My husband and I came to Acura on a Saturday afternoon in need of a new van. Patty, Glen, and Steve surpassed our car buying expectations. They knew we were going on a long family trip and were committed to our comfortable and safe excursion. They stayed late so that we would have the van for our trip. Patty made sure we understood the technology and benefits after hours. The service and excellence of this dealership is unsurpassed! We had a tire go bad while we were driving. We contacted Patty, who gave us her own personal number, and she talked to the owner. They not only reimbursed us for the tire, they also reimbursed for our unexpected hotel stay as well! Muller Acura of Merrillville make sure you are protected and satisfied. I have never been so cared for and happy in purchasing a car in my life! Truly, this is the only car dealership to go to for our family anymore.

Whoever is there servicing the cars is not doing a good job. This was my 3rd experience being there for two hours and getting absolutely nothing fixed on my car. I always get told to come back for things that can be fixed the same day. I literally left this place after waiting two hours went to a local car shop and they fixed the problem in 15 minutes. I honestly feel like this place only cares about money and not fixing the problems. All of the staff is nice EXCEPT for Matt. After 3 bad experiences I do not plan to go back here.

I purchased a vehicle which had a tire light on. They told me it would go off when it was driven. I drove it and it was still on brought it back and told them I had to leave soon. They told me they would fix the car and get me out quickly. 2 hours later missed dialysis appt ..manager could care less!
Can’t speak for the sales department but they have a cushy waiting area & great customer service if you’re getting your car serviced. They definitely go above & beyond to try to ensure it’s a positive experience every time.

We just turned in a lease with Acura on a 2016 TLX. In looking for a replacement vehicle, we worked with Alex Carter. Alex is such a joy to work with. He is friendly, easy going, helpful and has a great sense of humor. If you are looking for a new Acura, see Alex. The new RDX is an outstanding vehicle! Service at Mueller is always outstanding. We have owned Acuras since 2012 when Mueller Acura arrvied in Merrillville. We have always serviced our vehicles there and have had amazing service. The waiting area is comfortable and full of goodies. It is a first-class facility!

The service department at Muller is incompetent and not trustworthy. I had my wife’s MDX there 2 week’s ago for an ($80, mind you) oil change. With the inspection, I intentionally asked the service person about the tire pressure and the battery. We were heading to MI for Christmas and I didn’t want to have any issues. Service person said tires were all good and battery was fine. Christmas Eve, we get in the car to go to MI and I get a warning light about tire pressure being low. Had to stop and get air before we left. In Michigan, we go to move car in driveway on Christmas Day and I get a warning light about replacing battery. Took to battery store and had it tested, more than 200 amps short of what it should have been. The professional at the battery place said there was no way this battery would’ve tested fine two weeks prior. All of the problems I specifically wanted to avoid by having the car serviced by Muller surfaced as problems for me. When I called about it, I got transferred to the parts department. They told me Mike Powell would call me back, but it’s been two days and I still haven’t heard from him. It’s evident that this dealership is only interested in making money and not satisfying customers. Can’t even return a phone call. I have leased a TL, RDX and purchased an MDX from Muller but I’m done. Won’t even be returning for service going forward. My advice, don’t buy a car from Muller and DEFINITELY don’t have your car serviced at Muller.
When Muller Acura came to Northwest Indiana I was very excited because I could get my Acura serviced without traveling far. Since, I go there regularly for service now and was treated very well by Mike P. I knew when it was time to replace our current car it would make sense to start there. We continued to have a great experience while purchasing our 2015 RDX from our Sales Consultant Patty. She made our time there fun and interactive. We learned just about everything about our vehicle before we left. The Sales Manager Paul explained all of our finance offers in detail to me because I am a numbers guy. The Owner Glenn Muller checked on us through the process and made us feel very welcome. I recommend that anyone in the market for an Acura please see Patty R. at Muller Acura. Seems like the smart mouthed manager (by the name of Mike) treated my wife with some indifference. If I were there it would have played out differently but for now I will leave a one star review for his rude behavior towards my wife. Luckily there more dealerships on this strip..I realize good help is hard to find.
In December of 2014 I visited Muller Acura of Merrillville to test drive an MDX. I was currently in a car and wanted to possibly get an SUV. I test drove the MDX and loved it! The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable about the car. I decided to wait until after Christmas to buy anything new. They called to follow up and I told him I wanted to keep my car but if I decided to buy anything I would be back. In December of 2015 I went back to see what purchasing options were available now that I was in a spot financially to get a new car. Patty asked what type of vehicle we were looking at and took us out to a few cars. After finding the perfect car (which wasn't hard because they had lots to choose from) the rest was a breeze. The financing department was great and very helpful. The entire process was quick and easy making my first car buying experience a great one! I will be returning to Muller Acura without a doubt.
Sales Team is friendly and GREAT - HOWEVER - SERVICE DEPARTMENT HASN'T A CLUE TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Every issue you bring it in for is something you did wrong and not really anything wrong with the car. If you buy an ACURA you better pray it doesn't need service.
I receive impeccable service at a reasonable price every time I visit. I came here after years of service from another Acura competitor, however, Muller has won me over. I refuse to take my RDX anywhere else. I will go out of my way to come here for service.
Amazing is an understatement. Two people you need to deal with: Larry S. In sales and Matt K the manager. I had the best experience buying my new Acura from them. Mike P in service is amazing and Amy the concierge is amazing too. The atmosphere is welcoming and sophisticated, all of the people named are key players to this dealership. I’ve never been treated so kindly and honestly... Larry was extremely informative and readily available and was with me the whole process. He even helped me with my daughter!!!!! I can’t say enough about my amazing experience. Look no further, this is the ONLY place to go!

Our goal was to find a reliable vehicle for our daughter as she begins her first year of college. We wished that we could say that money was no object; but our budget was set as we anticipate the next four years of college expenses. We received excellent customer service, first starting with the initial handshake of Patty, our sales associate; to the offer from Mr. Glenn to buy us lunch while we awaited the vehicle inspection; to the pleasant demeanor of Mr. Steve the cashier. We were extremely impressed when we found out that Mr. Glenn was the owner! He took out the time to check on us, demonstrating that he is a team player and made certain that our deal happened. The edifice was beautiful with such a warm and inviting environment to all of the customers. I wanted to let everyone know about the outstanding experience we had with Patty Rattray (our sales person) and the Muller dealership. Patty went well above and beyond in helping us locate and secure our new RDX and I want to make sure your chain of command knows it. Without Patty's help we would not have purchased the SUV and would have missed out on what has turned out to be a great choice for us thus far. The RDX has worked out fantastic and we have put it through some good break in miles already. It drives extremely well and has the room and comfort level we are accustomed to in a vehicle. We were initially worried about going with a smaller SUV, but we now know we made the right choice this time around. Thanks Patty and thanks Muller!

I went iback for regular maintenance because I got a code alert on the dash indicator. I was told it was oil change and something about a rear differential. Over 2 hours waiting at dealership with little explanation. I was give an apology and a discount. Driving home I heard a loud squeak every time I turned left. It only got worse so I called and was told to bring game it in. Another 2 hours and finally an not offer for a rental. It took 5 days to fix the problem and I had to call regularly to get any idea of when the car would be ready. On pick up no one could tell me what was the problem. Finally the machan came out and said that when they put the car on the lift for the oil change the strut came out and was not replaced. It was broken and had to be replaced. Driving home it started to squeak. It still squeaks.
I had the best experience buying a car from them. Usually I get worked up and stressed out when making this decision, but matt went above and beyond helping and making this an easy decision. He reviewed an offer I had received from another dealership and save me over 3k within minutes. I will always go back to him and Acura. Great cars and excelled customer service.

Best Employees & Facility. Never have any problem with service. They have wifi so I can take my car in and work while it's getting serviced. Refreshments and Snacks are a good bonus. Also they do a nice car wash. I also bring my Honda there as Honda Dealer near me charges more and do crap service.
I was completely satisfied for the hard work the salesperson put in to get me approved for a vehicle but the prices on the 2015 s are a little expensive over all experience very good.
My experience at Muller Acura of Merrillville was the best experience I have had buying a car in my entire life. I walked in on Christmas Eve and the service I received was amazing. They were helpful and willing to work to meet my financial needs. I felt like I was being treated fairly by my salesperson, Andrea, and the owner Glen. I already owned an Acura so I was looking to get into a newer/better model. Andrea helped me do that with no hassle. I strongly suggest taking your car buying experience to Muller Acura of Merrillville.
Owned 4 Acuras so far, and will never buy another, because of customer service at this location. An absolute nightmare! Level of incompetence and rudeness is indescribable.
None of the maintenance on my 2015 Acura ILX was included as promised, plus the internet sales manager repeatedly harassed me for my car asking if I wanted to sell the vehicle when it was a lease so it didn't really make any sense. my 2001 civic had a better audio system and I had that car in high school not to mention it was 14 years older.

So, I was 95% ready to purchase a Lexus SUV at a dealer located about a quarter of a mile west of this dealship. On my way home, I happened to see a similar vehicle on their lot facing the street. I pulled in and talked to a very inexperienced but helpful salesman. I decided that this was the perfect car for my needs and I decided to purchase from them. I had the cash to pay in full, but wanted to finance about 60% to help re-build my credit. They were able to secure a loan from a California lender which was great. The problem was when I came to pick up my new car, the sales manager had to tell me that this deal (at 19.8%) was a "gift" and that I should be very thankful that they were able to finance me at all! Really??? You should be thankful that I gave you the "gift" of my business when I could have bought any car in a 500 mile radius. Also, they gave me the wrong Carfax paperwork on the SUV and when I discovered that the back up camera on my vehicle does not work because it had been in an accident, their response was basically, "too bad"! I love my car but cannot recommend this dealer at all! How's that for a "gift"?

We have used Muller Acura in both the Schaumburg, IL and Merrillville locations for years. We just purchased our 7th vehicle yesterday from them at their Merrillville location. Glen, the owner also treats us with the utmost respect, and, is VERY fair with us! But, this time we had the opportunity to meet our salesperson Justin. For a young man, he truly knows his stuff! He is the one phenomenal Salesman. Courteous, kind, sincere, and eager would only describe a few words for him. When we picked the vehicle up last night, he went through everything over and over for me, ( I'm not so tech savvy) But, he was patient and very kind! Way to go Justin! Keep up the good work! I recently purchased a new 2014 MDX from Muller Acura of Merrillville. Being a first time car buyer, the sales team made my experience pleasant and enjoyable from day one. In particular I have to recognize Paul, Sean, and Steve. Each of them brought expertise to their roles and worked seemlessly with each other. I cannot begin to stress how patient and understanding each of them were helping us step by step. If you want to purchase a great car for a great price I would strongly recommend this dealership over others in chicago, indiana, and michigan. I drove over an hour to come here and it was well worth it. I am looking forward to recommending them to all my friends and family.

I was greeted by Justin and Stephan, they were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them both. My experience with the sales GM was not good. He was not professional to me during the approval process and insinuated my credit was not good enough for approval. I later mentioned to him his comments were not appropriate and he defended his comments. I don't recommend anyone doing business with him because he can make the entire dealership look bad. I like the dealership and the others there but don't work with Matt if you can help it. Ask for the owner.

I recently bought a pre-owned vehicle from Muller Acura Merrillville. I found the most amazing 2006 Dodge Ram while looking to own my first truck. It had a great price on it already and we were still able to negotiate an amazing deal! The staff was super nice and my buying experience went smoothly. We had a small communication break down but they were able to correct it. I would recommend the nice people at Muller Acura Merrillville.
