I just wanted to take a minute to rate my experience at Volvo Lisle. As you can see I gave it a 5 star review. More specifically I would like to give high praise to the general mgr Ken Kowal. Not only was he extremely genuine but also a true professional. His knowledge and experience in auto sales was far superior to that of other people I experienced at other dealerships. After shopping around and doing my homework he made me the best deal possible and I could not have asked for anything more than that. This is a honest and trustworthy dealership and whole staff is incredible.

Went in for my 105k service + had brake & abs light on. the S60r just didn't feel right. Dominic helped me with what needed repair and options. Dom also asked the mechanic to check out a few things I was concerned about. communication was great even tho I was fickle about getting something done that didn't need done right now. I had made my mind up to get it done and Dom(Volvo) took care of it no problem. when picking up the car I had a few questions about some charges and Kelsey was just great about explaining and taking care of everything, I felt very comfortable. Volvo had a special on detailing so I had it done also, so when I saw my car it looked brand new and when I left I felt as if I had just bought the car 8^}) . I may not go a million miles like someone else had in his Volvo, but I'm sure gonna keep it going as long as I can and as long as I live in driving distance to Volvo of lisle I'll be taking my 04 S60R 105k+ there for any future work

Great treatment from the sales people - Lorena made me feel very comfortable and I did not feel any sort of sales pressure. She answered all my questions. The sales manager, Ken, came over to chat and made sure I got a really good price on the V90 Cross Country I was interested in. The finance manager Thomas took time to explain things with me, and was gracious about giving me extra time to make sure that money was available in my account to cover the check I wrote for the car. Leaving your car for service? Think again, ask 2nd or even 3rd opinion.... Not satisfied with the service at all but very helpful parts department. I'll try to be as short as possible: I took my car in for diagnostic for improperly working blower motor, they quoted me at around $1200 to replace my blower motor and resistor. Arround $420 from the quoted amount was going toward replacing my blower fan and I was 90% sure that my only problem was the resistor. I bought it and replaced it my self, the ac/heating is working perfectly the blower is all good. I wouldn't be writing this if they just told me that it's not necessary to replace the blower fan but they recommend it doing it to save me labor of replacing in a year or two, but replacing a working $400 part is definitely not at all ok for me. No complaints for the quality of work cause I haven't fixed anything with them but if you do value your money think twice before letting them do the job for you. Rated 3 stars with the overall experience but the service itself (not quality but way of work) I wouldn't give it no more than 1 star.

I purchased a used 2012 Subaru Outback from Volvo of Lisle. The vehicle came with lug-nut locks and the seller failed to inform me of this info. It was not fun trying to change a flat tire after I had already cleaned the key out of the car since I didn't know what it was. Call me ignorant but I had never seen wheel locks before. Additionally, the vehicle was sold to me with front brake pads that they were low on the inspection form and they gave it another inspection and told me that it was actually changed out. I had to change the brakes and rotors within the first 3 months of driving the vehicle. I would not recommend this dealer to a friend.

We bought our 2011 XC60, NEW, at this dealership. Prior to owning this car, we had been extremely happy Honda owners. I say that, because the service department at Fox Valley Honda is much more thorough,honest, and diligent with their work. We recently brought our Volvo in for its second detailing, along with the 16,000 mile regular maintenance. After picking up the car , driving home, and parking it in our garage, we saw a brand new scrape and chip to the front passenger side bumper(all the way through the paint)-which was NOT there when we dropped it off that same morning. Not one person told us about it, which is the most disappointing...and we take EXCELLENT care of this vehicle. Be forewarned: IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR CAR IN FOR ANY SERVICE, TAKE A WALK AROUND THE CAR WITH WHOEVER YOU ARE HANDING THE KEYS TO, BOTH BEFORE WORK IS PERFORMED & WHEN YOU PICK UP THE CAR. This will insure you do not have to give up more time & energy to rectify the problem. We will not be as trustful with this Volvo service department in the future, and will ALWAYS take pictures of the car before it is dropped off for service. Extremely disappointing.

AAA towed my backup vehicle, a 2001 Volvo, to this location from my home that's 44 miles away. I chose this location out of the only two dealerships that can create a key from scratch for Volvo because of the proximity to my job in Naperville. The AAA driver felt uneasy about leaving my car here because of the welcoming that we received upon entering the facilities very restrictive in space parking lot. Nevertheless, against my and his good judgement, we left the vehicle in the hands of this dealership. Once the key was made about two days later, I called AAA to tow my vehicle back to my home. I noticed that the cover to the passenger side outer mirror was missing. Instead of this dealership taking responsibility, they attempted to say this is how the vehicle was received. However, AAA confirmed that the vehicle was dropped off with this part in tact. Eventually, the Service Manager conned up some deal where we would split the cost 60/40 for the part after playing phone tag for a week and waving legal ACTION over his head. Initially, I decided to go along with the ripoff deal because who has time to take legal action plus I have two newer cars to get around in. When I came to pick up the part, I had to wait at least 45 minutes for someone to even retrieve the mirror cover which I never received until this day. I left to get back to work on time. This experience left a very sour taste and I'll never do any type of business with them again. Which doesn't mean much because they don't want my business in the first place. I'm going to flat out and say it, if you're African American, please think twice before patronizing this dealership. Again, even the AAA felt uneasy about leaving my car here. I found an online part store that has the cover for a fraction of this dealership's cost. I paid $250 to have a key made and expected better service along with respect from here. If you need a key made, please choose the Volvo location in Oak Park, IL.

My car battery wasn't holding a charge. I called this facility three times in about twenty four hours for their advice, which was helpful and reassuring. I finally brought the car in on short notice and waited for service. The Volvo of Lisle crew researched the problem thoroughly, and John reassured me and kept me informed throughout. They solved the problem and very kindly checked everything--including the air pressure in my tires since I'll be taking a trip soon--at no charge to me. They're always busy, and still routinely take time to focus on each customer and service issue as if there's no one else there. They're great with questions and tips, too. It was a stressful day for me otherwise, and their careful attention to the car eased my mind. I have counted on this service team for years with two different Volvo wagons, both great cars. I really appreciate knowing I can trust them to know how to take great care of my car and me. The quality service at this location is one of the top reasons I stay with Volvos. Thanks so much!

I bought my first Volvo in 2004 and bought my second in 2012. The only time I did not take my car here for service, I ended up with a problem with a repair. This time my car needed standard maintenance and I was able to book my appointment online at a convenient time and day for me and was able to choose the service advisor who knows me. I was driven back home while my car was being repaired and was picked up again when my car was finished. I had some issues with some tar on my car, and they gave that extra attention when they washed my car. I feel right at home with the service department at Volvo of Lisle and know if my car has some type of issue it will get resolved quickly.

I have never been so appalled by a dealership or sale person in my life. I called the dealership before making the hour and a half drive to make sure the vehicle I was interested in was still for sale. By the time I got there, they increased the asking price of the vehicle. I was still willing to work with them even after the less than professional behavior I already had experienced. They weren’t even willing to bring the car back down to the price they originally asked for and continued to provide nothing but lies as to why there was an increase. They were unprofessional, not accomading, and didn’t even want to pretend like they were interested in selling me a vehicle when I had cash in hand. Both my wife and I have volvos we bought at Volvo of Lisle, and for a long time we were very satisfied and pleased with the service. Then came the crash, and my beautiful s60, the best car I have had since my 64 Merc convertible, was crashed in their shop when a tech let a cart fall and dump tools all over the hood of my extra cost Mystic Blue Paint job. I got the run around for two hours, and finally they made a deal, that took care of everything but the hood. Oh, well, I said okay. But the service reps began to avoid me like the plague, I am sure it was because I called their boss and the owners to complain. It was there fault after all. This past week I brought it in, with trepidation and Jennifer was the best. Great service, pleasant and helpful and up front. I believe in second and even third chances, and as long as I am treated like I belong there, I will come back. You cannot have a service department that treats their customers poorly and ever expect them to come back to buy another car from them. Our daughter will need a car soon for college and so we will be looking for another car for us, while she gets one of ours for school, Where we buy from will all depend on the next few times we come in for service. Time will tell.

I bought a 2000 s40 used, so I brought it into the Volvo dealership of Lisle to get the free 39 point inspection. Everyone there was so great. They answered all of my questions since I am a first time volvo owner, and even took me back to the bay area when they were done with the inspection to point things out on the under body of my car so I could see things for myself. The mechanics explained things in a way I could understand, and didn't rush. I have never been one to bring my car to the dealer to get work done, but after this experience I will be back!

My wife and I recently purchased a used 2014 Honda Crv EXL fron Volvo of Lisle. It was truly a wonderful experience. We had the pleasue of dealing with two diffent salesmen who were truly professional. We had very specific paraneters as to what we were looking for in this vehicle and located it at Volvo of Lisle. However this dealership is almost a 4 hour drive from our home and we had reservations about traveling that far. Frankly we had gone to several other places closer to our home and were disapointed in what we found. I called and spoke to John Taylor several times throughout the day and he was both friendly and helpful. I expressed my concerns to him about coming that far. John went the extra step and specifically looked over the vehicle we were considering. He gave me a accurate and detailed description of the vehicle including a small scratch he observed. Even with that he reassured me that he didn't believe that we would be disappointed in the vehicle. He also indicated that he wouldn't be there on the day we planned to come see the vehicle but stated that Rich Dini would be assisting us when we arrived. Rich called us and assured us that the vehicle would be ready when we arrived. The vehicle was clean and ready upon our arrival and they allowed us to look at and text drive the vehicle without any pressure. The vehicle was beter than expected and we made the decison to purchase the vehicle. Rich was very professional and personable in the closing process as was Jennifer in the finance department. I have gone car shopping at several different dealerships this week and my best experience by far was with Volvo of Lisle; they were not pushy, and did not make me feel taken advantage of for being there by myself. Since visiting they have not called or left me any harassing voicemails like other dealerships have, and although I will not be buying my car through them, I wish I was because they're great! Both Regis and the manager made me feel totally at ease, and even advised against running a credit report unless I was sure about the car, to prevent my credit score from dropping. Thanks you guys!

I'm sitting here in the "waiting area" for a new tire, from a flat earlier. Everyone is very nice. Service is good. All that said, this place looks like the dealership that time forgot. Very very dirty bathroom. Come on Mr. Korallus, spend some money on this place...you sell enough cars and charge enough for service. I'd been taking my '98 XC70 to Volvo of Lisle since I bought it. The one star is for the service that I did receive during this time. 2 weeks ago I had the car towed in with a fuel leak, but 3 days later they told me it was irreparable. Today, I realized their interest level in the customer drops from 100% to 0% the minute they realize there is no more money to be made. After paying around $8,000/= in repairs over 3 years, the Service Manager made me pay another $145/= to practically tell me to take my piece of crap off their parking lot. This is the Volvo that Volvo of Lisle had maintained since the day I bought it. On top of that they charged me for an unsolicited "rental", which I had returned the day they told me about my car. And all this after lying to me for 10 days about a 2008 Volvo the Service Manager said he had, that he could sell to me. The Sales Department denied having such a car. Despicable ethics, despicable management, never again.

I was in the market for a new car. Went to couple of dealerships to test but felt like as a woman, i wan't taken seriously. Went to Volvo of Lisle and met with Lolita. Deplorable dealership with no concept of selling a car, but simply an imagination. Normally I could care less but this time I actually do care to write something about this dealership. I am in the market for a V90, and moment I walk in there is no concept of greeting a customer and introducing oneself. I did get a momentary Hi and upon asking about a V90, the sales rep simply shrugs there are none in the showroom. Odd, but sure let me continue and she proceeds to the counter area and asks a sleepy person back there if they can check into it, that person too was a bit out of it. I walk around and upon their inquiry, I get a simple “V90 is order only but I can describe the car for you”. Flabbergasted me back to the stone ages, if I wanted to imagine it I would just go take a big puff of a cigar and get lite headed and perhaps see a Volvo v90 but come on? Are you serious. I had to correct the sales rep and tell her this is not how you tell a customer who is educated about a V90 how big it is or how it looks like when I just want to simply test drive and buy a car, perhaps. What’s more daunting is the sales rep didn’t even ask for a follow up or any idea of building rapport. Needless to say, not even thinking of coming back here for future car purchase and/or anything for that matter. Recommendation is for the Sales Manager to train the staff well. I plan to report this to Volvo HQ as well.

I go considerably out of my way to come here rather than using several dealers closer to my house and more conveniently located. I get fair pricing, excellent advice, and good service. It is largely for this reason that if I buy another Volvo I plan to buy the car here.

Purchased a CPO Volvo there several weeks ago. After getting the car home, had service light come on the very next day. Also discovered some flaws in the driver's side mirror casing. Took the car in today and the problem with the anti-skid light was fixed. Sales manager had agreed to fix the mirror problem at no charge, once the part came in. Service technicians were efficient, friendly, patient, and thorough. The sales person, Lolita Cook, I bought the car through was very friendly and patient with me. I would not hesitate to buy another car there again.

This is in response to that hideous reply to the review I posted under my default account Kandi Ladie (in which I'm a local guide) on my Android phone which I've had since 2008. I have no problem posting under my name and I can provide you all of my screen names if needed. I rarely post negative reviews about any establishment and I will now pursue legal action as well as consumer protection. The car was purchased in 2016 with the few dents and dings but that doesn't give you any justification to damage my car and not take responsibility. I have plenty of pics in addition to video footage of my car that shows the mirror on the passenger side was in tact. The car had been sitting immobilized for months due to needing a key and there was no way the mirror could become detached without heavy impact which happened at your dealership. I have a two pics attached, one in your parking lot when I came to retrieve the vehicle with AAA and the second one is taken not long before having my car towed by AAA. I've also showcased on my social media account in hopes that this ordeal now goes viral. I do have additional photos/videos in addition to AAA's guarantee. You had the opportunity to rectify this situation with dignity. Any business that is willing to stand ground on something like this shouldn't be in business

Am having issues with the maintenance department. Had my windows reset as they were stopping half way along with some other repairs not related to doors and windows. After that my driver side rear lost power (No power to the windows or locks because of which car wasn't arming as well). Went in to complain and they said its a different issue (wiring harness) and will need to be charged for. I disagreed as this problem wasn't there before. Anyhow, I hesitantly agreed to pay $400+ just for the sake of solving the problem. After this visit my driver side door lock/unlock master switch stopped working. Now thats a switch I use everyday. So I went back and this time again they denied that its their fault and that $400 needs to be paid to fix it. This happened even though I talked to the maintenance manager (Greg) and told him the issue and he asked me to come in. Did I also mention. I made another trip to the dealer besides the above ones. Initially when I went in to get the windows fixed, I had an oil change done for which they didn't put a sticker nor reset my oil life counter. I went back the next day thinking maybe they forgot to do the oil change. I have a busy schedule and cannot keep making trips to Volvo for an issue that they couldn't properly resolve the first time and I am not a millionaire to keep paying for their mistakes. They are also disregarding the value of the time I am taking out to make trips to the dealer to pick and drop my car. Today I walked out disappointed and am not pleased with my experience at Volvo of Lisle at all.

My experience with Volvo of Lisle was fantastic. Let me first tell you about me, just a little bit. I'm very protective of all my cars and I take very good care of them. I bought my 1st Volvo ever; 2012 S60. It was easy and very pleasant dealing with Lolita and Ken, the Sales Manager. I feel like a VIP every time I go there for service and they remember my name. One time I took my car in for service and when I picked it up, it had a small curb rash on the wheel. I pointed it out to Greg the Service Manager and he gave me a loaner right then and told me he was sorry that had happened. I picked up my car the next day and he not only had my wheel been repaired, they detailed my car. GREAT unexpected treatment. Well, 5 years have past and I'm buying my 2018 XC60 from them. I consider myself a very informed customer. I do a lot of research before I buy or have anything done to my cars. Without a doubt, Ken "Sales Manager" and Greg "Service Manager" ALWAYS gives me their best prices. I know when I leave I was treated with great integrity, honest prices and the feeling like I am family. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I purchased a part on Friday night about 6pm and forgot to put it as express shipping, I live in Florida and this place is one of the few places online that I found had what I needed at a reasonable price compared to everyone else I found. I called them because I was really frustrated at not having put on there Express shipping and these guys went out of their way to get to the Post office at that time at night, and shipped the item so that I would have it by Monday. Chris Gough took care of me through the whole process; from the initial call to teaching me about the XC40’s various tech features. He is genuinely concerned for the customer and understands that business is about relationships. He stayed late to meet with me and worked past closing to make sure that I drove home educated and comfortable in my new truck. Don't let the facade of the building turn you away. I am not sure which is better... The quality of the vehicles inside or the care you are given throughout the entire buying process. I recently purchased a Volvo XC60 (which I LOVE btw) on special order that took over a month for delivery. From the moment I walked into the door for my first visit to the day i drove my new car off the lot the experience was exceptional. Regis, in sales, was patient, inviting and totally cool throughout the entire process. Even when we brought our newborn into the showroom to see if our carseat fit. We did 3 test drives together and I never fealt rushed once. And when we began talk price Regis came forward with a discount beyond my hopes before I even opened my mouth. When I buy a Volvo again I am going to Volvo of Lisle and working with Regis.

Unprofessional service with focus on making money at the expense of customer support and satisfaction. I had them do a repair to fix the ignition lock cylinder. The cost ~ 800$. Fine! When I picked up the car, I noticed the steering wheel is out of alignments ... that is you are driving in straight line but should hold the steering wheel at 25 degrees angle! Plus there are signs of unprofessional repair on steering wheel noted by markings and permanent indentation on the steering wheel. I had to call them several times to take in the car to look at again. They finally fixed the alignment but stated that the indentation to the steering wheel was a pre-existing condition! ... just like an insurance company trying to reject your claim! whereas the steering had no problem when I dropped it off! So, if you HAVE to go to this dealer, make sure you take pictures of everything and document it with date and time ... Mr. John Korralus at the dealership under the premium name of Volvo needs to focus on customer service and satisfaction. He wasted my time several hours trying to dodge the issue of unprofessional job they did. Also unlike other dealers who have a courtesy car for cusomers (esp. when spending 800$ you would expect this), he tries to HELP you with a rental car for 40-50$/day from the dealership.

I always come away from a service visit to Volvo of Lisle with the sense that my trust in Volvo and in its representatives has been justified! Service representatives are prompt. I am treated respectfully, as if my time were valuable, but I am never rushed: everything is explained thoroughly, patiently, and when things occasionally do not go as planned - and this will happen in the real world - the state of things is set worth with honesty and openness, and - without any prompting - steps are taken to graciously accommodate any inconveniences. It is all about trust. And service; not being self-serving, or self-concealing, but entering into an honest and open partnership, based on serving the needs of the customer. Volvo of Lisle delivers! I took my Volvo in with a fuel problem. I was traveling cross country with my children and dog. I talked to the gentlemen in the morning who were courteous and understanding of my situation. However, I was then put on the phone with carol. Things took a drastic turn. She was short with me when I asked what I could expect regarding the time it would take to get things done. I had to follow up with her each time, except for the last. (I suspect, because she didn't want to deal with me any longer). She was rude, disrespectful and uncaring of my situation. She wouldn't answer my questions regarding what the timeline was. All I needed to know is how to plan my day as I was essentially homeless with my crew. Ultimately, when I paid her at the end of the day, the rudeness continued. I can't say I wasn't surprised. Worst customer service ever!

This place has a very good inventory of new vehicles, parts and a brand new showroom with a service drive up area. They have a state of the art machine that checks your vehicle's alignment as you drive into the dealership's write up area. The management and staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing that I think is a little awkward, is the way they are operating out of two buildings, service and parts together, sales and the write up area in another building right next door. I know it's supposed to be temporary, so we'll just have to wait and see the future brings.

The only reason I checked one star is because you can not post without marking at least one. I went to purchase a car from them a year ago. It was to be a company car as my Volvos have been in the past. I selected one and they talked me into giving them $1000 to hold it while they set up the paper work. They said if there was any problem at all with the company car selection they would refund the $1000 without question. They said Volvo did not have a purchase plan like I wanted and kept the $1,000. For a year now .. they will not even return a phone call. Be very careful with your business dealings with this company. The business manager is the one that made the commitment of refund to me but now is unreachable. Do NOT take there word for anything, it is worthless. Love my XC 60 I purchased from the Autobarn of Oak Park. Honest, good business people. Oak Park would be a dealer I would highly recommend to anyone. Doug

The sales guys (Rick Winkler, John Taylor, Ken Kowal) here are very friendly, honest, and upfront..which is saying a lot about used car dealerships. Their selection of cars is great, and the cars are inspected and brought upto date on maintenance, and they stand behind them with a 3 month/3,000 mile powertrain warranty. When buying a used car, at least for me, peace of mind wins over price anyday. While only time will tell about my purchase, I feel confident everyday driving my used 2006 Acura TSX that I bought from Volvo of Lisle.

I went there on Saturday to test drive a used volvo xc-60, the car was great but the dealership does not have any standards on negotiation or taking customers purchase price in consideration. It wasn't like I was asking them to cut the price in half, my offer was very much with in a reasonable amount. They were offering me pennies for my 2011 BMW AWD, they did not even seem to care if I was interested in their car or not. All this while they were running numbers, I was standing by the reception, no one even bothered to ask me to sit. Anyhow, I regret for choosing them over Patrick Volvo. I'm huge fan of VOLVOs owned almost all of them but this definitely was not a good buying experience. The only reason why I'm giving them 1 star is because the sales man(Very nice guy) actually cared to pull up two cars for me in the cold weather.

Dropped my car in this morning for a repair because of some electrical issues making the windows, doors and a few other things not working. They found some electrical wiring damaging and told me that warranty would not cover it. I checked on the extended warranty policy and did not see anywhere this is excluded. I sent screen shots of the policy to the service advisor and asked her to share with me documents that show this is not covered and a picture of the damaged part. It has been a couple of hours and I have not heard back on the status of my car repair after several phone calls, voice messages, and texts. I’m posting my experience out of frustration and hope that I can get more attention and at least an update on my car repair. I’ll update if I get a satisfactory response. 09/27 update: Picked up my car today after getting a similar response from the claims department that the repair was not covered without further explanation. Worked out a resolution with the service department. Therefore I revised my rating to 4 stars, with the only frustration on the poor communication side and unresponsiveness from the service advisor on all my inquiries, which made me feel poorly treated. However, at the end of the day, my car was fixed and they helped clean it well. I would recommend the shop if they can improve their communication and treat customers better.

I went to the Volvo of Lisle Service Center today to replace a tail light on my 2011 Volvo C30 R-Design. I asked if the bulb could be replaced without bringing my car into the mechanics and was told by a Service Manager, Scott Arrandale, that it wouldn't be an issue for my car. He seemed nice at first. I relied on Scott to visually evaluate my tail lights as I pressed my brake to identify the proper bulb that needed to be replaced. I ending up purchasing 4 bulbs overall to be replaced. After replacing multiple bulbs on two separate occasions, the Check Stop Lamp message still wouldn't turn off. I wasn't upset that Scott had twice made an error in his assessment--the bulbs were cheap--but after the second attept he told me it was the upper left tail light, that he “wasn't working for free anymore” and my “tail light had to be removed” by the mechanics. I politely questioned the factuality of his statement, because there's an access panel that pops right out in the interior of my car behind the bulb. He wouldn't reply back to me at all and continued to sit at his desk ignoring me. The Parts Department came out and was able identify the proper light bulb right away. They were very helpful unlike Scott. I removed the access panel and replaced the bulb with ease. Scott was trying to charge me an extra $157.00 for the mechanics to work on my car. After I expressed my dissatisfaction that he lied to me to make money, he chased after me out of the building repeatedly yelling “hey” and told me to “never come back”. This is Volvo of Lisle. Don't purchase your car here. Update: I've since had an “SRS AIRBAG SERVICE URGENT" message appear on my dash. This has happened in the past when my passenger airbag sensor underneath the seat got caught on my WeatherTech floor mats, and Volvo of Lisle used to just clear the message, because there's nothing wrong with the sensor. I took the car to Volvo of Lisle, and the Service Manager, Greg, refused to clear the message without performing a diagnostics test which I didn't need. He demanded I pay $157.00 when I know all they'll end up doing is clearing the message with no further recommend repairs. I came to Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg and the cleared the message for $82.50. Volvo of Lisle is just awful.

There is no lower rating. I picked up my car today from service and was shocked. The trunk was untouched by maintenance, however they had the time to check the glove compartment and take the $42 that was there. The money that is always prepared to fill up the tank (2018 Volvo XC90). After every service there is something wrong (after oil change service the greasy hand prints all over the cream leather, after they checked battery with excellent condition resoluted in the car not starting, they never vaccum even if I asked them to). Last service, when they brought back the car, even the salesman called them to show how bad the service was. A different time, when they updated the car software, they gave me the car back with both the dashboard and screen completely black. Of course I needed to go back to the dealership for them to fix it. The sales team and service desk are very helpful people, but maintenance in my opinion is below zero.

Customer service (Princess, internet personnel) was outstanding. When Princess contacted me she was not pushy or overbearing. She listened to what I was looking for and emailed me information about the various cars they had in their inventory. Once I made an appointment to come in to see a sales manager all communication ceased with Princess and shifted to the sales person Rick. I thought that dynamic was interesting. The staff was friendly, polite and professional. The two times I visited Lisle of Volvo, the personnel staff greeted me with a friendly genuine smile. As a female, I didn't feel like the salesmen were condescending or pressured me into buying a car. I was in control of the buying situation the entire time. My experience with Lisle of Volvo was not stressful at all ( I was more excited than stressful). The stressful part was prior to stepping into the dealerships reading about various cars on the internet and narrowing down my choice to the Volvo S60. The paperwork was explained quickly and could have been explained a bit more thoroughly but I was able to follow along. However, Rick did a thorough job at going over the features of my car. At the last hour I changed the level of car I wanted because I did not want to over exert my budget. Rick showed no frustration about this. He expressed his understanding which I thought was commendable. The price was well within my budget. Overall, I love my car! I was pleased with the professional service I received. Beware, do not rely upon advertised prices at this dealership, do not shop this dealership online! Used Forester listed for $23,000. Dealership sent me details of the vehicle through email multiple times, including the price of $23,000. There were multiple opportunities for the dealership to identify they didn't intend to sell at this price. After about a half dozen emails sent to me, the salesperson indicated the price was really $28,500 and they would not honor the original price. The salesperson also pointed me to the small print disclaimer on their website indicating prices on the website might not be accurate. I understand that mistakes can be made. I do expect that a dealership with integrity would honor an advertised price that is within reason. It certainly does not appear they are living by the claims on their website of "an unwavering commitment to excellent customer service." I was also quite insulted when the salesperson indicated in an email that I somehow knew the price was wrong or I otherwise would not have been inquiring about the vehicle from out of state. This clearly indicates a lack of understanding about car buying in the modern world where internet shopping out of state is common. It is also unprofessional and rude to blame a potential customer for the incompetency of the dealership. I have since looked back at other reviews and saw mention of concerns with honesty in the service department and rude customer service. Other reviews also pointed to sloppy paperwork, which seems consistent with not paying attention to details that are pretty important such as prices listed on the internet. I strongly recommend looking at another dealership, but at a minimum, be very cautious about advertised prices and triple check with the dealership on the price before wasting any time engaging in discussions about purchasing a vehicle.

This is now my second time around with this staff. First time was for a 2012 used S60 and the staff was awesome. With this time around I got a new 2018 XC60 and Lolita walk me around the vechike to ensure I knew all the starter features and where they are located as well. Lolita then sat me inside the vechile and walked me through all features and settings in the new Senus center control screen. I did tell her I had an issue with connecting the vehicles internet through my phone and didn’t stop until we figured out a suitable solution. I would highly recommend them to friends and family! Several other members of my family also bought cars from them and they had just as great experiences! Also if you need service done it’s as simple as schedule online, drop off and stay in those amazing waiting room or take a loaner until yours is done.

Tommy worked with us a bit on the price of the vehicle and saw to it we agreed on a deal. There was truly no pressure to buy, and this was a great experience for buying a vehicle. Jen in the finance office was thorough with the paperwork, yet quick. I would recommend Volvo of Lisle to anyone interested in purchasing one of their vehicles. By the way, I LOVE my 2019 XC90.

Service department is God Awful. Take a day off of work and sit. That should be their slogan. It took me 5 days to get an appointment for a tire replacement - had an appointment to replace one tire from a blow out. It took 2.5 hours to change. Pathetic - I hate this place

We needed some major repairs to our Volvo XC90. One part was no longer under warranty, but there were extenuating circumstances that I thought should be taken under consideration. I asked the guys in service if there was anything they could do to help me out. Dave called Volvo North America, and after talking with them, he called me back and said he understood my point and agreed to pick up the tab for this repair. That was an amazing act of compassionate customer service. The service department at Volvo of Lisle is a class act!

On Tuesday, January 28, 2014, I had absolutely the worst experience ever at the Volvo Service Department!!! I had a 12pm appointment with their service station for a quick look at my tire locks. Something that usually will take no longer then five minutes to do! (Just like when I went to my dealership where I bought it) JOHN in the service station takes my information and confirms with me what needs to be done. After giving a hour and a half buffer I finally went out there and talked to John. He told me that there were plenty of cars before me and that's why it is taking so long. They never even looked at my car! If they couldn't handle making an appointment at 12pm with me then why did they take it!! After I tell JOHN that I need to get this checked out ASAP because I have to work he finally goes out there to their garage and tells me it will be another 15 minutes. After 20 minutes he comes out to the waiting area and goes "HEY YOU!" I go out there with him to the garage and he tells me they don't have the keys that will take care of the wheel lock. When I spoke to TIM the week before when I made the appointment told me that they would then look into finding a key for me since the lock is made by Volvo since it is a Volvo lock. JOHN tells me that he can't and pretty much rushes me out the door. He then has the nerve to tell me that he won't charge me for wasting two hours of my day and doing nothing!! Also, the woman working the cashier (I didn't have to deal with) had an attitude with everyone that walked in.I couldn't believe the way she talked to customers and coworkers. She made a big deal about taking cash from a poor customer who just had to pay over $1700 on service and was complaining to anyone that would hear her that she was doing two jobs! Also, it seemed like everyone there was to busy eating pizza! I luckily didn't didn't buy my car there and will never go back there again!!! Seriously I bought a Volvo for the service and now I am debating why I bought it!! THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!

We are new to the dealership but were aware of their excellent reputation. However, they surpassed our highest expectations of the customer experience. All we met and dealt with were very professional and capable of answering our most detailed questions. Excellent is such an overused descriptor and difficult to determine the relative meaning. I have purchased a 2017 Volvo XC60 Dynamic T6, and my salesman's name was Dale. It was an exceptional experience, the day I came in, I was not even planning on buying a car, and had my mind set on a Toyota 4Runner. Dale was very knowledgeable, and sold me on the car itself, not no cheap sales tactics or 0% financings. He knew every espect, all the features of the vehicle, how to use them and how to set it all up, and how it compared to other vehicles as to what it had and did not have. Also, Dale treated me with respect, and not just some college kid who was looking to buy their first car, and this vehicle was a lot more expensive than the other brands I have looked at and I did not get the same treatment. Fast, easy, and pleasant encounter with staff from parts department. I made an order online for piston rings for a Volvo I was fixing myself and it took them only 2 days to get the parts ready for pickup. I couldn't be more happier for getting a good deal on oem piston rings. Definitely better deal then I found on Ebay. Coffe stand by the pickup station was definitely a plus, kinda made me feel welcomed.
