This was without a doubt the most enjoyable car buying experience I have ever had. I was very interested in a recently released model, and actually finding one to look at in person and test drive was proving difficult. After much looking around and a few discussions with Gene in sales, I drove from over 100 miles away out of state to look at several choices Hennessy had available. Gene spent a lot of time with me going over what options were available on the units they had, and which options would have to be special ordered. He genuinely cared about helping me find a vehicle I would be happy with, not simply selling a unit they happened to have on the lot. I felt like the dealer treated me fairly on my trade-in offer, and in the end, I ended up driving home in a brand new Porsche (so new, that we had to wait for all the transportation "gift wrap" to be taken off, since it had literally just been delivered). Sara was fantastic in helping me with all of the out-of-state sales paperwork. I will gladly drive the extra distance to work with them in the future since they worked so hard to make my purchasing experience an excellent one.

Walked in with no intention to buy, just to look around and see a Macan up close. Greg was friendly as we entered but left us to look on our own until we were ready for him to answer our questions. He was very knowledgeable and happy to show us all of the ins and outs. If you need service, I'd skip this place. The guys at Jim Ellis Porsche are much much better. My wife's Cayman was here at least 5 times with no diagnosis. It took the Jim Ellis guys about 45 seconds to find the problem. Edit: I talked to the GM. The conversation went as expected. Somehow I am at fault. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Did I mention that Jim Ellis Porsche is leaps and bounds better in every way? Thankfully we purchased a shiny new 2018 and it's wonderful!

This is a great dealership for Porsche. As you might expect, the service prices are a bit of a premium. That said, you didn't buy a Porsche and expect service prices to be inexpensive. I have taken my car here twice and they have been awesome. During one service they found a problem that was covered under warranty. Today, I came in with my check engine light on and they found out it was an older code, reset it, and had me back on the road in 90 minutes...without even charging me. I truly didn't expect it to be covered by the dealership but appreciate them making me feel great about my car.

I purchased my first Porsche from Mike McPherson. The car was a 2009 Porsche Boxster S in Aqua Blue Metallic. I loved that car, but family changes forced me to sell in favor of a four door option to accommodate my son. The Macan was a new model at that time, so naturally I looked into it as a possible replacement. I spent hours at the dealership, texted, called, and emailed with Mike over months leading up to when I eventually traded in my Boxster, not for a Macan, but for a 2015 BMW M3. Sitting in the BMW dealer finalizing my trade-in, I received a trade-in offer for the Boxster, and due, in part, to emotional attachment to the Porsche, I wasn't thrilled with the offer. To set my head straight and think logically, I called Mike to get his opinion on their trade-in offer. He had absolutely no reason to help me with this, but he explained the current market for my Boxster and recommended a trade-in value that the BMW dealer accepted. Fast forward a few years later...my wife was looking at the new (at the time) Volvo XC90. The price of this car was substantially higher than I would expect from a Volvo, so I started looking at similarly-priced offerings from BMW, Audi, and Porsche. My wife drove a Porsche Cayenne S, found a build she liked on the lot, and Mike got her a great deal. Over 35k miles later and all services performed by Hennessy Porsche, we intend to keep the Cayenne and drive it to its last day. Over the next few years I test drove numerous cars with Mike, and again called, texted, emailed, and practically stalked Mike searching for the perfect car for me. As of March 2018, I'm now the proud owner of a beautiful, low mileage 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S in Arctic Silver with all the options I would want, including a few OEM upgrades. Mike was always patient and provided exceptional service before, during, and after each sale. I could not ask for a better experience and actually passed on several cars over the years just because I could not buy them from Mike. I feel compelled to review my purchase experience with Hennessy Porsche in Roswell Georgia. I'm a bit older and over my lifetime have bought more than a few cars and trucks from dealerships across the Eastern United States for myself and family. I always dread, with the exception of one other GM dealership, the purchase process, especially when a trade may be involved. It usually takes forever. I usually get pressure to buy extras during the payment and documentation process. That was not the case yesterday. I traveled about an hour and a half to Hennessy to meet with my sales associate, Mike McPherson. Mike met me on his day off. I had communicated with Mike for about a year and a half by text, email and occasionally in person in an attempt to find a particular type of car. Just when I had given up. Mike called. I arrived a bit later than arranged and was very cordially met by Mike when I walked in the door. Mike escorted me to the car and while I oohed and awed (this was a VERY big "deal" to me), Mike left, brought me a bottle of water and then begin to patiently describe the car, answered some questions and briefed me on some things to be careful of. Mike knows his "stuff". When that was done I was introduced to Ms. Sarah Ali to complete the payment and documentation process while my trade was being appraised. No wait. Sarah is easy going, patient and didn't try to pressure me into into anything that I didn't want. She gave me the information that I wanted, advice when she thought it was helpful and made me feel at ease. About the time that the documentation was almost complete, Mike walked in with an offer for my trade. I was treated extremely well on that trade. No going back and forth. They didn't try and "beat me up" with a ton of excuses. They offered a fair to both parties amount. I have never had that happen before.... Next was an in car brief from Mike. He paired my phone and effectively and patiently explained the electronic interfaces while being interrupted frequently by me with questions. And then I drove off. The whole experience took maybe 2 hours and a half hour of that was waiting for my payment to be wired. I got home and Mike, again, on his day off, texted to see how the trip, car and I was and if I had any questions. Mike McPherson and Hennessy will have my continued support.

I saw the car I purchased from Scott on the internet. It was almost a perfect match to what I was looking for (the newer body style with fewer miles would have been perfect) and the price was definitely in my comfort zone. We had an appointment with Scott to see the car on Saturday morning. We were there at the appointed time and Scott had the car parked in the shade in front of the dealership and was waiting for us. From that good first impression, the treatment continued to be courteous and professional. The only glitch was that they had some systems issues that caused about a hour of delay. The dealership was recently remodeled and is everything you would think a Porsche dealership should be. The deal we made was fair. The car was priced well, was a certified pre-owned and had been very well taken care of by the previous owner - excellent condition. Scott was helpful and answered all of our questions without high pressure. The finance manager was the same. We love our car and highly recommend Scott. It was the best car buying experiences we've ever had.

All of my initial communication with Gene was via email which I prefer to discuss details of the car as well as potential price. There's no sense in wasting my time or theirs if the price is way off and Gene made me a very fair deal via email. Once I arrived at the dealership to inspect the vehicle, the entire staff treated me like I was buying a $200k GT4 rather than what was probably the least expensive car they had in inventory! Was looking for a specific car. Hennessy of Porsche took one in on a trade and I instantly got in touch with Gene McClure. Within the hour he contacted me and he was showing me the car via cell phone. It was the easiest dealer buying experience. The price for the car was more than fair and was told others wanted to buy as well. I wired him the funds asap and two weeks later flew down to Atlanta. I arrived and there was a crack on the windshield and I was told to bring it home, have the dealer fix it and send them the bill. I drove all the way to Porsche because my tire was losing air a little everyday (not a short drive, on a bad tire, and I have 2 babies at home). I am told they will have someone look at it and when she comes out to tell me the diagnosis, it's "I did not see anything in the tire and I did not hear anything." She says it will make a sound when the air comes out. Really??! When I tell this to my husband and anyone who has ever worked on cars they laugh. Lo and behold, Firestone found the nail in a few minutes and even checked the other tires without me asking and found another nail (gave me both of them- I'm at building sites often). Honestly, who can you say that about? In this world of fly by night, one time exchanges and lack of loyalty from both sides, when you find it it’s like a beacon. I over heard him while I was there actually making arrangements to personally delivering a vehicle to somebody. Who gives their customers that type of service? If we’re being truthful not many people like buying a car so when you find a Chris Morea to help guide you through the process you are one lucky individual. It’s pretty funny but both my grandsons are Chris converts and Porsche people now. Let me explain... I came back last Saturday for my second delivery with both my 7 and 4 year old grandsons in tow because we had a Mimi sleepover the night before. Armed with chips, Porsche m&ms, and hot chocolate they patiently waited while Chris and I went over the car. There wasn’t one sideways glance or questioning look from anybody in the lobby or sales staff when we walked in and I sat them down to wait. Just welcoming smiles. Coincidentally it happens to be my birthday. After a thorough explanation of my new carmine red Macan S, nicknamed Fireball, Chris walks us all out, gives me a key chain and mug for my birthday and proceeds to buckle the 4 year old into his car seat while presenting them both with red Porsche model cars. They now can’t imagine why anybody would buy anything other than a Porsche or who could possibly buy one from anybody but Chris. And you know what... neither can I.

I've been going to Hennessey Porsche since 2014. I had a 2014 Porsche Boxster then which got destroyed by a careless idiot driver in November of 2016. I purchased a new 2017 718 Porsche Boxster 3 in March of 2017. I had my 10,000 service at Hennessey Porsche on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 and the technicians did the following: checked and adjusted all headlights, checked brakes, brake hoses, brake linings, inspected tires and adjusted pressure, changed oil and oil filter (6 quarts of Mobile 1), reset the maintenance interval, replaced the O-ring, replaced the aluminum seal ring, added some solvent (7101) and replaced the screw plug. The process took about 2 hours. At the end they had washed and vacuumed my Porsche and delivered it back to me. I put the top down and drove home. The total cost of the service was $317.72 and worth every penny.

I have purchased a Cayenne and Cayman S from Hennessy Porsche through David Gentile (sales manager) in the last two years. The Cayenne was my first Porsche experience and both the vehicle and dealership have been very positive experiences. Even though I know a Cayenne isn't a big ticket item at Porsche, everyone at the dealership treated me great, like I just bought a GT2 RS. Even after the sale, David continued to keep in touch to see how my Cayenne and I were doing. The dealership also invited me to all of the parties they throw throughout the year and David set me up with an invitation for the Porsche Driving experience when they were in town. When it came time for me to buy my next sports car, Porsche was tops on my list. Granted Porsche makes some great sports cars, but there is a lot of competition in the sports car market these days. Not to mention that a Porsche sells for a little bit of a premium compared to similar offerings (you get what you pay for though). I contacted David and told him what I was in the market for and he was immediately able to find something that fit the bill. The original price they were asking was a little higher than what I had budgeted, but David worked out a deal that had me driving away in my Cayman S. The service department is great as well. Almost every time I have dropped off my care for service, they have given me a Porsche loaner. It is very disappointing when you drop off your luxury car and drive off with a Camry loaner. Without a doubt, when I'm in the market for another car, I will call up David first to see what he can do for me.

I chose to give the dealership a 5 star rating because at no point during this process was there any pressure put on me to "hurry up and buy" a car. When I went into the dealership I did not even know what model car I wanted, so Mike, took the next 5 hours to show me the different cars, drive them around and see what I liked. We ultimately decided on a specific one, and due to some personal commitments I had to wait about 2 weeks to do anything. At no point was I being hounded or pressured to do anything un-naturally. We are the type who buys a vehicle every decade or so. A company car helps out in this regard. A quick submission through the website (who actually does that... right?) and within 10 minutes Scott had responded via email and a phone call. We were at the dealer in 45 minutes while our daughter enjoyed a movie with her Grandparents and met them at the house with the new car - we almost beat them home! Scott Hamilton made the process painless and easy. He is very knowledgeable about his products and answered every question we had thoroughly. He even tolerated several requests for the detail shop to 'look at one more thing' before we drove home.

Indifferent is how I would characterize my first and likely only experience with Hennessey Porsche in Roswell. I had exchanged correspondence with Gene in Internet Sales re a 2017 Audi offered on website. I advised I would come see car @11 today. Traffic delayed my arrival by 20 min. I arrived and entered through service . I did meet one froendly face service advisor and he walked me to front reception. I explained meeting and traffic delay and couldn't recall advisor name, but with prompting recalled Gene. The advisor was nice and offered water. The receptionist (chilly no eye con tact)st was told to call Gene. There were no other customers in lobby. Three other employees looking but no one approached. E. I stood on lobby for over 15 minutes and No One greeted or inquired or offered assistance! I felt very awkward standing up front near Christmas tree. Looking around I saw three or four men pass by me and tend to a car with no glance or offer to assist. I left. Hours later, no one has called. I guess this proves my point. Indifferent. Maybe my racial makeup played a part (I am AFRICAN American) and they were unsure as to why I was there but a customer service attitude was not shown me. The irony is that I came to purchase the car.

First let me say, buying a car long distance isn't easy, however I was lucky enough to get Gene McClure as my sales representative. I live in New York and finding the exact car you want in Roswell, GA makes this difficult. Gene described the car perfectly and sent me many pictures that I bought the car sight unseen. When I flew down to this beautiful dealership the car was perfectly as he described it to me. Being an ex-Porsche technician makes him very knowledgeable in every aspect of the car, and he spent a great amount of time doing so with my son and I. In addition to Gene, we met Jamey Holt the Finance Manger who made the whole process of purchasing and financing very easy with no pressure. IF you enjoy paying higher prices than what you were quoted, go to Hennessy Porsche ( What started as an oil change ended up over $2500). IF you want the least able Customer Service of any Porsche dealer in the Southeast, go to Hennessy Porsche. I have been trying for two months to remove a charge for a Key FOB that I never received and they can't be bothered. They hide behind their "no return police", but the problem is that I don't even have the part as I didn't get it. They have the FOB and the money... and of course, their wonderful customer service department. Follow Up: Spoke to the GM who was much better than the folks in the parts department. Aside from the blatant hubris of the parts department worker, the management genuinely seemed to care and followed up on my concerns. I have changed my review to 3 stars as they at least tried and were responsive.

From meeting General Manager Mark Venti, and then being introduced to Master Porsche Brand Ambassador David Gentile to test drive a couple of Macans, it was immediately evident that everyone on the team appreciated my time and business, and was committed to helping me make the best purchase decision possible. If you are even thinking about a new Porsche, I would highly recommend going to take a test drive with David. By sharing the Porsche historical features carried forward even into today's models, and explaining why instruments and buttons were placed where they are, to selecting the perfect urban "test track" to let me let it rip, to talking about joining the elite Porsche ownership club, David really conveyed everything that the brand and each model had to offer. Then, the effortless deal making experience, coupled with the highly efficient and thorough purchasing process with the help of Sara Ali, Finance Manager, was the icing on the cake. I am most definitely a customer of Hennessy Porsche for life. Of course, the best part was the amazing drive home!

I set up an appointment to come in and test drive a Cayenne. I exchanged emails with the sales rep prior to coming in to confirm appt time and objective. The sales rep, Scott Hamilton took another customer meeting before we arrived so asked another sales rep to answer questions for us. 45 minutes later Scott still has not shown up and now this other rep says he has a scheduled appt. What was the purpose of setting up an appt if you take walk-ins over people with set appts? Not sure why we were there for more than an hour and the sales rep could never follow-up to either reschedule or refer us to someone that was available.

I had a wonderful shopping experience with Greg Jordan. I was not even living in Atlanta area, but 400 miles away and my local dealer just didn't provide the customer service I expected (slow response etc). Anyway, I was on a trip to Atlanta anyway for something else so I just googled the dealers there and was amazed how high rating from this particular Porsche dealership in Hennessy with those "look-very-real" reviews from a lot of customers, so I decided to give a try calling Greg. He was very professional, responsive, patient, and most importantly taking time to understand what my needs were about the cayman I've been searching for. As a business professional myself, I appreciate such qualities from a sales person (no wonder he is the ambassador for Porsche brand). With just a few phone calls and emails, we quickly secured the car I wanted, by that time, I had not even met with Greg in person yet. So when I actually arrived in Atlanta just for that weekend, Greg already got everything ready for me to sign on, which took about 1 hour to officially close the deal. Now looking back, it may sound a little risky, to get a new Porsche cayman from the dealer hundreds miles away and from someone I've never met. But thanks to the powerful Google and everyone dealt with Greg and Hennessy Porsche prior to me writing those reviews online, I had the same wonderful shopping experience with them and encourage all future potential buyers to at least give Greg a call. And then you will know you are in good hands. Now I am just waiting for my fantastic sapphire blue cayman coming to my doorstep.

Not normally one to leave a bad review but was really disappointed in the experience. Not to say this probably wouldn’t happen at other dealerships but being a young couple we get upset when we’re deliberately ignored because of a presumption that we can’t afford a Porsche. Not trying to diss Porsche but come on we were looking at an SUV that was $62,000 and you’re trying to come off like no one that’s aged 23 and 25 can afford that. Annoying when we saw so many salesman walking around without customers after the receptionist told us she’d get us one. Waited 15 minutes while actively looking at vehicles then gave up and left.
