Took my brand new Buick in for its 1st oil change and tire rotation. The work was done properly and my vehicle got a complimentary wash. The problem was it took 2 hours! I can understand it taking awhile if I had just dropped in but I had a 10 AM appointment. They apologized but spending 2 hours in the waiting area was not in my schedule.

Recently divorced, I was stuck with a vehicle that had a hefty payment, with years and mileage that I feared would lead to $$ repairs I couldn't afford! I also have a 140 Bull Mastiff, Max, that I take almost everyplace with me. I needed something that 'fit' us, a new vehicle with a great warranty, hoped to drop my payment, but wasn't sure I could get financing. Needless to say I was shocked to hear I could have it all! I could not have been treated better, and so was Max! Duane contacted me and invited me to come test drive an Outlander Sport, and told me to bring Max! When we arrived, Alex was waiting for us and I could not believe how nice they were and how great they treated Max! They made us feel right at home! Doug made financing easy and fast . . . he even let me bring Max to the signing! I have never felt so comfortable buying a car! Had the transmission replaced on my 2016 GMC sierra elevation (there went the tax return) I've put 100 000 miles on it last year using it for work and its been a great fuelefficient comfortable ride. Jim Worden was great keeping in touch with me communicating the progress of repairs and making other arrangement by email text or phone while I was continuing working across country. Too bad it started out good and it's gotten worse because of horrible service since I purchased a used car from them! Car is fine but when I bought the car they forgot to get my second key fob which they left at another dealership further down the road a mile or two. Said I'd get it in the mail in a week or two at the most.........3 months later nothing! I've contacted them 4 times leaving messages to both the salesman and the front desk. I do not look forward to going in since I live north of Indy but I'm not happy with the lousy service!! I want to talk with the top along with my salesman and the front desk person. I think I was patient but now I'm irritated! Do not buy a car from any Ray Skillman if this is how they treat customers! Plenty of other places to buy a car from new or used.

Shayne was an excellent salesman and I really appreciated all of his help in getting my wife and I into our new Chrysler 300. Shayne wasn't only great though the whole dealership pretty much blew me away with their friendliness and willingness to help out. The only negative comment was with communication. My car was in for routine maintenance. I was there at the appointed time yet it still took an hour and a half to perform an oil change. I also needed some alignment work done and that took another half hour. I would have appreciated someone giving me an update as to what was happening with my vehicle. All in all, the visit took over two hours to complete.

Colt Key, Jason Clarke, Jake Merril, Tyler Miller, were the employee’s that bent over backwards to help make this transaction possible. Colt Key is the General Manager of this location and is the most professional, good hearted man I have ever done business with. Its very rare to have so many people fighting for an approval for you and these guys will! I have awful credit and to find a lender to approve me is very difficult but Colt made it happen! Alright where do I start. Well let's see I bought my truck with them 3 years ago and the experience was amazing. Ok, so we decided to go with them again to trade in my truck I bought from them for a newer one. The first guy I had acted as though he didnt want to sell me a vehicle and never would give me a price on my truck I wanted to trade in. Also a while we were doing that we were having them work on my truck and let me say this the guy I was dealing with was the worst. He just kept calling us telling us something else had broke while they were fixing it. And one of the time he hung up on me cause he didnt like that I was wondering why they sold me a warranty that wasnt even for my truck. Then when I showed up to get the truck he wasnt even there. When I was driving the truck home they hadn't even fixed the problem at all. So what the heck were they doing for over a week with my truck. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Ray Stillman GMC Southside to anyone. This has been the worst experience I have ever had and will be the last time I ever go back. I'm taking my business to Columbus Chevrolet.

I brought my car in to have an oil change and the battery changed. I was told that it would cost $155 when I dropped off the vehicle. It seemed low, but I who was I to argue that point? So, I left my car with them. Mind you, the car is running again, so there’s that. They got that much done. Unfortunately, the very next day when I picked it up, that price had magically changed to $351. Now, I understand that when I’m told “approximately $155,” that means there’s room for it to go up. I get it. However, there is no reason that such a simple service job should go up $196 overnight. To make matters worse, the cashier called over three other people to “try to explain the bill” to me. Girl...I’m not an idiot. I can read an invoice. What I cannot do, is recommend that anyone use this establishment’s service department. Unless, of course, you enjoy paying far more than you were quoted. Needless to say, Mr. Skillman has lost my business in the future. Of course, they won’t notice my absence, but I’ll be much happier not being swindled.

Great sales staff. Traded car i bought through them, waiting on a GAP refund. Was just told policy canceled on 8/14. Could be 4 to 6 weeks to get my refund. But they would try by end of the week? Was also told they faxed/emailed paper work to company. Nine days afterwards,called AG, they had never received paperwork. I emailed paperwork myself.

The repairs done to our 2012 GMC Terrain were very costly, but because we purchased an extended warranty when we bought the vehicle, all we had to pay was a $100 deductible. We did, however, have to rent a vehicle because we were told there were no courtesy loaners available. This was at a cost of $255.00 for the three days we didn't have our car.

I brought in a 2017 Acadia last fall to have items under warranty looked at. I purchased a part and was told they would call me within a week when it arrived, as well as, to schedule an appointment for my wheels. Several months later, I’ve followed up with them on my part and was told they can’t locate it, but someone will call me the next day. I’ve yet to get a phone call for the purchased part, to schedule the warranty on my wheels, or even an apology. This is a clear example of theft. They took my money without a part or service in return. As I heard the servicemen say during my appointment, it’s all about numbers. They service hundreds of people a day. They obviously do not care about customer service, which is a shame for them. Little did they know, we were about to purchase another new vehicle, but due to this, we took our business elsewhere.

I scheduled an appointment online for an oil change/tire rotation. There were several options available. When I arrived I was promptly greeted. The check-in process was quick and I was invited to wait in the customer lounge. I hadn't been there in awhile and was quite impressed with the changes they had made to the lounge. The chairs were comfy, there were plenty of phone charging ports around, and they offered snacks and drinks for the waiting customers. They had me in and out within an hour-and they washed my car for free!

Purchased a 2016 Yukon Denali, while driving it home noticed irregular transmission shifting & a rumbling vibration. Notified them as soon as we got home. Took it to my regular mechanic to do a thorough inspection. They noted the hard shifting and brought to my attention the TSB's that GMC has on that year and model. When I brought the vehicle back in to Ray Skillman for service they said that they did not noticed anything with the transmission, but did they did go ahead and perform One of the many Technical Service Bulletins that GMC have posted. (reset the adaptive driving). A few days later they sent me an email asking me to give them a 10 on the review request that i would receive from GMC, I responded and told them that I could not do that because I was still having the issues and they did not fix anything, nor did they perform the other TSB that is specifically to fix the hard shifting & rumbling issues. They scheduled for me to bring the Yukon in again (30+ minute drive for me). before confirming the appt. I told them that I did not want to waste my time again, if they were not going to fix it then there was no need. They assured me that they would take care of any issues. After about 6 hours they called said that they found nothing wrong, they did not feel anything with the shifting or rumbling. They completely ignored the paperwork that i gave them from my regular mechanic (who is GMC certified & approved) that lists the TBC to fix the issues. The vehicle is under warranty so I do not understand why they did not perform the work. They said that 3 guys drove it and none of them felt or heard anything at all. Well, I do, my husband did, my mechanic did, and my friend did as well. We have owned several GM & GMC vehicles including a Yukon none of them have ever shifted so hard, or rumbled when driving between 40-50 MPH, the RPM needle continuously fluctuates, even at a complete stop. The people are professional & well mannered and the facility is very nice and clean. When you ignore an issue that your customer is having with a vehicle that was just purchased and cost over 50k you are just asking to lose them as a customer forever. The specific TSB that was Not done is PIP5337E - Flush cooler lines and cooler, replace transmission filter, clean pan, magnet, & replace torque converter.

Let me start by saying I understand vehicles lose value. But today I took a truck to be appraised for a potential trade or buyback that I paid 54k for 2 years ago. Mind you this price included some stuff that can't be valued in with the vehicle. But today when the dealer appraised my truck they offered me literally half of that. Half! I didn't go in expecting 40k for the truck but with its condition and additions to the truck I would have gotten something better to keep my future business with the dealer. It is what it is though. Hubler is right next door and though they won't offer me much more their starting number was a bit better and I've never done business with them. I suppose I'll have to move to them first with my future vehicle purchases as I suggest you do as well.

I came to your dealership for an oil change, filter and lube. All went well until I paid my bill and the cashier call to have my car brought up front. She called several times. No one came. She called several more times. No one came. She called several more times and a man came to get the keys. She asked him if he was the only one here and he replied that he had just arrived. He took the keys and left to get my car. I waited 5 minutes and returner to the cashier to be sure it was my car he had gone for and she said it was and it should be there any minute. I waited another 5 minutes and again returned to the cashier who again replied it should be any minute. After another 7 minutes my car arrived driven by a different employee than the one who had taken the keys. It seems to me that it should not take as long to get my car returned as it did to get it serviced.

My recent visit was super great, went in for an oil change, I love the fact that you send me reminders because I had no idea when I was due next. I did not have a sticker in my window, and I am a single mom and work and go to school, so I greatly appreciate the reminders for all services actually. Long story short, I left with a $0.00 invoice, I am not sure how that happened, but all I can do is thank God and your company because every dollar saved matters. I went in today inquiring and sat down with a woman that said her partner would assist me with the appraisal of my car. He starts getting MY info off the computer and writing it down I realize I don’t live at that address so I advise him of that so I take over writing he had already wrote my social security number down. I told him we are not credit checking anything until I feel comfortable and if I am interested in purchasing a vehicle from them he assured me he was not running anything. He gets the appraisal back and advises me if I want something lower than 400$ a month it would not be a SUV. So I told him I’m not interested I’ll stick with my car for a few more years. Exchanged hands and said thank you for your time. I get home to a email saying they ran my credit!!! Um I specially told him I didn’t want no credit check ran unless I was going for something. How rude and very poor customer service!

Salesman Mike Larsh was very nice but not at all knowledgeable about vehicles. The finance team is absolutely horrible! I listened to some guy talk for about 20 seconds and walked out. A customer should not be treated like just another number when purchasing a 30,000 dollar truck. I will taking my business to Columbus Chevrolet.

I started my car search a little over a month ago, I went to 3 different dealerships before I came to Ray Skillman which I so badly regret! I was looking online when I received a prompt response from salesman Josh Sterrett who was by the far the BEST salesman I have worked with! I can be very stubborn to work with and Josh took all the difficulties with helping me find the car for me without being that annoying pushy salesman which is usually what you get. Took my 2019 3500 HD in for routine maintenance. My service advisor, Jim Worden was amazing! Jim kept me up to date as service progressed on my truck. I had a couple of questions regarding some add on equipment. Jim tracked down the information and costs quickly. The service department did a thorough check of my truck and provided me a written copy. The service waiting area was very clean, with free coffee, donuts, canned soda and bottled water. Plenty of large screen TV's, newspapers, large tables for laptops, recharging station for electronics. Overall, I am very pleased with my service advisor and service experience! I'm very disappointed in the service here. My husband spoke with Zack about a vehicle. Told him what year. My husband said we would be up to look at it and we are 2 hours away. When we got there, Zack greeted us. He went to go get the car. We waited for at least 20 minutes. Another sales person came up and told us it had sold. Then come to find out it was 2 years older than what he originally stated to my husband. Then the sales manager came to us with a car that was being traded in but wasn't their's yet. How can you offer a customer a car that's not even yours! No thanks Ray Skillman. You can keep your cars and big car dealership.

Very nice and friendly place. I had a great experience. My salesman was Derrick Stogner. He was very funny and helpful. He spent a while helping me find the perfect car for me given my situation. The managers there are patient and they are adamant about getting you in the car that’s right for you. I didn’t feel like they were pushy, which the typical car salesman is. I loved the store, love the selection, loved the people and atmosphere. I don’t know much about cars, and I often call Derrick every time I have questions. He still helps me as if I just bought the car again. Highly recommend everyone works with him.
