That consisted of 1) 40000 mile service, oil change and filter change, tire rotation, fuel filter and pollen filter. Total cost=$302.33 2) a four-wheel alignment for 169.95. 3) Miss Supplies / Haz Waste Removal at $79.93. Total cost= $552.21

We already purchased 2 VW Jettas, from Shirley Richardson, and needed a vehicle for our 16 year old daughter so we came back to her. Our daughter was set on a Honda and because of the great service we recieved from her before we chose to go back to her instead of the Honda dealership right next door. I have never received as great of service from any other car sales person as we have form Shirley. She was very patient with my daughter and after about 10 different trips and many test drives she found the perfect car for her. In the future when I purchase a car I will come back to her.

These people are thieves. They changed my tires and claimed that they aligned them. 20,000 miles later the recommended to change all my tires. When I called the manager he took no responsibility. They also recommended to change the batteries which they had changed the year before. These people are terrible. Their services are fraudulent and they recommend you to do things that are not even necessary. I had the car checked by a trusted mechanic who advised me to avoid this place. AVOID THIS PLACE. THEY ARE THIEVES. The service manager, CHRIS ZELLERS is rude and takes pride in being a thief.

This review is strictly for the service department. I brought my 2009 VW jetta in because my car was not running correctly. When I ran the codes myself it came up with 1 and 4 misfiring and ambient air temp sensor not working. They were nice enough to give me a nice 2016 jetta as a loaner hassle free. They found part of the issue to be a melted fuse box which was actually a recall problem so they fixed that no charge. After that the positive experience ends. The car needed to have the coils and plugs changed and they were trying to charge me $600! The parts full retail are $150 tops and maybe a half hour of labor. Needless to say I told them I would do that myself. I went in to pick my car up and it went from a minor misfire to completely not running. I got a few blocks down the road from the dealership and my car just completely stopped. I got under the hood to check it out and there was several wires unplugged and I have no idea what they are to. I called the service advisor I dealt with (Josh) and when he answered the phone I told him who I was and the car I just picked up and I he said was "Okay?" incredibly rudely. I tried to speak with him about how the driving of the car has changed and the wires unplugged and he just completely denied the whole situation and basically insinuated I was lying. So I ended up having to get my car towed (a $150 bill) and I replaced my spark plugs and coils in the downpour that happened yesterday 10/11/16. The car ran fine after that. So I go out this morning 10/12/16 to go to work and the battery is completely dead and car will not start. The lights were not left on and it is a newer battery so I cannot fathom what I did wrong to cause this. This experience with this shop has been a pretty disappointing experience. They seem to have left my car in worse condition than when I brought it in. I will make sure to let everyone know that I can in the VW/Audi community to stay away from that place.

CUSTOMERS ARE NOT A PRIORITY. I scheduled an appointment for my VW's battery issues and brought my car in at 9am and Ryan, my contact, promised to call me and update me. He never did. I called at the end of the day and they had "just started working on it." They kept it overnight and promised to call the next day to update me. They never did. I called at the end of the second day and they had not figured out the issue, but they told me that they noticed the windshield wiper fluid was leaking (it took these guys 2 DAYS to notice that). I expressed my frustration from their lack of communication, keeping my car for 2 nights with no loaner provided, and for not making my car a priority. The next day they quickly found the issue and fixed it. But when I arrived to pick up my car, it wasn't ready and needed a car wash. I patiently waited in their lobby for over 30 minutes and NOBODY came to tell me when the car was ready. Gurley Leep Volkswagen service only reinforces Volkswagen's reputation as dishonest and deceptive.

I saw that Gurley Leep was having a sale with a big tent, so we drove there first. Before we could enter the parking lot, 2 salesmen stopped us and told us to pull up to the building and sign up for free gas cards and giveaways before we looked around. I went into panic attack mode, to say the least, and after we pulled up to the building my husband had to tell the men to go away. We walked around the lot. It was freezing outside, and all I wanted to do was drive around in our car and look at the styles of cars and price tags, but we couldn't. You see, there are no price tags on the stupid cars. You have to talk to a salesman to get ANY information about the car other than obscure features that I don't look at first anyway. We got back in our car, and as we were getting ready to leave, the salesman had me open my window and asked again if we would give them our info for a free gas card. Seriously? My husband told me that a co-worker of his did sign up for something during a previous sale and they called him EVERY DAY for six months. I had to ask my husband why we even went there, if that was the case, but I think he was being supportive of my desire to look around. Dodged a bullet for sure.

Buyer be ware....these guys are known to gauge their prices. Quoted one price, then next week it's more. ALSO, any work that you get done ask to see the parts that were changed it fixed...dint assume that they did the work. They are not to be trusted. DANGER!

BEST DEALERSHIP AROUND BY FAR!!!! My husband and I purchased our 2006 BMW X5 in July 2014. We had the pleasure of working with Rolando Joel Reyna as our awesome salesman! He was the best salesman that we've ever worked with. He wasn't your typical pushy all I care about is making a sale and getting your money salesman. Sleezy servicers that will try to take as much money from you as possible. I brought my car in for a 75000 mile check in which they do a complete diagnostic and give you an e-mail print out of what needs to be repaired. When I opened my report, my invoice had over $4,000 in need repairs. I only got the $600 in needed repairs, but could have gotten it cheaper at a local auto body place. I've been going to them for a year, thinking that their service would be better and they would treat me like more than just a person that is paying their paycheck. I have yet to feel like a valued customer, and I won't return to get my vehicle serviced ever again.

My RV (on a Sprinter/Mercedes chassis) broke down on I-80 on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. I was heading from Vermont to Montana. Made a few calls and was referred to Gurley Leep Motorwerks. Got the RV towed to their facility on Saturday. Because of the holiday weekend, they were not available to look at it until Tuesday. They diagnosed the problem Tuesday morning and ordered the parts. Parts were installed Wednesday and I was on my way Wednesday afternoon. These people are awesome can care about their customers!

I'd like to start off by commenting that I rarely take the time to write online reviews. (In fact, this is the first car-related review I've ever written.) Our experience at Gurley Leep was so terribly awful, that I decided to take a few moments from my day off to write this negative (albeit very kind and forgiving) review. In short: We were on the market for a new car. We had taken the time to read several test-drive ratings, online articles, and purchasing guides, in order to decide (1) what car to buy and (2) what we were willing to (fairly) pay for that car. We are good simple people that stated our intentions and willingness to buy from the start, and drove a good distance to keep our scheduled appointment with the sales team. We experienced rude and condescending service, numerous bait-and-switch tactics, unfair and confusing pricing, sneaky add-on fees, and (unbelievably) aggressive mockery from Sales Manager Damon Donaldson. We took our business elsewhere, and happily purchased a 2012 Golf TDI from a very straightforward and honest (and completely different) dealership on Irving Park in Chicago instead.

Had a great experience buying my first Volkswagen in 30 years from these guys. After we clarified that the "product specialist" assigned to assist me was actually a salesman (God forbid - who wants to deal with a car salesman?), Russ Taylor spent a good chunk of a Saturday afternoon with my wife and I and helped us zero in on the right car for my business. Russ invited us to test drive a couple of cars within our price range, answered all of our questions, did not try to sell us more than we could afford, and saw to it that we got good value for our investment. My wife in particular has had some pretty awful experiences with car dealers and their aggressive sales tactics. None of that here. She loved working with Russ and I love my new 2014 Passat TDI. I got 45 MPG on my first highway trip in this car and it's not even broken in yet! I am looking forward to a long and satisfying relationship with this car and with this dealership. If my business succeeds, maybe I'll come back and buy a Mercedes from these guys (as long as they can sell me one that is as fuel efficient as my TDI).

One year ago today, 7/7/2016, I purchased a used car with 110,000 miles on it. The Finance Manager sold me the 2 year warranty for just over $2,100.00. We discussed that the warranty was for cars with less than 100,000 miles but he assured me that it shouldn't be a problem. 30 days after purchasing the car, I received a letter from the warranty service informing me that I was denied coverage. I called the Finance Manager about the situation and he assured me that the money would be returned to the bank in 4 months time (around November 7, 2016). The air conditioning and the air suspension went out... both would have been covered. But worse than that the $2100.00 is still in the possession of Gurley Leep Motorwerks!!! December through May I called maybe 3-4 times to get this resolved. Nothing! This past week I have called the Finance Manager 3 times. On 6/29 he told me he'd call me back "in a day or two". He didn't. I called him back on 7/3 and he said that "the paperwork verifying that the money was sent to the bank will be ready to pick up this afternoon. I'll call you when it's ready." He didn't call. I tried one last time to talk to him yesterday (7/6) and he wouldn't even take my call. I am done trying to contact him to get answers. I feel that I am left with no other choice then to call my lawyer and find out how to start the process to take Gurley Leep Motorwerks to small claims court and get this settled.

Like many here, we once thought Gurley Leep was a good place, until we caught the service department in a lie that cost us several hundred dollars. If you can't trust a business it doesn't matter how well they seem to treat you. I should have done my homework and check the Gurley Leep BBB ratings first. They are the lowest rated new car dealer/service department in the Michiana area. Almost all complaints are related to trust issues. They actually have more issues filed with the BBB than all the other new car dealers combined.

My wife and I purchased a 2018 Volkswagen GTI. The day we purchased this vehicle a new salesman was instructed to remove bird poop from the hood. He proceeded to use something so abrasive with such force that he scratched the hood so deep their service department couldn’t buff it out! That was day... one. After several days of having my new GTI home I decided to wash and wax it. It was then I discovered all these strange spots all over the car. It looked like water spots but they wouldn’t come off no matter what I did. I called sales supervisor Mike and my saleswoman and explained this to them. I brought the car the next day and showed them. They made me an appointment with their body shop to have the car buffed. And buff it they did! Swirl marks and holograms galore! I was concerned about compromising the clear coat before they even attempted any buffing. I knew they’d have to be very aggressive to remove whatever was on this car. I’m not sure if it’s concrete dust from the renovations they are doing or if there was transit issues. So at this point I have a 2 week old $33000 car with deep swirl marks marks all over it. I paid Zeibart try to fix the finish issues that the body shop caused. I can’t recommend this dealer or any Gurley Leep dealership after this terrible experience. I left a message asking the dealership manager to call me on 4/25/18. I also called the owner Mike Leep and I received no follow up from them as of 7/14/18. This cost us $1000 to repair the damage that the dealerships collision center caused by all the holograms and deep swirl marks. Gurley Leep compensated me $350 towards repairing the damage their collision center caused. I hoped that the issue was corrected, but I still have a vehicle with strange spots that are obvious in direct sunlight or in a garage with adequate lighting. *** Edit. What is Gurley Leep’s idea of “immediately” I have yet to receive any communication from the dealer. Edit #2 Since this post was written I still have not been contacted by Gurley Leep not even one phone call or email. I have called their corporate office in desperation and still no communication. Think twice before you consider this dealership chain.

I worked with Vincent Romano at the Gurley Leep on Grape Road and had a great experience. Vincent was great about helping me to find the car that was right for my needs. He never tried to sell me anything above my price range or anything he felt would be unreliable. We were able to communicate through text for the few weeks I was looking and established a great working relationship. I was looking for something for 4-6K to get me buy through paying off our newer car. It took a few weeks, because he was completely honest about letting me know when there was nothing for me at their dealership, but he did find the perfect car for me (2003 Honda Accord) for right in the middle of my price range. They were able to drop it off and pick it up from my mechanic for me to get checked out (as well as another car or two I looked at). I might add that my trusted mechanic whose been serving the area for years said that if I wasn't buying the car, he would. Finding a car dealer and a car salesman you feel like has your best interest in mind is sometimes something that seems impossible, but I left my car buying experience feeling great about it. I usually shop Honda dealers exclusively, but I know that when I replace a car in the future, I will be checking with Vincent to see what Hondas he can find for me.

My Pre-Sale Experience, I recently inquired about a 2018 Audi SQ5 with Sales Associate Jeff Spencer at Audi Gurley Motor Works. I explained to him in detail (Via Text Messaging) my current financial status with my trade in and that I would like to lease the vehicle. After back-and-forth text messages (which I kept for record) we finally agreed on some numbers that would work for me. At that point on Friday I decide to give a my personal information so that he could run a credit report. Now keep in mind that I didn't want an unnecessary credit inquiry on my credit profile unless the deal was promising thus the reason for agreeing on numbers that work for me prior to a credit check. After taking my personal information, Saturday rolls around and I hear nothing from Mr. Spencer. Monday rolls around and I still hear nothing from Mr. Spencer after trying to contact him through phone, text, and voicemail. At this point I'm feeling marginalized and disposed of, so I decided to call the sales manager to try to get information on why I had not heard back from him after almost two business days. I spoke with Tim, the Audi sales Manager and I assume after speaking with Tim, Mr. Spencer decides to call back within an hour. When I answer the phone call, he spoke with such poor phone etiquette not even greeting a potential customer in a respectable manner with a "HELLO." I can tell in Mr. Spencer's voice that he was checked out on whatever potential business that could have manifested. Mr. Spencer stated that his sales manager and himself had totally overlooked a key detail in the text messages which caused the deal to fall through. So I'll assume since he knew that the numbers that we agreed had fallen through, that he would give the customer a call to relay this pertinent information. I guess I was wrong for Assuming, but I digress. I specifically expressed all the details and verified them with Mr. Spencer as to not waste mine or his time prior to running my credit profile. To sum it all up, I'm glad I didn't patronize this establishment with the Mr. Jeff Spencer being my Sales Associate. The Pre-Sale Experience was disappointing and poorly executed and is a direct reflection of the leadership at Audi Gurley Motor Works in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Awesome experience at Gurley leep. My wife and I visited Gurley leep to just browse through the new models and also shared our intentions with Jordan Armod ( sales representative at Audi). Not only was he extremely courteous and friendly, he painstakingly understood our interest and took us through details of new SUVs for Audi and Mercedes. By next day he could convince us to buy new GLC300. Also the financing was quick and after sales detailed explanation of the features was very good . Excellent attitude.

Paige (Witherspoon) made the experience feel less about test driving a car and more about getting a good feel for the car and what it offered. Gurley Leep even worked with me to get some additional work done to my car without any hassle to me and a vehicle to drive while it was getting done. I would highly recommend going to this dealership when looking to find a new vehicle.

We now live in Tennessee where I purchased a 2017 Passat from the local VW dealer. My first service at the local TN dealer was awful to the point I will never go there again. We still travel to Indiana to visit family and thought I’d see if I could get the 20K service done while in town. To my delight I was able to schedule a Saturday service appt. Arriving at the dealer brought back a familiar feeling—this team is about providing great customer service. Ryan was an excellent advisor and my service was completed in no time at all. I’m so pleased that I am considering coordinating my future service appointments with family visits in Mishawaka so I can come back to Gurley Leep.

We did have a slight problem when it came to finalizing the deal because what we were quoted was changed when it came time to sign, but Cody made sure we got the price we agreed on. I had an excellent experience at Gurley Leep Motorwerks, in spite of a very difficult situation getting there. I brought my 24 foot motorhome in while driving cross country. While on my trip, I lost all signal lights on the rear of the motor home and could find no one to fix them. As I continued on, on what was to be my last day on the road before reaching Rochester, NY, I made a huge "operator error" causing major damage to the engine. Fred Foulks, in service was both professional and courteous! He helped make me and my dog comfortable as we dealt with the ordeal of getting home, while leaving my RV there for the next couple of weeks for repairs. He dealt with my insurance company and he and the service manager went the extra mile by getting in touch with the coach upfitter to repair the RV lights. I am much appreciative of all of the help I received from everyone at Gurley Leep Motorwerks!

We came to Gurley Leep looking for a car that (with our large SUV) would fit our new condominium garage. We knew it had to be smaller than our Honda Accord. I wanted a VW Beetle because of my 12 year love affair with my '71 Red Super Beetle, my first car. So salesman, Magic Mike Kulesia supposedly didn't have much selling to do. The only thing is there are many more choices in terms of options and engines than there were in '71 and he helped get us through those options to make our decision. We were actually allowed to take a car home overnight to see how it fit our garage. The next day on the way back we actually stopped at a different dealer to look at their subcompact. It was a little smaller and cost a lot less. When we got back to Mike, I asked him to tell me all the reasons I should buy a Beetle instead of the other car. He did convincing job of bringing me back to my first choice. Thrilled with my black convertible turbo Beetle. Thanks Mike. Talk to you soon for my second tutorial on all the options!

I would HIGHLY recommend against going to this Gurley Leep location to purchase or lease your next car. We recently leased a brand new Audi from this dealership and our experience has been absolutely TERRIBLE. I don't think I have ever been treated so poorly or ignored so much by a sales staff in any situation. After we signed our lease paperwork, we tried to follow up with our salesman to tie up some loose ends, and we were completely ignored. After not hearing back from our salesman for weeks, we left countless messages for other managers at the office and still heard nothing. Roughly six weeks after we signed our lease and following countless messages, we finally heard back from one of the managers. If this is how they treat their customers, especially customers who just leased a brand new and expensive vehicle, I can only imagine how they treat others who don't actually make a purchase or who purchase/lease a used vehicle. For a dealership selling luxury brand cars, they could use some work in their customer service department and could use a lesson on how to return phone calls.

Arrived with a Mercedes rental car under warranty, having issues. Rental company said to take it to GL just a mile away to get looked at for quick diag. Service manager refused, said they were too busy cuz they all go home in 45 minutes. It was 4:15. They close at 6. After explaining that it was rental and there was a time crunch, (military related), he again refused to even do diag, told me to come in next week! He then said you cant do diag on this model there is no OBD II interface! And of course when challenged he said only certified dealer could work on it due to warranty. We were encouraged to drive it as is and leave, set appointment for next week. Lol.

This is a long way from home and I stressed about going 40 miles for car service .... it was also a little challenging for an appointment .... but landing ... a triple A. I don't normally like to write poor reviews, but in extreme circumstances I will. I dropped my Audi off to get an estimate on some flood damage on a Friday morning, coordinated with the insurance company for the appointment. It took them 2 weeks to do an estimate to tell me they wanted $14k for a wiring harness. I was not too alarmed or upset by this, due to the fact dealer prices are usually a bit high.. After waiting another 2 weeks for the service department to bill the insurance company for estimate (they attempted to fax it, but for some reason were not able to, and could not email - this is a shame for an Audi dealership, to not be able to email a bill to a customer, or to an insurance rep... but also to fail faxing so many times and not escalate, or MAIL the bill...). I went in and paid directly and will have my insurance company reimburse me... however, after paying for the estimate, I see my car NOT put back together, the trim and sound deadening material removed, I have NEVER paid to get an estimate, and had them not return my car in the condition I dropped it off if I didn't get the work done, it's the last thing I would have expected from Audi. I would not recommend this service department, they seem like nice folk but this was unacceptable.

I had such an amazing experience at this dealership today. I am going through a divorce and needed someone to be able to work with me on my credit and being able to get a car on my own for the first time and they were more than helpful in bing able to do so. The first dealership I visited earlier that day was your Elkhart location because there was a jeep i was interested in buying, upon going there the sales manager Ken was very rude to me and I feel he treated me differently and tried to take advantage of the pricing of the vehicle because I was a woman. When left i felt very discouraged and didn't even want to buy a car anymore but then I remembered that there was a BMW i saw on gurley leeps website and gave them a call. When calling them I was transferred to Sonny who I explained my situation to and was more than understanding and wanted to get me taken care of. I went down to the dealer where I met with him and he was so pleasant to deal with, he worked with me on the pricing and was able to stay in the amount that I wanted to pay as well as getting me everything that I wanted. The sales associate Brandon that I was working with was amazing, he was able to get everything taken care of in a timely fashion and actually cared about getting me taken care of and not just selling me a car and seeing me as his commission. If Sonny's boss ever see's this you should know he is an extraordinary manager and puts his customers first no matter what, he was willing to take the time to get me within my means as well as getting me everything that I wanted. After todays experience with your dealership you have created a life long customer, thank you guys again so much I absolutely love my new BMW!

I bought a 2014 E-350 last year with less then 1k on it. It now has 18k on it. This car has stranded us twice with flat tires. I haven't had a flat tire in over 9 year before this car. I have been told the tires are fine and they tried charging me about $ 250 for a new tire, after throw A fit they replaced it for free. This second flat tire I went to Discount Tire and they were able to give me a $115 discount due to the remaining life of the tire. Gurley Leep was unwilling to offer any discount.. The car came with locking lug nuts but no key, I have been promised three times new lugs with a key but I am still waiting. It has been over three months now. I received a coupon for a free first service but when I went to cash in on it I was told that it was not available to use for the service that I needed. I felt scammed.

They are commissed service associates who don’t really make a living wage unless they sell you add on service that you really don’t need. We actually bought an extended service, which the denied even selling us until I furnished Copy of original loan paperwork. We then had our service done about a week or so ago and our car was stolen from their lot. We were treated like 3rd class citizens although we bought the car from them and had all of our service done by them. I beleve this is the worst car dealership that I have ever encountered in my 30 years of purchasing vehicles. Do not do business with them.

I second one of the other reviews about the wait time and questions asked for credit evaluation before even a test drive. Here's my story: I found a good deal on a pre-owned 2010 VW CC online. I filled-out their online "get pre approved" form to save time. I got a prompt call from the appointment coordinator who told me that I was pre-approved for financing. So we setup an appointment time and I showed up for a test drive and to discuss financing options. At the dealership, I was asked numerous questions for credit evaluation again, which took almost 1.5 hours! I had to fill out many details. The sales representative was good, but I do not understand why I had to do all that paperwork to at least test-drive the car! I know I do not have excellent credit history, which is EXACTLY why I filled-out the online form to save their and my time. I would not have visited their dealership had they not called me and told me, "you're pre approved!". Bottomline is, after a 2 hour-wait, I was told that they cannot finance and extend credit to me! So, I had to return even without having a glimpse of the car that I wanted to test-drive! I don't understand why they had to make me look like an idiot! I'm never going back there.

I purchased a certified 2015 Kia Sorento from Gurley Leep in January. I noticed about a month or so ago that the brakes were not like they should. I took it to my auto shop for an oil change when I was told that I have several critical issues on the Kia that need dealt with. Such as back brakes, rotors and pads, rear shocks, 2 bad tires and that’s just the major issues. I called Gurley Leep and they wanted to of course take a look as well. I dropped it off yesterday and explained to Kia Service what was going on and that this is completely unsatisfactory. They had to look twice because they missed the first time. But did confirm what the other auto shop had stated. After speaking with Hailey, she got with the Motorwerks dept as that is who I purchased it through and it was confirmed that they would do all repairs today, the 3rd at their cost. Parts were confirmed that they were in and that I would get a call from a Brandon to discuss pickup. I received a call at about 8:30 today from Kia Service stating that it was not authorized and that they did not know Hailey had called Motorwerks and confirmed. So now my car is still sitting there all day, unfixed and I have been given the runaround all day. No one can contact Tim Chapman, who is the one who has to authorize. I cannot believe the disorganized chaos here and absolute disregard for the customer. Let me say, when I purchased this vehicle, I was told I would not have issues for years. I was concerned about this as I had just lost my husband the month before and could not afford to pay for repairs for a vehicle that shouldn’t need them and explained that to my salesman. So to me, I feel I was given false information from the moment I walked into the store. Thank you Gurley Leep for making my year much more heartbreaking.

Bottom line is they care about sales, not about people. I should know, I worked as a regional trainer for a global luxury brand and have trained hundreds of people in customer relationships and experience. Cars are expensive purchases, and the experience should be pleasant and bring the buyer joy--Gurley Leep would do well to improve their buying experience through training. I am traveling 1-2 hours to other VW dealers to purchase my VW Golf, even though Gurley Leep is 3 minutes from my job. --- Worst buying experience ever. I went in to test drive a Golf, the staff passed me to a new salesman there named Josh who ignored most of what I said and kept trying to get me to fill out an application even though I told him I am financing through my bank. He had me sit at his desk for over an hour to talk about buying (before I even saw a vehicle). So I got up, walked to a new Golf, got inside and demanded a test drive. It took him another 15 mins to get a tag and another person to ride with us since he was new. Both Josh and Mike, the veteran salesman, talked through the entire test drive--I had to ask them to be quiet so I could experience the vehicle. Then they began to whisper about me and what I might buy, not realizing how small and acoustically sound the Golf is and that I could hear them clearly. I left that day totally put off. Josh called me a few days later and asked me to come try another vehicle if I was in the area. I stopped by later to test drive a GLI. After this test, Josh asked if I would come in to speak to someone else (mind you, I haven't settled on any vehicle to purchase at this point, and the car he called me to test drive did not have any of the features I requested--when I arrived he immediately apologized for his mistake, but it seemed like he was just trying to get me back in the dealership for a sales conversation without caring about my price point or requested features). Then He left me at his desk and a larger, older, less welcoming salesperson came over, whom I called "the closer," and tried intimidating me into a decision. I felt like I had done something wrong by wanting to shop around or see more options from the way he presented himself and interacted with me. I left there deciding that I would NEVER purchase anything from Gurley Leep (I went to their Kia and Subaru lots also) unless they improve the standards of their customer service, stop trying to manipulate their customers into a sale, and are more transparent with pricing. Btw, I also visited the Audi dealership attached to the VW shop--no one ever spoke to me or even made eye contact. I watched an Audi salesman play on his phone through his glass office window, when he saw me, he put it down, but immediately looked away. I don't know why. I had my friend, who is in a wheelchair, with me at Audi and VW, and they didn't even help us with the door any of the 5-7 times we entered and exited their building.
