My entire 5 star review begins and ends with Donnie Jones. From the minute we walked in and looked around he was full of knowledge. We left went and had lunch looked at other dealerships . We came back to Audi... I love the Q3.... that’s what I came back for , but also because of the great salesman Donnie was. We did the deal that evening and he stayed well passed closing time to go over features on my new ride!! Great job and thank you so much

Really exceptional service. Was on a business trip from Chicago and got a flat. Called Audi, then the dealer as I needed to replace the tire for the return trip. Trey made it seamless and went out of his way on several things. If I lived within 50 miles of this Audi dealer, I would make the trip because they are worth it. Maybe even 75 miles. And they weren’t jerks because I am a woman. Extra points for that. Seriously.

Just went to look at some used cars and was treated very poorly. There were cars advertised on their site that I said I'd like to see. One they said was being driven and maybe purchased. I saw it on the way in and looked out and could see it when they told me it wasn't there. The other one I was interested, which was again on their site for sale with a price and everything, they assured me I didn't want bc it had an oil leak. I said I'd still like to see it. They went to "check on it" then came back 2 minutes later to tell me it wasn't being sold and they we going to take it to auction. I've never had any other dealings with them. I had cash ready to purchase and they, what feels like, refused to allow me to see the cars I wanted to see.

Lack of communication and following through in the service department, needs improvement. This has happened to us on several occasions and find it necessary to post publicly this last visit. Here's to hoping for improvement otherwise taking our business elsewhere!

Ever try to get a fast replacement for a hard-to-find tire? That's the spot I was in, with a flat on my Audi Q7, and new tires not available at dealers close by. I needed to get back on the road to Chicago, 3 1/2 hours away, and at 3:30 in the afternoon. Calling Audi Indianapolis I found out that I had, thankfully, a run-flat tire and could make it the 33 miles to their dealership. I can't imagine a better experience. Andrew Fier was waiting for me on my arrival (they closed at 6). He checked all the tires to be sure I would be riding safely, and I ended up with two new ones. He was polite, accommodating, professional, and knowledgeable and a credit to his employer--I would like to see folks like him at the Chicago area Audi dealerships! Plus, while the car was getting squeaked into the last spot in the mechanic's schedule, Andrew got us a loaner so we could enjoy some Nashville hot chicken. Excellent experience all around.

I purchased a second hand used car from Bruce Peterson at Tom Wood Audi. Bruce had car clean and dry for me to look at upon arrival. Some dealers will hide scratches by showing a wet car, but this car was clean and dry so I could see what I was buying. He was totally prepaired for my arrival and had a nice preplaned test drive so I could tell how smooth the car rode. He also informed me of documentation fees at the time that we agreed on a price. Some dealers will agree to a price and then when you get in the buisness office you notice that the price is not what you agreed to pay. At my age, I’ve purchased too many new and used cars to count and most experiences were more of a test of my patient than pleasurable experience. Buying the car from Bruce was a pleasurable experience and I would recommend Bruce and Tom Wood Audi as a good place to buy a car. Now that I think about it, my first new car purchase was from Tom Wood Toyota back in 1985 and it was also a pleasurable experience as well.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. I had a scheduled appointment for a service that I was told would take no more than 30 minutes. 90 minutes later and significantly crunched for time with a pending flight, the staff were unsympathetic and actually talked back to me when I politely expressed my frustration. Then the car would not start. No one offered solutions or seemed to care about my experience or my dwindling time window. SO disappointing for a luxury brand like Audi. Worst. Ever.

I decided to go with Tom Wood Audi because it's your specialty. I never considered customer service would an issue ,because you work with luxury cars. The first issue that I encountered was no one was willing to give me timeline, or share knowledge about the process. Every issue that I had Tom Wood Audi reps referred to the loaner car; as if I should be thankful and content(it's not my car so why would I be). My car just sat around for a whole week before the extended warranty company was even contacted. I had to ask Troy my service manager if he even contact the warranty company. It took one week for Audi and the warranty department to collaborate and agree...... So understandable (but this is now week two for me). Any and every updated information about my vehicle was only received because I had inquired. So then there was waiting on parts, which I found to be hilariously awkward, because they also sale parts. But in the back of my mind, I couldn't help but think this is only a 4 to 6 hour job, how much time do they really need. Troy blamed the warranty company as if he didn't have any part in it or there was no way he could have made things better . The mechanic took at least three non-consecutive apparently unplanned days off during this 18 day process. So I did with every frustrated customer would do.. called Caleb (advisory manager). Sweetest understanding tone, he understood my frustration and said that I would be a priority. My car will be one of the first cars to be fixed. I said okay I just want my car...I felt as if he understood but I'm still waiting on my car.

I have to downgrade the review. Ordered a new key, they never did call when it came in. You would think when a part comes in they would let you know. They never explained what the process was which was waiting 45 minutes to take in the shop for programming. Found that their programming cost was 100 dollars and Audi of Lafayette was 60 dollars. Took 15 minutes. I give them 2 stars and won't be going back.

Have always had good and timely service from Audi Indianapolis, until my last service in March 2019. I had my car towed there for a broken water pump. It was an unplanned visit, but it seems that as the only Audi dealer in this area, they should be prepared for emergency fixes. Not so. It took them 4 days to get to my car, and although I asked repeatedly, I was not offered a loaner vehicle till the 3rd day, at which point it was easier for me to just wait one more day than ask someone to take me to get it. The costs are always top of range for repairs and service, but I have continued to use them, since my car had very few issues. Even so, over $900 for LABOR alone for this repair, seems shocking! When I asked the service agent why a water pump on a high end vehicle would break at 70k miles, I was told to ‘consider spending another few thousand dollars for an extended warranty’. In the future, we will investigate other Indy-area service options.

The service in the recall was quick and punctual. My car was not washed like it usually is. One of my tires was low and the indicator late came on on my drive home. We had to replace the tire. I’m not sure if that is something that is checked during service

It may be one sales representative and not a whole brand, however I’m just going to stick with competing brands due to very poor sales experience here. I was very disappointed by an email conversation with Greg Pirinelli, where he became condescending and rude. This was after I test drove a Prestige Q7. I told him about a BMW X3 I just bought and somehow he thought I’m not in the market anymore for the Q7 we were discussing about. After I clarified that the Q7 would have been a separate purchase and talking about the X3 was just to illustrate the BMW offers, he basically just replied with a condescending email telling me to be sure to let him know if I’ll want his services in the future. After I told him that I don’t appreciate the condescending tone, there was no reply from him and no apology. Sadly, I had another bad experience with an Audi dealership in NJ, so I think it may be Audi too. I recommend Dreyer Reynbold (BMW) and although I didn’t buy yet from them, also Worldwide Motors have been good (Mercedes). I actually had positive experiences with BMW and Mercedes dealerships elsewhere. I also had a positive experience with Penske Honda.

I have always had good experiences with service here overall. This Saturday must have had someone call in sick or over booked as I waited a fair amount of time for a basic oil change. I expected to wait but not as long. I had scheduled an appointment and arrived on time. I didn’t leave for more than two hours after. The staff was apologetic and I know they did their best to get me through as quickly as they could. I don’t expect a 15 minute “lube” experience but an hour or less would have been closer to expectations.

This Audi dealership seems to take care their customers better than some, especially if you are requiring a service on your car. Ask for Chris Wisnieski, in my experience he’s always giving his best with no spare. Don’t hesitate to ask for his help especially when other starts giving you a “whatever” service. I’d give a 5 star if everyone treats their customers like Chris. Went in for a 95K service. Had requested a loaner car because we had been told on last visit would need brakes and rotors. When we went back 4 hours later, we were pleasantly surprised to find brakes & rotors did not need replacing and were likely good for another 10-15K! I was met immediately upon arriving. My agent listened to my needs and escorted me to the lounge which was well stocked and comfortable. Since the repair required keeping the car overnight a loaner vehicle was supplied. Upon returning the next day l learned that all of the work was covered by warranty my bill was zero. Just arriving to Indianapolis I hit a large pothole resulting in 2 flat tires. Audi roadside assistance took care of towing to the dealer and Chris went above his obligations to get the right tires replaced, car inspected for damaged and wheel alignment to specs. It took a few days to get the new tires in but they help me with a rental so I can continue with my work and family obligations. With good service like that I am confident recommending this dealer and Chris.

My first Audi was a TT which i drove off the showroom floor in the summer of 1999 (a 2000 model). It was a blast to drive right up until i was broadsided by a Chevy in the fall of 2003. In the interim my family had grown, so I switched to a Lexus GX470. A faithful commuter, family and sports outing vehicle with the absolute best service department. So good I drove it a remarkable 13 1/2 years before passing it along to my oldest kid. But my fond Audi memories and the allure of returning to a car - along with the beautiful design of the Audi A6 - drew me back. I love driving my Audi A6 - it is consistently responsive, quiet, fun. The buying experience was easy and efficient. Then the first oil change rolled around, and I missed my Lexus. Since I live and work about an hour away from Lexus (and Audi dealerships - they are adjacent and owned by the same company) they aways picked it up and left a loaner. Full priced service, but absolutely worth it. Audi said “sorry, buddy, make the drive.” So I scheduled a Friday afternoon for an oil change. Glad I brought a computer to use their free WiFi because it was 4 hours before they told me it was done. An hour there, an hour back and that is 6 hours of prime time for an oil change. Ouch. I had little choice but to use a great local mechanic for the next couple oil changes. 2 manufacturer recalls were waiting then the check engine light came on, telling me it was time for a trek to the Audi service department. They could arrange a loaner if I could wait 3 1/2 weeks, so I waited. The day arrived and traffic from road construction conspired to make it an 80 minute journey. I made it with all of 10 minutes to spare and slid into the service representative’s guest space. “We are out of loaners - do you want an Uber or a ride on our shuttle?” Not excited about the alternative after a 3 1/2 weeks wait, but I said sure to either and reminded him I just spent 1 hour and 20 minutes getting there so my ride home on the shuttle might not make the shuttle driver happy. Through an act of providence one last loaner materialized to the great relief of all parties. Glad it did, because it was 5 days before I received a text that they were now looking over my car and another 4 days before it was ready. Another hour up (traffic was better) and I was finally able to exchange the Sentra loaner for my A6. 4:40 of travel time, plus 9 days for the service. 2 recalls and a new turbocharger later and the A6 is a joy to drive once again. Love the Audi. Miss the Lexus service. What next? I’ve decided service will have to be the deciding factor.

I would have rated them a five however after having my car for about a week and a trip to their body shop I find a pair of panties on the floor of my backseat and my passenger seat in a recliner position. My husband called and the manager was respectful and said he would look into it. Still gives me an uneasy feeling but had it not been for that it, they would have been rated higher. As a manager I know you can’t always control what happens with your employees but the way it was handled was as professional as it could be.

Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ahead of time for maintenance (Don't get many days off and want to use the time I have efficiently). I drop my car off at the scheduled time 9:30am, pick up a loaner Hyundai and am told I'll be contacted with a price for the work by 1:30pm. Get a message at 1:30p that there's no word yet, and that I'll be contacted at 3:30pm with an update. 3:30pm, still nothing - Told I'll be contacted shortly with an update. At 5:00pm I contact them for an update, as I planned to go out of town that evening. I'm told they still don't have an ETA. Upon further questioning, I find out they haven't even touched my car 8 hours after my scheduled appointment time. I've had issues with this dealership previously - I now always schedule ahead of time so I'm able to have a loaner vehicle, as I've been made to wait over 6 hours in person at the dealership for an oil change. Now they can't even honor a scheduled appointment - Ridiculous. They did reach out a couple of times to try to make things right, but if I had time to bring my car in or schedule someone to pick it up I would've done that in the first place! I'm finished with Tom Wood and would recommend EVERYONE stay away if you value your time. Unfortunately these jerks have a monopoly of the Indianapolis metro area, but I can say Mike Raisor Audi of Lafayette is MUCH better ran, nicer people, and can actually honor a scheduled appointment. I'm never giving Tom Woods another dime and would recommend looking elsewhere if you're able. I'm starting to regret having an Audi as you're almost forced to deal with jerks like this whenever an issue pops up. Good riddance.

Mostly courteous but the representative was outright angry at me for leaving a negative rating No follow up at all for days, regarding a major repair. I understand there was info needed but the gentlemen had no one follow up on the case. He then proceeded to talk loudly for 3 minutes telling me why he disappeard over the holidays and didn’t bother to keep in touch. When I picked up my car the reassigned representative was super nice! When I got in the car nothing had been cleaned or washed like Audi usually does as a courtesy, Got an estimate from another shop for half the price quoted by dealer, If you need a major repair definitely shop around.

Went in looking for an off lease Q5. They had a great selection and our salesperson Dennis was second to none. Low pressure and very informed. It takes 5 weeks or more to get your car in. The cost of repair is ridiculous. Audi wanted to charge $150 to see if my air conditioning unit was clogged. I took it somewhere else and.. guess what ... they did it for free... FREE.. they said it would take maybe 5 minutes. Maybe all dealerships are this way who knows but I did not experience this with Chevy. Needless to say I will attempt to not purchase another car from Tom Wood.

Brought my A6 in for an air bag recall. Received very poor service. Was told it would only take one day to complete. After not hearing form them all day I called and they gave be a very brief response "its just not done yet". Then they quickly ended the conversation. The car was brought in with an airbag and check engine light on. I thought they were to do with the recall being performed. The car was picked up with the same two light still on. The invoice they gave me stated there was a multi point inspection done on the car and the findings were provided to the customer. This was not done. I did not heard anything from the dealership, only that my car was read to be pick up. Very poor customer service. Definitely will not be giving them any more business.

Nice shop, very clean. I had my car in for a recall on the air-bag and they checked over my car. Service was quick, they got me going in less that an hour. The waiting room was stocked with coffee, tea, got chocolate,water and snacks. Very nice waiting area with a window overlooking the shop. This is a very professional operation and I recommend it.

Service departments at dealerships aren't just for 'new' cars. Audi does a great job. I know that in general, taking a car to a dealership for repair and maintenance can be expensive and unnecessary. This is not the case with Audi. It costs me a bit more to have the oil changed with them, but it's worth it. I can't imagine going anywhere else. This location (and before it, the Bloomington location) keep my '91 TT on the road.

I purchased my car there along with Audi Care. Every time after service I was given a multi-point inspection report, showing everything is green (Good), including suspension and tires. The rear shocks have been bad for a while, but it was spotted by a friend of mine because the rear tires were worn so unevenly and had some flat spots. But they never spot it in their service. Now I have to replace my tires sooner than necessary. Very bad experience with this dealership in the midst of going through replacing shocks and tires. They are not responsible at all.

The worst auto dealership that I have encountered. They took a week to change a tire, three days to change oil, and now that my driver-side window and door are not functioning, I can't schedule a repair for more than two weeks. Communication from the dealership these incidents has been non-existent. My car is under warranty, but after the first two experiences, I have gone out of my way to take it to other mechanics. Please. Don't buy or bring an Audi to the Indy area. And NEVER bring your Audi to this dealership.

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. It took 1 hour and 40 minutes. Later that afternoon my sensor went on saying low tire pressure/check immediately and record MMI. My appointment was on a Friday so I went all weekend with that obnoxious warning every time I started my car. Tire pressure was fine, by the way. They just didn't reset the sensor. I was disappointed that I had do drive all the way back to Tom Wood Audi to have this issue addressed on Monday. Check the sensors after a tire rotation!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a franchised dealership, not sure how Audi accepts this kind of product representation. The service department replaced our air conditioner compressor less than 2 years ago, we took the car back this month 7/9/19 since the air stooped working and they put Freon in and sent us on our way. 3-days later it stopped working again so we took it to another shop that found that the condenser was damaged (so they repaired that) but they couldn’t get the compressor to go on. Took the car back to Audi on 7/16 and they told us we now needed a new compressor (after less that 2-years since they first replaced it) for $2,600. Rod Ingallas (GM) and Caleb Nobbe (Service Manager) were absolutely no help. In fact, Nobbe became extremely condescending when my wife questioned the minimal length of time the first compressor lasted & how they had missed the real problem on 7/16. When my wife asked Nobbe why he didn’t have the background on her car repairs he just mumbled something. Real class act, not sure where Audi found this crew. Way to go Audi, really high-end experience....

Made in inquiry on a Thursday late afternoon via web portal. Had a retuned phone call, text and email within about 15-20 minutes. Spoke to salesman a few times Friday. Agreed on general deal spec’s. Made the trip on Saturday to see and test drive car, confirm trade-in, etc. My only negative was the time lag between signing deal with salesman and actually getting into business office to complete the deal took a long time. In general, day four, very happy and satisfied!!!! Would recommend.

Justin and team found a pre-owned Vehicle out of state to meet our specific list of requirements, brought it to town and was able to make it a CPO vehicle. Initially the vehicle had some finish issues which they addressed. We negotiated a bit on pricing but it wasn’t long and drawn out - and ultimately we got a good price. The “money guy” that sells the extras was very matter-of-fact and not pushy either, enjoyed working with him too. Hello and let me tell you fine people something. I swear I have never had an experience like I did at Audi Indianapolis for my oil change. These people were amazing from the first hand shake. When I say they were some of the most professional people I have ever dealt with I mean it and they were beyond kid and FAST. My appnmt was at 9, this was my first oil change since owning an Audi and I think if they could have gotten my car back there at 9:01 they would have. There were several others there and the staff literally made it look as if they only had one person to deal with. Everything was so efficient from start to finish and when the rep asked if I would like for them to wash my car, I honestly said are you serious? He said if you would like us to we can and I said that's awesome. Everyone up to the sales guys were very friendly with advise and just general conversation. I felt like a king in there being I've never received the treatment provided by all the staff. They make you feel at home and just very comfortable with their whole process and time of having your vehicle taken care of. One of the best experiences ever and I know all these guys have to get the same response that I'm giving being that I'm huge on customer service and they are great at it. I have nothing but great things to say about my time at Audi Indianapolis and very please with the staff and their professionalism/knowledge. Simply Amazing!

Very, very good experience. Bought Audi Q5 2015/2014. Dennis was our sales representative and was professional, not pushy and very helpful. There was the back-and-forth between the sales rep and GM that I suppose I had hoped was passé, but other than that I would, so far, unequivocally buy from Audi Indy again. So many places nitpick and squeeze the last dollar from the customer and that leaves such a bad taste. I can say that was not the case here...floor mats were found for the car, the car had new tires on it, fresh servicing (45K check), detailed and even a full tank of gas for the 2 hour ride home. The little things count (especially the gas, since I didn’t have to leave the dealership and pump gas in the rain). Dennis even had the cars started, warmed up and went through the navigational controls with us before we left. Would buy from Audi (and Dennis) again.

It appears the car was washed on the left side, but not the right. You could leave a mark in the dust with your finger. Horrible experience. Took 6 weeks to get my car scheduled for service. Was told multiple times that Audi has no mechanics or good help. Brought car in finally when scheduled on a Friday. Arranged for a rental car. Was told that no one would even be able to look st my car until the following Tuesday. Service guy had nerve to ask me if I wanted to take my car back home and come back the following week. After 6 weeks of waiting for an appointment. On Tuesday no one called me. I phoned in Tuesday at 5:45 pm. Was told by service advisor that he doesn’t know when they’ll look at my car. Thursday they called me after I contacted Allstate and complained to them who had authorized the rental car. Suddenly, the service advisor called and said my car is all fixed. The reverse angle camera was not functioning like prior to me being rear ended. I picked up the car and it was no different than before. This is a lease vehicle and I best not be responsible for turning it in with the camera still not right. We have always owned Audi’s and purchased in Ft Myers FL. The Audi dealership there is beyond remarkable. This place is a joke. We will probably not be purchasing another Audi because the service department sucks.

I called ahead and explained that I wouldn't have the full check for the car until the next day due to my bank being closed. I asked if there was anything I could do to make sure I would drive the car home that night if that's what I wanted. I drove 1.5 hours one way to see the car. The salesman said the money down and the preapproval letter would work after offering me to finance there and I told him no. When we sat down to start paperwork, he said "You don't have the check, do you?". I said no because we already discussed this on the phone and he said I couldn't pull the car off the lot without the check, but I could finance there if I wanted. He also stated that it wouldn't hurt my credit if they pull it again because the credit bureau lumps it all together for buying a new car (which is not true). Clearly frustrated, I asked for money off of the car. He couldn't do that because there were 4 other people lined up to see it. I like the car, but I didn't approve of the dishonesty from the salesman. I drove a total of 6 hours instead of the expected 3.

While visiting from out of state, I had a power steering fluid leak. Since it was urgent, Audi happily let me bring car by without any appointment. My service advisor, Chris W.was great! Since they had to order an out-of -the -ordinary unstocked part; I had to leave my car at the dealership. The part came in less than two days later and the repair was made good as new. It was really nice to have the same great friendly service from Audi Indy as I get from Audi in my own home state.

I have not been to all but some of other luxury car brands in Indianapolis but based on my experience this place has by far the best facility and friendliest staff. The facility has lots of modern and clean materials inside and walls and doors made out of clean glasses gave openness and transparency - you can even see staff working through glass doors. In general it gives a good vibe inside. Contrary to some other dealerships I have been, staff here were not pushy, so I was able to explore a lot about their products and services with much comfort. They were also very responsive and gave a call right back during their hours after I left some messages. Steve is awesome and I got a second car from him - if there is a returning customer in a car sales business you know that he is doing everything right. Overall my experiences were very pleasant with them so far and there is nothing more I can ask from them.

I suppose the brake work itself was done well. But I was annoyed at the process. One, I presented a 10% coupon when I brought the car in. When I was presented the bill, it had not included the 10% discount and I had to bring it to the manager’s attention. That should not happen. Two, the work had been identified in March, that brake work was needed. I scheduled the work three weeks before I brought the car in, so plenty of time to ensure the parts were there, ready for a one-day job. Of course, within an hour I was called and told the parts had to be ordered, so it was a two-day job. The manager told me “sorry” that the process was in place to make sure all necessary parts were preordered and ready to go. Just not this time. This is the second poor experience I’ve had this year with Tom Wood Audi. In March another one-day job took four days because of a serviceman shortage. What’s happening with you guys??
