. While I heartily recommend the dealership to others, I do NOT recommend my salesman specifically (I will not name him here). He epitomized the “used car salesman” persona. Do yourself a favor and ask to speak with the Sales Manager directly to avoid the runaround and used car salesman spiel. The Sales Manager was highly professional and we worked out a deal in 5 minutes flat. As with any dealership, go in having done your research: have pre-approval, know the fair market rate for the car you’re looking to buy, as well as the fair market rate for your trade-in.

I had my Ford Motorhome towed there because of a breakdown. I went to inspect the next day for any issues from towing. Towing service did an excellent job no nicks scratches or damage. Tom wood called a few days later and said it was repaired. Upon arrival the rear bumper was damaged as either someone hit it or they backed into something. They assured me it wasn’t them. Long story short they basically have refused to do anything about the damage. I will never buy or shop at anything to do with a Tom Wood Dealership. The repair they completed but failed to reattach the under panning in the front. When I heard a weird noise while driving home I pulled over and on the interstate reattached everything with zip ties. Thanks Tom Wood for making my next purchase easier. It won’t be at one of your facilities.

Horrible experience. Will never have service work or do business here again. Poor communication throughout the time my vehicle was in for repair. Didn't order parts when they said they would, thus delaying the work. Didn't call to tell me status of my vehicle after stating they would let me know when it would be ready. I contacted the service manager and as I was on the phone with the manager, who stated the Service Advisor had called and left a message for me earlier that day (he hadn't), the Service Advisor called me and left a voice message that my vehicle was ready. Nice try. Went early to pick up my vehicle the next morning and as I was walking out the Service Advisor informs me that they were unable to detail my vehicle. They had it ten days!! This was something I stated was important to me and they didn't perform the work. Then to add insult to injury, when I get home, I find they have left discarded parts that they replaced in the vehicle. Complete disrespect and disregard towards any sort of customer care or satisfaction.

I didn’t know what to expect, didn’t want to get charged for anything out of pocket, and had a bunch of questions. Mandy made my experience seamless and very enjoyable! What a ripoff, Asked to have key fob programmed to Smart junction box. Several days later, no call. called , they rushed it in and didn't even do what was asked. They sold us a key and programmed it. We got the vehicle back had to borrow a colleagues' scanner and program it ourselves. I originally took it back to the dealer I bought it from to be repaired where they told me the car was made defective and can't be fixed, so I took it to Tom Wood Ford in Carmel, IN, that same week where they assured me it would be fixed ASAP. They did this and was extremely nice and careful with my car as I left it there over the weekend and even allowed a technician to drive it home over night so he could experience the issue. Overall, personell service was great. I did buy an as is, used vehicle, but the team treated me and my family with great respect. My concern now is it has been less than 24 hours and my transmission light has come on and is flashing. Indicating a malfunction. I have not contacted them yet, but am sure there is nothing they can and will do for me. I believe that ,though, there is no warranty with this vehicle, but major issues that occur within a small window should be covered and owned by the previous owner. I will let everyone know how this experience pans out. So, I researched the issue and found out it may indicate a dirty air filter in this model year. I changed the filter and the light went out, immediately, and with no further problems. I would have to say , also that a sales rep. has tried to contact me after my initial post. However, with finding and fixing the issue so easily, I have not reached out to him. I would like to thank everyone and Tom Wood for their time and service.

I've taken my car here several times for oil changes and have always had a pleasant experience. Most recently I came in for a routine oil change and after it was completed, my car was having difficulty idling. After they did some experimenting they finally figured out what the issue was. I would highly recommend Tom Wood Ford to anyone after my experience there last Sunday. I had a flat tire and needed to travel home to Evansville. They were the only Ford Service center that was open on Sunday, so I didn't have high expectations. When I called, Brittany was very helpful. First off, I don’t believe I got a great deal. Second, they were fast to contact me before the deal was made. After the deal was made and I had an issue they never responded. Also, 2 months after the trade I was contacted by email stating I needed to obtain my trade title and send it to them. I also had fees stating I let my insurance lapse from the vehicle I traded. They already sold my trade in but it was still registered to me. I emailed them back and of course I got no reply. I also had to pay around $800 for my tags. I guess this was not included in title and tag fees.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! I purchased a 2017 f350 from Tom Wood Ford a month ago. When I went to look at the truck I was showed a Carfax saying the truck was a 1 owner truck that had never been wrecked. After noticing a few things on the truck I got my own carfax. Turns out the truck has been wrecked and came from Canada. I called my salesman's Jordan, he told me that he remembers showing me the carfax and I need to come in and talk to a manager. I went in Saturday morning and talked to Tyler Shogren the general sales manager. He told me that he would do his best to make this right. Tyler Shogren called me back a few days later. Tyler informed me that the original carfax I was showed couldn't be found and that he couldn NOT do anything for me. I told Tyler Shogren and Jordan I wouldn't have bought the truck if I knew the truck had been wrecked and wasn't a local trade. This is my 3rd truck I've bought from Tom Wood Ford and going to be my last. I understand that people make mistakes but Tom Wood Ford is not willing to fix a mistake that was made on their part. So with this being said i would purchase from a dealership that is willing to stand behind what they sell. I've called Mark Hume 4 different times over 2 weeks and left him voicemails. I've never gotten a phone call back from him.

I had made a reservation for the oil change one week prior...I was asked if I had any other concerns...I explained my concern which was listed on the reservation confirmation. Upon arrival I was told that TW had too many cars ahead of me and I would need to leave mine "two or three days" for them to look at it. I got a bit perplexed and told the tech I wasn't able to do this and would need to go to a different dealer for help. This seemed to change things...I was taken to another Tech who was able to get my concern checked out and get the oil changed in under 1 1/2 hours...I went home happy. But what a rough start!

The only negative is cashier too busy in her phone and I had to get her attention. A little bit more direction as far as where I pickup car etc. I think she thought I was a regular customer to the store. In addition my mom owned the car and purchased from your dealership but shortly passed away. I have owned the car for more than two years. Your dealership was insistent that paperwork had to go through in her name even though not her car. Just change the name when appointment set. Very goofy and uncomfortable. On Saturday, July 6th, I brought my trusty 2002 Ford Windstar into Tom Wood, without an appointment, in hopes that someone might be able to at least visually examine the brakes. Vibration in the pedal, a hard pedal, sponginess--all were warning signs that something was very wrong. When I arrived immediately learned that there was only one tech on duty, that there was a backlog of forty cars, and that someone might be able to see me the next week (or the week after that). I must have dome something worthwhile in previous life, because the service representative, Ms. Mandy May, took pity on our situation [the van is our only transport and brake these brakes issues were alarming]and said she could at least get the brake fluid changed and have the tech do a visual inspection of the system. Two hours later the tech, Dominic--who remembered us and our van from previous visits--reported that he had found the problem. It was a partially disconnected hose to the reservoir. He replaced an O-ring and tightened the connection. It was an elegant solution to what could have been a vastly more expensive proposition, and it was only possible because of his expertise, attention to detail, and meticulousness . My wife and I are both very grateful to Ms. May and Domininc. They represent the highest level of professional service, and Tom Wood is fortunate to have them. By the way, van now brakes beautifully. Subpar service. Asked for oil change and tire rotation. Had complimentary oil change due to prior over charging (8 qts vs 6 required) and complimentary tire rotation since tires purchased at that location, yet was being charged $59+ for the service until I had service writer dig a little deeper into notes. Once he found the note, he zeroed out the invoice. Upon arriving at home I noticed the brake dust on front wheels was heavier than the back suggests they did not do the tire rotation as requested. No need to call me. I am going to use a different service other than Tom Wood Ford Quick Lane.

I scheduled an appointment last week Friday @ 2PM for an oil change and look at my sync issues ( bluetooth and gps randomly not looking). As soon as I got there I was told they were backed up and would not be able to look at the sync issues that day. Ok fine, sucks but honest and it can happen even though I went thru the effort for an appointment. But it took 2 HOURS for my oil change. So my schedule bought me an end of the line oil change. I was told to drop the truck off this morning between 7-8am to look at sync issues. I got an uber to work from them, which is ok but no rental anymore?? So surprise they cant look at it today. So appointments don't matter nor do morning drop offs. And I buy an upper 50K vehicle here and I only get an uber and incredibly long wait that is likely going to be "resolved "by resetting sync and then letting them know if it happens again. Just not the experience I expect when spending this kind of money on a vehicle.

Service was good and fast for my recall, and everyone I spoke with was very nice. I did have one issue where I was told by two people that the appointment would only take two hours or so, but when I callee the day of after waiting about that time, I called and was told these type of services usually take at least half a day, so that was a bit confusing. Overall great service though.
