Had the pleasure of working with Ashwin (Salesman) recently on a purchase. He is a no BS guy that got to the point right away. He was very knowledgeable about what he was selling and when it came down to the purchase price, the first price he gave me was rock solid and the price I paid few weeks later. The first price he gave me was far better than any of the "Best" prices I received from all the other dealerships I dealt with. Would certainly recommend Patrick Volvo and Ashwin if you are in the market for a Volvo.

Diagnosis did not take too long but service cost was not covered.I was told cars brake pads have worn out and have damaged rotors. I requested if it was covered under warranty because I have driven on 20k miles and that is too less for these damages. But Patrick Volvo did not agree. Moral of the story - Buy German or Japanese cars.

Drove down from Wisconsin to help my girlfriend buy her dream car. 2011 Volvo cx60 with 29,100 miles. She loves it even thou it has feathered, little noisy tires. They did an alignment during the used vehicle set up. But left the chewed up tires on. The vehicle was listed on the internet twice on their own website. Once for $32,588 and again for $34,813. We argued quite a bit over them honoring the $32,588 price. They agreed to meet in the middle @ $33,286. Now, I'm no lawyer but believe if you advertise an item for a certain price. You have to sell it for that price. The manager even admitted that they are doing it on other vehicles too. (some type of glitch in the system).Tola (the salesman) said he would send us some touch up paint for some scratches on the drivers door handle. When contacting him several times about it, he states he will send it. Then has the gall to send us a letter asking us to tell our friends about Patrick's - YEA RIGHT Wish we could say we were satisfied, but nobody likes to get bamboozled.

I had to have my SAAB towed in due to a battery switch issue. Due to a previous twice horrible experience with Patrick I was reluctant, but it was the closest to where I was (parking lot of my job :-) so I had it taken there. I told them about the bad experience I had with the previous SAAB representative, a man and that's why I have not been back in over four years. They knew exactly who I was talking about and told me I would have a much better experience with 'Rose', that gentleman was no longer there. Well they were correct! Rose called me the next day to explain what needed to be done, they gave me a loaner and I had my car back in two days. It was ready the next day, but I missed the call that I could pick it up so I came in on that Saturday. I will now take my car there for all service appointments. Glad they value customer experiences,even though I did not complain about the guy, I am sure his performance with customers was noticed at some point.

This is my third time buying from Patrick Volvo of Schaumburg. And the second car I've bought from Tola. I received friendly, professional and quick service from Tola - that helps make the buying experience a little less stressful. Plus, I feel like I received the best bang for my buck. I must admit, I love my Volvos, but the reason I keep coming back is because of their great service department. I usually deal with Peter who is excellent! But all of the people who work in the service department are courteous, keep me posted on what needs to be serviced on my car, and seem to be honest about what and when my car needs servicing. For once I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage from a service department.

I've been shopping for a car for months. I met Tola the sales associate at Patrick Volvo early on in my search and recently we back to purchase my volvo S90. From the 1st day we interacted with Tola he made us feel at ease and welcomed. When we went back months later he remembered my daughters names! At this point he's memorized my entire family's names. Car dealers are car dealers.... Like all of us, we are out to make a living... I have been satisfied with Patrick Volvo after changing from Fields Volvo, who by their example, taught me the term "Spawn of Satin"~ Between the two, Patrick gets 5*, while sadly, I must rate Fields Volvo -99 [in my opinion, the least ethical car dealer on the planet]. One of the few negatives about Patrick that comes to mind... Their coffee sucks...

It was a great experience... Ashwin was a great person to work with, very upfront and honest. I was very picky about the packages I wanted and Ashwin was very patient in finding the right inscription xc90. Justin who was the manager was also a great person to work with. No gimmicks and straight up honest answers. The other thing I liked about Ashwin him in particular was that he was that he left us alone for the test drive and gave us ample time to discuss about the car within ourselves. He also went over the features in great detail and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. So happy with my 2018 xc 90.

I would give half a star if I could. Unprofessional behavior and lack of help/communication within this dealership. I came into Patrick Volvo in order to learn more and test drive a car that was pre owned. The car was dirty. Bird feces on the windows and Patrick Volvo couldn't even clean it once before putting it in the lot. How would you expect to sell this thing. In terms of customer service, I walked into the building and only one person was there handling multiple clients at a time. Took me about 45 minutes of waiting in order to test drive the vehicle that I was interested in. Also, there was a promotion of $50 gift card for a test drive going on at the time. I was having trouble and was told by one of the sales ladies (Dorothy Victorson) that a staff member would be able to help me get that figured out. Driving out an hour to see this car and get a gift card was a complete waste. Good luck getting my business. Everyone sounded friendly over the phone, but I was treated terribly when I arrived. Is it because I'm a young individual and you don't take my business seriously? I've yet to get an answer. However, when I went to Fields Volvo, my experience was completely different. Friendly people at the door, my questions were answered, and my test drive was done right away. I'll be sure to avoid this dealership anytime in the near future.

I have had two interactions with the service department and have found them to be unprofessional, uninformed, and not focused to the needs of the customer. The original review start from Sold a brand New Car with Check Engine Lights on. When will Google allow us to give half-star review? Or a review that is verified and it shrink the Good score by 90%...so like my review would have given this dealership a half star that would have decreased their over all score by 80% so right now they should be holding around 1.5 star...still got 5 stars but that 5 is at the end...Now this is not the I'm giving them yet, but if they don't fixed my brand new car, one mile driven and twice checked engine lights on, and being at the dealership for over 99.5% of the time...oh and some other electric problem so if you driving and you heard a big bang bomb noise, it's normal...the whole computers rebooted, so now your speakers are blowing out loud....of course if you like me want to hear the music real nice and loud. I got the car back, after driving it for two hours, all the computers, include my Bluetooth and speakers rebooted on me twice.... and upon returning to the car, I got another checked engine lights on, Hybrid System Failed. This going on YOUTUBE don't buy the VOLVO XC60 T8 it has so many issues...I'm going to buzz this up on youtube, and will try to connect to the Volvo reviews that I got these problems with my car. Sold a brand New Car with Check Engine Lights i bought the car from this dealership, which screwed me. After driving my XC60 T8 for about 2 miles, I got the checked engine lights on...I called the dealership but it was closed, since I was done with the paperwork at the last minute, it was Saturday. Now on Monday, I was given a 2017 c90 to drive back home because they had to check the car....I bought this car from TOLA, the African guy who is smooth talker but I am sure he knew about this problem. Now, today it's Wednesday and I still don't know what is going on with my car......beside they over charged me on finance too because according to the Volvo website the car has the following offer while I'm being charge over 3.5% with a 740 credit score, and I put $20k down.....this is the info on the Volvo local offer directly from the website. : 2018 Volvo XC60 2.49% APR Financing available up to 60 months and up to $1,000 in Allowances* 60 months at $18 per month per $1,000 financed *Purchase and Finance: $1,000 includes application of $1,000 Loyalty Bonus I never got the $1000 Loyality Bonus or anything like that I paid for the car $64900. Tola gave me two black keys, he told me it only came with one, and the red key, which was already included in the price. The 2nd key he said he just programed it, but it already had the tag on it, and he was trying to charge me $500 but later he said he gave me free.. TOLA IS A BIG LIAR. In summary, Mr Tola sold me a bad car, and at the same time, I was over charged on finance. Please be very careful with this dealership esp TOLA....when I called him on Monday, he told me so stop giving him headache and the car is in good hand....as if he was giving me a favor. WATCH OUT and never trust what they tell you....be very careful. PS the dealership is under construction so they are operating from the trailer.

Our salesman, Babatola Akinola aka "Tola" was great. A few years back we were looking to get out of our XC90 and the wife was desperate to stay in an SUV but she relented and we went minivan. Tola entertained our fancies with the brand new XC90 at that time but even said Patrick would buy our XC90 at a good price from us or we should tell the dealer we traded in to call them and they'd buy it. His service then even though we just flirted at that time was still above board and great. Flash forward roughly three years and we needed a new car for daddy and we went CPO 2016 S60 inscription for those extra 3". With a family whose legs are getting longer by the day we needed it. I did my research on pricing the CPO's and most dealers were in the same range with little room to move. It was a quick turn around but Tola was great with my wife and I, and the three little monsters aka our kids :-) I tried to work the number down but they did not move. So we did have another option to stick with a loaner from my mother in law. We did take a hike but had a change of heart and then Tola was able to work with the finance group to get some financing that we didn't think applied. We're not your typical Volvo buyers on the finance side so it helped us out and on a lark I just inquired and Tola did his magic and got with his finance manager and worked it for us to get us in the car of choice they had on the lot. We also went with extended warranty which they price matched to a less expensive quote online I found. Going a little further than they had to. Some say the extended warranties are for suckers, then call me Tootsie Pop. All in all Tola, very courteous, professional and I'm very certain will not forget us for years to come. I will say his name is heard at the dealership as one that closes many deals so if he has that many clients and remembers them all for the most part then this guy knows what he's doing and is a great guy to boot! Our sale was early April 2019. I'm just slow to get to this review as I've been driving the S60 a lot!

Had a terrific buying experience at Patrick Volvo. I was looking for a very particular model (XC40 T5 Momentum, Amazon Blue) and Patrick was the only dealership for 500 miles that had the color and options combo that I wanted. Called the dealership to inquire about the car, Mike Z. and Justin were quick to answer my questions, didn't play any "car buying games", and offered me a price literally thousands less than my local dealer was even willing to consider. I had to take my Volvo in due to a disgusting smell coming from under the hood. It was quickly determined to be a hose that needed to be replaced. They did not have the hose on site and indicated they would contact me as soon as it came in. They did a nice job of contacting me as promised. I scheduled an appointment and they did the replacement in less than one hour. Service was very good overall and Bart (who I worked with initially) and Ernesto (on the installation day) were very good at informing me. The only concern I have right now is if the source of the problem has been corrected. I have had the car for two days since the repair and am still smelling (but to a much lesser degree) the odor that was there at the beginning. I will reach out for Volvo if this continues.

I am very impressed with Patrick Volvo. I just purchased a new XC40 last week, and both the vehicle and the dealership performed well above expectations. I did my research on the web ahead of time and found the XC40 to be one of the best new compact SUV's on the road. My actual experience has proven that to be true, and the dealership made the whole process very comfortable and smooth. The place is in great shape and looks very upscale. My sales rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job explaining the features of my new vehicle. My last several vehicles were Fords, and I believe they make a quality product and offer good service--but Volvo is on another level, and I plan to keep my new XC40 for many years to come.

I bought a v50 from them a year ago and it's been a total lemon. With a month of owning it, the engine blew, and calls to the dealer were just met with shrugs and "oh wells". If you are doing business with them, get everything written down and get your car double checked at another dealership.

I could not say enough positive things about Patrick Volvo and the staff. I came all the way to this location from Milwaukee because of the great customer service and recommendation from my family member, and I'm glad I did. We came to meet with Tola, and from the second we walked in the doors, we were treated like family from all of the staff- especially Tola and Justin. They were not pushy, were able to quickly get me into a test drive of the car that I wanted, and I ended up coming back a couple days later to complete my purchase. They knew that I had to work back in Milwaukee on the day that I picked up the car and completed all of the paperwork, and they made sure to have everything ready to go for me so I was not stressing about getting back to go to work on time, and I was in and out in about an hour. From the calls to check in and make sure that everything was going well and how I was treated at the dealer throughout my time there I would strongly recommend this location and Tola to my family and friends. I will definitely be making the drive back for any services as well as future cars!!

Update 5/15 - Got the XC90 back and they did a better job this time than last time, so increased the rating to 4. Could have been a better experience of all of this could have been avoided in the first place. Update 5/10 - Service Manager has reached out to me and has promised to fix all the issues and now the SUV is at the dealer getting things done. Mix ups do happen but how they are handled is what all matters. Will update the review based on how things will be managed this time. Original review - Bought my first Volvo here after reading some good reviews. My overall experience has been very bad even though I tried to work things out and gave them chances to rectify the situations but no one is ready to work with me or care for me as a customer. Made me wait more than 30 mins to talk to sales manager who never showed up and never replied to my email about me waiting for him during purchasing. When I bought the car I was promised (even in written) that some body scratches will be fixed at a later time. When I took the car back for fixing scratches, I also told them about couple of other things along with a new recall for which they said they have parts in stock and will be done during that visit as I live 40 miles away, they kept it for two days, called me back saying everything is finished and after I traveled 40 miles and drove there, no body scratches have been fixed and I received a sorry that they can't fix the body scratches as it cost them money to do it and sales team will not pay for it and just gave me another small part as apology which was part of the car and actually missing from the car when sold. Service team said that everything I asked for except scratches is completed and I came back home. After a week, to my shocking they called me and said my part has arrived and asked me to come back to get it fixed and when I asked what part, they said it's for the recall which I was told that it was in stock during my last visit and has been done. I told the lady to check again and give me a call what happened and she never called me back. Later I called to talk to their service manager and was told that he stepped out of the office and I explained everything to the person who answered my call and told her to pass the message to service manager and I need to talk to him for which she said she will make him to call me and resolve the issue. It's been more than 5 days since this happened and no one cared to call me back and explain what is happening. The sales manager also never replied to my email about my experience in buying the car with them. As a customer I don't understand why I should be calling you multiple times and trying to work with you to resolve issues but your team just ignore me as if I don't matter? I rarely leave negative reviews but with a large purchase like this and possible long term relationship I thought of building with my first volvo, this is not the experience I expected.

I am not sure where to begin, they basically sold a car out from under me after I secured financing and made arrangements to have the car transported....Very poor communication skills and they are on a two day delay on returning phone calls.....Mike Ruiz calls me back two days later after leaving him a voicemail only to tell me that someone is driving down at that very moment to buy the car that thay were to sell to me !!!!!!...What a joke !!!!!.....I will be reporting and filing a complaint with VOLVO......Thanks for nothing Patrick Volvo !!!!!!

If it would be possible I would rate this negative, short staffed, only one sales person , English with very heavy accents I couldn't understand 75% . We were asked to come back 3 times on 3 different occasions 2 out of 3 times they re scheduled for us to come other time due to being short staffed. Next day we were ready to come and got another reason why we shouldn't come because sales person forgot he has doctors appointment. No problem, manager who agreed to help us since we came 2 times bought a brand new car with dents AND FOGGING LIGHT S asked us to come on Saturday so we can get a different car , also advising to come early ......guess what that morning we got a call back saying please dont come manager will be in a meeting and noone else will be able to help you.....I really hope this feedback makes a difference vs all the feedbacks that are written by their own staff

My husband and I just purchased a pre-owned xc60 from Patrick Volvo of Oak Park. We had a very positive experience overall. Our Sales Consultant Jesse Dishner was friendly and easy to talk to. We really felt like he cared about what we were looking for and that he wanted to sell us a car. In addition, the manager Richard Kirkpatrick could not have been nicer and spent a lot of time talking with us. We were originally talking to another sales rep who was not all that interested in helping us and came off as arrogant about the pricing. So be sure ask for Jesse when you get there!

I've been a customer at Patrick Volvo for a long time, I always have excellent service. Jim, Ernie and Nick always are professional, informative, and keep my XC90 running in top shape. It pays to go to the pros, I plan on keeping my Volvo for a long time, proper service, and they will run forever!

The dealer is very prompt on finding an available time for service. They are very good working with you to get a complementary service loaner. All the service loaners are extremely clean and all newer vehicles. The service writers are very knowledgeable and very polite. They give you all the information that you will need, and are very prompt in informing you when your car is ready, or informing you that you vehicle will need more time than originally quoted. A great service experience, and I will not bring my Volvo anywhere else.

This is an amazing dealership. The Sales Manager Justin is awesome. I hadn't been there to get an oil change in over a year. I had only been there one other time. I always receive fast quality service from Patrick Volvo. On this occasion, I asked if they would check out the cup holder in my backseat, since my kids stuck something in it and caused it to jam. They fixed it, no charge. They did a nice job giving my car a much-needed car wash, and they called ahead with a tire rotation recommendation to see if I wanted them to do it. I have a special service that allows me to get a loaner car from them, and it was a really nice Cadillac! I always get treated with respect, kindness, and top-notch service.

I know this is the same review I posed on Yelp and I don't care. All the facts are still true. I purchased my first Volvo today and it was a great experience. I got a S60, just had it a few hours, but I love it. The people at Patrick Volvo were excellent. It's a small dealership, but I think it works because they are able to give the personal service that is needed. I've been to a lot of dealerships and I can say this is a No Pressure dealer. They let me take a test drive by myself. They let me time my time with the car. And when it came to finances, they wanted to know what I could afford and fit me to the vehicle in my budget. There was no back in forth with the finance guy, no this is the best deal we can give you, or waiting for our while they stall for lack of a better term. Let's talk about my salesman Tola Akinola. One of the BEST salesman I have worked with in any company. Friendly, knowledgeable, and effective. He always had a smile on his face. When we connected via phone he was kind and professional. He knew I was working and emailed me as to not interrupt me. And then called when appropriate. When i asked him about the cars he knew all the ins and outs. I went home and did some research and all his information was correct. He is an excellent employee and very good person. I'm glad that I was referred to him and would defer anyone to work with him.

This is a review of the personal/customer service really because I've never bought or serviced a car here. I suddenly had an issue with a flat tire and I limped into the service center and explained my need, and without question they pulled my Volvo into the center checked and inflated all of the tires. They did take the time to ask if I wanted them to take a longer look, but when I told them that I was confident that it was my "user error" they nodded and had me back in the road in less than 7 minutes. Not once did they hassle me for having a Volvo from another dealership. Thank you guys so much for coming through so quickly in my frantic moment.

Just to let you know I am not a guy who writes a lot of reviews but this was special. I can't stress enough but Patrick Volvo is the best car dealer in this part of the world. I leased Volvo XC90 and the quality of car aside I am just on seventh heaven with the kind of customer service provided. It will be hard to believe but I leased my car on phone...Yes Sir on phone. I just went there in the evening to drive it home and sign few docs. Now who should you look for when you visit Patrick Volvo TOLA...He is the man behind providing me awesome-tacular customer service. He is so friendly..I mean he is like my brother. As for XC90 let me tell you I had a BMW and I traded it in. So be prepared to get blown away when you test drive an XC90.

Totally thrilled with my new S60. Thought I would look around for a new car last Saturday, not really expecting to find the deal I hoped to get. I only drove out to Schaumbug to hit a sale at a favorite shop but thought a few minutes at Patrick Volvo would be worth a look for that elusive low mileage, affordable, excellent condition 2014, black on black sedan. A quick call to dealership and Tola greeted me at the door by name and showed me the exact car I had been looking for. Deal agreed on in less than 15 minutes. While we waited for finance approval Tola offered his personal car to us to go shopping... end result new car and new clothes (I think I may have spent most of my savings on a new wardrobe). I recently purchased a Certified Preowned Volvo XC90 T8 sight unseen from Patrick Volvo. Of course, purchasing a vehicle without seeing it requires a lot of questions; and, the sales rep was highly responsive. He texted specific photos of the vehicle to address all of my issues. When it came to making a decision regarding price, it was pretty easy, as the vehicle was priced fairly within a 500 mile radius. A local friend inspected the vehicle and found a few dings and scratches that Patrick Volvo took care of before shipment. In fact, their body shop did such an excellent job touching it up, I can't find the blemishes. During the purchase process, I tacked on a few more OEM Volvo parts which they installed and nicely discounted. In fact, a few weeks later, I wanted a few more add-ons; and, Parts honored the earlier discounted price. Regarding shipment, Patrick Volvo arranged it all from Illinois to Minnesota. The carrier they found couldn't have been more professional, kind, and accommodating. The car was impeccable. The only frustration was the paperwork. There were a ton of docs to sign with no one to walk me through or a clear explanation of what was what. Checkout, so-to-speak, could certainly be improved for out-of-state customers. All in all, though, I'd purchase again from Patrick Volvo.

Well that was rude! Needless to say he never called me back. I guess his intentions were to play games and not be straight forward with me on the price of the vehicle. This review is for the PARTS DEPARTMENT of Patrick Cadillac, Volvo and SAAB. I went there today to return a part that was the wrong side and everyone there gave me a nasty attitude; including the manager. I got there and they took the part and said it was going to be a minute. Then they call the shop to let the owner know they cannot return the part because it is special order, instead of telling me? It is understandable that it is special order but don't give me attitude about it. They asked me 3 times what was wrong with the part as if i was giving them back a messed up part. It was in new conditions, we didn't use it because it was the wrong side. Then they tried clamming it was the right side when clearly it was the wrong one. The manager there should be ashamed of letting the parts representatives treat the customers that way. They acted like if we were stealing from them or trying to be unfair with them. In the end I left and let them keep the part and the money, we will not stoop down to their level for $129.97.

Hi, Attached is the form to be filled out for your refund on warranty. According to the finance office, this might take up to eight weeks. Spoke with my general manager on the rear camera. The car you leased did not have the rear camera and you were not charged for it. However, he has authorised that we split the cost of putting one in your car. Great service! I was looking to purchase the new xc40 and found my car here. My sales rep, Alex, was excellent. He followed up with me after I inquired about the vehicle via online. We discussed the car and set up a time to come in for a test drive. Coming from the city, I ran a little late due to traffic. Alex waited for me and had the car ready for the test drive. He explained/showed me all the great features during the test (I was terrified of the auto park but he assured me it would be fine, and it was). Never did I feel pressured to purchase the car but was treated like a friend. The finance team were extremely friendly and no one rushed us out even though we were there past closing. Alex made sure to sync my phone and set up my on call before leaving the lot. He was extremely thorough. It was a great experience! And he has been in contact with me, following up on services I am getting. I would recommend anyone who is looking to buy a Volvo, go see Alex!
