Good service and easy to deal with. I do not like wasting a lot of time so I drove the car and left. Called Sales back and said this is my max. out the door offer. 20 mins later on the way to get the car. No blah blah blah just the way I like it.

Warning - this dealership takes advantage of young single moms - making minimum wage. My daughter took her car there to find out why it was making a noise. Hubler Service discovered it was the muffler and the repair would be $350. She said okay fix the muffler. They wrote up other minor things needing maintenance like "dusting the brake pads" - on ticket. She signed the work order - they did ALL the work not just the muffler and asked her for $750! She is obviously young - 23 with a 3 year old - and for them not to explain that they were doing ALL the work is just wrong. Nothing but a bunch of SHISTERS! Nice time of year too “Happy Holidays” - Stay far away from this place. Oh and the one other thing the car really really needed was an oil change - and NO they didn't even do that. OR offer to… after sticking it to her. I hope their daughters never get treated like this. I wish there were negative stars!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle. Jerrod was very helpful and really considered what I was looking for. Everyone I met glad been very polite and professional. Service department was even come sidestep when I showed up near closing for an oil change. They make car buying experience unforgettable.
the sales rep I had was a little pushy. Did not wind up getting a car from here decided on keeping mine and putting money into it. Sales rep is still being pushy after telling him today that we do not want to proceed with the interest rates they offered and payments we could afford. Was told that they did not know how much it would be to fix my current car so they low balled us. Didnt even tell us how much my car was going to be traded in for.
Took 45 minutes for an oil change got there at opening
I will be making another appointment to revisit the noise in the dash. Everyone was polite and wanting to assist but one of the two issues I took it in for still exist.
There was some miscommunication about having vehicles there for us to look at, but they went out of there way to make it right and we bought a vehicle that day. Very friendly sales team and we are happy with our purchase.

The sales person that I had help me was awesome. Tyler was his name , but when it came to the finance guy Gene it just fell apart. He did not even try to deal with me at all. he just pushed out a price and payment on me and asked me to sign on the line. I know that I have credit problems, but what he was offering would have made it impossible to do !! The next day when I returned the car that he was pushing on me and said that i have found a better deal he just assumed it was a buy here pay here place. Im happy to say that i got a much better deal somewhere else (Ray Skillman GMC) My credit will get better now with out me going poor first.
UPDATES BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW My experience began on August 10, 2017 as I had been in the market for a newer vehicle thinking that I wanted a Malibu. The salesman on duty pointed me to a Malibu and that he said had been "inspected and Q Certified." He gave me the key and I took it out for a drive. As I pulled out of the lot I heard a loud grinding noise that I thought must have been a motorcycle or other vehicle behind me. I went a few blocks and checked all around only to realize there were no vehicles around me and the noise continued. I immediately turned around and took the car back and told the salesman that something was wrong with the rear end of that car. My first thought was if that thing was inspected and certified I don't want to buy a car here! I started back towards my vehicle and he suggested that maybe I try a 2016 Hyundai Sonata that they had just gotten in. I should have just kept walking but I had never driven a Hyundai Sonata before and I had heard and read some good things about their newer vehicles, so I thought I would try it. I ended up really liking the car so I went back in and made an offer on it and asked for the CarFax report. Cameron said "sure I'll get that for you." We then proceeded to start some paperwork and then he sent me over to the finance department, at which time I asked the finance manager for a copy of the Carfax report as well, to which he replied "sure I'll get that for you." We began signing paperwork and before long I had the keys and was ready to go but had still not seeing the Carfax report. In my excitement I went on home and showed my family the new car. The next day I called the dealer back to get the Carfax report at which time I was transferred to the sales manager who read some details of the report to me over the phone and noted that the car had been in an accident. I was very surprised! Why had this not been revealed at the time of the sale? I asked if there was anything that could be done about it and he promptly said "no all sales are final." I told Josh that if I would have known that the vehicle was involved in an accident I absolutely would not have bought it! I asked him if the warranty would be affected by this and he assured me it would not. So I left well enough alone as the car seemed to be fine. Three weeks later I emailed the salesman to ask him if he could schedule the 15,000 mile service for me. He responded and said sure and we set up a time. I also requested a courtesy vehicle to use while my car was being serviced. He said no problem, one would be available. This morning I dropped the car off at the service department and they did have the service ticket scheduled but there was nothing noted about having a courtesy vehicle. I could not wait at the shop so I ended up walking 4 miles home. I don't blame the service department but it sure seems to me that the sales and support staff are need some more training! Thankfully my car is running well for the time being, but I'm still not happy I'm stuck with a car that will forever be tarnished and thus difficult to ever sell if needed. UPDATE: I just spoke with the general manager Lindsay and he apologized for the situation. We agreed that we both had responsibility in that I should not have signed anything until I had the CarFax report in hand, AND that their team should have been more responsible and prompt at getting the report to me when I asked. I appreciate that they followed up and so I have revised my rating to three stars. UPDATE AGAIN: After some issue with the Sonata that I believe were directly related to the accident I decided I wanted out of the vehicle. I worked directly with the General Manager and I believe that he did make a reasonable effort to help me out. He gave me top dollar for the trade-in (even though I still lost money having paid retail) and he and his sales team worked to get me into another vehicle that had not been in an accident. I feel satisfied that as of right now they have earned a positive review and I want to thank all of them for taking responsibility!

Shopping for a car and stopped in at Shelbyville where I met Steve G. By far the most trustworthy and upfront car salesman I've met to date. They don't have a car yet that I am going to purchase, but I will wait until they have one in inventory and then purchase from Steve because after having been to multiple other dealerships in Indy, I'd rather wait for Steve to get a car I want than to deal with any other dealer. Hubler has a great salesperson in Steve G. and anyone looking to trade or buy a car should run not walk to speak with him.

I just purchased a 2016 Ford Expedition from Sam at Hubler. He was excellent. Took time to explain things and didn't rush me even though it was right at the end of the day amd time for the closing. I would recommend Sam to anyone looking to buy a car. However, my dissatisfaction comes with the the person who didn't want to be bothered cleaning the car. Since it was time for the business to close we agreed that I would bring it back tp be detailed. After 2 attempts I still have to take my SUV and clean it myself. The windows were not touched. The third row seats and truck didn't get vacuumed. It took him all of 25 minutes to "detail" an Expedition inside and out. Mind you the SUV was a mess when I bought it because so many people had been test driving it. Thus the reason I pushed to have it detailed. I don't feel like asking to have it detailed was too much for the price I paid. So I would give Sam 5 stars, but as far as customer service 3 stars because I should have been able to walk away with a mich cleaner vehicle than what I did. That is where my disappointment comes in.

High quality and rapid work (+5 stars), lacking customer service (-1 star). The repair center quickly found the issue with my vehicle, ordered the parts, and fixed it all under warranty quicker than the quoted timeframe. The only improvement I would suggest for management: remind your employees that none of the customers coming in for car repairs will be happy - so an impatient secretary or condescending repair worker can quickly sever the chance of repeat business.

Used t be a loyal customer, however, the service dept. has really went south. I have taken all of my vehicles here for service. I had been complaining about a check engine light on my truck for almost a year, every time I have taken it in, they can't find anything. I finally took it to another dealer and they found the issue and repaired it. I reported this issue back to the general manager of the location and of course, the standard excuses came out. There is always 2 sides to the story, however I feel I have reported the issue multiple times, before the warranty expired as well as during oil changes, tire rotations etc.. and of course there is not proper documentation on my issue. I will never do business with Hubler group again. Sandman Brothers in Shelbyville is my new dealer of choice.

I purchased a 2007 Chevy Silverado right at two months ago.The salesman and the workers were very kind but in these two months I've had more problems with this truck than I can afford. I live over two hours away from their nearest service center, so it was not practical for me to buy their warranty, and man was this a mistake. In these two months I've had to replace both front wheel hub bearings, the brakes on both rear wheels, and now I have to replace the starter. Who knows what's next? After I got under the truck to work on it I found that the wiring is all wrapped in duct tape, so obviously this truck has been mishandled severely All of this came after the salesman told us that it had passed their tests with flying colors. Needless to say, I will be shopping elsewhere for my next car.

Have been back to dealership to service my vehicle, service personnel are friendly and efficient. My wait was short, nice modern new dealership, I opted for their "deluxe car wash" with my service, for only $10 my vehicle was returned very clean! I will definitely return to do business here, and recommend them highly!

I drive by their lot all the time, and I have been inside their showroom and talked to several of their sales reps, but this being one of their smaller lots, they just never had exactly what I wanted on their lot. I am a very picky vehicle buyer, and do lots of research before buying a new vehicle, ha. The salesmen were nice that I spoke to on several different occasions, and even in the snow if I drove thru their lot during business hours one of them would run out to greet me, haha. So they leave no potential customer feeling like help is not available. As most car lots they seem to have a turn over in sales people too. It's a tough business, so it's understandable. Their lot used to be much fuller than what it is now, they do stock several trucks, several low end small cars that get good gas mileage, and a few camaro's, but not much else. In this small town it is probably difficult to sell the more expensive vehicles, so the Indy area branches probably get most of those. I am very loyal to the dealership that I buy from and build a relationship with as long as they keep treating me right. So I always take my new vehicles back to the place I purchased them for routine maintenance. So I do not have experience with this dealers mechanic shop. The salesmen seem cool, and place is always clean, and the cars are always shiny as they can be kept, overall this seems like a nice car lot. Just nothing to fit my particular needs.
I had previously been to two different dealerships before taking my car to hunker shelbyville and these guys did a phenomenal job great customer service and the mechanics were superior. Anytime my family or I have issue with any of my vehicles I will definitely be taking it back to them.

I went into Hubler Chevrolet just to look at the New 2014 Cruze. I was impressed from the start as I hadn't even gotten out of the car and there was already a salesman waiting to great me, didn't have to spend and hour looking at the vehicles before someone decided "guess I'll go help them." I know I set up an appointment, but it was still appreciated. The salesman seemed new, but his enthusiasm and ability to answer truthfully made my experience more enjoyable, no bs stories on any of the vehicle options that he was unsure about, and his willingness to find the answer for those that he was unsure about. The sales staff made it easy to come to an agreeable term limit and monthly payment, there wasn't a pushy atmosphere. I purchased a new 2014 Cruze LT, with a sexy deep green skin to boot! Overall I was very satisfied with my time at Hubler Chevrolet, as I always have. I have recommended this place to several family and friends if they want to get a good deal on a nice vehicle.

I have been a customer of Hubler Chevrolet (Shelbyville) for 12 yrs. I bought all 4 new cars from Hubler. I'm extremely happy with the sales and service departments. They are very dependable and on time. I enjoy coming to the dealership to have my cars serviced. Everyone is eager to please. You leave with a nice smile from the receptionist.
I have resisted posting this review for almost a month, but I think it needs to be known. Sadly, they are the only Chevy dealership in town, luckily not the only one close by. Drive by this lot. Do not stop, just head up 74 to anywhere else. My daughter went there to buy a new car, she was working with a young man named Camedon Wheatly. Not only did he try to push her into a more expensive car that she told him she couldn’t afford, he asked my husband to commit fraud! He told him that for her to have a cosigner he would need to say he lived at the same address as her and sign paperwork saying that was the case. Any company who will allow their employees to do that, should be ashamed and fined. Do not buy here, if they are not above board with this type of thing, what else are they doing wrong?

I got a truck from them 3 months ago took it in for an oil change and it had no brakes and the motor was knocking they said there was nothing they did or could do about it. Talked to the GM and he cussed me out. That place is a joke and I would not do business with them.

My car was towed there after it broke down. I have a 2014 Camaro so it is still under warranty. From the beginning the service manager, Steve Dare did everything he could and made every excuse he could to not honor the warranty. He tried to say that the vehicle became damaged after racing it, the wheels and tires weren't the original ones, my car was heavily modified and that caused the damaged, and a few other things. I do have headers and a cold air intake but according to the Chevrolet warranty the dealership would have to prove that the damage was a direct result of any modificationsm, which it wasn't. I had to pay for the tow and the diagnostic fee. I had the car towed to Ray Skillman. Ray Skillman covered the fee to tow it there and repaired the vehicle under warranty after it was inspected by a GM representative. I will be warning people away from Hubler Chevrolet and their service manager who doesn't know what he's talking about. Chevrolet has already been notified about the service manager refusing to honor their warranty. My friends, family, and myself will be taking our automotive needs elsewhere.
I gave the sales person my offer and asked if they can have the A/C check on the vehicle. We exchange numbers, however came back a few days later to see the vehicle, turns out it was sold. It would of been nice to know, but mad about lack of communication.
Wasn't very satisfied with salesman's inability to make me happy on the brand new 2017 Chevy Trax I purchased. Even with the headlights on high beam you can barely see the road in front of you. Would not do anything to try to make them any better, without it being at my own cost. Even suggested I go to an auto parts store and purchase brighter ones and have them installed, all at my own cost of course. I would think they would try to make a person happy, especially when purchasing a brand new vehicle! I don't even feel safe when driving after dark! Also the car barely even had any freeon in it, had to take it back to have it put in there, not what I would expect from a brand new vehicle!
Went there to purchase a car for the mom of my granddaughter on 11/10/2018. Was a beautiful vehicle but less than 12 hours after purchase we discover the thermostat was not working to throw heat. Them we get a call on our way home that it died on her and the baby on the way to her home. So there is at few issues. So NO I AM NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP.!
