Just a lot of bad. It would take a book. Ran into A LOT of people who had had similar issues after we started having problems. Just wish we would had heard those kind of reviews before buying from them. Owner screamed at my brother when he instisted the real issue with the vehicle be found out instead of superficial patches being done. We are not perfect, but we always tried to be respectful but firm when wanting things fixed (and always willing to pay what they charged). We almost always got yelled at and plan rudeness from service department.

We have bought 3 cars there. The first two we had great experiences. This last one we bought in Feb. And have put less than 8,000 miles on it. They talked me into a warranty for $2000. Had an appt at 10am and took it in Friday. I called them towards the end of the day because they never called me. The guy said they had not touched it yet. What's the use of an appt? Then they call me today and tell me a list of things that are wrong with it. They also inform me that nothing's covered by my warranty. They said ball joint, tyrod, thermostat assembly, and catylac converter needed worked on and replaced. Ridiculous! Your telling me they didn't know any of this just 9 months ago! They took advantage of us!

I haven't gotten a car from them yet and probably won't get approved, but it's ok because I appreciate how the lima store took the time to call and at least try many ways to work with me, I already paid off two cars recently wich lowered my score alot wich I wasn't aware of how that works but anyways I already know that buyin a used car will have some type of problems so I just get it fix and keep moving because every experience in the used car businesses ain't always going to be pleasant so good luck to everyone

Is there an option to give negative stars? I will NEVER purchase anything from this dealership. I called tonight for a price on a minivan and when they asked me what I was looking to spend, I told them there were a few in Ohio for a certain price (there was actually one in Lafayette for even lower) and the guy said he would have to put me on hold while he checked...the problem is he forgot to put me on hold...I got to hear just how disrespectful and dishonest these people are first hand. He came back on the line not knowing I had heard his whole conversation about how I was making up the price of the other cars and I confronted him about it. He paused for a few seconds then came back with a price 4000 dollars higher than what you can find anywhere else. If you want to be disrespected and made fun of behind your back when you buy a car, go to Preferred Auto, if you value integrity and honesty go somewhere else.

Ben was the tech & Brandon was the advisor. Brandon told me that I did not need to replace anything that the other dealership told me that I needed to immediately take care of. I was working with Cody Martin and Jim Roberts. I came into the lot and was told that I could possibly walk away with a vehicle that day. Jim was running my credit and came out to talk to Cody and I as we were waiting. I explained to both of them that I was in between jobs, I was told that not to worry about it and let the bank do their thing. Cody came back and told me that I was approved and had me sign all the buyers paperwork and gave me a paper plate. I put full coverage on the vehicle right there in the office. Seven days later Jim calls me and tells me he has bad news, I have to bring back the vehicle that I deeply wanted. I was devastated and ask why, his reply was that I wasn't approved. HUH?! Jim said that he could try another bank. Two days later I get a text to bring the vehicle back, NO PHONE CALL. Then when I should up to return the vehicle Jim is no where to be found. Supposedly, he went to lunch at 11 am. I spoke to Kyle and told him all I wanted was my check back for the deposit. They refused to give me my check back and then explained to me that the accountant sent it to the bank. Every bit of this experience was upsetting. I have never came across any thing like this before and I WILL not recommend nor return.

Service section is a ripoff! Very bad experience! Went there just because I had bought my car from them and the sales guy Paul was great. But service guys, over quoted, diagnose fee is high, I had the repair fixed at another shop for half price!!! N guess what I figured out a day later that the engine bay floor pan (plastic protector) was taken of the vehicle and never put back. I went back in back and it was there!

6 months ago I was looking for a vehicle and contacted Preffered Auto because we had done business several years before and I felt that they were decent. However nobody seemed interested at all in helping me and I moved on to another dealership who was interested in having me as a customer. Now I'm getting phone calls and emails asking me about the vehicle I want and even though I gave them my name and had been a customer before they couldn't even be bothered to get my first name right and it's not a complicated one. That alone would make me stop going there because if a car dealer can't get my name right when it's all there in front of him then in my opinion he's a poor car dealer. But that is a small thing and I admit maybe I'm making it bigger than I should but I can't ignore the fact that over all that time they weren't interested in me at all and suddenly after so much time almost anyone would have already gotten a vehicle, they were interested to the point of multiple calls and emails. Add to this the fact that the couple of times I called before to find out about vehicles they were rude and acted like I was a burden. Excuse me for wanting to be a customer. Maybe I didn't want to sort through all that inventory online and just wanted a quick answer to what was available. Maybe I didn't have access to a computer at the time. Maybe I prefer doing business over the phone and in person. No matter what my reason for calling, rudely directly me to the website instead of just answering me is a quick way to lose my business. Just plain bad business practices. I won't be back and I discourage people I know from going. In the interest of fair play I would like to point out that at no time have I ever thought they were dishonest or trying to scam anyone. When I got a vehicle from them before I found the experience to be quite pleasant and that's why I tried to go back. Too bad they didn't want me.

I have bought 2 cars from Preferred Auto on Lima Road and have been blown away with how fast the process was. I am a very picky type of person and If you don't have what I want I have no problem dismissing you entirely. My salesperson took down all of my needs and wants and directed me to a 2012 Lincoln MDX and a 2011 Audi A5. Well done!! This place is a rip off. Took advantage of my 59 year old widowed mother. She was by herself when she purchased the vehicle..which the salesman assured her was a "nice little good running car". She had to put brakes on 2 weeks later. Eight hundred miles later tyrod, ball joints, catalyst converter and thermostat assembly went out. I thought they checked the vehicles out before they sold them...Of course the warranty they sold her covered nothing on the list..They just took advantage of a widowed older lady. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND sending anyone there. Very dishonest salesmen!!

Purchased my first payment plan car here. Purely choose this dealer out of all the others because of people I know bought from here. I walk through the doors without any real expectations of what a dealership is like. Immediately Josh Blackburn introduced himself and we begin talking about what exactly am I looking for. After a few minutes or so, we take a stroll out on the lot and I test drive a few of the cars. After deciding the car I wanted Josh goes the back, then returns to the desk (Where I was waiting). Says this is what we can offer you, I refused. So Josh went back into the office later returning with a better deal. TL:DR... Dealership has a lot of good looking cars / trucks with low miles... First and foremost, Cody was great in communicating all the way through the purchasing process. Shorter after i purchased the vehicle i ran into mechanical issues in which i should have been aware of. Jim failed to communicate with me when i approached him regarding the situation and i always got a, "Hey Taylor, i'm with a customer, can i call back?" in which i'd always say, yes, until i realized it was a pattern of never getting a returned phone call. Lack of communication-- Not to mention, less than a week after i made my first payment, i was hit with over 3000$ in service fees. Be aware, and make sure to have your vehicle 100% looked at prior to purchasing. Very disappointed and would recommend taking your time and money else where.

Im extremely disappointed here. I called Tuesday to try to buy a car. No one called me. I called Thursday and they said they couldnt find the file. Then called today and I get told I need $1500 for a down payment. Now why did it take 3 days to figure that out? Also I understand I just got out of bankruptcy but dont send me a letter stating that its a great time to buy a car after bankruptcy. Stop trying to tell people that. Also u knew that I had to come up with a down payment. Im really upset. I would say just make sure u know what your doing here. SMH...

I WAS TOLD THE GM WOULD CALL AND SURPRISE SURPRISE HE NEVER DID. I THEN ASKED FOR THE OWNERS NUMBER AND WAS TOLD NO!
