It was 2012 - my first and flawless transaction at Isringhausen Imports. But one year later I found myself with “unfortunate vehicle”. My initial reaction in state of panic - had to gather as much information as possible. I checked my options at home in Chicago. All dealers who I spoke to told me almost the same: “Talk to Isringhausen first. This is Old School respectable business.” And so I did. Few days later I got the call from Isringhausen Imports and was offered The Deal which I even couldn’t dream of. They basically bought my vehicle back. A rear end collision while my husband was stopped at a stop light totaled his car (which he really loved) and he needed a new one very quickly. We met with Scott Sables at Isringhausen and he was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, patient, sincere and a very interested and interesting person. We did not find the perfect fit but as we were leaving the lot a vehicle that we had seen online had been returned from a test drive. We test drove and purchased that Lexus, but it really was remarkable that although Scott showed us many cars and was very compelling in his knowledge of the vehicles, he never pressured us into purchasing a vehicle. He was very respectful and made us feel that he wanted us to find the "right car" as much as we did. He went the extra mile and helped us sync both of our phones with my husband's new car and even helped me sync my new phone with an RX350 which I had previously purchased at Isringhausen. We had several other vehicles to see both in Springfield and Quincy but were delighted to find the "right car" and purchase at Isringhausen. It was a pleasure working with Scott Sables and we will be back the next time we need a car!

Jeremy at Isringhausen wad great to work with. I had some warranty work to get done on my Volvo, and not only was that completed, but Jeremy made me aware of a recall on my car. The work done took a little longer than either of expected. Jeremy accommodated me with a loaner vehicle for the weekend while my Volvo was at the dealership. Isringhausen has a nice lounge/waiting area, and everyone I spoke to there were extremely nice. I'll definitely be going back.

I recently relocated to Springfield from New York and needed to lease a new car. I knew what I wanted and requested a quote on their website and immediately got a reply from Dave Heimlich. Everything went super smoothly from then on. Dave helped me customize the car to my liking, got me approved for the lease, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. I stopped by the dealership the day after I arrived and there was my car, all shiny and waxed waiting for me at the front. Dave took his time to explain all the extras and functions of my new car. He even got someone to drive my rental car back to the airport so I could drive my brand new BMW 328 home. So far no issues with the car at all. I am a very happy customer. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Scott Sables at the Volvo dealership. This was mom's first Volvo purchase and we had a lot of questions due to both of us being able to drive it. He was a very polite salesman and let me take the vehicle to my grandparents to make sure they liked it and could get in and out of the vehicle easily. My 98 year old grandfather was impressed with Scott and his willingness to go above and beyond his role as a salesman. We had looked at other vehicle dealerships and they told us that they would call us that week. Week went by and none of the dealerships called us back except for Scott. He was in constant contact with my mom, who had been very ill and I was taking car of the car shopping for. We got the vehicle and love it. Now my grandmother asks us every time we take her somewhere, "Are we going to take the Volvo out for a spin, Leslie?" You have to chuckle when you hear that. I even brought the car in this past weekend for the car wash and was impressed at how clean they got the vehicle in and out. My recent (and first) experience with Inglehausen served as proof that it is a unique dealership in that it values the virtues of trust, integrity, professionalism,and honesty. Based on its personnel's extensive knowledge of fine automobiles, this dealership was capable of answering all inquiries and thereupon inject ingenuity and creativity to the purchasing process. All the above traits, particularly trust, enabled me to trade in my rather unique 1986 Cab. on their 2011 911 Carrera S Cab. Neither party to this transaction personally viewed the vehicles involved until they were ultimately received. Rather, Geoff, Jr. relied entirely on my full disclosures and numerous photos of the '86 911, and I relied totally on his representations of the 2011. Inglehausen's shipping of the 2011 to me and its pickup of the '86 was flawless. My new one is, as represented, fantastic, while they obtained a beautiful driver. Geoff not only made this somewhat unique transaction come together, but also brought it in within the constraints of my budget. If I could assign 6 or more stars to this experience and dealership, I would.

Truly exceptional and professional experience as always at Isringhausen. Mike Dejanovich, Clem Myles and the BMW service technicians were superior in accommodating my needs. The technicians identified and corrected a persistent issue with my 328xd that another dealership was unsuccessful in doing. I have found similar levels of service when taking my Mercedes and Volvo to Isringhausen. I live an hour away, but will return when possible for tires/service and defiantly for the purchase of my next vehicle.

The service advisor was the same young man that I had spoken to a couple of days prior to my visit, describing my problem. Brandon made sure he understood my anxiety, and attempted to correct my key malfunction by doing something with the battery and/or battery prongs. After determining I needed a new replacement key, he tried to minimize my waiting anxiety by providing regular updates as to the time each trial fix would take, then the actual repair. He respected my concern for the additional costs a side mirror base would cost to have tightened, and gave me the cost for consideration for a later repair. This is an unsolicited review, submitted because I think there must be other customers in Illinois who would appreciate the service and excellence at every level that I have experienced with EVERY visit to Isringhausen Imports in Springfield, IL. We currently have a Mercedes E350, two Porsches (986S & 997S cab), a Honda S2000, and a Lexus RX300. Isringhausen sets the standard for a dealership, and no other has pleased us to the degree that Isringhausen has. Whether buying or coming in for service, we are consistently greeted with genuine hospitality. Everyone seems to love their jobs there; many have worked there longer than we've been coming (since 2002). We haven't purchased a new (just two used) car there, but can't imagine how we'd be treated any better if we had. Invoices are always explained in detail, any available coupons are added without my having to ask; I appreciate the empathy, accuracy, and value. If I can bring in a little 12-year-old Boxster and leave feeling as if I'm their best customer, that they, too, love my car, and that I have 'friends' keeping my car in good condition, surely you, too, would experience this personal service. I think the people Isringhausen hires become part of their family, that the customer service culture starts at the top and filters down to every single employee. I appreciate the contributions Isringhausen Imports makes to the community, the open houses, the tech sessions for Porsche owners, and the welcome received when 'just browsing'. I love getting to sit among the gorgeous cars while I wait for service or run an errand in a new MB 'loaner'! I appreciate the big jar of chocolates, the Starbucks, the clean restrooms, the great location, the beautiful showrooms, and, of course, the incredible cars ... but, mostly, it's the employees who impress me with the way they do their jobs. I appreciate the way the sales consultants (I used that noun on purpose, as they are great guys to consult with, not just guys to buy from) work together for your convenience and don't act like other 'sales' associates who pounce on you like a target. I like the way Isringhausen employees truly admire their BMW, MB, and Porsche lines. Every time I leave, my car has been properly serviced, the bill is correct/explained, the car is washed/dried and parked for easy departure ... it's always been a positive experience, always satisfying, and stimulating, actually. I love knowing they actually race and participate in Porsche motor sports, that they support the local Porsche club, and that the work they've chosen is also a passion where excellence is expected. Am I overstating? So far, for over a decade, I could have written these words at any time; so far, I have not been disappointed and have learned how to better appreciate my car(s) because of the relationships at Isringhausen. And, remember, I'm a little customer ~ but, I can't imagine how better I'd feel if I had spent any more there. And, I appreciated how nice they were to my youngest son when he brought the Boxster for me. It is a pleasure to recommend Isringhausen! I recently purchased a new vehicle from Isringhausen Imports, and worked closely with Jeffrey Edmiston in the process. From the minute I contacted Jeffrey, he was polite, prompt, and professional. The test driving experience was very well organized. Prior to arriving at the dealership, I had sent Jeffrey an e-mail with the vehicles that I was interested in test driving. Upon arriving at the dealership, all the vehicles were ready to go for my test drive, and Jeffrey was very knowledgeable about each vehicle. If I asked a question he didn't know the answer to, he didn't guess, but rather told me he didn't now, but would find out and get back to me. I respect that in a sales professional. They have a nice inventory of German sports cars and an excellent facility. I spoke with several different people during the three times I visited and here are the results. They have a lot of 911s, but not many of the car I am interested in, the Cayman. Brian Fitzgerald: Brian was the first person I spoke with at Isringhausen. Cool guy, laid back, not pushy at all (doesn't need to be...German sports cars sell themselves and he knows it), very knowledgeable, polite (asked me if I wanted coffee, water, etc). Took me on a tour of the back warehouse where they keep the $2,000,000 Porsche 918 (that alone made the hour-and-a-half drive worth it). He knew my first name when I returned the next week, which is always a plus. Jeff Colman: Needs to work on his interpersonal and communication skills. Comes across as a complete jerk. Jeff Edmiston: Said he didn’t have time to work with me because his daughter had a birthday party.

Isringhausen Imports sells top used cars that do not come fromThe auction. WATCH OUT FOR dealerships that are not certified......sure you will pay a lower price but not ahead because most of them are junk.

I learned about this dealer from their WSJ ads which showed amazing cars (Jag XJ220, Porsche Carrera GT, etc.) in a rather small town. When I saw an incredible S550 come up for sale on their website, I decided to give them my business, and I'm so glad I did. I used to do business with Plaza Motors in St. Louis, but this dealer is on a completely different level. Mike Carver was incredibly courteous both in person and over email and made my first Mercedes purchase incredibly easy. I will definitely be making all future luxury car purchases through them! As a side note, taking the train from St. Louis to pick up a car is definitely the best way to get there; the dealer is steps from the station.

In the past 2 years, I’ve purchased 2 vehicles from isringhausen Porsche. My sales associate was Wajhi Khawaja. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The transaction was straight forward and the vehicles were as described. Isringhausen has a track record of stocking the highest quality cpo cars.. this is very important to me as I’m not local (from Chicago). I find the local dealers in Chicago tend to dismiss my wife and I as we are younger buyers. This was not the case with Isringhausen. Would definitely recommend.

If you really want a good experience in buying a luxury vehicle, I suggest paying a visit to Isringhausen. I had my BMW 3 Series in for scheduled maintenance, and a couple of very small nicks on the rear bumper repaired. All was handled smoothly and efficiently - perfect, in fact. I was always aware of my car's status, etc. The loaner was a new BMW X3 Series - very pleased that it was not a Ford Fiesta or some such (for example) that some dealerships utilize for loaner vehicles. We went in not knowing really what we wanted and really didn’t need a new car. After five minutes I knew we would be doing business with Brian Mitchell and Isringhausen. The store itself is welcoming, in order and was treated great by all the employees on the first visit. It’s IMPRESSIVE! I cannot say enough about Isringhausen BMW. We are from Tennessee and were visiting family in Illinois over Thanksgiving. Long story short, prior to our trip, I just replaced the water pump and thermostat in my X5. While in Illinois, the car overheated and blew coolant all over the place. Fearing the worst, and being 600+miles from home, we called Isringhausen to see if they could help us. They went above and beyond while being concerned that we were ok and assuring us that they would get us home. Luckily, it turned out to be the best case scenario...the lower radiator hose wasn't installed correctly, so they fixed the issue and even washed and detailed the car for us. They showed an incredible amount of concern and compassion for us and we will forever remember them treating us so wonderfully in a really scary situation. We have family and friends that live in the Springfield area and we will most definitely be referring everyone to Isringhausen for any and every need! Thanks again so much.

Called for 1st time today to schedule service. Spoke to Clem in service. Whencalled couldn’t understand his name so asked to clarify if I heard Clint? Seemed to irritate advisor that I couldn’t understand him. Informed of issue on year/make/model of BMW and inquired what his service schedule looked like. Clem then places me on hold for approximately 2 minutes. Comes back on phone and says I’m back wit cha. Starts asking again about info on vehicle and says X6...what year was that again. I say look I’m not impressed as a first time caller...explained that expected a higher level of communication and that placing on hold and coming back without explaining delay or thanking for holding was not appropriate. Inquired how Clem was going to recover the call...he says I don’t like where this is going and I’ll have my manager call you. I ask what his manager name is and he provided. Started to give my number for call back and was cutoff saying I got it right here. An hour and 25 minutes later received call from service manager. Wanted to schedule vehicle for service by stating I understand you want to schedule your vehicle for an audio issue. I explained yes but really wanted to discuss Clem being not an individual that I would want to discuss my business with as it seemed that there is not a higher level of communication. Service manager was divertive in attempting to recap prior communication. My closing thought is this...I’m calling as a first time customer at your service department. First impression and intuition says there’s a communication gap-is this who I want to discuss my business with?? Maybe my expectation is too high. I called with a SOS malfunction and no audio or onscreen display and explained that. Explained 1st time caller and calling due to good reviews on google. Get put on hold and comes back with -I’m back wit cha....I explained that a reason for the hold or maybe a high level service advisor might have said hey...lemme quickly touch base with my technician that deals with these problems and call you back so I can schedule you accordingly. Instincts said stay away.

Best. Service. Ever. Passing through town and had AC issue with my BMW. They helped me out and got my car fixed, dropped me off and picked me up from my hotel while my car was being repaired. I live 6 hrs away so it was a gamble renting a Uhaul trailer and driving that far for a car I had only seen in pics. Scott Sables described the car as flawless and when I arrived, it was flawless. I asked Scott to NOT have my car washed before I arrived. When I got there, it had NOT been washed. Scott listened. Scott texted me pics of the car in their warehouse where it had stayed the entire week after I sent my down payment. My car didn't go home with a salesman for a weekend joy ride. I purchased a pre-owned Mustang at a premier German dealership and I received customer service as if I was buying their most expensive car. As far as customer service, you won't find a better dealership. The customer service is unmatched.

I very recently purchased a M5 from Jeffrey E. and he is hands down the best salesman I have met. Buying a car out of state can be stressful because you are relying on the salesman to describe the car He was honest, professional and most important prompt and quick on calling/texting/emailing me back. He provided detailed pictures upon request no matter how many times I asked. He was honest and clear about flaws in the car(scratch, nav not working etc). Negotiations felt like he was really on my side and genuinely wanted to give me the best deal possible. They gave me a fantastic rate on my loan and the car was delivered today. When I got the car I noticed a few flaws that Jeffrey did not mention. I contacted him immediately and he got right on it. He was in no way trying to play it off, but was honestly concerned and was more mad at himself that he may have missed something. The General manager called later to discuss the flaws. He too was very courteous and professional. Not once did he make me feel hopeless. He apologized that my experience was dampened because of this and we worked together to resolve the problem. We came to an agreement that made me so happy I'm writing this review. Just wanted to let people know there are not a lot of dealers that will go the extral mile after the sale has been made. I have met plenty of dealers that are professional during the car buying process but once you made the purchase they turn a blind eye. Not Isringhausen. They went above and beyond what a dealer should do and I will be doing business with them from now on with all my purchases. Thanks again for a great car but more important, for your integrity

Not sure where to start; the way I was treated by Anies and Rob was the best I have ever been treated at a car dealership. You would have thought I was buying the most expensive car in the store, yet I was buying a used car. They went way above what you would normally expect from a car buying experience. My experience here has been a roller-coaster but at the end I have to give them 5 stars because they do have some very nice folks that work there and make a difference in customer service. I bought a certified pre-owned Mercedes from these guys. I live far away and had the car shipped to me without seeing it. I asked them to be very specific and let me know even of the minor defects or issues with the car and I got the classical “the car is in a great shape – hard to find anything wrong with it” speech. When I received the car there were several things that right away jumped at me as being far from perfect or even a “great shape”. As much as its been very annoying to get all these issues addressed, the folks at Isringhausen truly tried to make things right and make (me) the customer happy. They took full responsibility for everything and tried to make it better. it wasn’t always easy and some miss communication along the way but it’s over!!! I have learned a lesson though to never buy a car without seeing it! The sales person I worked with was Brian and he was a very good guy. Honest and hardworking.

Our sales rep was Scott Sables, who made us a very good deal and conscientiously walked us through all the vehicle's new features upon delivery. Scott is very pleasant to work with and not at all pushy. We're happy we bought this car at Isringhausen because they provide good service, you can call them if you are having problems with your car when out of town or if you don't understand a feature, and they give back to the community in the form of charitable sponsorships.

Bad experience. I've bought a BMW and Porsche before from an out-of-state dealer with no problems. Did my homework on this dealer and they looked to be legit. So much for that... I found out the car i was going to buy had been a demo when I got the odometer paperwork (didn't notice the miles on the offer sheet since the photos on their web site only showed 13 miles). They said it was still new and would not let me opt for another car. Since they already had my money i was screwed. There was also a repaired scratch on the leather seat when the car arrived that was never mentioned and is noticeable. The snow tires they promised at their cost (as part of the deal) didn't happen as planned either. I will buy local next time, even it it means a 2 hour drive to get what I want.

I would first like to say that I have purchased many vehicles for myself and my business over the past 30 years from foreign to domestic models. I have worked with no fewer than 8 different dealerships. Recently I decided to purchase another Porsche but this time I wanted a limited production vehicle. I knew this was going to be very difficult since most limited production vehicles where allocated to buyers very quickly. I had meet Geoff Isringhausen Jr. last year and had a chance to tour their dealership and was very impressed with their friendly staff and great selection of new and used Porsches. So naturally I was drawn to them to discuss my desire to purchased a limited production Porsche. I met with Geoff to discuss my options and right away he gave me several ideas on what type of cars would be of value and where he could find them. Geoff ultimately found exactly what I wanted and he made it happen is a short period of time and was incredible to work with in every detail. Other dealerships that I spoke to did not think out of the box nearly as well as Geoff had. I can honestly say that when I am in the market for another car, foreign or domestic, Geoff and Isringhausen will be my first call and I will be their best form of advertising. Found the car I liked at Isringhausen but needed them to hold it for two weeks until I came to the area (I am from Arizona). It was a pleasure to work with Brad Miller. I paid a deposit and when I inspected the car it was in great shape and I bought it. My impression is that this is a huge dealer (you also may want to check out there Mercedes and Porsche collections), who does serious business and values its reputation over cutting a quick deal. Exactly the kind of style I like, even though their prices are not the lowest.

THE SPRINTER MECHANIC, JASON, CAN WORK WONDERS THAT NOT EVEN THE TECHS TO BE FOUND IN SAINT LOUIS CAN MANAGE. BUT BE CAREFUL THE FRONT DESK WILL TRY TO GOUGE YOU. I GOT BRAKES AND ROTORS AND I ASKED THEM TO PUT THE FRONT WHEELS ON THE BACK AND THE BACK ON THE FRONT WHEN THEY PUT THE WHEELS BACK ON. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $50 JUST FOR THAT !!!
