Went in looking for a 2014 or 2015 CR-V, with payments in my price range, and Bleu (my salesman) and Tammy (in financing) got me into a 2016 CR-V, in my price range, and the payments I wanted. My experience with the service was not a great experience at all! We had 2 recalls to be fixed and after the 3rd time I was able to get the work done. The second call was to order parts and get a rental car with waiting to hear back and after 2 1/2 weeks I called again and no one had called to let me know parts were there. The gentleman apologized and worked us in the next day. The next morning we received a call and was questioned about our appt. I then after being told our car would be finished that day, called at 4:00 from East Peoria and was put on hold the whole time I drove to the dealership (20mins) waiting to see if my car was finished! My experience is very bad communication! Also the lady that was in charge of my car would not even look at me or say a word (rude) but was thankful for the lady that helped me out! I have 2 Hondas and this was not a great experience at all!

I took my Honda Civic for service twice now to Bob Lindsay, the second just over a week ago. As a newcomer to Peoria I’d think it’d be top notch customer dedication since it is the only Honda dealership in the area. While both times the staff was very nice and pleasant to work with, I’m left feeling cheated. The first time I received an express oil change, tire rotation and a courtesy multipoint inspection. I was assured my car was in good condition and everything looked “ok”. A weekend a half later my “check tire pressure light” went on. I didn’t question it. It’s common and I figured I paid a decent price so they probably didn’t go above and beyond to inspect my tires. The second time I took in my Honda for service at 30k I paid almost $300 which reviewing the sheet was not worth the value (includes $11 “service supplies fee” and other misc charges). Whatever. I needed the maintenance as I was going to be taking a drive up to Chicago and was past due. When I dropped off my Honda they hooked up a machine to my tires and the tech came back and gave it to the woman at the desk which showed red and no reading. She said they’d make a note to look into that at no extra cost. When I picked up my car I was assured everything was fine and the machine must’ve “malfunctioned” sure enough two days later my “check tire pressure” light went on again. I called Bob Lindsay to bring my car back in to have the tires looked at only to be told by reception that the service department was so backed up they weren’t taking calls. I was transferred to a voicemail of a man (can’t recall the name) but never received a call back...over a week later. And now almost two weeks later my tire is completely going flat. If I’m going to pay hundreds of dollars for MAINTENENCE the least I can get in return is HONEST and RELIABLE service. Now there is probably more damage to my tire and who knows what else than necessary. I will not be taking my car back to Bob Lindsay Honda.

Told me my service visit was covered under a recall, only to find out it wasn’t and it ended up costing me $400. After they fixed it I inquired about trading in our 2010 pilot, then they told me it needed an engine and was only worth $1000. Frankly I was insulted after they just told me that the problem was fixed. After wasting 3 hours of my time and charging me for a factory recall I was never informed of, I will never own another Honda or do business here again. I was very disappointed and let down by poor, misleading service and a very condescending attitude. 1 star is far too much.

We get the same vehicle serviced there and it has always worked out well. The staff is professional, waiting room comfortable, free snacks and drinks. This was my first experience at Honda. First oil change. Get remainder emails but when I scheduled online asked them to call me to talk about some questions. No response ... You advertise complimentary service. Don't even get car washed after paying 60 bucks for service??. That's sad. Don't advertise If you don't do complimentary service. Lady at the service desk says when I asked her to use 3 dollar coupon..tells me that "next time you need to tell me before I do billing" After using Autohaus of peoria , really could see the difference In customer service and basic complimentary service hope to get better service next time. """"Received call from the manager within hours ...he apolozised and said the wash system broke"". Suggested next time put up a sign. 05/12/2017 Second experience. ..bad experience again. Gave the guy 5 dollar coupon for oil change. Didn't say a word at the time of check-in. Come back after service and says, well the coupon had both oil change and brake so, we will split it 2.50. i asked could you not applied the one on your website. He said what website. I said "come on man Bob Lindsay website" he said you are upset. Damm right .its not about 2.50..its your attitude that is wrong. Calls the managers and of course the manager supports the guy with a positive calm note. Learn about everything that happened before you support your people. You don't know what coupons are on your website??. The lady next to him supports him. Marketing team is not telling you ?? Are you kidding me. I know you are trying to get every buck from people but please show some common sense. A simple sorry would have gone a long way. .... I didn't care about 2.50. It's more about attitude that made me wrote the review again. The guy who took the car for service had an attitude. I almost thought of writing the name of the person who serviced my car... The person who owns this place should at least teach these guys some customer service techniques. Learn from other places guys. Having a fancy waiting room , snacks doesn't make people happy. It's the attitude customers. Please work towards making customer service more important. **Dont waste your time, don't go**" THIS IS MY LAST VISIT.

I live several hours away, and an accurate description of the car's condition was extremely important. When I got their the car was exactly as described. Recently took my wife's Accord in for a recall on the passenger airbag and while it was there they diagnosed a second issue with the airbag. They charged us for a half an hour of diagnosing time at $115/hour which is a bit rediculous and I doubt it really took them half an hour but we agreed to the rate before hand. The thing that really bothered me was that they also charged us a $4.74 "shop supplies fee." When I asked them what it was for they answered "if our mechanics use towels or brake fluid or any other stuff." They could not tell me what specifically the fee was for but just said that is how it's always been. Also, they were diagnosing an issue with the SRS system; I can't imagine what consumable products they could have been using to do that. It isn't a lot of money but I definitely won't ever go back here again.

08/12/17 I had a 10:30 am appointment for an oil change. Took way longer than it should've. They verified my appointment several times via e-mail as well as a phone call the day before, overkill. The "express oil change" took over an hour an a half, and I only found out my car was ready when I enquired about it! Service advisor Steele is his first name, seemed to have an attitude towards me and definitely gave off a bad vibe! Steele, excuse me, a long time customer, from bothering you.....jeez! NOT someone I'd have working for me! I've owned 7 Hondas in a row. Although I didn't buy them all there, I did bring them all there for service! I'm changing my mind about that. I really walked away from there today with a bad vibe from them. Ruined my morning!! "Service Department" that's the first word in the department... "SERVICE"! Bob Lindsay Honda...I think you're forgetting the definition of that word. I can buy and have my cars serviced anywhere....with car sales being down and economy being questionable... you'll have to EARN my business for me to ever come back there again! Terrible, terrible service!

I did not have a good experience with Roger Waldo. I did my research and saw a car I liked, but it was priced way over the Kelly Blue Book value. I asked why, and he became evasive and argumentative. He maintained that their prices are set by their management and by local sales trends. In other words, people are willing to pay our higher prices. It was not a satisfactory way to deal with an interested customer. I'll take my business elsewhere, and I advise others to do the same or you will become part of their local sales trends.

Worst dealer in town. Never return my calls on service appointment questions, and they always blow off my service requests under warranty. Bought the 2009 CRV there because they said when I needed service they would give me a loaner, but there never is one available when I service there. Honda isn't a bad vehicle, but the local service will drive me to another brand.

Called a week before my appt to get a quote on 30k mile servicing. When I went to the appt. They charged $75 more than originally quoted. Picked up my car after service was closed, so I called the next business day. They said that someone must have quoted me on the wrong car and could not do anything about it. They owned the mistake, but did nothing to make up for this discrepancy. I will not return.

They couldn't give me for a trade what I need to pay off my car, which I completely understand. That's business. Was prepared to thank them for letting me do a test drive and come back if I needed more information. Instead I was given a lecture about why my car wasn't worth what I was asking, and if I were someone going to buy a used car, would I want to buy that car knowing the history. I felt like a little kid in the principals office. I don't need a guilt trip. They couldn't do what I needed, no problem at all. I get it. But making me feel like an idiot for even trying? I won't be buying a car from Bob Lindsay Honda and I will be telling all my friends the same.

Over the last 4 years I have had very positive experiences with the service department on my 2 Honda vehicles. [2004 CRV & 2010 Odyssey] I see a lot of negative reviews written unfairly. Being 60+ years old I have dealt with many service departs of other brands of cars. I find the Bob Lindsay service department to be better then the competition. It is not perfect [No service department is perfect] but they try. I find the people to be professional and friendly!

My experience at Bob Lindsay dealership was not good at all. Last night my wife and I went to this dealership to look at a car we had seen on their website. The car was not available and when we said we would come back when it is available the salesman put lots of pressure on us to buy a demo car that was not in our price range at all. He also said how busy they are and how many cars they are selling per day. The car which we were interested to see was available today so I went back to the dealership and tested the car and told the salesman that this is a decent car we would like to compare it with the other options we have and finalize our decision and I said that I would let him know If this is the car we would like to buy. Then he started putting lots of pressure on me again and telling me that they are selling many cars per day and he told me with a very inappropriate tone that if I really want the car I should buy it or he does not have time to sit down with me for the third time!!! As a customer I don’t care how many cars you guys are selling per day or how busy you are. Instead I expect you to show me what you have available in the price range I provided, answer my question and let me take my time and make my decision.

I went there with my 10 month old son today to get my oil changed, tires rotated, and some other service items done. They saw that my hands were full so the told me to go ahead and wait in the waiting room. Brian came to me to have me sign off on the work done. He was able to tell me how long it would probably take. The waiting room had toys to keep my 10 month old occupied while we waited for the car to be done. They were fast! After getting all the work done, I remembered I wanted to get my service book stamped. Kevin (I think that is his name) ran out and got it for me in the car.AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! When I purchased my used car here, the service department ended up putting the wrong oil filter in my car...the oil filter ended up falling out of my car, during the night, unbeknownst to me...My engined started smoking heavily, and I had no clue what was going on. I ended up finding the oil filter and had to use that as proof that they messed up my oil change. They ended up paying thousands to replace my entire engine, since it was completely ruined. I appreciate them following through, but I was without a car for quite a while.

Customer service was non existent! I walked in to look at the 2016 Honda Pilot. No one greeted me or asked if I need help. I flagged a sales guy down because they were all too busy watching a baseball game. I asked for a book on the Pilot and the sales guy Jeff handed me on and that was it! He didn't ask if I was intrested in buying or even test driving. I had to ask him for the price on another trim level. He never asked me my name/info and I wanted to get info on payments. He finally went to ask his manager and of course it was over priced but at that point I wasn't goingg to give my business to someplace that treats customers like they are lost. It has been hands down the worst dealer I have walked into!

First time there and met Curtis there from their service dept. Not ripping off your pocket, even though i have 12 years old honda civic and i was expecting alot needs to be replaced this time and things i asked him to replace like air filter as i didnt know if it needs to be replaced and the oil change and curtis came back after oil change and told me air filter is not needed right now. Usually the dealerships try to get the money out of your pocket but this honda dealer doesnt. Very honest about things my car needs and whats not needed.

We purchased our sixth Honda and second Honda from Brad May at Bob Lindsay about two weeks ago. We specifically drove from Springfield to work with Brad and traded our 2014 Accord for a new Odyssey because we needed a much larger vehicle. Once again, the buying experience was easy with no pressure and a great deal. Brad is a pleasure to work with, and the management staff is very accommodating. We don't anticipate buying another Honda anytime soon, but when we do, we'll return to Bob Lindsay Honda.

NEVER AGAIN. Avoid Service Dept 2010 accord v6. I bought new from them and paid cash for it. STILL UNDER WARRANTY. Had misfire codes of 303, 305, 306. (class action law suit on the 303 misfire code too) Said because it came in with a full tank of gas and (as service rep Jen Wright told me on phone) "The gas smelled funny" and we think that this was a issue of bad gas!!!????? Oh, did I tell you that my daughter and wife got fuel from SAME pump at SAME time. Daughters 2008 low end ford focus never sputtered at ALL. And this high end accord died on the side of the road. HAD TO BE TOWED IN. So NO WARRANTY coverage. I was a long term Honda customer until THIS event. NEVER AGAIN. Hello Hyundai or . good bye Honda.:) Bob Lindsay , you can kiss my white Hyundai were the sun don't shine, and never mind my bad gas!! How, honda of america customer service was equally as worthless. But I told them how bad I was treated by Bob Lindsay.

This is the first worst experience that I had with any Honda dealer service center as a customer with Honda for last 6 years. There is no concern or courtesy to customer, can’t provide pick up and drop off, charges are very high.. did service for 30mi and charged labor charges for 1and half hour.and not cleaned up... gave a true survey on Honda survey request and manager calls today and says they gave $40 discount for $600 charges which is waste.. this is reality of this Service center

REALLY, it was an easy deal, shop Bob Linsey Honda, where your trade in is worth $2,000 more than those Ford dealers.

When my fiancée and her family had initially came to Bob Lindsay Honda for a vehicle, we had ran into a very negative experience with a salesperson. My fiancée was not happy, and nor was I for the mere fact that she was really looking towards there new line of 2016 Honda Civics. After leaving my review both here on Google and Facebook, it didn't take very long to get a response back... In fact, it only took mere minutes.. Bob Lindsay/Mike Bowermaster took it upon themselves to correct this experience not only quickly by contacting me online, but made sure to get in touch with me the very following weekday and did so in an impeccable fashion. Their service was not only exemplary but the steps they took to turn a very negative experience into a positive one is generally unheard of anymore. They are indeed a real deal great quality car dealership that has a very great staff. We were not only greeted, but talked first hand to Mike Bowermaster and in no time flat were on our way to test drive a vehicle with one of their many great salesmen. Not to mention asked if we needed anything multiple times throughout the experience. If you want a car brand that has proven itself over and over again... go Honda. If you want a positive experience you won't forget especially if you're new to this.... Go to Bob Lindsay Honda. 2002 Odyssey/140K mi, original owner, purchased from BL: SMALL oil leak from oil pan plug. BL wouldn't do oil change b/c stated that needed new oil pan from botched oil change/plug replacement from another servicer (Sears - so don't go there either! this was 1 of maybe 2x's that we didn't have oil change down at BL). Spent >$500 for new oil pan (labor intensive) plus additional services totaling $1400. Now we have a puddle of oil coming from the van! Took back to BL. They state the leak is now coming somewhere from above the oil pan - another $1400…This is an older vehicle but has NEVER leaked a drop of oil EVER since this incident. Well for one, the customer service is extremely lacking. When we first brought the car we were promised one thing regarding ScotchGard and when we tried to use it under the warranty the dealership would not uphold it. Note: This review is of the service department my sales experience was for the most part good...... spoke with a lady on the phone today in the service department and she was very unpleasant to speak with. I got no where with the call and i’m not going in to detail however this is just 1 small detail of the call: I am 21 and requested a loaner car while I wait for my car to get fixed, she stated i’m 21 so that won’t work have to be 25. When I bought my car I explained to them this better not happen because it’s happend in the past and have had to fight with other dealers to get them to realize that some customers are younger. Anyway I thought bob Lindsay would be different than any other dealer like they promised me. However that is definitely not correct. I’m a pretty loyal cutomer when you treat me right. (I buy cars a lot) so they are sooooo close to losing me as a customer. Along with this issue plus many more that were not taken care of, very very poor customer service in the service department (on a brand new car). I hope bob Lindsay himself reads this any maybe can fix it for the next customer. At this point I will not be buying an other car from them.... we will see how they handle this. Post-sales customer service is just as important as when you buying the car. Not being lied to is also important. Typical car dealer lie to get you to buy it then don’t care about you. Thought bob Lindsay would be different....

She works with Google to have as many negative reviews as she can about this dealership taken down. The 4.2 rating isn’t accurate at all. If all the negative reviews were left to be seen this place would get maybe a 2-star rating. Charge you for anything they can & the third party company they partner with to inspect your vehicle upon turn in , will skin you of fees for things that ARE NOT/NEVER HAPPENED to the car !!!!!!!! ***DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !*** The absolute WORST experience I have ever had . Leased a civic through this company for 36 months . 30 days before turn in , I go to purchase another vehicle . Craig , the appraiser ‘inspects’ my vehicle and tells the salesman that there is $1800 worth of hail damage to the car. I had it reassessed & that amount was untrue . I asked him to show me where the damage is and he throws his hands up in my face , storms outside , points at 3 spots and walks back inside while the door slams behind him . The salesman , Jeff , takes me on knowing he has an appointment coming in because he’s greedy . He rushes me , doesn’t go over anything , and pushes me off . Let’s just say , I went to another dealer who took care of everything for me. Including turning my car in & repairing the ‘hail’ damage at a much cheaper price . 6 weeks later , I receive an ‘End of Lease Statement’ . They charged me a $350.00 turn in fee as well as $40.00 in tax & $270.00 in ‘wear and tear’ . I went to the dealership to see if there was any kind of help that they could give since my intention was to purchase another vehicle , but with the lovely help from their great appraiser and sales person , I did not & they tell me their hands are tied & I would need to call Honda Financing . I call & Oscar , was as rude as can be as well , telling me ‘I’m not waiving that fee . We’re not the same company , so if you had a problem there , you need to take that up with them .’ No matter who you talk to , everyone is going to tell you that they can’t help you & send you off somewhere else . Even though they lost my business by no fault of my own . I have never had such terrible customer service in my life and the fact that Honda still employs these people , after the mistreatment they gave me , makes this place even more of a rathole . DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !

My mom took her car out there about Feb 23. It took them untill April 3rd to fix it. This was an enormous amount of time to be without a car. We was told a week then they was waiting on more car parts then a week later it was they was waiting on the biggest part then it was going to the body shop then the paint was curing then they had to wait for the insurance to adjust the estimate because the bumper needed to be replaced but we was promised over and over it would be done and they wouldn't have it done. I don't know of any other dealership that would take over 6 weeks to fix your car. Still not sure how my be ice caused as much damage as they say. She hit a firehydern and piped the tire and that did over $5000 worth of damage?

Service here is worst! The prize the show for service in the website does match when you give your car for service. They ask you to pay more just saying some story. I booked in online for 30,000 miles Service the prize came around 154.85 USD but when I came to drop off my car I was asked to pay 257 + tax for the same service that I booked in online. The worst part is receptionist or service rep saying their Website is not up to date and that does not give actual price. My question is If BOB LINDSAY HONDA can’t maintain their website up to date then why do they allow users to book car service on their website? I really hate and I would like to stop visiting next time if this issues persist. Not worth for paying so much MONEY!!

I had a great experience at Bob Lindsay Honda yesterday. When I had my vehicle serviced there last fall I was told I would need a rear brake job at my next service. When I went in for my appointment yesterday I was told my brakes were fine and did not replace them, that apparently there was an error last fall when they were checked. I was quite pleased that they double checked. Many places would of just gone ahead and done the brake job. From checking in to leaving the staff in the service area kept me up to date about the progress and were very nice to do business with. Also there waiting area is a very nice place to wait and also offer beverages and snacks. The cookies are great.

First off i was lied to by the guy who wrote up my estimate . He said we will clean the engine off to see where the cookant leak is coming from well my engine was the same as when i bought it in . #2 they did replace the head gasket but during the job they decided to put an aluminum washer on my oil pan bolt then tourqed it down to where a breaker bar was needed for removal. Oil pan bolts use a rubber gasket not an aluminum washer . # 3 the oil filter was on way too tight. I change my own oil and i had to drill a hole in the filter to remove it since the filter grippers would not budge it . SAYS RIGHT ON THE OIL FILTER HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. Can you guys not read? It seems like they were almost trying to force me to come back by making these things damn near impossible to remove . The techs name is Joe . This guy should not be doing any kind of work on cars period . He lacks the basic common sense to even do an oil change.

Always trying to rip you off. They don't care about your car's well being, only worried about making most profit by bamboozling customer. Thanks for responding - it was performed under my wife's name last week (10/10) - I will message you the name. It was a blue civic. Here was the story - the steering power hose developed a leak - instead of diagnosing and fixing this issue - they suggested a full replacement of the power steering rack for a full 1700$. So, I took a second opinion, and it turned out to be just a rusted joint on the steering hose, so I got it done for 200$ in parts + labor, and this is not the first time this happening - I have a few more examples from the past. Just a quick update (November 17th, 2018) : it's been more than a week now that Bob Lindsay's service manager was going to call and follow up with me regarding this issue.. . I haven' heard anything back. Goes to show their customer commitment!

Felt at home when dealing with Clark Taylor negotiating the purchase of a new vehicle. Clark was very patient in explaining the process and answering our questions and very thorough in going over the features of the new vehicle once an agreement was reached. The same can be said for Brian Bevill (Finance) who went through all the dealer options available to us and explaining the finance process in an easy to understand manner. The only negative was being limited in the amount of down payment that could be made using a credit card. Brian did explain the reasoning however.
