Our Salesman Louis was great. Everything else was horrible. I seen the Xc40 R-design on the web page. When I clicked down it says $439 a month with $3,500 and some change due at signing to lease the vehicle. It describes the exact car online. It does have the MSRP wrong. So when he goes to tell the manager they print of all the advertisement down and try present offers and tell us about other offers. But still, the manager does not come out of the office to speak to us. So we decide to leave at which point the manager comes out to apologize and blames corporate for the wrong MSRP. There could have been some ownership and or compromise for us. Instead, he blames corporate. I have seen similar reviews online before we went into the dealership but I did not believe that a brand as strong as Volvo would be so desceptive. Lessoned learned and do not waste your time.

The pre-sale process itself was a good experience. Unfortunately, less than 5 days after I purchased the vehicle the rear sliding window detached and looked like it had been played with recently. I reached out to my contacts there and was given “the run-around” “I’ll ask the GM” then given no response even after multiple follow-up attempts. I directly contacted the GM to which he responded “I’m sure we can help you out with that but let me ask the other Manager. I’ll give you a call right back.” This was 5 days ago. No response. Seems like they just want the quick sale and don’t care about their reputation.

My journey for the next best vehicle started October 2018 and ended March 26th, 2019. To say I am a bit particular is an understatement when it comes to my research with vehicles. That process is very enjoyable for me while I know for most it is not. Throughout the time I interacted with Justin Barnes at Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia. Justin was extremely patient, answered all my questions, never pressured me to make a decision and help guide me even after the sale. Justin was very responsive with texts, emails and phone calls. I am in sales as well and I will turn the other way when I feel I am getting pressured or the typical sales questions. I never felt that with Justin or the team at Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia. I had a choice which Volvo location to purchase from. I did not select the location most convenient to me but rather the one I felt most comfortable with. I did go out of my way for this location but I am most confident and comfortable with my decision. I am also confident Justin treats everyone that enters the doors the same with respect, patience and care. Thank you again Justin (and Rex & Ken) for making the entire process enjoyable. I am not from Georgia. I reached out online to get some information for prices and things. I was asked "when I could come in". Asked for my email and phone number and things EVERY dealership wants in order for them to solicit you with unwanted emails, phone calls ect. Never got a price from online chat, The person just ignored me after I stated I would like to know price before giving my personal information. A lot of things have moved to online, Especially if you are from out of state. Why drive and show up when the dealership provides this avenue for information. Yet, As supposedly great as this dealership is. It wasn't so on this day.

The parts guys are very helpful on finding parts and looking up diagrams that you can't find on the internet. Tim was an EXCELLENT person to work with and made sure that my car and I were both taken care of to the fullest extent, while keeping in mind that money is tight for me right now. I tried doing business with 3 dealerships in the Atlanta GA area. This dealership made things happen and took me and my time serious. They knew in advance which car I was interested and had them ready for viewing. It made shopping for a car quick and painless. They didn't waste my time like the other 2 dealerships and I left happy with the car I purchased and didnt feel as if they over charged me. Even after the purchase, there was some attention that was needed on the car. The dealership ensured my car was taken care of even when I lived out of state. Usually once your done with the transaction, their done with you but not this dealership. They want to ensure your completely satisfied with your purchase.

I didn't buy from them but took my XC90 in for oil change, new tires and brakes and alignment. Their service was unbelievable, tech's amd advisors communicated effectively and were very upfront and honest about what needed to be done. Their prices were astonishingly comparable if not even a little bit better than anywhere else you go. It was really surprising, because I was one who thought the dealer was a rip off, scam artist or over priced. Not the case here, they allowed my four old and I a private room where he could watch Paw Patrol and Little Einstein's, they had an assortment of beverages and snacks. It truly was a five star experience. My advisor Marcus, was great, friendly, happy to help with any concerns. They do military discount which was great. Any work I need in the future will be done by them. They were great.

It was my first visit to Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia and my experience was excellent. Marcus was probably the most personable and customer oriented service advisor with which I had ever dealt. He and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my time window. Also, the Service Technician, Justin, went out of his way to patiently answer all my questions. I was only there for approximately an hour, but when my car was ready, it had been washed! This is on top of the facility being in tip top shape. I can't comment on pricing because the service was under warranty, but employees and the way they treat customers is an essential part of being a world class facility. Finally, a dealership that appreciates their customers and knows how to treat you right. Keep it up and you will have a customer for life.

Had a pretty good experience buying a new suv today. Richard was our salesperson and definitely the friendliest person in that dealership from the moment I emailed him to inquire about a car all the way to the moment we walked out of the dealership after purchasing a suv a few days later. He knew his cars and was very straightforward. Definitely ask for Richard if you're going to this location. He will work with you and not force you into a deal. Tim, the general manager can come off a little rude but it's all part of doing business during negotiations so I completely understand. May offend some but didn't bother me because it's a brutal business. They will offer their rock bottom price and then it's take it or leave it. Good way to do business in my opinion. Also, Shelton the finance manager was descriptive of the extra finance plans available and a pleasure to deal with. I'm happy and won't hesitate to refer friends and family there.

We've owned Volvos for many years and had service at nearly all the Volvo dealerships and independent Volvo repair shops on the northside and this being the newest dealership is the cleanest, friendliest and most professional out of all the local dealers. Since Volvos are lower volume the facilities aren't as big as Lexus and BMW dealerships but that also means there are less people and less waiting around.

Ask for Trevor James. My wife and I drove 6 hours to buy a car, as it was the best deal on the internet. When we reached out to dealership we were connected with Trevor. Trevor's professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to provide needed details let me know right away that it would be worth visiting this dealership. When we arrived it was as advertised. The car was immaculate! Trevor walked us through the process and never onced pushed us to buy. He suggested routes that allowed us to really experience the feel of the car in a daily driving scenario. Talking numbers was a breeze. We quickly agreed to a price and purchased the vehicle. While waiting we had great a great conversation and really enjoyed the experience. I observed the atmosphere of the dealership while sitting and everyone inside seemed genuine. The closing was the time that the dealership really shined as I mistakenly left an important item needed to secure the deal. The GM was so gracious and made the deal work and it benefited us greatly. My wife purchased the car she wanted and we were able to drive back to our destination. My wife must have smiled the whole 6 hour ride back home. I took my Volvo in for service on Saturday morning as I recently started hearing a strange sound that I could not diagnose on my own. I was able to make an appointment on their website, and when I arrived they were ready to go. After about an hour, the tech diagnosed the issue and I was advised it would require a pretty serious repair. The service rep I was working with was great, and he was very straight-forward with me. He proactively tried to source used parts to give me multiple options, but we both ultimately agreed it was time to move on from this vehicle. There was no pressure to spend money on an expensive repair, nor to look at their cars which were ultimately out of my budget at this time. I seriously appreciate everything they did for me this weekend, giving me the information I needed to get as much value out of my trade-in before it was too late.

Our car buying experience here was amazing! We ended up having two different sales people, as our first sales person was off the day we came back. Both sales people treated us very well with no pressure. The sales manager also stepped in to help and made the experience pretty flawless. The new Volvo is one of the nicest and technologically advanced cars I’ve ever owned, comparing it to other Lexus and BMW vehicles I’ve owned in the past. I travelled down to the nice gentlemen at the Mall by boat, bus, plane, train and car...all in one day....(then faced the drive of 1200 miles to get back home) paid Full Price for the xc-40 since "they don't make any money on this car". They didn't have the courtesy to even budge a few hundred dollars off the $599. extra fees to have me leave a more or less happy customer. A totally lopsided transaction with no "win" in it for me. Granted, it was my foolish choice but I see nothing to recommend this dealership... you don't get the feeling they're people oriented...strictly the greedy bottom line....ma'am.

Often people would rather have a root canal than have to go through the "typical" car shopping experience... HOWEVER the experience at Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia is what buying a car should be like! I love this location and the service. I started coming here when Pete who was my service manager told me he was moving to this location from the Marietta Volvo. I don't mind driving to Buford because Pete and Marcus always take care of me. They make sure my Volvo which is a 1997 is running well and that i'm always informed on my car about whats next. I feel safe there that no-one is going to try and get over on me because I am a woman. They are always helpful and honest, and the whole staff is great. Everyone is welcoming and pleasant to be around. I never mind sitting to wait on my car because the environment is so comfortable. My FAVORITE Volvo dealer!

After my last horrible car dealer experience I purchased my last 2 cars from private parties to avoid the dealership hassle. However, David at Volvo MOG was very easy to work with. We told him we weren't going to sit around, so we dropped off the trade and came back when the paperwork was ready. It was all much better than my last experience and I would go back!

2016 XC60 brought in for a slight whining noise that changed pitch with the shifts in the transmission, which originated after a long trip (possible belt?). Was told it was a balance rod. Still under warranty. Had the work done, and the noise is still present. Disappointed that they repaired something that possibly didn't need to be messed with. Now the factory parts have been replaced and it briefly idles rough with cold start. When I asked to see the part, they said it was already boxed up to be sent back to Sweden. The staff is very accommodating and professional, but as for the work, time will tell. They also installed a tow hitch for a rear mount bike rack, which turned out beautifully!

Magical. Dreamy. That’s how I would describe my experience with Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia. In all seriousness, this was the best car-buying experience I’ve had to date. I live in Arizona, and after being nickel-and-dimed at my local Volvo dealership, working with Dalin at Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia was a breathe of fresh air. After finding the car I wanted in their online inventory, I called and spoke to Dalin, and asked him simply to send me an offer via email. I had done something similar to several other dealerships across the US, but received disappointing offers, so needless to say my hopes were low. Be careful of their finance offers on Preowned automobiles. They asked me to apply for financing, and afterwards (after creating an inquiry on my credit report), told my the Preowned vehicle is too old to finance. Like, if that's so true why do you offer financing for a product that actually can't be financed???? Don't you know the policies of the banks you deal with daily? So as I push on the rationale used behind their excuse, they finally say, oh for someone with YOUR credit score they won't finance the car.... Could I get a 780 cosigner, yes, but instead of asking for a cosigner I was told to come in and pay cash. I won't look here again. I went elsewhere and was treated with respect, my wife has a nice Honda Pilot, and the payments are great. Buyer beware.

Worst expierience I have ever had as a customer. I walked into this place expecting honesty and good customer service, since they are a young Volvo dealership who should be out for respect. I simply needed a check engine light cleared so that I could pass my emmissions. Before I chose to come here, I had 3 different shops scan my car for error codes. Each of those suggested the fuel pressure sensor needed to be replaced. The reason I came here was because one of the previous shops had suggested that the sensor was under recall. When I walked into this dealership I was immediately told that my speculation was more than likely wrong, however I was promised my first diagnostics for free. I dropped the car off on a Thursday and told them I would expect a call on Friday with a report. I received a call on Friday and was told a different issue(spark plugs) was under recall and the replaced. Also the fuel pressure sensor needed to be replaced but was not under recall. Finally they told me that they read a code for my thermometer control housing. All of these repairs would total over $900. I told them I would be back Saturday to pickup my car and explore other options. When I arrived on Saturday to pickup the car, they had lost my key. Initially they said it was because I didn’t tell them I was coming ahead of time. After 4 hours of waiting for my car, they admitted to losing my key and that they had to replace it. They also tried to charge me $135 for diagnostics, after I was told fees would be waived. It felt as if I was not being treated fairly as a customer, and it is clear the service department is incompetent. I feel like my car was low priority because I had no plans of spending money. I also feel as if they are telling me I have multiple serious issues when other people tell me it is a simple fix, potentially under recall. I will call Volvo to see if they can help with the fuel pressure sensor, since it was “at one time” under recall, according to technicians at multiple service departments. As for the other issues, I plan to have my car examined by other technicians. I will follow up on this review. I think it is fair to say this place will treat customers however they are worth. I felt discriminated and taken advantage of.

I brought my 2006 Volvo in because my check engine came on the night before. I brought it into the service department and signed for them to diagnose my vehicle for $151.00 about 4 hours later I'm told many things look wrong, but would need to leave my car for 5 hours to be diagnosed. To say the least I'm completely distraught. 5 hours x $151 = $$$$$ way to much just to find out what is wrong with my vehicle that only has 66,000 miles. I have called and left a message with top management.... I am waiting to hear from them. I called around to different repair cost and NO ONE EVER HEARD OF SOMETHING DISTURBING. I will call at 9:00 am for them to stop any further charging $. I will post again once I hear upper management. Very disappointed, and taken advantage of.

My wife took her car for service, and I'm sorry to say that the overall experience was less than pleasant. People at the dealer were very cordial, but the problem is not that they are not capable, but they fail to "finish" the job. In this visit for 10K PM and a brakes issue, the technician failed to reset the computer for next PM, and check the brakes properly. So she had to reschedule a visit to reset the computer and check the brakes which were repaired this time. This should have been resolved in one visit.

Most auto GMs that I've had the displeasure of encountering have a stick up their backside and look down on customers as if they are nuisances. Yet Mr. Dalton worked as hard as any of his employees on this deal, communicating with me like I've bought 10 vehicles from him, just a true pleasure to interact with at every step of the way. He runs a truly great business here, and has an amazing team around him...Justin in sales, Ken in finance, and sales manager Richard. Every one of these guys made interacting with them a pleasure, and something that you actually wanted to do. There's NOTHING in this car purchase that I wanted that I didn't get...heck I'm not sure how they made some of it happen honestly. Trade value I wanted on my old vehicle...check. Options I wanted on the new XC40...check. Payment I wanted...check. Bank I wanted to use....check. They even went to bat for me with my bank and negotiated the interest rate LOWER for me than my bank initially offered...how's that work?! Heck if I know, but these guys have apparently have some sorcery they can call on if necessary! I started out shopping for certified pre-owned luxury SUVs in this class (XC40), but somehow Volvo Mall of Georgia made a NEW XC40 more affordable and obtainable than a used one! These Volvo wizards have converted me from Cadillac to Swedish luxury and will gladly have me as a customer for as long as they wish to tolerate my demanding self! Best car buying experience I've EVER had hand's down, no question. Couldn't be topped if a dealership threw their best game at me. And the kicker is that this isn't Volvo MoG's "best game"...it's just apparently how they do business every day. My only regret is that I can't buy a vehicle from them more often!

The way I was handled as the customer by their General Sales Manager - Tim Dalton. It was truly unbelievable. The whole process took just couple of mails and it was so seamless. I would recommend him to be a showpiece for customer interaction. If all the dealers were like him then Volvo would be on top of the customer satisfaction from customers. My experience at this dealership was incredible! I am from out of state and drove 4 hours to purchase my 2018 Audi Q5. I found the exact car I was looking for on Autotrader (or similar site) on a Tuesday, clicked the link to the dealership, and Justin Barnes immediately called me and made everything easy from there. He fielded my phone calls and texts, sent me additional pictures of the cars, and sent me all of the information I needed to purchase the car. I was given a price worksheet through email that was so fair, we did not even feel the need to haggle. Once we arrived at the dealership on Saturday, my car was waiting up front for me, sparkling clean! We gave our business information to Ken and took the car for a test drive. Once we returned, we did a little more paperwork with Justin, sat in the car for 20-30 minutes playing with all the new gadgets, and Ken came to get us to finish everything up. Our total time at the dealership was between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. I could not have been more pleased with this experience. We highly recommend Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia, Justin Barnes, and Ken!
