Service department is an absolute disgrace. Told me that they no longer offer loaner cars, which was a lie. I didn't buy my Volvo there so I understand if I don't get a loaner, but at least tell me the bloody truth. At the end of the day, the final bill was 50% more than the quote they gave me in the morning, for exactly the same services. Even jiffy lube has more transparency than they do. They just don't care about their returning customers.

Just bought an E-class from Sullivan-Parkhill. It's the third car I've bought from them and my experience has always been very good. Lisa Jerutka was my salesperson this time and she was fantastic. She seemed pretty good at figuring what I wanted to know, what I didn't want to spend time on, and the small amount of stuff I had to spend time on. She's really upbeat and made the experience of buying a car, which I generally don't much like, very tolerable.

As other reviewers have stated - if you purchased your Volvo elsewhere, forget about getting service or being treated honorably here. I tried to purchase a vehicle here, told the salesman what I wanted and he never followed up with me. When I called him back, he said "oh, yeah, I didn't find anything." Unprofessional. Even his business cards have a typo - his response was indicative of the level of detail and care this place puts forth - he says "You're the first to notice. No one cares." Sloppy. I purchased a brand new XC90 from Chicago since I couldn't get them to help me. The first time the check engine light comes on (within a few months and from a known fuel issue), someone brings me a loaner and drives my car back for service. They did this once on the XC90 and at least 2-3 times on our other Volvo (also not purchased from here because, again, they couldn't be bothered to find the one I wanted). The engine light comes on again and I do what they told me to - call so they can order the part and they say they'll call when it's in. Months go by and nothing. I call yesterday and they have no record of ordering the part. Then tell me that I can't get pick up service because I didn't buy the car there. No explanation for the sudden change, in fact the service person tries to tell me it has been that way since 2015. Patently untrue. Also no alternative offered that is reasonable. This place has terrible customer service and does not follow the Volvo guidelines on vehicle service. Stay away.

Since we wanted to be sure it was in "tip-top" shape, I took it their service department and have been more than pleased with the constant communication from K.T. My little beauty needs a few things, and we are in "phase 1" of little fixes that it will require. K.T. has kept me updated with pleasant phone calls, and has been completely understanding of our need to do the repairs in phases so that the car will be in that "tip-top" shape. He has made suggestions on the phases to be sure that safety is at the top of the list, and was completely agreeable to doing the rest in a month. I enjoy K.T.'s friendly and funny personality, yet he is completely professional. Thank you, K.T., for making this process a little less painful ($) for me!

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2013 S550 on line through the dealership in June. My original vehicle had been totaled in an accident and this was the closest I could find to my original car. I have never purchased a car on line before and I would never do so again. I paid over $500 to have the car shipped to my home in Kentucky. As I drove away from my home and applied the brakes for the very first time, I could hear and feel vibration and metal on metal. I went straight to my local Mercedes dealership and we called Sullivan-Parkhill. We were told due to rainy weather conditions, there was corrosion on the front brakes but this would improve over the next few weeks. I drove the car for over a month and there was no improvement. I took the car back to my local dealership and had to replace the front brakes, pads and rotors. There was also a problem with the soft close feature on the driver side back door. This was not covered under warranty so I had to pay for the repair. My total bill for both of these repairs was $1250. I called Mercedes Customer Service for guidance and advice and they reached out to the dealership on my behalf. Based on the checklist required for a vehicle to be sold as Certified Pre-Owned, I was advised that these two problems should have been handled PRIOR to the sale to me. I never heard from the dealership so I called them the next week. I was asked to fax a copy of my repair receipt and they would review it and call me back. I never heard from them so I called again. I was told there was nothing they could do about it and no reimbursement would be made to me even though the car was sold to me as CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED and not "AS IS." I also discovered I was the THIRD owner of the car. Every time I drove the car I thought about the repair bill I was forced to pay, the lack of integrity on the part of the dealership in selling the car as Certified Pre-Owned and their decision to make NO effort to reimburse me for all or part of the repair bill. In an effort to put this bad experience in the past, last month I drove to Cincinnati and traded the car for a beautiful Certified Pre-Owned 2015 S550. I had a wonderful experience with the new dealership and I now have a car that meets my expectations and Mercedes requirements of a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED car! Mary Reed

I have had the worst experience ever at this establishment, for one the service advisor KT and the general manager were very nasty, stating I was very unprofessional when I was clearly wanting answers about my 2013 Mercedes 350 that has been in your service department twice and nothing was done for at least a week. And this General Manager who is suppose to be the face of the service department, states they don't have to do the work at all ! No curse words came out of my mouth ever at any time, I just wanted answers! And he continues to argue with me back and fourth trying to justify that they just didn't do their job and I get it things slip through cracks but these gentleman were just a poor excuse of customer service for this type of business. I want everyone to know to second guess this establishment, Very UNPROFESSIONAL group of people here I am sadden of this department and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I'm going to give them a 1 star which I don think they deserve, if your calls are recorded please playback all calls from 6-3-2016 and this will give you an example of how bad these guys really work!

The employees over at this dealership will not treat you nicely if you have not bough the car from them. They will only talk to you only if they made money from you. I had a very bad experience talking to them for my service. 1st question asked was if i bought the car from them, when i said no......his behavior was totally different I asked for the loaner car when when i bring my car for service and the guy said, we dont give loaner cars to customers who have not bought cars from us and hung up. That was so rude. Please dont ever go to this dealership. you can very easily find very good dealerships around whose employees are very polite.

One of those situations where you wish there were negative stars to display your dissatisfaction. Multiple individuals at the dealership knew that we would be making a six hour drive to check out a truck to replace a work truck that had recently been totaled in an accident. We got there and it was filthy inside and out, it didn't have some of the options provided in the description, and one of the mirrors was broken - a $1650 minimum cost to repair, plus the telescoping function did not work (which Dale tried to convince us they weren't supposed to, despite that handy little toggle switch on the drivers side door which controls that specific function). Depending on whether it was a wiring or mechanical issue, possibly another couple of thousands to fix. I was upset about the lies and when I asked Dale for his name, he told me it was "Roy". Apparently he's not familiar with their website that has their pictures with names listed. Manager John Dotson "apologized" for the drop of the ball, said he was just as upset about it as we were... genuine remorse changes one's tone and gestures, so he'll want to take some acting lessons before trying to attempt another straight faced apology. Just another city dealership trying to take advantage of a buyer caught between a rock and a hard place. They should be absolutely ashamed, it was an appalling experience.

Took my Volvo C70 for a diagnostic as it had a problem with the soft top due to an accident. During 3 weeks they told me that they were working on my car and that they were putting a lot of effort to fix it. However after numerous calls and excuses, they finally told me that they did not have the expertise or the personnel to fix it. Yet they were respectful, I do not appreciate that they wasted my time in this way and that I had to wait for so long for such a vague excuse.At the end they did not give a report of what did or what kind of work they did on my car.

If you are looking for the full experience of a luxury car, plus the service—forget the service. I just had new tires (balanced and wheel alignment) recently done and they put silver wheel weights on my AMG black wheels....no thought or common sense what so ever. When I called them about it, they gave me some BS excuse about MB only offers silver. Well, I called my original dealership out of state and they were kind enough to provide 3 options. One of which was going to Peoria. These guys are serious imposters.

Whatever you do not use their service! They will purposefully damage your car just to get you to spend more there! We took our car to an official dealer after it kept giving issues every time we would bring it to Sullivan's and they found that a hose from our AC was cleanly cut! These people are crooks! The vehicle was purchased from a certified dealer in Atlanta while still under factory warranty as a certified preowned vehicle. Sullivan actually "performed" a repair under waranty that was supposed to change part for our sunroof, to which they only glued it. The actual receipt from Terra Haute states AC hose cut off. And it was a clean cut visible to the anyone that it was not "chewed through." We tried to contact the manager multiple times to resolve the issue but clearly, they are more worried with covering up than actually taking responsibility.

Took it back in they said it had an fuel leak, which my car did not have before they worked on it, paid over 1000$, got my car back and the AC was not working (it was in perfectly working condition before Sullivan service worked on it.) I have paid around 6000$ worth of repairs on this car in the last month. This seemed shady so I took it to Terre-Haute Mercedes to have it looked at, where I was told that someone has purposely cut a hose in my AC system and there is no way it could have this damage, unless someone damaged it on purpose. Sullivan service was the service that had access to my car prior to that. These people have disgusting work ethics, they damaged my car just to make more money! It's scary to think that most likely they damaged the car's fuel system and my pregnant wife was driving a car that was leaking fuel! I tried to get a hold of the manager but he wouldn't return my calls. Avoid this place like the plague if you can!

Recently found the ONE Mercedes GL550 in the nation with the interior I wanted after speaking with Kirk Anderson for a couple days, assured the car would be in great shape. From the pick up service at my hotel to the fast and easy process to get through inspection and delivery, including Jake and Gerald, it was a FANTASTIC car buying experience. I needed a couple things after I drove it back for the CPO certification, and Kirk has updated me daily on the extras for the car. Gerald made the finance as easy as I have ever experienced, and the hospitality and sincerity of everyone there was refreshing. Worst customer experience I have ever had with a dealership. Took my car in there because it would not start even though I'd just put in a brand new battery. Right off the bat, even before any tests had been done, they told me it was because the battery I had put it was not the right one for my car. I was a bit skeptical, but took their word for it. It took over a week just for them to replace my battery, all the while telling me they did not have any loaner cars available. Finally, I get a phone call telling me my car was ready. I get there, go in the office to settle my bill, my keys are handed to me, I get in my car, turn the ignition, it does not start! What? After a full week, I am faced with the same problem. So I go back in to the shop to complain and I'm told I have to leave it there for a while longer. Folks, needless to say these guys played trial-and-error with my vehicle for another full week, all the while charging me for their labor and costs, eventually they disabled all the electrical controls on my front driver's door claiming it might have been the cause of my battery drain. That did nothing to solve my issue and they were very rude and showed no remorse at all. After taking it in to a more competent dealership my problem was finally fixed. Like an earlier reviewer said, if you want to be taken advantage of and be disrespected, take your vehicle to Sullivan-Parkhill, I know there is absolutely no way I will ever take any of my vehicles to these guys, if I have to go all the way to Bloomington or Indianapolis to get my Mercedes vehicles serviced I will do that rather than deal with these guys.

This is the worst place to ever take your car. Okay were do I start. They told my mom that her car needed a new computer which is $2000 +dollars. She said okay fix my car after they said the part was under warrenty. Well they lied they put the computer in it rained that weekend they said the rain shorted the part and the warenty wouldnt cover that. Car never moved off of their lot. Plus they should have inspected for any leaks before placing the part in the car. Nope they didn't do that. So we go look at the part no indication that the part was messed up. They still refuse to take ownership of the problem. Awe and side not be for all of that i tryed talking to them and Jake the sevice manager hung up in my face. I could not believe that a man in his position would handle himself in that manner. So they ended up calling my mom's insurance company to have them fix the car for a second time. Which is crazy cause the part has a warenty on it. Not only did they have the insurance company pay for the second part to be replaced they still charged my mom for the first part that was under warenty. The icing on the cake is when we got the car back and it only works for not even a day. She went to ask them and Jake told her to leave his business or he would call the police. Which is crazy you have the right to ask questions is someone just chared you over $4000+dollars and your car is not working. Moral of story they are horrible and cheat you out of money they need to be exposed. Please go some where else for purchasing and service needs.

I brought my Mercedes in for a basic check up and a brake job. I made a appointment and left the car on a Friday and explained I needed the car back by the following Tuesday. On Tuesday morning they called and said that they did not order the brake parts until Monday and would not get the car back until Wednesday. So I took the call back Tuesday and they messed up the billing and did not fix items that I was billed for--so that took calls to correct. By contrast my key failed on a trip in Chicago. The dealer (Westmont Mercedes) picked up the towing and a rental. When I return to Champaign I Fed Ex'ed the second key to them --it worked --so I drove back to Westmont in the rental the following day--total cost $173. If you can avoid Sullivan Parkhill I would strongly suggest it.
