Belated kudos to the sales rep, Ricky Thai, for getting me in a vehicle I wanted: 2019Honda Fit! Ricky was very professional and made the trade-in process seamless. They didn't have my color choice, so Ricky went the extra length of doing the research and placed an order for the Modern Steel Fit. Although I felt he could've been more proactive in keeping me updated on the status of the delivery, Ricky was extremly responsive to my inquries. I'd work with Ricky again in the future. Brought my car in for 3 year maintenance and was happy with the results, but it took them quite a while to get the work done even with an appointment. They did give me a free safety inspection, but that was only after the $1500 I spent for all the other maintenance items I had to do. I will say that their shuttle service was a godsend. Since the work took most of the day, they had someone there to drop me back off at my house (about 20 minutes away) and then left me a card so I could get picked up and brought back once work was complete.

This is the worst service I have ever experienced at an auto shop. I had an appointment for 6:30 AM, and did not speak to a service representative until 7:15 AM. This made me an hour late for work. I was told I would be called in an hour with an estimate. I was never called. I called the following day at noon and left a message with the representative, who never called me back. I called a second time four hours later and left a second message. I was never called back, so I walked from my home to the dealership, where the representative claimed he'd called me earlier that day. Turns out that my car had been ready to go for hours. The work on the car appears to be adequate but the customer service gets an F. If I can avoid it I'm never coming back here.

Was here for an oil change. Appointment was at 930. It is over two hours later and still here. They claim they have a lot of people. I have watched people that arrived after myself be done and leave. I have checked on my car a couple times. Still same answer. We are busy. Explained it does not take over two hours to do an oil change and they had no come back. I have noticed they seem much more attentive and quick to serve those that are Asian. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

salesman was a cold, went to view 2010 pilot VIN# 5FNYF3H65AB008349 with asking price of 25,000.00 just to notice that vehicle has been on a frontal accident, and smelled like ash tray from previous owner, cigarette burns were visible on seats, can't believe a Honda dealership would display such as messed up vehicle and on top of that ask for 25k went it probably only worth 15k sooo much for advertising the best dealership in Hawaii

So I can't speak for their service dept. yet but I can say that Alex Shu in sales provided some of the best customer service you can get. While listening and answering all my questions he went out of his way to take care of my family and me. His hospitality really went far and made the experience like I was buying from an old friend. His dimeanor was very genuine and his patience (despite my restricted budget and screaming two year old), really made the purchase that much better.

My mom dropped her Honda Fit for a recall appointment at 10:30am this morning. Was told to wait in the office. Other customers came in after her and their cars were serviced before her. Around 11:30, another younger female customer came in and had her car readied for service before my mom's. My mom asked why that customer was serviced before her. The service agent said, 'oh, we'll service the younger customer first'. Seriously?!?!?! Instead of waiting there for her car, my mom went to run errands. She left her phone number with them with the promise that they'd call her when the car was ready. No one called. She waited til 2:30 and walked back to Honda. Asked about her car, they said another 15-20 minutes. After 30 minutes, she inquired again. They check the computer and said that it's completed. I'm outraged that this is even happening. The fact that they had the nerve to say they're picking and choosing who to service first based on looks is horrible. If that's the case, why even have appointments??? Apparently, they're taking advantage of an old lady and assuming that she has nothing better to do than wait for her car to get fixed.

Did not pick me up twice for agreed upon appointment for rental car arrangement for unsafe airbag vehicle......hmmmmm. After their second missed appointment to pick me up from my in town home, I gave up and just waited for the part to arrive. Operation in general is generally good. Phone service is terrible to satisfactory. Waiting area and shuttle service are good to very good. Prices seem high, but may be typical for a dealer. Service agents are variable. Keith was fine. I'm going to try Honda Windward, Tony Honda.

I'm a good customer whatever my advisor tells me to change/replace parts I let them do it A good customer shouldn't deserve a treatment like this

First off this review is for the service department. So I read the reviews for this place and most of them sounded pretty terrible but they were all around 8+ months old. Since my appointment was today, I decided to Yolo and go anyway. If it's your first time here, the entrance can be a little tricky to find. Its on Queen Emma St and looks like the entrance to a parking garage. Just follow the signs for "service." Somebody took my car as soon as I arrived. I sat down inside and waited to be helped and thought to myself "okay this is where things will go bad." 5 minutes later a cute girl comes out and apologizes profusely for the wait, which bare in mind was only 5 minutes. While checking me in, she hands me off to somebody else who again apologizes profusely for the wait. After getting me checked in he tells me it will be about a 3 hr wait and recommends some nearby places to check out. So instead of sitting in the waiting room, I walked around town and got some udon. 3 hrs later I got a call saying my car was ready. To sum things up: I went here expecting horrible service and was instead blown away by how professional and courteous everyone was. Plus there are a ton of places nearby to eat or just peruse while you wait.

Nice size inventory considering the location of this place. The still use the same old tired dealership tactics to try and reel in a buyer. The sale rep we started with, went and got his manager after I ask him for Carfax on a car and I never saw him again but I did get have two other reps try and get me to buy a car. So damn annoying and unnecessary.

(Stanley Lum FARTED in the car during the test drive and didn't even say excuse me or sorry then offered us a price a few thousand over the price on Pacific Honda's own website, he seemed like the stereotypical slimy car salesman....). However, Doug Oda was fantastic! Friendly, positive, and informative, he really seemed to want to help us make sure we made the best decision for us. I would highly recommend Doug Oda for anyone wanting to buy a vehicle. If it was just Doug I would give 5 stars.

When the rental car company threw me under the bus, they were willing to do any and all possible to make a bad situation good. I live in Atlanta and am a 3 Honda family. I went to the dealership to get a refund for the unused warranty on my car I recently traded in and after went to look at the cars. Some employee comes up to me and tells me "sorry these cars are for customers only". Um didn't it occure to you that people can own more than one car. Or maybe we traded in our last van to make room for 2 new smaller cars. He shouldn't assume before he knew the facts. Since this is the type of people representing the company, I'm never considered a Honda again. Then for the year after I keep getting a total of 6 letters (month apart) telling me my warranty is about to expire for the same car I traded in and got the warranty canceled a year back.

If you ever need a new vehicle in Honolulu, come to this dealer find Stanley Lum. My wife and I recently got a new Civic Si. We ruined Stanley’s plans for the night because traffic held us for about an hour but no problem for Stan, he stayed and satisfied our needs and we ended up with the car. He even went as far as hiding the vehicle that we want so no one would buy it (no he didn’t, I’m just joking about that part)! But seriously, come see Stan. He’s a genuine honest man and will not try to trick you or anything. It was great knowing him as well in our short time conversing. I’m sure we’ll see him around in the future when we have my wife’s car serviced and get our free hot chocolate. Thanks Stan!

Purchased a new 2015 honda accord hybrid! The car itself is decent spacious great gas mileage and good temperature control inside the car. The reason i am writing this review with only a one star review is because of four things which are the usb port, the speakers, dent protection, customer service, and finaly the price of the honda care 60 months 80000 miles. So to break it down in detail my usb port inside my vehicle is useless does not charge my phone and does not play music through it I have an andriod which shouldnt matter but apparently it does and they dont care to tell you that here. Honestly if i was an outsider looking in i would think im an idiot for not checking but honda is supposed to have a good reputation hench i didnt think they would sell me useless things! Alright secoundly the speakers inside my new 2015 car sound like i purchased an old broke down 1990 honda! The sound quality is so terrible every single person who has ridden in my car have sayed somthing and also questioned honda integrity on selling me a vehicle. Once again i didnt investigate it to the extent of a week of using it but who would brand new cars should have excellent sound quality i mean im not asking for the whole world to hear me coming but a decent treble that sounds balanced instead of sounding as if its going to blow would be nice! Thirdly the dent protection im not going to go into much detail about it but besides the fact they never offered it to me once which having a new car i would definently want to have that at minimum offered to me. Lastly I am going to talk about the 60 months 80000 miles warrenty. In the break down of purchasing the vehicle they told me that they had cut the warrenty in half which now researching it they did not they charged me 1250 for it which im pretty sure is full price but who really knows ever person i talked to says they dont either know or dont have anything solid to show me besides the word of mouth which is crab! In conclusion instead of being a child and writing this review before trying to resolve this issue i tried to talk to a manager to see if we could have me completly satisfied with my purchase! My attempt was a failer after speaking to an assistant manager of not even thr sales departent or of financing. What he told me is, after clarifying, is that the speakers and the usb prob is because honda just sells crap and that i could write them and see what they say. With the honda care he didnt know anything about it or the prices and with the dent repair well will see im here currently to see what they are going to offer me! Really i shouldnt walk into a building that seems so up class and then walk out feeling like i just left a ghetto car dealership that just sold me a car with no tires!!

Easiest car buying experience I have ever had! Made an appointment with Stan Lum. He was knowledgable about the product and quickly directed us to the car that best "Fit" our lifestyle. (Which happened to be the Honda Fit) Overall we were in and out with a new car in just under 2 hours! Crazy how quick and painless the process was. George was friendly, speedy and thorough in the finance department. Cannot stress how positive of an experience this was! Thank you Pacific Honda!

The people are nice and the coffee's good, but you're still in hell. And it's actually the most expensive cup of coffee you've ever had.

Mom went there for service. Mechanic made her wait a couple of hours. When another customer got there, he took her ahead of my mom. When that customer indicated my mom was there before her, he said "She's old. She can wait." WTH? They also didn't wash the vehicle, which was part of the service ordered. The tire pressures were also irregular. I had to refill the air afterwards. They varied by as much as 10psi. Needless to say, she is never going back to that service center since they don't like older folks.

Typical shady sales tactics. Guy promised not to cash my $500 check to reserve a model they ordered for me from the mainland. Then he cashed it anyway. I noticed right away; so I called him and cancelled the order and got the money back. Went to Windward Honda, and they were 10 times nicer. Bought there. ... Later when I called to ask about a minor problem, Honda Pacific says bring it in and we'll take a look, $150 diagnostic charge minimum. Called Windward, guy gave me free troubleshooting advice over the phone. Stay away from Pacific Honda.

Terrible customer service from the sales department. It would be common courtesy to state your name when your answer the phone. They have no knowledge of leasing contracts and default to saying "we're just the middle man" to my questions. When I asked for a number I could call about leasing contracts, they had to look it up and gave me incorrect number. BTW they have a turn in fee of $350 if they didn't mention it at the time of the lease.

Brought my car in for an oil change and 2 recalls. I had an appointment for 9a, got my car back around 3p. No biggie, I can deal. However that night I notice when I turn the steering wheel there is a screw or something rattling around in it. I have called Honda, I have emailed Honda, I called again and actually got a person, only to be disconnected, and now no one will answer again, and no one called me back when we got disconnected. The service department its severely lacking in customer service, and apparently quality service as well. I will delete or modify this review if Honda is able to fix the situation, but until then, I do not recommend this place. Update/Edit: Honda called me shortly after my reviews were written and told me to just bring in the car. My boyfriend brought it in for me, and they had it about two hours and were able to fix their problem. I appreciate them fitting us in as I know they are always extremely booked. Unfortunately between the cost of services and the quality of service, this bridge may just be to burned for repair. I will most likely be taking my vehicle elsewhere in the future.

Sold my vehicle that I bought from this dealership and when I turned in my paper work to get what ever was left on my prepaid gap insurance this dealership has no paperwork from me. I pulled up my email, which I still have, dated April 12 2016. Been trying to talk to the finance manager for the last 6 hours and still no call back. Horrible customer service. I would put no stars but you can not post without least putting one.

I took my Honda Element 2003 for an airbag recall on September 10th. They gave me my car back with no AC and no fan working. AC and fan were working fine at the time I dropped off my car. Mike Igarashi told me that it's unfortunate but that happens. Basically implying that it was not their fault and that it was just by pure coincidence that it happened when the car was under their watch. Right ! Mike took the car to the technician, came back and said that it was a faulty transistor module. Curiously, all the HVAC electronic system in this car is under the passenger airbag! ... and the battery had not been disconnected because I didn't have to recode the radio. Mike quoted me $410 to fix something they obviously broke (they are forums talking about this very issue) I called Honda USA and they said I had to resolve this with the dealership. I tried to call the manager but was told that he was on vacation. I tried to get the assistant manager and they sent me to Mike Igarashi 's voicemail. Friday (tomorrow), I take my car in and I am hoping they fix my AC for free. If they do, it's 5 stars. Meantime I give 2 stars

DISHONEST. pay close attention to the paperwork. long story short, made a deal with Bill Tang,,, when came to the paperwork was not what we agreed on,,, then he blames the finance manager Doug Oda, then it turns into a he said she said game, and they also tryd to convince me that the paperwork was correct. i should have left after that train of lies but my ignorance got the best of me. An expensive lesson learned, wouldn't want anyone else to go thru that. Take notice of thier reviews, and compared to other Hawaii honda dealers, they have a history of negativity... If I could give no stars, I would. I have never been so upset at a car dealership! I bought a new accord in 2014 and my father bought a new CRV in 2014. We both had great experiences and went back to purchase two new cars for our wives. However, this time we had a completely different experience. In fact, I had to double check and make sure this was the right dealership. I went into Honda wanting to buy a new civic with a trade in. My father also wanted to buy a brand new civic but the salesmen didn't quite meet us all the way. At the end of the night we were only $500 away from making the deal, but Roger would not meet us there. We decided to leave but not before Roger had the chance to tell us, and I quote "If you change your mind, give me a call and we can still offer you that price". I thought ok, well I will just go home, think about it, and give them a call if I feel the price was fair. I called Honda the following day and asked for Roger. Roger was not in, I then asked to speak with the manager who was on duty the night before. The receptionist told me she couldn't provide that information because she doesn't know who was working. I guess it was too much work for her to ask around? I then told her I wanted to buy a car and had a deal set for us. Miraculously, the receptionist knew who the manager was and directed me to his number. I then spoke with Alex, he said he would give me a call back. After 30 minutes I didn't have a call back, so I decided to give him a call. When I spoke with Alex, he decided to tell me he couldn't honor that offer anymore. I decided this would be the appropriate time to quote Roger "If you change your mind, give me a call and we can still offer you that price". Alex then decided to tell me that "Well, salesmen just say anything to get the sale". I explained to Alex, that because of him I will not be purchasing Honda's anymore. My business will be with Toyota. I would have loved to purchase Honda cars for my family but due to the terrible costumer service and shady salesmen/mangers, my money will be going elsewhere. I would also like to add, that I was unhappy with them lying to me about checking my credit report. I explained to them that I was pre-approved and the credit union was a partner with them. They still insisted and coerced me into providing my information by telling me, this is how the credit union works. They needed to pull my credit from their system. Why would they pull my credit from their system when we didn't even settle a price? Were they trying to see how much money we made? One review down, now working on my letter now to Honda corporate.

Horrible. Got a tire rotation and oil change. Next day "a rock got in between my break pad and rotor". Had to get a tow there and they told me it just happens. Which I'm sure it does but not the morning after I received service for my car. I've lived down a dirt road for years never experienced it. I live 2 miles from this dealership via paved road. I guarantee if I didn't receive that service "a rock" wouldn't have got in between my break pad and rotor. Cost me 300$ to fix the rotor and get a new break pad.

Called in to schedule the airbag recall, they said it be two weeks before they can get the parts. Fair enough. Asked about a loaner or rental car, they service rep said "the car is safe to drive". Not entirely true. I then inquired about the "shotgun-in-face" nature of the recall, and the rep hung up. WOW!" Here is a quote straight from Honda's official website: "Authorized Honda and Acura dealerships will make appropriate repairs at no charge to the customer. If an owner requests alternative transportation while awaiting repair, while the repair is in progress, or if there is a delay in repairing a vehicle affected by a driver’s airbag inflator recall, Honda and Acura dealers are authorized to provide a free loaner or rental vehicle."

Unfortunately, I had a very upsetting first visit to Pacific Honda. It started off great with an employee named Sherman, but turned into a nightmare when we were transferred to a manager named Gordon Santucci. Before meeting with him we let him know we were shopping for a Honda Civic EX, but were not certain we would buy. He gave us Honda's cost and his employee's commission rates, which we did not request. Then proceeded to ask me how much commission I felt he deserved. He then asked us what price would make us happy and get us to purchase the car today. We named our price and he said he will try to make it happen. He asked me to initial next to the price I chose. He came back with a new price, which was $2,750 higher then what we agreed to, and said here you go. I thanked him for his time/effort and let him know we still needed to check other dealerships. He then began screaming, " NO! NO! What kind of people are you? Is this how you people do business? I reveal our cost to you people and you say no to me? Get the hell out of my dealership!" I could not believe what I was hearing! We have purchased 5 cars from Honda in the past and have never been treated this poorly. I still can't believe we were subjected to this type of unprofessionalism in a Honda dealership. It's a good thing we were able to see the true colors of Pacific Honda. I wouldn't wish this experience upon any future consumers. Luckily, I went to Honda Windward after this nightmare and ended up working with Stanford. I ended up purchasing the same car that day.

I took my car to Pacific Honda for a Safety Inspection and an oil change despite what I'd been warned. Ron C., the Asst. Service Mgr., was great, explaining everything and even giving me a 10% off coupon that I hadn't seen on the internet. Ask for him, if you go. They give you the option to drop-off or wait for your vehicle, I'd suggest dropping off, even though their waiting room is spacious and you can sit at tables, on their couches and watch TV, access the internet with 4 PCs and have complimentary coffee, tea, and cappuccino. They even washed the car. How can you go wrong?!! May be a little more than some other places but they don't try to "up-sell" you with things you don't want (blinker fluid - hee, hee!). Also, when I turn it back in after the lease is up, they can only say good things about the servicing done. Nice work, Pacific Honda!

I was on the hunt for a used car. Originally, I was looking online at different dealerships for Honda Accords. I ended up going car hunting, and my family and I decided to stop in to Pac Honda just to LOOK at what type of used cars they had about ten minutes before they closed. William took us upstairs to check out their used cars and asked if I wanted to test drive a car that I was interested in. Although they were already closed by the time, William was very accommodating. After test driving I really wanted to get the car, but was not expecting to take it home that night. William was able to let that happen for me, and I was excited. We met with Robert after to finance and finalize everything, and he was very accommodating as well. He was really funny and making jokes here and there. Excellent customer service, and I'll definitely be back to return for a brand new Honda! :)

I've only been here twice for service (airbag replacement and another recall) but everyone was friendly and professional and the repairs were done very quickly. It was a bit hard to get a call back from the service dept which was frustrating but in the end it was a great place to get my car serviced.

Not only is this dealership notorious for its location and hard-to-find parking with absolutely no signs, the staff is clueless as well, not to mention unprofessional and rude. Tried to buy a new car there today. Couldn't find parking. Was told by one of the staff to park in a certain spot. When I came back to my car, one of the staff had left a nasty hand-written note on my car that I shouldn't be parking there and to read the signs next time. I confronted a guy that initially ignored me when I pulled into my parking spot and he yelled at me for accusing him. If they treat you this badly before you buy the car, I'd hate to guess how bad it gets after that. Deal broken.

I live on Kauai and went looking for a Honda Ridgeline for my wife. Kauai has none at all. I called a couple of Oahu Honda dealerships, spoke to salesmen, and was immediately impressed by one (Son Le) from Pacific Honda! He not only respected the fact that I used to own my own used car dealership as well as managed new car dealers when younger on the east coast, but he really went the extra mile with everything that I asked for. He went out and took photos of the Honda Ridgelines in stock that very evening we spoke. He discussed details about the different models, as well as answered all of my questions (and I had many). He even spoke to service about a question I had regarding AWD versions and found all of the answers I needed. He also went out and took and texted me pictures inside and out of the exact truck my wife and I had narrowed in on. Additionally, he helped us pick out all of the many accessories my wife wanted to add and ordered them for us in one single transaction. He's already making plans now on arranging shipping through Young Brothers for us as well as had the Finance department get in touch regarding all of the warranty options available. He also followed up to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything else. As a former dealer myself I can say that Son Le handled the entire process perfectly and that Windward Honda has a great salesman who has no problem doing whatever it takes to put the customer first while also respectfully representing the dealer's interests along the way. Highly recommended! Thank you Pacific Honda and Son Le for making this a very easy, stress and hassle free, very important purchase for my wife and I! Hats off to you all!

OMG so much better in customer service experience. Didn’t feel like I was getting taken advantage of. Oil change is like 15-20$ cheaper too

Absolutely phenomenal car buying experience. Purchased from the big island and Ian Duong and Alex Shu made the process incredibly easy and went out of their way to make sure that I was completely set up for success. Their price, even with shipping, was significantly less than any of the dealerships on the big island, and I had my car within two weeks of my initial phone conversation with Ian. They had more variety in stock and were able to get me the specific model I wanted in the color I wanted (which was not available on the big island, and which I was told from the dealers here was not available anywhere on the islands). They didn't push to upsell on extra products or things that I wasn't 100% interested in, and made it an all around fantastic experience for me as a first time car buyer. Thanks to both of them, I am absolutely loving my new car.
