Everyone there was very nice and helpful I just didn't like the fact that I bought a 2017 vehicle with 30,000 mi and I had to buy brand new tires 2 days afterwards because they were so slick that I slid everywherethe service guy said the tread was very bad he was surprised that they didn't put different tires on there before selling it but I was the one who had to pay for it not very happy ☹️

They got my info from some fishing company they use and called me and setup a appointment they asked me what vehicles I was interested in I not only gave her (Liz ) three different model vehicles I was interested in year and price range , and on the call I told her they didn’t have a wide selection of the vehicles I was looking for online Liz then assured me they had 15 dealerships with plenty of stock that doesn’t get listed she reassured me they had several models of the vehicle I was interested in. I then told her I work 12 hr shifts my only day of was Saturday and I would hate to drive a hour and 10 minutes with gas at $2.84. Needless to say I made the long drive in some pretty bad weather to be greeted at the dealer like I was a stranger with no appointment then the first thing the salesman tried to do is run my credit. I tell him to stop and ask him where the particular vehicles I was interested in was at he starts laughing and says I sold that to my buddy yesterday. I then sit for a hour for them to tell me none of there car lots have any of the three cars I was looking at and that they pretty much wasted my time and all they could say is we dropped the ball. Then as I’m leaving the salesman makes a sly comment laughing. I give this place a zero no stars customer service is horrible and they didn’t even offer me a gas card for wasting my time after all there failed assurances.

When I looked at the vehicle I decided to purchase I had a couple of concerns with it, which were that there were some chips in that paint on the hood and that the struts were making a little noise. They told me that the struts were fine and that they'd fix the chips in the paint, so I purchased the vehicle. After I got the chips in the paint "fixed" it didn't look nice at all and it didn't last more than a month because the paint has peeled off yet again. I called to see if they would do anything about it and they were very rude to me and said that their mechanics wouldn't do a "bad touch-up on the paint." The struts continued to make noise too so I took it to get looked at and the mechanic told me that they needed to be replaced even before I had purchased the vehicle. Overall I am very dissatisfied with they way I have been treated and will take my business elsewhere when buying a different vehicle.

They are very friendly salesman and sales women to work with. No high pressure , which is something I love! They have an excellent Buy Here Pay Here program was plenty of great cars. They send them home with you as if they were brand new, and they make sure they run and look brand new. The service department is very clean comma friendly and very upfront with the fees you will be charged for the maintenance of your vehicle. Their prices are very fair and they will never steer you wrong. I recommend this business to everybody I know it was looking for a good vehicle.

After dealing with David Schimmel the first time I needed a vehicle, I decided he would be my go too man for any further purchases. Unfortunately my wife’s car had died on us and the first man I called after being told the cost versus value was David. David immediately set up an appointment later on in the evening that was convenient to both my wife and I. We walked in to the dealership and met Mr Schimmel immediately. I explained to him our budget, wants and needs, and type of vehicle. He pulled up a list of vehicles that met our criteria. I picked a few out and we went for test drives. Not once did David seem upset I was taking multiple test drives or asking a million questions. After awhile, David and I agreed on the perfect vehicle. While doing the paperwork, David had the car detailed and washed so when I got in it, it felt as if I was in a new, never owned vehicle, and not a pre owned. Excellent service, excellent communication and excellent experience. I would recommend David to anyone.

After filing a chapter seven bankruptcy, I had received many "opportunities" to go and get a vehicle of my choosing. However, the vehicle of my choosing and the way I was treated at multiple dealerships was unbelievable. I decided to go to Ray Skillmam North East Buick GMC to try my luck there. The dealership itself is one of a kind, but the staff couldn't be better. I walked up to the dealership and was greeted by David Schimmel as he opened the door for me. I had no idea what car I wanted, except for it to be an SUV. I was just desperate to get in a vehicle and get to work. David expressed his understanding of my situation and assured me, we would get a vehicle that I liked, and what I wanted even with the bankruptcy in my case. We went to his desk and he asked me a few questions, but it wasn't about cars! He asked me more about my hobbies, what I do for a living etc. After a few minutes of talking, David pulled up a red 2017 Jeep Patriot with less than 10,000 miles on it. I immediately fell in love with the vehicle, as it had everything I wanted and more., Somehow he found what I wanted without me having to think about it. After the test drive, he personally went to work with the finance team, and didn't leave their desk until he could find a loan that wouldn't break the bank and ensure a trust worthy bank to give me the loan. David came back with a Josh Falcon and had me approved for the Jeep, all in a days time. I signed the paperwork, but it wasn't over after that. David then took my Jeep to get detailed again before I left the dealership, put the temporary plates on, AND turned on the heat so the Jeep would be ready to roll when I went out in to the cold weather. After leaving the lot in my brand new Jeep, I felt comfortable that I had made the right move going to Ray Skillman North East Buick GMC.

They keep saying there is nothing wrong with my car but there clearly is the check engine light won’t come off and the back tire keep make a noise then it stop and starts again. And everytime I take it to service they don’t hear nothing or there’s nothing wrong. I even have the noise on video you can hear the noise. I can feel it in the brake and gas pedal and when you look at the back tire you see there is something wrong because it looks different then the others so I’m going to have a real mechanic look at it. And see what’s really wrong because this is ridiculous I’m paying for a car that’s messing up in the matter what of 2 months. The buy here pay here he just don’t wanna pay for anything because he know they saw something was wrong with the car when they sold it they just come up with excuses and they also been code clearing which is illegal. I would know go there Kieth Cooper gives rayskillman a bad name right along with they weak as cars he selling. And I call other rayskillman buy here pay here and asked them who puts the warranties on the cars they are said the dealer does so that mean Keith is pocketing the money. I was/am very dissatisfied with this company. Not only did they sell me a 2014 Optima that I've had to service 7 times in the last 10 months but their customer service in the Service department is ridiculous. Jay was NOT helpful at helping me get my brakes looked at for the second time since I've owned the car. He was very condescending as if I knew nothing about cars. I've already had to get a new engine and steering column because of Ray Skillman not inspecting the car before I purchased it. Now I'm stuck with a car that has problems every other month and a car payment for a car I dont want.

Service department staff are not as friendly as they should be. They do not offer loaner cars but they offer a shuttle service with in 10 miles (i work on the other side of town). The customer waiting area is nice they offer coffee and tea and water. And snacks!

I was told by Onstar to call Ray Skillman N.E.GMC and get an update on my truck's Wifi system. I called Saturday morning and they got my truck right in. That was amazing on a Saturday. Part One- Arrived, was greeted and found my name listed on the board at the reception. My appointment was for 2:30, I arrived at 2:40. The person I was there to see, Tonya, had five appointments listed from 2:30 to 3:30, not sure how she was going to work with all us within an hour. I really did not mind initially because I was just there to discuss possibilities. The person who greeted me offered me a drink, I accepted, and he handed me a warm Pepsi out of the mini fridge. A couple of more minutes went by and reception paged Tonya again (because she told me she did not believe the first guy did it right) and then she came out. I started working with Tonya, (who kept calling me “girl” like she knew me) and within a few minutes Ryan came over, introduced himself and asked for my keys to see my car. He went to see my car and came back with my registration. He had taken it out of my (very messy glove compartment) which means he dug through my things to get it. Tonya came back, I talked with her a little more (as her other appointments arrived, she would get up to greet them). The second time Tonya left to greet her guest, Gary came over to introduce himself and then he asked me again for everything that I had already discussed with Tonya, who he called Amber a couple of times. While talking with Gary, Josh (who is only a couple of feet away sitting behind the desk with several other people), behind the desk begins yelling over to me about my trade in and my very personal credit history. I looked around and asked him to just tell everyone my situation- this may have been the moment that Josh decided he would really show me- oh well. The fourth time Amber/Tonya came back, I told her about what just happened and then I watched and listened to her go over and tell Josh what I said. Josh barely looked at her while she was talking to him (I guess she was trying to be discreet) and Josh shrugged his shoulders like “so what” and continued to work. I remained seated where I was close to Josh and the other guys at the desk, while listening to their comments about all things- some not totally appropriate for customers- maybe they need some personal space to talk freely, IDK. As their voices got lower, Josh came over to apologize for blurting out my personal business and speaking loudly in general. I did tell him it was okay, because based on how he shrugged Amber/Tonya off, I was surprised he would even think to acknowledge his behavior. Another 30-40 minutes went by, at one point I offered to come back since Amber/Tonya was so busy. While I was sitting there, my old car dealership emailed me to thank me for my inquiry and said they would be calling me soon-Strange because I never contacted them. Eventually she came around and told me that Josh was finished with my application and that she had a car to show me, she loaded me into a white 2019 Buick (I told her I wanted a used car) and after actually taking a screwdriver to unscrew the license plate holder to add the dealer plate (never seen anyone do this for a test drive) sent me on my way alone to test the car out (never experienced this when trying to buy a car, but I figured she was just too busy to assist). Now the fun part

They told me I had been pre-qualified at Ray Skillman Greenwood. I didn't want to drive down south so I decided to go to the one on east Washington. I thought they would be able to pull up all of the information that I had gave the Greenwood location however they said that they could not do that. They had checked my credit about 7 times within a week. The finance guy did not even want to see me at first because of my credit. When he did come out to talk to me he was trying to tell me that the deal he offered me was the best for my circumstances. When I turned it down he told me that I would not find a better deal. Maybe I should have went to Greenwood. Everyone seemed uptight very unprofessional.

I arrive there with intent to meet Zip (great salesman he had me laughing wothin the first 3 minutes). He was the one who reached out to me because my lease was about to be up on my 2016 Buick Verano. Zip introduced me to Paris who was also great & funny. Zip did all the computer work and pulled the car I was interested in which was a 2019 Buick Encore. Paris and I went for the test drive & I LOVED IT. After great conversation and a long wait pizza and breadsticks I went to see Walter. Walter got all the financial logistics together (he even took a pet call whole I was in the room and got a better deal) I walked away with the SUV i wanted. My experience was long but worth it. I didn’t mind the wait at all. Everyone that I was working with was awesome and very helpful. No complaints.

My credit is not the best, so as I have started to rebuild i have dealt with getting what i can afford not what I have wanted. Tyler assured me that he could come up with a plan to get me in the car I wanted, at a payment and price that I could afford. I told him what I wanted and he gave me a target down payment. He stayed in constant contact to help and make sure if a better deal on what I wanted came along. Now I am in a way newer car, the one I wanted and am so happy. The best part is that I know i can afford it and not feel guilty or ashamed to be rebuilding my credit. Never did I feel pressured to buy the car and he understood that it had to be the right fit, he could have pushed a different car just to make that sale but, my happiness was number #1. If you know you are not in the best place credit wise and knew you will need a new car, talk to Tyler, he will tell you honestly what it will take to get where you want to be. This is what a dedicated salesperson should be.

Our experience with Ray Skillman dealerships has been excellent over the years. We just bought a truck from the Northeast Buick location. Our sales person really listened to our wants and needs and did not try to push a different vehicle. He didn't have what we wanted on the lot, but found the perfect one and immediately brought it in for us to see! The financing experience was just as positive! When car shopping we will always make our first stop at a Ray Skillman location.

First time getting my vehicle serviced here. After checking in, and settling into the lounge the service advisor approached me. He then badgered me about why I wanted to get my vehicle serviced, and why I wanted that service done at that dealership. I explained that the service was overdue on the vehicle and that I get my GMC serviced at GMC dealerships, but that answer wasn't good enough for him. VERY disrespectful, a customer sitting by me got up and left after watching how he talked to me. What a horrible way to conduct business. I highly suggest not bringing your vehicle here. I do not recommend this place.

Yeah dont even get me started on theese crooks. They sold me a wrecked car without telling me it was damaged. So now my hood has to be strapped down becauseit was not repaired properly. It looked good when i bought it but less then 9 months later the hood tries to fly up on the highway

Dillon Ruggles and Kristen Miller were both awesome to work with. They made my car buying experience very easy and enjoyable! The finance guy was cool, too! I just can't remember his name at the moment. My only issue was having a crack in my wind shield that I was told Ray Skillman would fix. However, when the windshield company came to my home they advised it had already been filled so there was nothing to be done. That's not cool because now I feel misled. The chip is small, but if the sun hits it just right it shoots off a glare that makes it more noticeable, not to mention distracting while driving. Since its something that I'm told I have to live with it could make a difference in whether or not I purchase from this location again in the future. The staff is extremely nice and I love the vehicle otherwise, hence my 5 star rating!

I was interested, bought, and returned a 2007 Pontiac Vibe from this location. This experience is the WORST experience that I have ever had in purchasing a car. The "product specialist" had no idea about the vehicle and constantly talked the entire test drive. I was then handed off to David Shimmell to close the deal. David lied three times about mandatory add-ons. First it was the Ziebart protection that had already been put on the car and so that increased the price. Once the financing was approved he showed me the financing amount that was 1200 over the agreed price. He said it was the mandatory GAP insurance and warranty that the bank was requiring. After questioning him, he came back with the original price and said it was included. Then when he brought the purchase agreement out the total price of the the deal was 3,000 more than agreed. He said it was the mandatory gap and warranty. I told him I was not paying that for the car because it was not worth it and either we needed to change the deal or I was walking. He went and got his finance manager to talk with me. They kept trying to talk payments. I was not interested in the payment amount because I would be paying this off quickly. He removed the warranty and gap and I signed the new purchase agreement. There was an issue with a paystub apparently and they had to wait to sign the finance papers. I drove the car home. Once I was home, I really did not like how I was dealt with. I called the next day and was lied to by the sales manager. I then talked with the general manager and was told accurate information. I told them that I would get the car checked out before I signed anything. My mechanic checked out the car and said it looked good. I signed the paperwork the next day. Two days later I noticed oil spots on my driveway. I insisted they take back the car. After being told that I did not know what I was talking about, they agreed to the return. A week later the loan still has not been reversed and is showing on my credit report. So they will see my lovely face again tomorrow! Pray for them!!

VERY VERY UPSET at the fact the salesman wrecked my vehicle into one of their own cars. Its the last day of the month and they are really pressing for a sale. The car i had for the past 2 days didnt work out for me so i told them i would look elsewhere. I repeatedly told them i needed to leave to be able to make it to work on time, so they offered to allow me to drive a car that may work out for me. i didn't really care for the model, but they insisted on hopes i may end up liking it. Coincidentally, it was the part owner of the store whose car it was ran into! They acted like it was no big deal and offered to fix it. Currently waiting for the police officer to show up to make a report. I would never recommend this place to anyone. That isnt how you do business nor keep business. Will never be back!

In 2017, I went to the buy here, pay here section of Ray Skillman Northeast. I was lied to about the car I had purchased (A 2008 Nissan Sentra with 136,000 miles). I was told that the car was a 2012 Nissan Sentra (sticker of 2012 in the car). After the purchase, my mother and I checked the VIN number and found out that it was actually a 2008 Nissan Sentra. Currently, I pay $175 a week ($350 a month) for a car that continues to depreciate. By the time, I pay this car off which is in 2020. The car would be depreciated to less than $500. Every time I try to pay the car at one of their dealerships (he has more one), I have to call this place and ask for the buyout amount. The amount is ridiculous to still higher than the depreciation of the car itself. Also, the engine light came on three months after my purchase after the manager at that time (2017) indicated the car had everything replaced. People beware of the buy here, pay here section and sure to check the VIN of the car you are purchasing.

My experience here was awesome. I am a first time dealership buyer; I have had 2 other cars, but I bought them from people offline. This process to get a new car was very different from what I had been through before, so a lot was confusing and pretty overwhelming.
