If you are looking for a quality Certified Pre-Owned car, please, look anywhere but Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. After a nationwide search for CPO 911’s, I found the perfect match at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. The sales process was great and the deal was closed quickly. I flew to Atlanta and drove the car back in-state. When I went to get my state inspection performed, which is required for registration, my local Porsche dealer said there was something very wrong with this car. I was completely flabbergasted, as the car seemed fine to me, and drove exactly like the day I bought it from PAP. The technician explained that there was an uncharacteristic vibration in the car. Unfortunately, since this was my first 911 (and in fact my first Porsche) I did not notice the issue. The tech then put me into another 911 (same year & transmission) that they had on the lot. The difference was shocking. The car I was sold was very clearly not a car that should have been a CPO. It’s not a car that any reputable dealership should have sold at all. To date I have owned the car for 12 weeks and it has been in my local Porsche dealership for the last 9 of those. They have not yet been able to identify the underlying issue, and I don’t expect to have it back anytime soon. The general manager of PAP, Eric M, has been completely unsympathetic and refuses to accept any responsibility. The situation, in short, has been a complete nightmare. At this point, my only hope is that this review helps save someone else from the frustrations that I’m going through. If you are in the market for a quality CPO, please take my advice: avoid Jim Ellis dealerships in general, and Porsche Atlanta Perimeter in particular. In my opinion, they are abusing the Porsche CPO program and tarnishing the Porsche brand.

Tommy Walter was my online internet sales professional. I had never purchased a vehicle in this fashion without sitting in or driving it but Tommy's excellent information he provided along with answering all the important questions made me feel much more comfortable with the whole process. I visited the dealership about 3 months ago. I had started to think about selling my Z06 and replacing it with a 911. My initial experience was not amazing. As I left I was approached by a salesman named Tyler. He was a car enthusiast and inquired about my Corvette. We chatted for about 15 minutes and he left me with his personal cell in case I had questions. I learned more in that 15 minutes then in the entire 45 minutes previously. Over the next 90 days we stayed in touch a few times. As I got closer to a purchase I inquired about my trade and it’s value. Tyler worked things through via text and was fair and informative. He got me a solid deal on my trade if I chose to buy. I came by this past Saturday to look around. I ended up leaving with a new 911 GTS. The pricing was accurate for my trade with no funny stuff and the dealership gave me a great deal on a new 911. Overall the experience with Tyler and the dealership was top notch as it should be. We are not buying Toyota here. The finance manager Wyll also did a tremendous job working my deal and looking out for me. At times due to appointments I worked with Brandon and he also did a great job. I could not be happier and could not recommend Tyler , Brandon, and Wyll any more. Fantastic job guys! Thanks again !

They don’t take responsibility if they misdiagnose your car and still make you pay for it. I spent almost $5k and car was given back to me with same problem. On top of all that they did the oil service without asking and it wasn’t even due. Service manager to the service advisers are theives. No respect for anyone. All they care is maximizing the profits and pretty much screw people over. They will sell you stuff you don’t need. If you car is not fixed you still have to pay. My assistant took my car to Jim Ellis by mistake. It was suppose to go to Hennessy Porsche. Will never make that mistake again.

I have used Porsche Atlanta Perimeter for all of my warranty and scheduled maintenance service appointments, The people here are so friendly, and the job gets done professionally and correctly everytime. I live about an hour away (traffic), so I ask for a loaner each time and they always comply. The showroom is a blast to walk through (and dream!) They also have a complimentary Starbucks coffee bar, along with fruit, snacks and water bottles. I've had my Panamera five years and I've only had 100% positive experiences with this service center.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE SCREENSHOT OF CARL GRIFFITH’s REVIEW. This dealership is ridiculous. I have never experienced so much frustration before in my life trying to give someone my money. It all started with my initial phone call. I asked about models and pricing and TWO minutes into my phone call, the sales manager says “Come in with your check book and then we’ll talk, otherwise you’re just wasting my time and yours”. After they apologized, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give their dealership a chance anyways. Eventually we found a car I liked but when I walked in to pay and sign the paperwork; they had me sit down and wait 20-30 minutes because Carl was with a customer. I specifically called him 3 times prior to make sure that I would be taken care of in a quick and orderly fashion. They were aware that I would not be able to come back in for another week to finish up the paperwork if we didn’t finish today and the only thing Carl said was “Thank you.” And walked away. I called back to have another salesman finish my deal and instead I was passed around and sent to voicemail. Not only do I feel like my business wasn’t appreciated, I feel disrespected. Update: I would like to thank Eric for reaching out but I would urge customers to look at the review that Carl Griffith left for my parent’s business although he has NEVER met my parents. This man has the audacity to collect the commission from my car sale and then leave a poor review for my parent’s business WHICH he has NEVER been to, because I left him an accurate review of how he treated me.

I am an employee of the store (for full disclosure) and I never saw myself needing the service department as fast as I did. I was at Northside Hospital. When I went to get the car from the parking deck, I had a flat tire and big hole on the driver’s side front tire. For some reason, my jack wasn’t working properly so I couldn’t put the spare tire on. At that point, I called 1-800-PORSCHE. Within 20 minutes, I had a tow truck picking up the car to drop it off at the dealership. Between the Macan getting to the dealership and the service department changing the tire, it literally took an hour and a half... TOPS. If you’ve had any German cars, you know how long the turnaround time for any service department is... Even for an oil change. Thanks Tony and the whole team for making it super easy and truly respresenting what our brand is supposed to be - top notch customer service!!!

The way they could be considered “pushy” is pleasant and positively reflecting the brand values. We purchased a 2017 Highlander from them in September. When we came to get it we noticed scratches that were not seen previously. They buffed out the scratches while we signed papers. However we then discovered the mirror was busted and the leather seat cut. We had already signed papers so they wouldn’t do anything about it. They also revealed after all was done that they only had 1 key with the promise of getting us the second key. Since then we have called and emailed with no success of even talking to anyone! Let’s face it, they will treat you and your vehicle like dirt and not fulfill promises. Total sales people. Still don’t have the key and cannot get them on the phone. Terrible!

After my wife unfortunately totalled her Cayenne, I sent Alex a text on Friday telling him we needed a new one right away and what options we needed. Saturday morning he was ready to go. We were in and out in no time. Alex and the dealership worked with us while we waited on the insurance check and when the time came to close the deal, everything was done and ready and we were able to get in and out early in the morning before work with minimal inconvenience. Alex even personally delivered the car to my office later that day so that we did not have to wait for it to be prepped for delivery. This was our third purchase from Alex and our Fourth from PAP. I had a terrible experience. I was almost reporting this to BBB. Bought a used car in May 2019, was given temporary tags for 45 days. 2 weeks prior to tags expiration, I called my sales person Tyler Heinzelmann, who informed me that it was being handled by another department, his actual words “ it’s out of my control” and by the way we need your declaration page. The declaration page was sent 2 weeks ago FYI. I was glad to send another one. Two days later, I contacted the dealership again and was told to check with finance person. I called the finance person, left a voicemail and emailed too. Tyler Heinzler, finally texted me “ go to the MVA, they have your tags”. I went the same day, they checked in their database, no records from dealership found. I called my salesperson, texted again.No response. One week to tags expiration, I was getting desperate and called the salesperson and tags department Teresa Monroe. Left voicemail and email. No response whatsoever. On the last day when the tags finally expired, I got an email from Teresa Monroe, your paperwork has been fedexed to MVA. I went to MVA, apparently there’s no record of paperwork from the dealership. Car is just sitting in the garage with expired tags. As a buyer, how do you handle such a situation?

Unbelievable service! The staff at this location was all too sweet when we were making a purchase. However, they've only been rude to us afterward. When I try to grab a coffee, I asked the lady behind the cafeteria counter where I can get a coffee. During the whole time, she was reading her cellphone, and used her chin to point to the coffee machine in front of her and said, “just right there, that is the machine.” Her facial expression was very scornful and made me feel very comfortable. During the whole time, she did not standup or even tried to look at me directly. I am an Asian, and I am not here for a free coffee, I can afford a Porsche, what I feel is that they do not care my business. My sale associate was OK; However, the sale manager was terrible. at end of day, we could not make a deal. They tried to rip off me for two parts. they gave me super low price for my trade in. I got 3k more from Hennessey Porsche. When I decided not to trade in and lead the new Macan, they did not show me the break down price for the lease, instead, they just told me the total will be $$$. They try to play the match game!!! Thumb down!!!!!! Overall, I am very unhappy with their attitudes and services. I do not want to say they racist, but I did feel that way. It was a terrible experience. Luckily, I stopped by Hennessey Porsche and purchased a Macan. Got an amazing deal!!! 3k more on trade in, and 1k more on discount. The whole purchase only took me 1.5 hours. All Asians, please go to Hennessey Porsche! They treat us equally!

So if you didn't know about a year ago on November 2017, that was me (HADDIS TUBE) HADDIS TADESSE writing that fantastic review at the age of 14 years old. This is the school account i'm using by the way and I'm now only 16 years old. Let me be honest, while I have never ever been to this Porsche Atlanta Perimeter Dealership, I'm still fine with this dealership. However as of late on April 9, 2019, I read some low ratings and for the future when I turn 18 to buy a car, I'm still deciding (for the future) whether I need to buy a car here or elsewhere. When I turn 18 to 20 years old, I will make my final decision on whether buying a car here is better or not and if I don't like the service here, then I will find A better Porsche dealership elsewhere ok. However one day, I'll still visit this area and see lots of Porsche's here. But you guys also seemed to be friendly more recent as well. I don't know, I will decide at 18-20 years old ok. He took the time to explain what finance options and protection plans were available and worked with me to determine what was the best fit. They charged $1,107.10 for an alignment on my 1997 993 cabriolet!!!!!! My insurance company was paying for it, so I guess they think they could gouge the insurance company. This will effect my insurance premiums and yours!!!! Also, not to mention that Hennessy Porsche informed me they would only charge $400 for the same services. Tony B. was my service advisor and thought nothing of it, after all he’s making a commission. They should be ashamed of themselves. Who charges $1,107.10 for an alignment???? Even Lamborghini & Ferrari aren’t that high. Shame on JE Porsche & Jimmie Ellis. Jim Ellis would be ashamed of how his business is being run.

I recently helped my wife purchase a car. Tyler Heinzlemann was our sales agent. I’m not someone who writes a lot of reviews but I have to admit that we had an unforgettable experience with this gentleman. Tyler is very service oriented. He not only assisted us to buy the car, but he also went to the extra mile to help us after the purchase. We lost one key and turned to Tyler for help. Although this was beyond his sales responsibilities, he coordinated with the service department and got the other key reprogramed the next day. Tyler is one of the best sales agents I have ever seen; He goes above and beyond what is required at his work.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I started online looking at Certified Pre-owned inventory. Later, I walked into the showroom to test drive a Macan S after driving vehicles from Land Rover and Jaguar. I was was introduced to Tyler who facilitated the test drive. The dude knew everything about the Porsche offering and the competitors. They didn't have what I was looking for, but Tyler kept in touch via text for the next six months. One day, out of the blue, Tyler sends me a link with the car I was looking for and two hours later I drive home in sweet Macan S. Five stars for sure!
