Chris Schaive Was a pleasure to work with! He knew his stuff! It was a great experience! Thank you
Service was time, car works great, and Ken cared a lot about my experience.
Just picked up my new xc60 yesterday, and I am soooooo! amazed at the pick up for an SUV. I usually drive a sporty car but I don't miss that car anymore! And my salesman was awesome, no pressure!!!! LOVE MY XC40!!!
Working with Charles Cook was the best experience. I can't say enough good things about him. Informative, knowledgeable and low pressure. He knows his stuff and is very kind. I also appreciated working with Victor. I was on a schedule and he did his best to get the paperwork done as quickly as possible.
Poor customer service. There was no acknowledgment from the staff AT ALL!. As a potential customer interested in the XC90, I felt very unwelcome and I will be taking my business somewhere else. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
First time working with Dyer & Dyer on a purchase, and I can say that it was an altogether pleasant experience. The sales & finance staff was helpful and negotiations were straightforward, with no surprises. Thanks to Philip & Ben we are enjoying our new Volvo. Special thanks to Gupton from the Mini dealership who was filling in on financing when we picked up after our surprise December snow storm.
friendly customer service and great car buying experience.
Doug was Awesome. Thanks
I had the best buying experience at Dyer and Dyer volvo in Chamblee the Salesman Clark Davis is the best guy to see there he will make your dreams come through and the most important was that Clark with Roman the manager give the best price for the brand new Volvo Xc90 t6 inscription, me and my family are so happy thanks to these guys at Dyer and Dyer Volvo in Chamblee
This is my second Volvo I bought from them as bland new last fall. Cars are absolutely excellent! But service quality went bad, from top shelve to toilet. I made a reservation call for 10,000 mile services and placed shuttle services for during waiting time. A woman on the phone told me my shuttle will be reserved. When I got there on time, my service manager told me, I have to wait for shuttle. He also said, I have to wait for returning shuttle after driver’s lunch hour. There were no information of the limitation of shuttle offered when I placed shuttle on the phone. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for just for shuttle to be ready. I took Uber back, because I didn’t wanna be fooled around waiting indecent shuttle service any more. I was told my car will be ready in 1 hour and half. I was back plenty more time (2 hours) for them to finish. But work wasn’t done. I asked, but no respond, no updates. All I hear is excuse. I am still here waiting just answer how long? Service here ain’t cheap. When your new car’s service contract run out that is 30,000 miles or 3 years, I recommend you to find nearby “Volvo nuts” who are mechanics love to work on Volvo, a garage that specialized in Volvo and European car to work on your special Volvo.
Great Dealership + Great People + Great Customer Service = A Great Car Buying Experience. I will definitely be a return customer for future vehicles.
Very routine appointment for maintenance; everything went smoothly
Just bought an XC-90 from Dyer and Dyer this past week. Lenny and Marcus were fabulous- showed all the cars details, knowledgeable, no pressure, easy to talk with, even set up some of the blue tooth features, and offered to walk me through all the car had to offer. Roman was honest and personable, a pleasure to work with. If you are thinking about a Volvo or even one of the other used cars on their lot, don’t hesitate. They are great!
I just got my Volvo XC60, denim blue, blond interior, heated and vented seats, heated mirrors, silver trim, air suspension, massage seats, luggage screen, the works! They didn't have what I wanted initially, but we're able to order it. Totally worth the wait! The sales staff are very personable and knowledgeable, not pushy. I highly recommend this dealership!
It's amazing to me how much the sales people and the service techs do not know about their vehicles. Salesman did not tell me that I had to pay for continuous service for the GPS system throught AT&T. This would have been a deal breaker, I use Sprint. To use ATT will cost me over $250 a year. It took 5 Techs before finding one that knew about this.
My first experience with Dyer and Dyer Volvo service department was great - today they lost a customer and I don't think the service manager cares! Waited 45 minutes for the service tech because he was dealing with another agitated customer. Several of the service greeters just walking around, never acknowledging the customers. Rick (manager) only addresses the female customer and helps her right away. When I addressed with Rick he acted like he could care less.... Guess what Rick - there are two other Volvo dealers in Atlanta! The SERVICE DEPARTMENT LOST THIS CUSTOMER!!!
I have bought or leased several different Volvos over main years in both Pittsburgh and Atlanta. Amazing car. Amazing value. The entire experience at Dyer & Dyer was excellent. The sales process, the finance process as well as my experience with their service department were excellent and painless. Good people. Straight shooter. Very customer focused. From the receptionist the the GM, we were treated like valued customers.
UPDATE : I get a call from Dyer & Dyer. Upper management was unaware that the below issues I was having had not been resolved. They thought everything had been taken care of the day I picked up my car. I am happy to say Dyer & Dyer handled everything professionally and swiftly once hearing the issues had not been resolved. Thank U...you are indeed the class A dealership I thought you were. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I purchased a SUV from dyer & dyer a little over a month ago. A few days after driving I notice a knocking sound every time I made a turn, so I took the car back and asked them to look it over. 1st off, I stood around the service area for 20 to 30 minutes waiting for my "assigned service person". Because "ONLY your assigned service person can help you".... I Guess. Then my concerns were disregarded and they sent me on my way. I returned to Dyer & Dyer a week later because the noise was getting worse, more consistent and I was starting to feel a vibration under my foot. This turned into an $1800 ++ repair due to something with the axle. WHAT! DID NO ONE CHECK THIS CAR BEFORE PUTTING A FOR SALE SIGN ON IT. I brought to Dyer & Dyer attention that I had just bought the car FROM THEM. I still had my temporary tags on the car FROM THEM and are they going to pay for the repairs? I was told that they would look into getting that handled. So, that was that Or so I thought. My car was left with them for several days, when I came back to pick up the car (Waiting, again for my assigned service person for 20 to 30 minutes) and was given a bill. A bill for the remaining balance not covered on my warranty. I was in such a disbelief that Dyer & Dyer didn't feel any responsibility for selling me this car with problems. WHAT! My warranty covered the bulk of the amount. Dyer & Dyer should have covered the rest!!!! No one should pay for repairs on their car before they make their 1st monthly car payment. I had the car for less than 30 days.....Dyer& Dyer dealership tags are still on the car. I asked to speak with someone and was given the runaround for another 30 to 40 minutes. I was told I would get a call back and that this would be taking care of. To this day no call back, No email and No one's replying to any of my calls. I feel so let down and disappointed by you guys. I really thought you guys were a class A establishment. Why?
The service rep (Ken) was very professional and very personable which made you feel comfortable. They fixed all the problems with the car and returned it faster than I had expected. The price was more reasonable than expected. I will return for more service if it is needed, Thanks
I love the car I got, but I didn't have a great experience with the dealership. When I first looked at the car, they told me there was wiggle room on the price and that they'd be willing to work with me. I was clear about the price I had in mind. When I went to purchase the car, they told me they couldn't change the price of the car, and they tacked on a $600 dealership fee and $400 for a cleaning product. In the state of GA, it is deceptive to add on any fees that aren't displayed as the full price of the car. They removed the $1000 in fees as a "favor" to me, but this didn't change the original price of the car that I expected they'd budge on. Not including taxes or tag/title fees, I ended up paying almost $2K more than initially discussed. The model I bought was a couple of years old, but none of the salespeople were clear on the specs of the car. I was also given bad information about the audio equipment. I am still satisfied with my purchase, but the knowledge at this dealership is lacking. I left feeling uneasy about the dealership as a whole.
Sales person was excellent.
I had such a great experience at Dyer & Dyer Volvo Cars. Thank you, Clark Davis for going above and beyond. I will definitely be a return customer for future vehicles. Thank you.
Very dissatisfied with the level of service received at Dyer now over the years. We have driven Volvo cars for over 31 years and this one will be our last due to the service department. It's so tiresome. Have not had these issues with the Honda(s) nor their service departments. My S80 sounds like a raggedy old truck after spending well over $1000 to have it repaired - yet no one can find any issue upon taking it back in for review. Really?????
Great place to buy a Volvo. Good information, transparent service, uncomplicated and friendly. I got all I need to make my decision for the car. In summary, I would buy again at this dealer.
Awful experience. I wish I could give them Negative 100 stars.... I was sold a car with a transmission leak. When I got the car home it leaked in the garage...(see my husbands review...) They refused to cover the repair costs completely and wanted me to pay for half of the repair costs. This is a leak that ANY qualified (or even a drunk ) mechanic would have seen....and I am surprised that this car was even certified as "mechanically sound" by their mechanics. Outright unprofessional and unethical! THE WORST PART - I cannot believe I was sold a car with a transmission problem especially after my car salesman Chris KNEW how important it was to me to buy a mechanically sound car WITH NO TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS especially after my last car buying experience. Chris even said and I quote "WE WILL TAKE CARE OF ANY PROBLEMS IF YOU FIND ANY - JUST BRING IT BACK AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT". ...HAHAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!!! I will be sure to tell all my friends and neighbors and anyone who will listen and all over social media about my horrible experience here. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR OWN MECHANIC WITH YOU IF YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE.
Worst experience ever! These people are manipulative and dishonest. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle here and it was nothing but issues. They will not take the vehicle back after they destroyed it with shotty work. I have tried everything to resolve things and they refuse. Beware! Do not buy from this dealership or bring your car here for service. Check other review sites and BBB Update: Dyer and I have reached a mutually satisfactory agreement so I have updated from one star to three.
The service was great and timely especially on a holiday. The service advisor took time to explain the issue and what was done to correct it. I am a customer for the life of this car! Thanks much!
Benjamin was awesome; very knowledgeable; very professional; and very respectful of my time. The General Sales Manager Roman was also a true professional along with the finance department; bottom-line, I got a great deal on a great car; and the process was seamless - and I work for a luxury automobile dealership. My expectation were high, and I was not disappointed!
We went in to lease an XC60. Beautiful, luxurious car at reasonable cost. We were in and out fast. Great service!
I bought a used Volvo for my daughter here at a great price and had originally added a warranty. After thinking about it, I realized I didn’t want the warranty after all. Alexis worked for me to resolve the issue and I ended up getting a full refund from the warranty company!
Marcus and Phillip were great to deal with. We put the whole deal together by phone before we drove over from Alabama. Very competitive pricing and wonderful service!
The employees are all very nice and really helpful. I never felt pressured into any deals I didn't want to do. I custom ordered an XC40 and it came an entire month earlier than expected. The buying process was very easy and painless. I very much recommend buying a car from this dealer. Shoutout to my salesman Charles Cook for being especially helpful and making my whole experience a great one.
"Sid" my salesman, was Nice and Great to work with on my car buying. And the other staff members were pleasant and friendly. Very accommodating and helpful in whatever needs or questions I needed answered!
The service team gets in no hurry. The past two times(and only times) I’ve been here you pretty much just stand around for at least 15 minutes waiting for someone to speak to you. Once they do speak to you, you pretty much just wait longer. Communication is the key.
Great car buying experience. I love my new Volvo V60.
Wonderful staff and great deals go see Allan Friedman
The sales man was EXCELLENT he gets five stars! I purchase my Mercedes C300 from Dyer and Dyer in September 2018. The finance guy is determined to inquire your credit to death, and jack up my car note payment $120, however, Thank GOD I was already financed with Capital One. After, I ripped my check in front of him for my down payment he lowered the future car note. If you purchase a luxury car from this dealership, yet be prepared to have your service done at Atlanta Classic Cars, or RBM, or Revolutions, or Solo Motor Sport because the Dyer dealership will state they do not have the proper equipment to service your car. Also, they will have NO Clue where to take your car for service. Be prepared for the interior upholstery leather, or fabric warranty to be FALSE. The dealership will indeed, cancel it in two months. Also, be prepared when calling for questions from the service department because you’re going be transfer over and over! Also, the department will pick up the line, and hang up. Then continue to put your call back in que for endless more transfers! HORRIBLE customer service! I was transferred to every department, and then back to operator who is ONLY just they’re for pay a check!
First time I purchased a vehicle out of state and was nervous. Dyer & Dyer was excellent. I have to say it was the best car buying experience I've had! Ask for Allan!
Doug was absolutely wonderful! No complaints about him at all! My only concern is possibly with Volvo's oil change policy or Dyer and Dyer's record keeping? I bought my 2018 S90 from Dyer and Dyer in August 2018. It had 5500 miles on it and I was told by my salesman, that the oil had just been changed along with the regular used car inspection. In May, my maintenance light came on at 15,500 miles, which makes sense because the oil is supposed to changed every 10,000 miles. Thinking I was doing good, I took my car in immediately for its first oil change, only to be told that I missed my 10,000 mile change and that I had to pay it. Apparently when the dealership changed the oil and set the light to alert me at 15,500 miles, they made no record of it on file. I was REALLY disappointed because I had no idea that I'd be penalized for not coming in at 10,000 miles. I of course went ahead and paid over $200 for my first routine service. :(
As a customer i felt very disappointed by the poor customer service provided by Raymond and Don (Service advisors)as they never returned any of my several calls and messages left on their answering machines.I only wanted to seek for their advice before bringing few of my volvo cars for service.Every time i called the the call answering lady was very polite as she transferred my calls to the service advisors, but unprofessionally they never answered their calls and when i left messages for them they never returnerd any of my calls.
We purchased a used car here and had a great experience. The sales people were very accommodating and understanding as we completed this experience with two small children in tow.
Dyer & Dyer quoted best price for leasing XC60 and the sales person worked with me patiently answering all my questions. Paper work (signing the lease documents) was handled efficiently by the Finance Director. My overall car leasing experience was exceptional... Thank you.
In for regular service and technician found a problem which was quickly fixed.
Excellent and very professional service. Car was washed after service and was ready on time for pickup. Strongly recommended.
They were very busy on Saturday. It took a little while but we were always looked after. Salesman was very good and explained everything in great detail.
Great experience without pressure or stress! Thanks to Rob the best salesman ever and Rick the finance manager! I am really enjoying my 2019 cx60 millennium T5.
Best people in the business. If you are in Atlanta area and looking for a new car, I would highly recommend this dealership. Every single person involved in my new purchase were awesome. Philip, Marcus, Zon and Delton gave the best customer service possible. I requested a very specific car and they found it in time for me. Thanks guys. I will recommend you for sure.
Great professional crew and worked to get me what I was looking for. Helped in every aspect and experience was smooth. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for buying a Volvo!!
aud and Scam Alert!! LONG POST BUT DETAILED BECAUSE THEY CALLED US LIARS although I have several witnesses, 6 to be exact!! I called on Thursday, June 20, to ask about a 2016 Honda CRV I found on the internet and was told it was there. We drove from Dawsonville (hour plus), only to find that we couldn't drive the car because they needed to replace the battery. (Sid was our salesman). It was a 100 month battery which was worrisome as the car was only 3 years old. We drove it but I wanted to see how the electrical system was since it needed a battery before it would run. Sid disappeared to ask the service department to tell us how to find the voltage indicator to make sure it was charging the alternator. He stayed gone quite sometime. He did bring us the owner's manual but it wasn't listed. Eventually he returned but said the service department was busy and getting ready to go home. Basically since the service department would not show us how to find the voltage output we decided I was going to bring my mechanic friend to look at it. By then it was getting close to 5 PM and they were ready to go home so I said we would come back tomorrow. My friend went early the next day right when they opened at 9 am. He checked the car out and let me know he thought it was ok. I called to tell them we were coming and went to meet my friend. Just as we pulled in, the manager, Roman, called to make sure we were coming to get that "little jewel" as he called it, before it was gone. I was in the parking lot and I told him we were already there but just waiting on another friend to arrive. By the time we got inside, we found out 10 minutes after we confirmed we were right outside waiting for a friend, they had made a deal on the car with another couple. They asked us to wait because the other people MIGHT not get the deal done. They mentioned they had another car with more miles ( the only one they had was 42000 miles instead of 37000 and was about 3000 more dollars for the same model and options.) After about an hour they informed us it was sold. After wasting two days of our time, they just couldn't understand why we would be upset to drive from Dawsonville, TWICE, only to have a car sold from under us while we sitting on the premises literally ready to deal. THIS WAS ALSO after HAVING MY OWN mechanic (Sid encouraged us to do that) DRIVE FROM Cumming to check the car since they COULDN'T and showing incredible amounts of effort and good faith. We were patient but eventually their incompetence was insulting. I had already lined up financing, priced insurance and was ready to buy this car. Where is basic human decency? As far as going to the manager, that was impossible as he seemed to be the one driving the switch to allow the car to be sold even though we were there. He is the one who came in with his little smiling humble self and said how sorry he was but that he had another car with just a few more miles (and a little higher price) so dont worry. This literally felt like bait and switch. They promised us they wouldn't let anyone have it. They put our name on it and parked it on it's own special spot just for us. (I would have taken it Friday if they would have checked the alternator.) They flattered and fluttered, one promise after another, but it was meaningless. Great way to lose customers guys!! Thanks for absolutely having the WORST customer service!!
Great experience buying my first VOLVO! Ben Hooper did a great job putting me in the exact car I ended up buying. I wasn't planning on buying a car that fast but within a few hours I was the owner of a brand new XC90 and couldn't be happier. THank you!
Took my Volvo S60 in for a tune-up and received great service.
I took my car in for service and had a misunderstanding with the consultant. The service manager was very helpful and worked with me to resolve the issue.
Experience was pretty good except for the trade in value i got from KKB which most of everybody uses was not honored. other than that everything was good.
Excellent Dealership. Great service, knowledgeable salespeople, quality automobiles.
I had a great experience buying a new car. I was able to work out most of the details over the phone. Craig, the salesperson, worked hard to find the exact vehicle I wanted so that I spent little time at the dealership. The price was great and the service was excellent!
Professional, competent and accommodating.
Allan, was very professional and trustworthy!
All individuals were friendly and courteous to me during the whole process Purchased a used vehicle that had some minor defects but this is expected Would return back once I am in the process of acquiring a newer or new to me vehicle
My sales person, Sid and finance person Alexis were both awesome. Alexis went above and beyond to make sure that I got the car I wanted despite a few obstacles. She was very pleasant and helpful. Thanks guys I'm loving my Audi!
Great service, connected with the sale representative via Text and email. And was able to stop in, complete app and drive away within 2 hrs.
After being told immediately upon arrival that I would need to pay $140 for a diagnostic test to find a leak on the floor of my recently purchased car; I was a bit taken aback. $140 just to drive into the service department?? The man seemed very irritated that I questioned this. I asked to speak to someone else and they determined that was not necessary. After 3 or so hours it was determined it was a sunroof drain leak. Gratefully, I was not charged. Thank you!
Service is awful and they don't return your calls. They over charge for everything and are rude. Once you leave the lot - they don't care about you.
Ordered parts over 2 days ago was promised one date never got them and by end of day no call no parts .....Just killed my entire line of shop and have to now hunt for parts thanks Dyer and Dyer for nothing
Boubacar Sy was such a helpful member of the Volvo team. He was very responsive, kind, and understanding. Not your typical sales person. He was concerned with my needs and making sure I got the best service and felt good about my decision of joining the Volvo family. Phillp, the GM, was very accommodating and was more than willing to go above and beyond to make me and my partner happy. Alexis in finance was amazing, friendly and very funny. They all stayed late to make sure I was able to drive my car home after a long day for us all. And even though it was late, I was treated like I was the most important customer. That says a lot about Phillip's leadership and the Volvo brand. Dyer and Dyer is definitely a cut above the other dealerships.
Easy going. Not pushy. Price was good. Love my new volvo.
Doug is always very professional. My appointment was on time and the work was completed in a timely manner. It was a very positive experience. I have all service performed at Dyer.
Fantastic experience with Joe Firpo at Dyer and Dyer. He was able to locate my DREAM car for me and it was delivered earlier than expected - and he made sure to keep me updated! The process was easy, no pressure, and enjoyable. My husband and I were introduced to the managers of the different departments and everyone was so friendly. I HIGHLY recommend using Dyer and Dyer for your next Volvo purchase - and try and work with Joe if you can. He had all of the paperwork ready when we went to the office, he communicates by text and email and very prompt with his response time - he's also honest and upfront - steered us in the right direction for sure! I will be a customer for life given Joe and the other folks are there!
2.5 hrs for oil chg and car wash...if they’d told me it would take that long I would have opted out of the car wash especially since it was a half effort wash (windshield was still dirty and other windows looked as if they’d smeared dirty water on them)
Charles Cook is a fantastic person to buy a car from!
I had a great experience with Charles Cook; utmost professionalism, no high pressure sales techniques, provided me with timely updates and information. If you want to speak with a salesman that's more like having a personal conversation, this is your guy. Highly recommend!
Thanks to Rick and Ken for accepting my car when the fuel system was not functioning.
Ricardo was very knowledgeable and helpful. We told him what we were looking for and he found it quickly. He also listened to my needs and didn't try to pressure me to look at options that weren't a fit.
Can't speak highly enough of Ken in the service department. I bought my brand new S60 in October 2016, and have been dealing with a consistent door panel rattle ever since. I am brand new to Atlanta; the dealership I purchased it from in Minnesota tried multiple times to remedy the issue, finally replacing the speaker and adding insulation behind the door panel. The rattle came back recently and I was unable to get it fixed before I left Minnesota. My home dealership insisted the problem is a blown speaker - I was sure it's just the door panel rattling again. I chose Dyer & Dyer to finish the repair. Ken came out to the car, listened to the rattle, and agreed that it was a door panel rattle. He also shared my sentiment that rattles should not be happening in a brand new car, and called the issue a manufacturing defect. He even suggested that they might need to order an entirely new door panel - totally fine by me. He also condemned my previous dealership's use of insulation to mask the rattle - again, I have to agree with Ken. Although they have not actually completed the repair yet, I can already tell that Ken, and the staff at Dyer & Dyer Volvo are more concerned with getting the repair right the FIRST time no matter how long it takes - this is the level of service I expect from a premium dealership. Ken scheduled me an appointment to bring the vehicle back in for a few days, setting me up with a loaner in the meantime. He insisted that they keep the vehicle until they can ensure the issue is completely resolved. THANK YOU, this is exactly what I was hoping for.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a comfortable chair to sit and could have Keurig coffee. I am very pleased with the results of the service, and all my concerns for my car were addressed.
Always helpful, excellent work!
Great experience! They know what they are doing
That was my first experience with Volvo. Dyer and Dyer Volvo made it absolutely fantastic. They offered me couple of options and patiently answered all questions I had. The OSD option was surprisingly amazing. The flight, the dinner, the trip to the factory, hotels - every part of it was done professionally and hassle-free. I really appreciate all support I received during the process. You have to be prepared however, to wait and listen to what they suggest. It is important. Thank you Dyer and Dyer Volvo for the wonderful experience! The special THANK YOU goes to Philip Jacobson, Zon, and Patty Dick. O. Sh. Atlanta, GA
Took my Volvo S80 in for service and it was simply a delightful experience. The car was handled fast by the Customer Service Representative, Doug Wright, and the problem was discovered quickly. The repair was done within hours and I got my car back washed! Thank you, Dyer & Dyer!
Raymond Price is efficient and nice. He's been great to me and my wife everytime we've come here.
I picked up my car and the service department returned it dirty. They said they cleaned it but never did. I thought their standards were higher than that. Also the loaner was dirty. If your gonna put out low rate service move off of Buford highway and lower your prices. However my sales guy is awesome Sid
Just over 2 weeks ago I purchased a used BMW X1 from Dyer and Dyer. I have to say the sales process from beginning to end was probably the most positive I've had. Charles Cook was very attentive and super helpful during the entire process. All said, it took about 2 hrs to complete the purchase. Truly an A+ experience. I do have to add, however, that just over a week after I got the car home I began to hear the screaching of brake pads (I work from home, so the car had maybe 20 miles added to it since purchase). Taking a newly purchased car in to have another $985 in brake pad replacements at a local BMW repair shop was something I'd hoped to not have to do so soon. A bit disappointed since Dyer and Dyer had services and maintenance checks listed as complete (though, the brake pad noise definitely did not occur during our test drive). Minus one star for that, but even then it's hard to fault a great sales experience overall given one minor added service hiccup needed so soon.
We drove all the way from TN to purchase a Ford Explorer. Our salesman was Ben Hooper. Ben was awesome to deal with; very nice and very professional. We absolutely hated driving in Atlanta, but we would do it again to be able to deal with Ben!!!
We loved our experience! Dyer and Dyer is a wonderful place to purchase a vehicle. Every person we interacted with was wonderful.
Doug Wright is hands down the best service adviser at Dyer & Dyer Volvo and I recommend him to all my fellow Volvo owners in the metro Atlanta area. He provides excellent service on every visit whether it be a routine maintenance or a visit to diagnose and resolve an issue with my Volvo XC90 SUV. While sometimes the need and/or resolution to an issue costs far more than I would like to spend, I trust his judgement, expertise and advice. My vehicle is approaching its 9th birthday and runs better than I can ask with very few problems/issues across the years. This is absolutely due to his service and care for my vehicle. Doug is a jewel, a blessing and I am most grateful to have him.
They don’t help people that need it
My wife and I were travelling on I-20, east, and had a tire blowout. After putting the "little" spare on and resuming our drive toward Atlanta, we began calling around to various tire shops in the immediate area and no one had the tire size we needed. We then googled Volvo Dealerships in the areas of Georgia we would be driving through. Dyer & Dyer responded with a get here as soon as possible as we were pushing the close of business hour on Saturday afternoon. We made our best effort to get there, even though it was Atlanta, busy as always, heavy rain also working to slow us down. We got to the shop and they took us in like long lost children and put a tire on our car and sent us on our way within an hour or less. Everyone we met treated us like we were the best customers Dyer & Dyer ever had - even though we were travelling through bound for Charleston, SC. May God Bless all the people at Dyer & Dyer for the customer service shown us, late in the afternoon Saturday, when we know everyone wanted to go home. Thanks to the lady that took our phone call from us while we were driving down I-20 at 50 mph, with a skinny spare on, thanks to the service representative that handled us, thanks to the technicians in the shop that got the work done right first time. So many smiles and a few hugs when we got our car back. There are good people in this world - Dyer & Dyer has several!
Dyer & Dyer Volvo has an excellent inventory of vehicles. I walked in to the dealership looking for an XC40. The XC40 is somewhat limited as it is the first year in production. Charles Cook welcomed me to the dealership and promptly showed me vehicles matching my interest. We found a perfect match! An XC40 that had just arrived and was in the service bay. No problem, Charles made the vehicle available for viewing and a test drive. Charles went above and beyond. Thank you!!
We saw a car on their website that advertised being 'Volvo Certified with a 100K mile warranty'. This drove us in the door. We then find out that this does not apply because the car in question was not a Volvo and that the advertisement was a mistake through a third party. I get it. We were really disappointed about this, but nothing was offered in respect to this. We went through the whole song and dance on the price of the car and the value of our trade in. We came to terms, agreed and moved forward with the purchase. Then came the finance part, which was a whole other sales pitch for rates. A little on the frustrating side because the best rates were not offered until we did a little more digging on our own. Finally, paper work was signed, we were congratulated and they said 'Here is your key'. We were a little surprised and asked about the second key. Marcus, the salesman, comes back into picture and explains how there might be a second one, they need look and that they will also contact the previous owner about it. Ultimately, we were being ushered out and were told that someone would call us. That call never came and we had other questions. We began calling trying to get answers about a few things. Promised call backs didn't happen about anything that was considered a sore subject. I finally called Marcus to get the answers I needed about oil change time (the sticker was left blank) and the secondary key. I was reminded that 'You bought a USED car and USED cars don't always come with a second key'. I rebutted that I was aware that we bought a used car, we turned in a car with two keys. I asked why were we not told about there only being 1 key until the very end and then left with the idea that a second key might turn up? Don't you inventory what a car is traded in with? He said 'No. We cannot track keys to all cars that are turned in'. This is false and he was very emphatic on telling me that 'You bought the car as-is'. He offered to have a manager call to me and that call never came. We then finally had the time take it to the Mercedez dealership to have it checked out because the warranty (obviously not the 100K mile warranty offered on the advertisement) is expiring soon. We were advised that the brakes put on the car were after market, which is not necessarily an issue, but were advised that "There were bad signs of rust on the rotors/brakes and that it looks like spray paint was used to hide it." Ultimately, the car is fine, but we will need to replace the brakes and rotors down the road. I understand that will need to be done at some point anyways, but the mention that spray paint might have been applied to hide the issue leaves you with a lot of questions.
I have been a customer here for over 20 years. They have always been excellent. I would never go anywhere else.
When my wife experienced a minor problem with the engine they promptly addressed it, provided a loaner to allow her to continue with her planned day and provided timely information up to the time the vehicle was returned to her.
I needed the Volvo emblem replaced.
Excellent salesperson and a good deal. The only thing is that there were a couple of issues with the vehicle when I got it home. A taillight bulb was out, a tire was low, and the headlights were badly out of alignment. If not for those issues, this would definitely be a 5 star rating.
Wonderful experience all around. Clark is amazing:)
I had a great experience with Dyer & Dyer. Specifically Marcus Davis, who was my sales consultant, took great care of us. I used the Costco Auto Buying Program which helped to streamline the entire process. The vehicle I was interested in was waiting for me when I arrived and ready for the test drive. The financing process was very easy as well. Can't say enough good things about my buying experience.
The experience was great and the customer service was very good
Marcus was our sales person, he was very honest, patient and knowledgable. The financial staff was warm and efficient as well.
Fixed my car very quickly and for a lot less than I was expecting to pay! Great experience!
An issue was missed during a scheduled service that resulted in an expensive fix. I had a horrible experience purchasing my car at Dyer and Dyer and will now never have my car serviced by your dishonest people again. I shall continue to disparage this dealership at every opportunity and my husband and I have stopped several people from considering Dyer and Dyer in their purchasing decision.
First of all, I love my Volvo and I had a good rep at Dyer & Dyer but that is where the good experience ends. After I agreed on their published price, I had asked several times for a copy of the sales contract before I made the over 4-hour trip to purchase the car but I never received one and I found out why. They add a Dealer Service Fee of $599 which, by their admission, is basically profit. So, before you buy expect the price to be almost $600 more. Then, they also add in an anti-theft and fabric protector for an additional $550 plus and it is already done to the car, so you can’t take it off. They allowed me to not take it but I ended up paying close to $700 for tire and wheel protection which I regret having to get but it was the only way to avoid the other two. The bottom line is what could have been a fun exciting time ended up with a lot of remorse and wish I had never bought the vehicle from this dealer. I will absolutely not be back to Dyer & Dyer Volvo.
Dyer & Dyer Volvo always goes above and beyond in regards to customer service. They completed all required services and my XC90 is running like a dream! A big shout out to Service Advisor, Doug Wright, and to the incredible service people behind the scenes. Thank you!
I'm newly relocated to Atlanta and was thrilled to find Dyer & Dyer Volvo service. Not only have they provided excellent maintenance service for my Volvo after a cross-country move from Seattle, but their pricing is better. I've also been dazzled by their friendliness and warm welcome to the area. They volunteered realtor referrals and job search contacts. I'll continue going back for Volvo care and maintenance.
Got a fair price on a used Lexus RX350 in immculate condition. Bouboucar Sy was an excellent no pressure sales person. Bought on the spot.
Service to volvo xc90 for breaks, oil and update softwear. Staff was freadly and all service done to satisfaction. Service car was clean and new just like our car we had in service. Could have had a little more gas as the light cam on on our way home we just drove back to our home 60 mile range in tank. But not a big deal to us on that date.
Finally decided to buy a new car and got spoiled by the quality and options with the Volvo SUV line up. Dyer & Dyer was the last option in Atlanta for Volvo and they didn't disappoint. Clark was very helpful and helped us get through the process quickly. Although the paperwork gets dragged, it was a very good experience. Denton was very helpful with the finances and very informative, answering all our questions. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future. Highly recommend these guys. Edit: My experience with the service center has been a little unsatisfactory. I had to get service on my Volvo twice within 4 months of it being purchased (brand new btw). A battery was defective on it they day I drove it home. The second time I went to have it serviced for being defective, I had to wait 5 hours in the service center, only to finally call a taxi to take me home and leave it over night. The repair was so slow, I was so frustrated. I ended up going back the next day only to be compensated for $40 in Uber fares with a Starbucks cup of coffee. Really not looking forward to future service appointments here.
Routine service with a smile!
Charles was awesome! He took all the time I needed to make a decision on my purchase. He was very pleasant to work with!
I can’t say enough good things about this dealership. Honest, friendly, & helpful are just a couple words that come to mind. Marcus my salesman and Joe in finance were amazing to deal with and so helpful! Lastly they have a great selection of new and pre-owned cars.
Excellent experience. No high pressure, very professional. Haven't had a Volvo in years and the CX60 rides as good or better than an MB.
The level of care and customer service that every employee at Dyer and Dyer provided was exceptional! By far the easiest car buying experience I’ve had. Thanks especially to Chris (and Philip and Jarred) for helping me get into the car of my dreams!
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Dyer. Three days from initial meeting (first time at dealership) to purchase. Excellent buying experience with no pressure with Chris and Rob (consultants), Roman (manager, dealmaker), Victor (finance) and Darlene (official greeter;). The vehicles are outstanding. I had a Audi A4 and purchased new S60 T6 sedan and could have easy chosen the CX60. Better comfort and feature-rich, especially luxury and safety, and frankly, a better driving experience. As a professional I wanted European luxury but not look like everyone else. The front of the car is cooler than any of the others ("Thor's Hammer" lights) as well as the in-dash system. They provided a great deal meeting my parameters. And they proactively informed me of a $1,000 cash bonus I didn't event know about from my insurance company. I drove away with the feeling of the right car and the right price. A solid balance of great people and great product.
They are very professional and attentive. I personally liked the way I was treated when shopping for a vehicle. I hope this helps someone.
Very disappointed! I bought a used car from here so my boys and I would have transportation .... two days after I bought the car I noticed it would try to run hot everytime I stopped. I have to literally turn the car off in the drive thru to get food! Hasn't been a month and the power steering locks on me... Also I have trouble cranking the car which is probably why the guy kept cranking it for when I test drove it. I spent the little money I had trying to get a car from a place I thought really cared about the customer but i realized I was wrong when the guy who sold me the car wouldn't respond to my messages.... I give two stars because the car "looks nice". UPDATE!: After going up to the location I learned they sold me a lemon! Blown head gasket with oil and water mixing. They added sealant to the power steering so I wouldnt notice... They are just sales people they dont really care about anyone.
It was great. They worked us in and did so pretty quickly. Answered all of our questions and treated us like family.
I recently experienced top-notched service from the Dyer & Dyer Volvo service department during my Volvo S60 10,000 mile maintenance service. The technician Terrance was very professional and made sure I was satisfied with my experience. I am a very satisfied customer!
Raymond in service is very nice and ask for Marcus in sales. It feels good to have a salesman who really knows the Volvo. Don't sleep on them.
Chris was very friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. Victor was as well. Excellent customer service. I would recommend Dyer and Dyer to my friends and family.
Allan Friedman was fantastic. He allowed me the time I needed to look, test, compare and make my decision. He was also very patient in helping me understand the "ins and outs" of my new car!
My experience with Dyer & Dyer Volvo was great. They were all very friendly and courteous. My salesman, Marcus is very knowledgeable and helpful and was not pressuring me in any way to purchase the vehicle that I did. It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely return when the need is there.
Five stars to David (GM) and his entire team! Special recognition goes to Marcus, a knowledgeable partner in our buying process. Here's what's different and unique about this team: everyone interacted with us to support our experience in making a selection of the best car to fit our needs. Marcus provided a thorough educational experience and suggested different makes and models for test driving. Every other salesperson at every other dealership tried to sell us. Marcus didn't sell us a car; instead, he let us buy one. Our finance partner, John Aguirre, was equally as knowledgeable and supportive, citing the pros/cons of different approaches to the total cost of ownership vs the typical "how much do you want to pay each month?" question. For professionalism, knowledge, teamwork, and an experience that begins and ends with the buyer (not the seller), Dyer & Dyer is the only dealership in town.
The most wonderful car buying experience I have ever had. Ben was so easy to talk too. Not pushy at all. Which I prefer. Ivana was awesome as well. When the time comes for another car, I will definitely consider them again. And I have already started telling my friends that they too should visit you. Thank you again for making this a pleasurable experience!!
We took our car in to have a diagnostic done for an infrequent starting problem. We were told the cost of the diagnostic test would cost $250. We agreed and signed, giving authorization. Today a month and a half later we have a car that will not start and a bill for $451 for parts that did not solve the problem we initially brought the car in for. So long story short, we have a car that was running when we brought it in that will not start a dead battery and a flat tire.
I spent the last 3 months stressing over what to replace our Sienna (the lease was up) family hauler with. After many visits to dealers and test drives and negotiations I walked away with no hope. I officially hate car stealerships and hate the cars on offer even more as each of them seems to be designed by a bigger idiot than the next. That was all the case until I walked into Dyer & Dyer Volvo. I was expecting to be bombarded with desperately smiling salespeople swooning over me with "if you're ready to buy one today, i will lick your shoes shiny and throw in a branded lens cloth for FREE". None of that happened there. They introduced me, upon MY REQUEST, to a salesperson. The first things we did was decide what my needs were and he then promptly got me one to test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the tech features in the vehicle (the first car salesman I ever met who actually understood the importance of good tech in a car). He did not begin to cry or sour up when I told him that I would not drive it home that day but would instead return "when i am ready". A week later I drove home a brand new XC90, and we love it. It is an amazing vehicle with awesome tech and convenience features at a great price, my only complaint is that I have to pour a dangerously flammable liquid into it in order to drive (what a concept eh?). My other car is an all electric Tesla Model 3, so I have very high standards for technology in the car.
Great Service. Raymond explained service and repair options. Was helpful in showing me how to work things in the car. Service was timely, no waiting. Shuttle to the mall gave me something to do while the car was being serviced. Pricing was acceptable for a dealership expertise, and that means a lot.
One of the best car buying experience that ever had with Dyer & Dyer Volvo
Great customer service.
Friendly, professional and honest staff. Very easy to work with. I really appreciated our sales representative Allen's ability to handle all aspects of the car buying experience well from vehicle features to financing. Great experience!!!
I had stopped by to look at the new S60 T6 R-Design and got to work with Clark. Clark was excellent, very down to earth, no pressure, and let me annoy the hell out of him through text when the mood struck me. I went with the Care by Volvo program, and chose them as my delivery dealer. The delivery process was very smooth, they gave me a fair offer for my car, and the Care paperwork processing time was very quick. I will definitely list them as my delivery dealer when I order my new one in 12 months!
I came in for my 40,000-mile maintenance. I was told it would not take long. I ended up staying at the dealership for more than 5 hours. I received no explanation for the delay. The waiting room didn't have enough chairs. The wifi was inconsistent. Two employees were loudly arguing with each other in the waiting area about another employee's performance. On top of all that, the work cost more than $1,000. I'll never return to this dealership again.
Great experience everytime
I love the car, and when all was said and done, I bought it for a price that was in line with the KBB fair market value. The only issue was that I feel misled about the Catalytic Converter. The check engine light came on before I could drive it home. The mechanic that checked it out does not believe it was replaced as the salesman told me it was.
Our service specialist (Kenneth) was great. He was knowledgeable of all aspect of the S60. The staff was very polite and courtesy and attentive. Definitely will be returning for all of my car care needs.
I was searching for a used vehicle for my wife and I. Dyer & Dyer Volvo was the first stop on my shopping day. I was there at 8:30AM and met Allen Friedman who was very helpful. Like any diligent shopper, I felt I had to do more looking around, which I did. After several hours and miles of driving around, I ended up back at Dyer & Dyer with Allen Friedman who I purchased a vehicle from that afternoon. I highly recommend this dealership and feel confident in doing so.
Our experience was terrific with Charles. Honestly the quickest, most helpful experience we’ve ever had purchasing a car.
This dealership is the absolutely worst!! Used sales department! Rob Ritterner and his manager Roman! I want response from there owner!! First of all i called Rob on Saturday to ask if the Acura 2010 tsx was available to see and test drive he assured me it was ready ! I was out of town on vacation . I get to Dyer and Dyer Volvo the car was in the shop being painted and wasnt ready for show, i wasted my time to come out there! And then Rob and his manger Norman try’s to sell me a 2007 Acura TSX ! And o told them i wanted to see the Acura 2010 tsx unbelievable rip off place ! I had cash to pay the car off !! I guess they don’t want my business!! Owners contact me ASAP !!
Zon helped me out. Very polite and responsive online, helped me a lot because I am not native speaker. The manager was polite and made his price too. Although not made the deal but a good experience.
Sid the salesman was friendly and nice. Roman the GM, I'm unsure about him. Well I'm late with this review, but I was sold a car by them and in the first week it was making a weird noise off and on. I took it back to them and the mechanic said there wasn't anything noticeable, so I took it back home. Five months after purchase the car stopped in the middle of traffic. I took it back to them and was told by a mechanic that they only work on Volvo's, (even though the car was purchased there).
Our sales rep Clark couldn't be a better guy. He was professional and respectful while we went through the process of learning about our options. Once we decided to buy (and the back office began the paperwork process) we had some time to get to know him better, learning all the more what a good, solid and interesting guy he is. This made us even happier about our decision. Kudos to you Dyer and Dyer for having Clark on your team.
I went in there for the V90 Cross Country and couldn’t have been happier. Allan took care of me and had me driving different engine types to get an idea of what I wanted. No pressure gimmicks or anything. Denton and Allan worked great as a team and got me all the information I asked for and did the paperwork quickly. I had a great experience in there and I left impressed. Also, love my new V90!
I was happy w the car, negotiation process and the value of the deal I received. However, after scheduling an 11:00 am appointment to take delivery of my vehicle, I had to wait more than an hour to begin the transaction process. This caused me to cancel work-related and personal events.
Buying your first car is a milestone in life that should remembered forever. One would think this would be a positive experience, but Dyer and Dyer proved that to be absolutely untrue. The purchase was made after a month and a half long search, BMW not Volvo, that looked perfect inside and out. Everything was smooth sailing until the ride home when the car did not shift smoothly. Of course, this was not realized during the test drive because it was a predetermined route that only allowed a certain speed to be reached (30 mph max). Hoping that it would be a simple fix, the car was taken to be checked out and I was immediately advised to take the car back to the dealership. The transmission was absolutely shot. I find it very hard to believe that the dealership was unaware of the condition to this seemingly "perfect" car responding in disbelief after telling them the transmission was bad. Needless to say, the car was returned... and myself never to return. Save yourself the time and emotions and buy elsewhere.
My wife just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Santa fe. She had a great experience with the salesman. They said the car has no problems perfect car. Well She brought it home that night and in the garage. Turned out had a major oil leak. all on our garage Floor. So she called the salesman ASAP and he said bring it and well take care of it. So i took it back took missed day of from work. Got There At 9:00am waited 5 hrs. For pretty much nothing. I had to leave- I said we will drop if off saturday. So we did. Got a call following Wednesday turns out has Major leak from Transmission seal or something they said, They took it to Hyundai. They called us back and said it will Cost 1200 dollars but they will split the cost? I was like your kidding. So we have to pay something that was already there. If we would have know it, would have not bought the car. But my wife is a girl and used car salesman, I dont even want to say it. What really makes me upset he told her any problems call me back and we will take care of it. (THATS A LIE) and well did not do anything except tells we can fix it but you got to pay for it. This dealership does not stand behind what they sale. I have an attached picture. so I demanded to talk to a manger. (GOT NOWHERE) he said well all used cars are not perfect. Yea but when you tell my wife theres no problem with the car. Get home and this. Oil Leak is pretty major, not a dent or broken lighter in the car. OIL LEAK!! Very Obvious I have pic to show. Basically They really dont care Just want to sell the car. and move on. MY Wife paid Cash for the car. 11,500 CASH. After this experience. So yes Me and wife got screwed on a pre existing the the car had and they said there mechanics checked it over, not sure where these mechanics got there credentials. And Now without a Car for who knows how long, Did not even offer a Courtesy car. Im not a mechanic And when they told us no problems with car . I trusted what they said , Saw that night major leak and SO OBVIOUS. Just wish I was there when she got and looked under it, to SEE THIS LEAK. Would have not bought the Car. but If i would of said something they would of then offered to fix it then.
Sid Randjbar and the folks at Dyer and Dyer Volvo are great to deal with. They worked to beat any local deals I could find and as a result I drove 250 miles to purchase my truck from them. I would happily work with Sid and Roman again.
The only reason I am giving this car dealership 2 stars is based on the experience I had with Sid the car salesman. Roman the GM is the definition of a scum salesman. He added items to my sales order in hopes I didn’t see it, he tried to low ball me for my trade in. I was sold a car that had a dead battery which was somewhat understandable if a car has been sitting. What I was upset about was that they promised me that the car went through their inspection with no issues, so on top of the bad battery there was a blown speaker, a chip in the windshield and things falling from out under the steering that was taped. I would recommend you buy your car somewhere else, if you insist to purchase here I would highly recommend Sid; he is a salesman with ethics and we all know salesmen and ethics don’t mix!
This Volvo dealership is THE BEST! I bought my car from them less than a year ago and it was time for my maintenance check up. I live in North Carolina and drove 300+ miles to go back to them. The dealerships in North Carolina (RTP area) close on Saturday so it was awesome that they open on weekends. They fixed my busted tire (which I got only a few miles away from Dyer and Dyer :( ), gave me a loaner car while I waited and was super friendly. Doug was the man that helped me and he was GREAT. They have been excellent from the sales department to the service floor. Highly recommend.
Excellent service and dealership. I had a very good experience with the purchase of my new Volvo XC60. Sid and Marcus and the entire team were great. Thanks for making my first Volvo purchase a memorable one.
These guys did a great job. My car came from a Volvo dealer in New Jersey who did a pretty poor job with some stuff. In spite of the fact that they hadn't sold me the car, these guys really stepped up, explaining what needed explaining, and fixing what needed fixing. They went above and beyond...especially Alan and Terrence.
Chris Shaive was so professional and made everything so easy. I appreciated the financial advise and setting up for driving down to see the car.
We were there for 3 hours on Monday Memorial Day. There were only 2 customers in the waiting room. Is wasn't a busy day because we noticed many employees just walking with nothing to do. We made an appointment with SIMPLE things to be repaired but we still waited 3.5 hours. That's ridiculous.
New to town!!! Excellent service by our sales person Allan, along with friendly and knowledgeable staffs in a neatly set up showroom, will definitely buy again from Dyer Volvo.
Easily the best experience I have ever had at any car dealership. I have already recommended to multiple friends.
Fraudulent, dishonest. I am Active duty military drove 7 hrs to purchase a new 2019 XC90. I signed a offer stating that I would title and register the vehicle myself in Oregon as an out of state oregon resident. Apparently the dealer slipped in $500 in documentary fees without me noticing and had me esign a different document that did not line up with the deal I agreed to. The sales Manager then told me Volvo does not allow them to release MCO to me in order to title and register it. This is a complete fabrication as currently Dyer and Dyer has no claim to the vehicle since my bank has paid them and the vehicle is in my posession. My bank has also issued them written notification to release the titlework to me. As of now the state of Oregon has not recieved any title work and Dyer and Dyer is refusing to refund me the taxes I paid to them that they will not pay to the state of Oregon. They want me to pay them more despite already charging me a $500 doc fee. They are also refusing to release any title work to allow me to title/register the vehicle. I cannot recommend this dealership in any capacity at this time.
I had an opportunity to arrive 30 minutes earlier than my appointment. Kenneth immediately saw me and started the work on my car. He told me approximate times to inspect and do the work if needed. He held true to the times. He came out to keep me updates, explaining the process in terms I could understand and happily answered all of my questions. Thanks Kenneth and Dyer and Dyer.
Don’t get turned away by the dealership’s older and renovation needed facility/building - Our shopping experience was outstanding because of Ben - he was friendly and helpful, most importantly very knowledgeable and patient. We’ve been to BMW, Audi and Lexus, while most of the sales reps were friendly, they were not knowledgeable of their products - primarily because we did extensive research on every car we looked into and most of the reps knew less than us, except Ben. We came an hour before their closing hour and the entire team, including Ben’s boss, Rome and another gentleman, seemed to be in charge of the place were very patient and accommodating, despite that they had to keep the facility open for an hour after their closing hour. We did experience some hiccups during the lease signing part, but it was resolved at the end. Overall, we strongly recommend Dyer & Dyer Volvo, if you are looking to buy or lease a Volvo, and ask for Ben!
Bought a used car from Dyer and Dyer. Nicest, most helpful car dealership I have ever been at in over 30 years of buying cars. Rob Bittner was an awesome sales guy. So comfortable and confident in his brand that he didn't need to be pushy. And Denton the Business Manager was a great guy to work with. I had never thought about buying a Volvo before, but now thanks to these guys I definitely will! Great Service, Great staff!
They take great care of my car
Have had the pleasure of buying a car here twice in the past 15 years. Highly recommend salesman Allan Friedman.
It being a good experience so far they need to add vacuum with the service overall I'm satisfied.
