Went there for a switch, had to order it, was told they would call when it came in but never called. Went back and was told it was never ordered. Went to auto zone, part was in stock and cheaper. Service is important but I didnt get any.

CAUTION: I took our 2013 Traverse to Penske Chevrolet on 10/25/2018 for an oil change/tire rotation/air filter/cabin filter. Shortly afterwards I noticed an intermittent scraping/grinding noise coming from the front end. I couldn’t identify it, and it wasn’t consistent enough to seek service yet. It started to get worse, so I decided to take a look at the brake pads. And that’s when I noticed that ALL OF THE LUG NUTS ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL WERE LOOSE. Four of the six were freely spinning. The remaining two were at least hand tightened. I tightened them up and the noise has gone away. This was a potentially life-threatening issue and a pretty critical mistake for a tech to make. I did call the dealership before writing this review, but was only able to leave a voicemail for Chad.

Purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Equinox from Penske Chevrolet. The vehicle was decently priced and working with Bill in sales was very easy. I did have one issue with my brake rotors. I took the vehicle back in 2 weeks after the purchase, I was told that the brakes were fine. Over the next few months the problem got worse. I took the vehicle back in and they replaced the rotors at no cost to me. I feel most dealership would stick to their policy that they don't replace brake pads or rotors, but Penske did the right thing and I am very thankful. Will buy again from this dealership and salesperson Bill.

I've always had great experiences at Chevy, but I love the new online communications/access! I believe in the quality of face-to-face interactions, but when I'm at work and juggling the rest of the office, it's so great to get email notifications and have a quote that I can share visually with our managers before making decisions. The online payment was SO easy. It was absolutely the easiest online payment I've ever made. On top of that, Jerry took fantastic care of everything start to finish. He emailed notifications, he called to be sure we received them. He called with more detailed updates. That level of customer service makes a huge difference! I certainly don't want our office vehicle to have issues, but I love that every time I'm there, I know we'll be well taken care of. Thank you!

Generally I have a good experience with this place but when I took my car for an oil change about a week ago I specifically asked them to leave my driver side window alone due to damage. When I drove my car to work after the holidays (I didn’t drive it over that weekend) the window falls down inside the door, it appears my door panel was messed with, and there are broken parts now rattling around inside my door. I called and left a voicemail asking how they would be taking care of that since they ignored my request and still no call back. My car is 2 years old and the issues are just unacceptable. I would leave zero stars if I could.

Very good experience. Service people were polite and attentive. No attitudes which is refreshing. Service area was immaculate as was waiting room. One extra thing was needed to complete my repairs but it had to be ordered and I was leaving town so there wasn’t time to complete. The result was that the check engine light came on again so the next day I drive back only to find out that the reason it came on again was because of the part that needs to be put on. The service rep said not to worry about that. It would have been better if that had been explained BEFORE I left the first time. Would have saved me a trip! That said, my experience was good.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I went through the Costco auto program. The salesman Scott was terrible. He never showed us the member saving sheet after we asked him three times for it. Its suppose to be a no haggle price, which he was not showing us. Then, after we asked for him to print off the member saving sheet, he left to do so but instead he left with a different costumer on a test drive. Never told us what he was doing..just left. I will not be using this dealership ever again.

This car is a personal car of mine i brought it in for service for a sensor that was replaced here now i have the same check engine light on because of the same faulty sensor it has warranty and no one else will fix it since the warranty is through this company i need you guys to change the part since its bad and i paid you guys labor for this job. Hi I went for an oil change. Car was completed after 1.5 hours. I had to clean windows and found washer fluid to be bone dry. Service Rep was friendly and helped get it refilled. They say they do tire rotation and full device oil and live change. However after missing something so small it makes me wonder if they did rotate tires are give my car a thorough inspection. They have nice refreshments in lobby while you wait. However paying almost $50.00 for an oil change and waiting 1.5 hours. I have been getting better service at Jiffy Lube. I expect more from my dealer. I have leased 1 car with you and bought another. Let's get back on track Penske.

I was very disappointed in the Sales Manager Paul. I inquired about a Suburban they had advertised and I stopped by AND called to find out the vehicle was not on the lot. Paul states it was coming from out of state and was late getting there. I informed him I was very interested and he stated he would call when it hit the lot. I waited 4 days and went by again vehicle was no where on the lot. I then called Paul and asked about the vehicle again. He stated “ oh that vehicle sold before it ever hit the lot “ !!! I thought I was the one buying it !!! Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism in this dealership.

Had manufacturer safety recalls fixed, they were able to schedule me at a time that worked for me, completed the work at the scheduled time and friendly service. My only complaint was I had to wait a 10 minutes or so while they were helping other customers and some employees were just standing around, I'm sure they had a different job or were on a break but it felt like they were wasting my time. Otherwise the service and people were great and job was well done.

Penske Chevrolet is by far one of the best dealerships I have visited. As a college student, it's hard to be taken seriously by individuals who work in the car industry, especially since I did not purchase my chevrolet vehicke there. Penske is definitely a big exception to my bad preconceptions of car dealerships at my age. They were very happy to help me with any issue or question I had when I called as well as when I was there getting my vehicle serviced. It was a very simple job (tail light issues) but they clearly took their time with my car which I GREATLY appreciate. They checked all the systems and topped off my tires/fluids/likely aligned my tires. Once they were about finished, they were very clear and informative of what they needed to do/had done and ensured I was ok with it and the charges associated. The mechanic and a salesman also came out and talked with me which was nice as well, being I am going to school for automotive design. All around, thank you Penske, this is going to go a long way in the future when and if my family or I need anything chevrolet or car related in the future. Highly recommend to anybody who owns or is looking for anything chevrolet related. Will be going exclusively back to this dealership from here on out. Well done!

Had a great experience here (Savage was my sales guy). I was looking for 2018 Z71 Colorado 4dr long bed, and they had a few to pick from. They were about the only dealer that had more than 1 of those configurations. Sales were not pushy and I got a fantastic deal. I always dread the oil change wait at Penske. The waiting room has too much TV sound and overhead music. This time I found the quiet room was available and the 90 minute wait went fine. However, when I got there they were actually closed at 5:30. Other that, it was good service one I was able to get there a couple days later.

Jerry Bronson was amazing. My car had been stalling so I drove straight into the service department after dropping my son off at school. I was a total mess because I was afraid that my son and I would get stuck on the side of the road. I called ahead of time to see if I could get in but there is no availability untill Thursday and when I called in it was Tuesday.So I decided to just take my car in and told myself I would just have a to get a rental until my car was fixed. Jerry greeted me with a smile and was ready to help. He asked me what was going on and I told him I had just dropped my son off at school and that an error message came on and it said "reducing engine power" and that my car was stalling. I told him I going to have to get rental since they were out of loaner cars. He knew that I was getting a rental and that they were low on cars at the Enterprise at Penske Honda so when he saw the Enterprise employee he stopped her to see if she had any cars and she said, "no". So I dropped my car off and the shuttle lady was there. Every time I go in there she is always so sweet. She took me to three rental car places and they were all out of cars. By this time I was upset crying and she took me back to the dealership. I got back to Jerry Bronson in when I got to him I was crying snot in all. I told Jerry that I was gonna have to take my car and risk it stalling with my son in the car. He said, hold on let me try to get ahold of someone and to give me 20 minutes. Right as he was saying that the shuttle lady walk back pass me and said pray. So I said my prayer and went to go sit down to wait on Jerry to get back with me. Thanks to God for blessing me with the help of Jerry! Jerry got back to me and said, I found you a rental I did not want you to get stuck on the side of the road with your child. Then there was happy tears. I left and got my son off the bus and was 5 minutes early. I got a call the next day that saying that I needed to bring the rental back but they had a 2019 Chevy Traverse to loan me. I was never without a car. I got my car back and it drives perfectly. Go see Jerry Bronson he is a blessing to Penske. His heart is so big and his customer service is amazing!! Thanks Jerry Bronson! I told him I love him like 4 times.❤❤ Neisha Hardy

We made an appointment to bring out vehicle in on 3/26/19 @ 9:30am for an oil change. When my husband arrived, he was told there was a 2 hour wait WITH an appointment. What is the point of making an appointment if there is still an additional 2 hour wait?? If I wanted to wait for 2 hours for a oil change, I could take my car to one of the local businesses that only does oil changes without appointments. I think maybe you need to look at your scheduling practices & come up with a better way so that your customers don't have to wait so long for simple services with a set appointment. I suggest some sort of express bay for services such as oil changes. The other issue I had that day, is that my husband was sitting in the waiting area while my car was getting serviced & when it was completed, the technician called my cell (I wasn't there) to let me know that he went out to the waiting area to let my husband know my car was ready but didn't see him - that was a lie. My husband never left the waiting area & the technician never bothered to leave his seat & come get my husband. My husband confirmed that no one walked into the waiting area the whole time he was in there. Maybe the technicians should actually get out of their seats & check on things & their customers once in awhile to see what is actually going on & to give their customers an update on their vehicles. This would also help prevent your customers from getting more frustrated as time passed & they didn't know the status of the service on their vehicles. Communication is always the best policy! The very first vehicle I leased from Penske in 2015 - the service was fantastic. Since then it has gotten progressively worse. This very well may be the last vehicle we lease from Penske all due to the service side. The sales side has been great to work with.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE!!! Moving to a city by yourself as a woman is intimidating on its own and comes with its fair share of challenges. Add to that list having to address auto issues on your own, with little knowledge of the industry and market prices. Since I bought my car in 2016, I had an issue with the audio in my car skipping after connecting to Bluetooth (not covered in Enterprise extended warranty if anyone is wandering). It was very infrequent at first (maybe happened every 4-6 months) but progressively got worse until it was happening at least every other day. After doing my research, I had figured out that the issue was with the firmware and needed an update. I had contemplated doing it on my own, following a YouTube video, once I had found an off-market version of the software. However, doing a quick risk analysis I opted to have it done correctly by a certified tech with GM’s official version of the firmware update. I did some shopping around at different Chevy dealerships in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. At first I got price ranges anywhere from $275-$400- I knew based off the research I had done that those prices were a robbery. Finally, someone had referred me to Toby Margison at Penske Chevrolet. Toby, his coworker Caleb, and the rest of the Penske team that worked on my car were a godsend. The whole team was very conscientious in taking care of my needs. The team did a thorough assessment of the car’s issue, took into account that my appointment had to be put into my work schedule, and needless to say was all done very well and at a fair price. Thank you Toby, Caleb, and team for your great work!

Purchased a Chevy Volt approx. 2 weeks ago. The Sales experience was the typical run around and shell game, but with a lot of patience was able to finish the sale after a 4 hour marathon. The Finance Dept. was ran very smoothly and was by far the best part of the experience. The car did not have a 2nd key ( lost at time of sale ), salesman explained to come back next day to pick up. Returned next day with personal vehicle and was told that the purchased vehicle was needed, need to make a brand new key. Returned the following week, was told by reception that salesman was not in and needed to visit the Service Dept. for assistance. Service explained that key needed to be ordered and I could return next day or call to schedule appointment. Sent email 2 days later to set an appointment to return. Email response was "Currently swamped, let me get through the busy time and I will get back to you", have not heard back to this point. I am a business owner and understand the difficulties of managing staff and creating a positive culture. The culture at Penske Chevy needs an adjustment and the customer service is lacking in many ways. They have asked for feedback almost every day about the experience....I have responded a couple of times to the GM and no follow up. My suggestion would be to steer clear of this dealer in your vehicle search.

Good service! Techs occasionally check in and let you know what's going on. Lobby for customers is clean and comfortable. All employees were personable and speak at your level of understanding. Snacks, soda, lemonade, and coffee available in vending machines. Bathrooms are clean and quiet. TV, magazines, current newspapers, and even a charging station (apple and micro SD) in the lobby as well. Lots of windows so you can usually see where your vehicle is at all times.

Unfortunately I have had to quit using this dealership for lots of reasons but all service related issues. I mean who makes an appt for a simple oil change and tire rotation and end up waiting for nearly 3 hours. Im not going to try to explain all the issues I had with a warranty repair but lets just say my list is more than a couple of things.I tried to make it work and I am too nice thinking everyone makes mistakes and of course they do so I tend to have lots of patience before giving up on a business. I went to Bill Estes Chevy yesterday and all I can say is WOW! The service department is on top of there game and now I know I was getting poor service at Penske.

We rented a Chevy suburban one weekend to go to Michigan (not from this dealership) Upon return we decided to go look at new chevys. While looking around at options a lady come out to help us. We viewed a few cars and decided we liked the 2019 traverse. We left with out a car wanting to do our homework. After doing our home work we emailed the dealership with comparables on the price with in 50 miles. They came down slightly but wouldn’t come down $1800 more to be equal to other dealerships. a few emails and stalled replys on there end we decided to look at other brands. 3 days later 3/8/19 we went to Kokomo auto world to look at pilots and purchased the 2019 Honda Pilot Touring which we never even concidered until we was pushed to the side by Chevy. There was no pressure to buy and they worked with us on all comparable models with in 50 miles to reach a fair price. We considered the Honda down by the Chevy but with it having the same ownership we didn’t think they would work with us on pricing since there Chevy dealership was so dismissive.

Used Cars!! beware of minimum vehicle inspection on some of thier older model or high mileage vehicles that they sell. Just ask how much they have inspected or checked a vehicle before buying. Have the vehicle taken to your mechanic!! Seems kind of crazy when buying from a dealer with a service center. They just do basic checks on some vehicles.. I was told just...Do they Start, Run, Stop and Drive. I bought a vehicle as is which I a fine with, Just thought a little more would have been checked. I had a alternator went bad with a fairly new battery which would mask the problem after a couple of weeks. Found out they don't check for that stuff on some vehicles and apparently don't have the machines to check the charge of the battery and alternator that most Auto parts stores have. Just beware. Have had better used vehicle checks and inspections for older vehicles at other dealers.
