I understand mistakes can be made but I am not happy with the out come of a deal that I thought was put together very openly. Lease term and monthly lease payment were agreed to several days prior. The day I was to close the deal and take possession of new vehicle, the dealer determined monthly payment pricing was based on shorter lease term (39 mo vs. 48 mo). Consequently, payments would increase. I am glad they figured this out before I made the drive from Louisville. In their defense, they figured out how to hold the payment to the agreed upon amount but the 'residual' was about $2,000 higher than it should have been based on a competitors quote. Hope you have better luck than I had.

This place is great. Always really friendly and down-to-earth, very clean and well-kept, and great about working with your individual needs. The purchase process was great and my husband was super happy with it and with the car we got. If you're a preferred customer, you get points for each service you have and can even get enough to get free oil changes, etc. ($40-$50 value). Everyone at John Jones seems extremely pleasant.

I was told to "come in real quick to finish signing some stuff" after we had spent hours the day before working most of it out. I waited hours for them to even get me this paperwork they mentioned, and it was not a busy time. I saw the woman just chatting with coworkers in the meantime. She also walked past the table we we're sitting at about four times without even acknowledging us. I've been to slow dealerships before, but this was a different level. If you value your time, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Recently we had to buy a car unexpectedly in a very short amount of time. We searched several dealerships looking for a particular car. Thankfully, we found what we were looking for at John Jones in Scottsburg. Justin was our sales rep, Julie was the manager and Cindy was the finance manager that we dealt with. They were all amazing and did everything they could to make us feel at ease and confident in our decision. I can honestly say we have never walked into a finance office to find that they had found us an even better deal then they first discussed with us! They saved us a lot of money and it was the easiest car buying experience we have ever had! I would recommend them to anyone!

I had been in negotiations with this dealership for 2 days. I emailed them pics of my trade and vin number. Then out of the blue they tell me the price online was wrong and they hiked it up $1300 on me. I've never had a dealer anywhere raise the price of a vehicle on me. It's been the opposite, they normally come down. I would be cautious of John Jones. Walmart will even stick by their listed price. Stay away! Find a good honest dealership!

It has taken me a year to write a review but if I can stop someone from buying from here it’s worth it. My husband and I purchase two vehicles from here. From the start it was horrible but the end experience was the worst..we tried several times to tag our truck and couldn’t because the BMV never got the paperwork from them so then our temporary tags were expired so I called and the lady on the phone said there wasn’t nothing they could do...so long story short I threw a fit and the gave me dealer tags in til the could get the title. Mind you they sold us a truck that they didn’t have a title for. We I went up there to get the dealer tags they were very rude. Then I would call up there to ask how much longer and I just kept getting the run around. We made the first payment before we could even get tags on our truck. The acted like it was our fault the whole time and never wanted to make it right. Mind you we wasted days and time trying to tag the truck even took off work and all they had to do was call us and let us know what was going on, but they didn’t. Never once did they apologize. Mind you we brought two vehicles from them. And they could careless about customer service and plus I’m pretty sure that by law the have so many days to get the paperwork in and they passed that up by at least a month and that was with me calling and hounding them every day. It’s in the mail they would say. Something was really shady with that. Sad thing is we weren’t they only one having this problem there were others to after we got to talking about. My son turn 16 in three years and I know I will not come to this dealership and I know a couple of people that seen what we went through and decided to go to another dealer to buy there brand new car. I would strongly recommend everyone to seriously read reviews and go with your gut! They definitely do not deserve a 4 star. I only wish that I had known what I know now!

If I could give below a 1 star I definitely would. Very misled on the vehicle, I understand it is buyer beware but pretty sad that the salesman responds rudely and never heard from a manager. 10 minutes from leaving the dealership, the service rear axle warning light came on and John Jones washed their hands of it, turns out the whole rear axle needed to be replaced. Was told the car had a clean Carfax history and come to find out that it was involved in an accident. Have had the car for 5 weeks and 3 of those weeks it has been at a local dealership for various costly repairs. Now we have had to get GM consumer department involved and if it takes getting a lawyer will need to do that too!! I guess they got their cut out of the $35,000 and that was all that mattered.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would! First off, it started off with them only testing the battery and trying to charge us $250 for a battery that we didn't need when we had it tested 3 times at different places before that with the same type of tester. Next, an employee named Anna hung up on my husband when he disagreed with the battery issue. My husband called back and conveniently no one answered the phone. So he contacted a manager and then another person called him back. The next day, someone called and said it was the starter and we were told it would be covered under the warranty. The following Monday we were called and told there was a very loud knocking sound and that they wouldn't leave it running to do anything else and that we were suddenly over the mileage for the warranty (but was not over the mileage for it when they said the starter would be covered) and that the only reason the starter was covered was because they were 'nice ' enough to go ahead and let us have that. WE go in 10/06/2016 to find out what we would owe and we tried to start it before going in and it wouldn't start. We talked to Anna again and she came back out with 2 men and basically just sat there and did not say another word to myself nor my husband at all. When it was mentioned to these to men (I did not catch their names) that it would not start they go out there by themselves and come back in and swear up and down it started. My husband told them repeatedly it would not start for him and said, I want to hear it before we do anything else. When we both walk out there all of a sudden there were 4 guys standing there around the car. I made the remark that it did not take 4 people to start the vehicle and 2 of them left. This 'knock' was not as loud as it was made out to be. I WILL NOT be visiting this facility again. Esp since we were 438 over the warranty (mysteriously I might add) and they went ahead and used that and now we are out the money we would have gotten back for not using it at all. I will be looking into some factors that do not seem right and I don't agree with several things that happened. The customer service is pathetic in the service dept, and when you have employee's like Anna that hang up on customers (after spending thousands of their hard earned dollars at the car lot) it's just unforgivable! He may have raised his voice, but he did not swear and had zero reason to be disconnected from the line. I work in customer service where our calls are recorded and had I purposefully hung up on someone I would lose my job and fast! Any time we had called up there and asked about the car we spoke with someone different and Anna was always busy, even when it was myself that called and not my husband. This is EXACTLY how you lose business....and this is EXACTLY why you have only a 2.5 star rating for your facility.

So we will give you a call in the morning once we know. So here it is 5:33 pm the next day and we finally get an answer, after my husband had called there 3 times asking to speak to someone. Came to look at a used car that was exactly what we wanted. Only problem, it was $2000 over KBB and $4000 over a price we had gotten earlier in the day from Oxmoor on a similar make/model/year car. If the salesperson could tell us why the car was priced so high, we would have bought it (ie: extremely low miles, lots of upgrades, etc...) The car was just basic and not worth the extra money. We asked the salesman if he would match the other dealership's price, which we showed him we had in writing. He said "the price is the price" and they don't negotiate. We asked him to ask the sales manager. He said the sales manager had left for the day (this was 3:30 in the afternoon). We walked out of John Jones, went to Oxmoor and bought their vehicle. I highly recommend Oxmoor.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Justin Goines--That Chevy Bowtie Guy twice within a 2 month period. I bought my 2016 Chevy Trax from Justin on 9-14-18. On 10-30-18 it was totaled due to a deer. All it took was me contacting Justin and he had me in my beautiful new 2018 Chevy Trax on 11-2-18. I was provided with customer service that was off the charts both times. Justin was a pleasure to deal with. He has found a customer for life.
