Wasted my time driving there from Tampa just for the salesman to tell me the car I was interested was sold already. Then he tried to sell me a Kia which I was already trying to trade in a Kia. The salesman could've had me do the credit app and finance stuff online instead of wasting my time and gas.

the 2013 Optima steering wheel started making clicking noses Monday after work. Had no noise before then. Call Monday but the service was closed. Called Tuesday morning and spoke to a service representative. The appointment was made quickly; the next day, Wednesday. Took the car in and found the steering problem was on a recall. The service representative also noted that there was a second recall. Both were done at the same time. There was no charge except for the difference between the regular oil change and the full synthetic oil. A reasonable charge since KIA would not pay for the full synthetic oil. the oil change had to be done since the second recall was on a problem with the engine. This is the first time I have use Dyer KIA. Used the previous owner, McGuire KIA, with very bad results. I never went back to McGuire. McGuire sold the dealership to Dyer some time ago. Would not have gone to Dyer except the problem could not be handled by my regular service company. I am satisfied with the work done by Dyer, but it is too early to tell if the repairs work correctly.

Ron was fantastic throughout the entire process - sending me pictures, paperwork, responding to emails and text messages and calling when necessary to keep me informed and to give me the confidence in the vehicle I needed since I hadn't seen it in person. He was very patient with me and provided great service beyond my purchase, to make sure I knew what was going on with the shipping of the vehicle and everything. Purchased a new Kia in October 2017. Needless to say it was not a good experience. Poor communication from sales staff and basically being treated like a number. In fact they also hid an extended service contract in our contract even when we specifically stated we did not want to purchase one. We continued to get our service done, due to Jim, who is a great service manager. When Jim heard we were close to purchasing another new Kia at another dealership, he jumped into action explaining that the sales staff up front has gone through some changes and they have "cleaned house".. Although we tested a new Kia at another dealership, because of our previous poor experience at McGuire, we took Jim up on his advice to try the sales department at McGuire again. Needless to say, we experienced ineffective communication and also received a text message made in poor taste by a salesperson named Tony. McGuire did not deliver on making our next experience a better one. Especially since they claimed they were going to "make it right" this time. We also stalled on the Kia we liked at another dealership and lost out on that deal, which was far better than the one that got pushed on us at McGuire. So now we are starting over again. Although Jim and his service staff are top notch, we have decided to not even return for service on our current Kias. We wont spend another dime at this dealership. There have been no improvements to the way the sales department treats people.

We bought our Kia at the other location which gave us free oil changes. We chose this place now that we moved to Del Webb because of location. The service manager went above and beyond to meet us and make us feel like family. They called us when our recall parts came in. No they don't have a fancy massage chair or big screen TV to watch however listening to others talk in the waiting my family treatment was felt by all.

Terrible service went twice for same problem they said nothing is wrong with it yet it stall out twice check engine light was on than went off told me nothing was wrong with it they don't seem to actually care not sure if I'm the only one with service issues but if so let it be service and the techs got no idea what the hell their doing they never change the cabin filter and and air filter they were both extremely dirty full with dog hair and bugs than the service manager had the nerve to tell me it was clean they wouldn't have change it my husband a mechanic he said he would always change the filters if there dirty he look at the filters up at the light told me it was over due to change them so if the service manager said it was clean my husband told me differ he personally saw the filters I'm sorry but never will I buy a car at Dyer kia they don't care I know it horrible but just don't want other to get screwed as bad I did plus they never fixed the problem with my car they said it was fine but it has a long start at times so they just don't know what their doing nobody there does

BEWARE.......they attempted to do a "bait and switch" on a car we had agreed on based on the information that was on THEIR website! The "ad" on THEIR website stated this particular car had 11 miles on it, and it was an "Internet Special" for $23,771. After exchanging some e-mails and a couple of phone calls, we agreed on an "Out the Door" price for that vehicle. After my wife and I drove over an hour to the agreed meeting place to take delivery of the car, we are told that the car has 4,248 miles on it...........NOT 11 miles as advertised on THEIR website. When I asked them to make an "adjustment" to the agreed price based on the fact that the car did not have just 11 miles on it, but had 4,248 miles, they refused to offer any level of compensation......even after we had driven over an hour to get to the delivery location!!!! I have a printed copy of the page from their website stating the car had 11 miles on it, but they could care less. They told us they don't maintain their website, but they pay someone else to do that, but THEY are or should be, responsible for the content of that website. Maybe they should have "fined" the company they use to maintain their website and used some of that to have offered us a new deal based on the vehicle having 4,248 miles on it!! I am a 27 year veteran of the US Army (retired as a CW4), and I warn all veterans to take their business elsewhere. Dyer is NOT where you want to purchase a car!!

Bad customer service in the SALES dept. I called, submitted all my info to try to get financed on a 2011 Kia Sedona. I was communicating with a sales person by the name of Brooke. After she received my info, she never messaged me again. Good customer service would be returning a call even if you were unable to get a customer in a car. Never heard another word from her. Two days later, I called to speak to a manager to inquire about what happened.... He had me resubmit my info because they "never received it" the 1st time. Resubmitted, confirmed they received it, wait 8 hours & never heard a word. I reached out an hour before closing time & they said they were "still working on it".... Here we are 4 days later (Again) and not a word! And this time the manager dropped the ball. I can only think 2 things here: they are not interested in helping people with less than perfect credit OR they have SOOOOO MUCH business that they do not need to make new sales & they do not care about receiving bad reviews. Buyer Beware!

My visit was due to the first oil change on my new car. Everyone was very courteous and the car was ready when they said it would be. My car was washed and vacuumed when I stepped in to drive away. The facility was brand new and very well done. There is but one entrance to the new facility, which I drove by thinking it was an entrance for only the used car lot. I must admit after I drove by I did see a sign saying enter here, but too late to react.

Took my wife's 2018 Kia stinger for an oil change, and right off the bat the front desk at the service department welcomed us with a friendly greeting and wanted to assist us right away. They informed me of a update for her car and quoted me 2 hours for the oil change and the update. My wife and I went to eat breakfast and I received a call before the 2 hour quote saying the car was finished. When we returned they walked me out to the car and made sure it was to our liking and they even detailed the whole car for us. I definitely recommend this dealer ship to anyany looking for a friendly and stress free place to take your vehicle.

Disregard any good deals on new cars on there website.They can't and won't explain all the assorted disclaimers for the incentives on new cars.They can't give you any kind of price you would have to pay with incentives IF you are eligible for them.On top of all that they actually can't find the particular cars you're interested in that have all the Incentives.they are not on the lot.The 2 new cars I was interested in,they eventually figured out that they lent them out as loaners.(Not on Lot).Also told me that when it returns in a week,that it wouldn't have the 10 year/100,000 warranty in effect because they lent it out and it has mileage on it. WOWWWW What will they come up with next week when it is supposed to be returned to the dealership .Not hanging around to find out,I've seen and heard enough.Classic bait and switch!!!!!!! Good Luck

We were able to come to a win-win agreement and I purchased the vehicle I was originally interested in buying. Tony, Victor, and the staff I dealt with were all professional and courteous. Stopped in on my way to avon park to see 1 car on 11/03/18. I asked for a price - they sent out the finance guy to run my credit. Never provided price. Will not return. Each time your credit is run, your score takes a hit. I was preapproved my credit union and relayed that information.

They are liars and cheats. When we purchased our new car we purchased from this dealership. The deal was they were going to pay off our final lease payment on the car which we leased from them three years prior. Paying off the lease is common practice for a dealer to get a new sale. They Owe us over $718. We visited the dealership and talked to them via phone many times and they agreed that they owe us the money however We had to pay the lease of ourselves. We will never buy another car at this dealership or any other dealership of the same Dyer name. We would recommend that you never buy a vehicle from them either. This is what gives the car industry a bad name . Dealerships like this should not be in business.

I was interested in a Ford Focus they had, I had been emailing a gentleman from their other dealership, who was very helpful(Ray) about the vehicle as I was extremely interested and was ready to make a purchase with a check in hand. We drove more than an hour for this vehicle, got there and was accommodated because we arrived late. After driving it we sat down with Mike, to start paperwork, before we got too far we wanted to know what the price out the door would be. Once getting the price we proceeded to try negotiating some(as everyone does at a dealership) and got shut down right away. The salesman made the comment "that we must live on an Indian reservation" several times. Which was very rude and discriminatory. I cant understand exactly what he meant by this, apparently negotiating is something only done on reservations? He wasn't having it though, and we ended up walking out after driving over an hour. I have never been to a dealership where there wasn't room for any kind of negotiating. I have never felt so talked down to. I am aware that we arrived late, but I made it very clear that was the case. Maybe they just didn't want to stay after closing. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Awful Dealership, Awful Practices and So help me I will find every outlet possible to let people know what they are all about. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE IDIOTS! I only *tried* to get mine checked out (oil, filters etc..wasn't completely done btw) then a FULL DETAIL, Dumbasses couldn't do that right (note here: They gave me the detail "Free" as they screwed up BADLY the first time I went in)Went in today and The car now has a lovely scratch on the back panel that wasn't there before..and the inside was NOT scrubbed down..a little vacuum here and there..I left a couple things on purpose to see if they would even be cleaned..Nope ..I cannot even imagine how awful it would be to actually buy something from these wads. RUN!

I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from Dyer Kia about a week and a half ago. They had a great selection of inventory and fair prices and more than fair trade-in offer. Ron Wagner did a fantastic job to match me with the vehicle I was hoping for and the finance department was great at getting me the best possible financing with a payment that I can afford. The process was comfortable and at no point did I feel that anyone was being pushy.

The staff at McGuire Kia in Lake Wales always welcome me like family - the ones that you like if you know what I mean ;-). They are thorough and the keep you informed along the way. I was very disappointed when I drove past because it was hella ghetto compared to my KIA dealership. Even the drive up to the service port was very lacking. I only went in for my scheduled maintenance and a check engine light so I said, why not. I should have gotten the names of the svc advisors that took care of me because they did a very good job. Everything was clearly explained and they all went above and beyond answering every question. I need to go back because they didn't have a part but I don't mind because I trust them thoroughly.

Absolutely wonderful customer service at Kia in Lake Wales, FL, from the service techs, the salesmen, it has always been a pleasure working with Rodney Basinger and Bobby Ruiz...Had car vacuumed, and washed after oil change, slight problem with vacuum job was there was still some bits of paper on the front floor, and windshield on outside wasn't cleaned, still had residue above the windshield wipers, but that's minute, and it was a courtesy. I went to Dyer Kia on Friday, June 28, 2019 to test drive two vehicles, a 2020 Kia Soul and a 2019 Kia Forte. I had made an appointment with one of their sales representatives, Brook Dlugokecki and she greeted me as soon as I arrived at the dealership and asked me how I was doing and if I wanted anything to drink as she showed me to my seat. She had already pulled the information on the two vehicles that I wanted to test drive and after she had gathered some personal information from me concerning my wants and needs in a new vehicle as well as listening to me explain that I currently had a 2017 leased vehicle from another manufacturer and that I still had five more lease payments to make before I could lease another vehicle. I told her that I had been doing research for the past year on various vehicles that I was interested in for my next lease and that the two that I was there to test drive were near the top of my wish list. After driving both of the vehicles I determined that my choice between the two was going to be the Kia Soul LX. I had not intended to lease a vehicle before my current lease was finished, however, Brook informed me that Dyer Kia could buy my current lease and pay it off and that I would not owe anything else on that vehicle. She then did the math on the Soul and the Forte that I had test driven and after conferring with the sales manager, she was able to get my deal on the 2020 Kia Soul LX finalized at a very attractive out-the-door price that I was glad to accept. Brook walked me through the entire process and then took me to finalize the paperwork with the finance manager and I have to say that the whole negotiation was effortless and very straight forward and was completed and I was leaving with my "new" Kia Soul in less than two hours! I have to say that everyone at Dyer Kia bent over backwards to make sure that I was satisfied, they answered all of my questions and I feel like I made the right choice in coming to Dyer Kia for my new lease deal. Kudos to Brook Dlugokecki, she is knowledgeable, very professional and she went out of her way to make sure that I left the dealership feeling great! I will be sure to recommend Brook and Dyer Kia to all of my friends and neighbors. I need to add a postscript, I returned to the dealership today, Monday June 30, 2019 and Brook took time out of her busy schedule to help my link-up my cell phone to blue tooth and set up my Android Auto system on my new Kia. I would like to tell you about this dealership, But first : FYI -- Due to my age and some health problems I moved in with my son and daughter-in-law in their home in Davenport in July of 2018, from my home in Arcadia. Along about November of 2018, I decided it was time to say so long to my 2004 Ford Ranger. I do not like the new Ranger, and did not want a full-size truck, so the F-150 was out. I knew I could have received a good deal in Arcadia, but could not see driving 90 miles down to there. I had started researching Chevy Colorados, and one day this really pretty red 2016 Colorado popped up on my screen, an ad from Dyer Chevy. Having had grown up in a small town, and then living in rural DeSoto County for 30 years, I had heard many stories about Big City Dealers and shady deals, but I called and spoke to a salesman by the name of Davis Dlugokecki anyway; he seemed pretty straight-forward, so the next day I went to look at it. Davis came out to show me the truck. As we were talking, his sister, Brook, came out, we were introduced, then to my surprise, his Dad, David, came out and welcomed me to the dealership. Davis was very honest - there were a couple of minor items wrong with the truck, but he pointed them out to me. I was very impressed with his honesty; we struck a deal, I went back the next day and drove the truck home. My daughter-in-law has been wanting to upgrade her car, and likes the looks of the Kia Sorento, so earlier this week, after having my truck serviced at Dyer Chevy, I went over to look at the Kia. Talked with Brook - she now works at their Kia facility, she showed me a few cars my daughter-in-law might be interested in, DIL and I went there the next day, came home with a new Sorento. We actually caught them at a busy time --- It was moving day into their new building, but it did not stop Brook from giving us her full attention. It really surprised me that Brooks' Dad, David, came over to greet us when we drove in. David is actually the General Manager of both dealerships, was outside moving cars and putting up signs, but cared enough about us as customers to take a few minutes to come greet us. I realize this is a very long review, but I needed to write about my experiences with both Dyer Chevy and Dyer Kia. I was really apprehensive about a Big City dealer, but I needed to let everyone know about the honesty, friendliness, and feeling of being part of the Dyer Dealership Family. I highly recommend Dyer to everybody --- at least stop in and give them a shot at your next vehicle. I know you will be as surprised and pleased as my family and I were. I did make the appointment for my Kia Roof Stripes to be installed and i had the first appointment of that day. Actually they drove me home and when they finished the job they came back to my house and picked me up. They also washed my car and vacuumed it out. I was one happy camper!!! Every time I had to go to the Kia Dealer since I purchased my 2014 Kia (brand new) I have had excellent treatment from all concerned. I really appreciate all the workers and if I ever decide to purchase a new Kia it will be at Dyer. You are the best!! However, I love my Kia Soul and hope it runs forever!!

The prices listed online are not accurate. In my experience they knowingly added over $3,000 to the price of the vehicle over what their internet price was listed at. And we're unwilling to match the price they had on the internet even after I showed them the price on their own website. Their response was that that's how they have to Market to compete with other dealers. Or you can do what I did go to the other dealer and buy the car.

No appointment, went there to check and see if my warranty covered a repair for a problem trunk lock for a 2017 KIA Forte. Service advisor was courteous and told me I could wait till someone could look at it. Offered a loaner in case this was a problem. I said I would wait. This dealer has a nice waiting area and coffee. As promised, the advisor spoke to me, advised me of the problem, confirmed it was covered under warranty. I expected to make an appointment for a future date but advisor told me they could do it today if I was willing to wait. I agreed, and the repair was carried out, no cost to me, and I was on my way within about an hour. Very good experience.

All I have to say is God bless Mr. David D, and his entire staff. I had a nightmare of an experience on November 19th 2016 when I pulled into McGuire Kia which was the name at the time....as my husband was in the hospital dying and on a heart transplant list. I left Cleveland Clinic hospital in Broward County and drove to our home in Lake Wales to get more clothes and look for a dependable vehicle, because I was told that if a heart didn't come in the following day there would still be a surgery and he would have an LVAD, left ventricular assist device put back in his heart. The drive is approximately three hours and I cried the entire way thinking of all that was ahead of us. To make a long story short I was treated so poorly and unethically. I did indeed get a new vehicle not the one I asked to see but was talked into a lease car. The next morning we had prayers answered and a miracle was granted! My husband received a new heart! When he was well enough, I showed him the paperwork from the transaction and we spoke about the new car. With great disdain in our hearts we avoided the Kia dealership like the plague. Then last year we wanted to try and turn in the vehicle, so we called and explained our dilemma and was told to come in and that they were going to give us a deal that we couldn't refuse based on our prior experience. We drove from our new home over two hours away only to learn that there was no way that they would do anything for us. So, needless to say we give up 100%, never to return and we would have to look at a car that brought back so many bad memories...it was a albatross in our lives. Then, like a true blessing from God Himself, I received an email from Mr. David Dlugokecki the new General Manager wanting to talk. Thank God for this amazing man that is on a mission to make things right for the Dyer family! My husband and I walked into the place that was like a nightmare and as we stepped foot into the showroom, there was a peace that came over us, and it felt like the demons of the past were gone! We were given undivided attention and met some of the new employees like Bobby Ruis and Ronald Wagner, and we truly know that this was a divine appointment. Mr. D as he is known, took it upon himself to graciously take our vehicle back and made it a financial win for us. Thank God for Mr. D, and all his efforts because I know they will pay off. We pray bountiful blessings upon Mr. D, his family, and his career, and may his business flourish exponentially. Finally a car dealership that operates with solid ethics, and with an entire staff that are of the same mindset, motivation, and attitude to make a difference and build an extended family so that when someone wants or needs another vehicle they go back to the place that they trust, and where that place stands on what is right and just. Trust is everything, and in today's world, this is huge! When you are so blessed to find a business that runs on solid ethics, and all things that are right and just, you need to hold onto them and support them to the enth degree. I went to the dealer to fix a recall for FREE. Then they did a 20 pt inspection of my car and showed me dirty air filters since I have allergies I said change them. This cost $88 dollars! The kicker was a charge off $45 dollars labor fee for changing 2 air filters! I call that OBSCENE!

Got a Kia Soul which I love last week from here. The 4 stars is because we saw a car we wanted online from here that was advertised as an automatic. But when we got there it was a manual. We ended up getting an automatic but it was quite a bit more than we had planned to pay. Our sales rep, James Saltzberry was great, easy to talk to, listened well and helped us to get a good deal on another car. We felt good with our experience there, including the final paperwork process which was amazingly fast! If not for the misleading error online, I would have given them 5 stars. Be sure to ask before you drive there!

This is the second car I have bought from here and this time around I was very happy. Richy was amazing she walked me through the whole process and features of the car and never once did she make me feel pressured to commit to something I was uncomfortable with unlike my first experience it was very smooth and pleasant. My only complaint was I was paying cash for my car and when talking to the finance guy he tried and tried to convince me to finance the car instead of paying cash this made me a little uncomfortable and finally had to tell him no this is the way I want to proceed, he got a little upset about that and it showed. Other than that I was very happy and have had a follow up call from Richy wishing me a Happy Birthday and seeing if I had any questions. She in my opinion is the absolute best Salesperson I have ever encountered!!! She will be the one I turn to for all my car buying needs.

This was an all out spiffy experience. I Leased my first Kia in St. Pete 4 years ago, what a nightmare, the salesman kept trying to sell me a car I couldn't afford. I spent 6 hours trying to tell him no and eventually left. I did go back and buy a car with a reasonable payment. Then I moved and my Kia needed work, so I brought it to Allen Jay in Sebring...horrible experience, I had to bring it back four times, and they kept complaining that I needed a car to drive. They wanted me to drop it off, and just go sit at home while they worked on it, like I don't have a job?? When my lease was up a few days ago, I went to the next closest location in Lake wales at Dyer Kia. I have never had such great service. They were fast and efficient, they didn't try to sell my a crazy car I couldn't afford, they listened to the number I could afford and worked with me. I ended up with a new car that is totally gangster. The whole process was great. Special thanks to Melvin and Bobby for helping me out!
