Unique car went on sale Friday 08/23, called to schedule an appointment same day at 2:30 pm, 2 hours prior received a call asking not to come because the car needed the A/C fixed. I was then promised a text or call with an update to see and purchase the car. Received an update on Saturday via text that the car was still being serviced and that I couldn’t see nor purchase the vehicle. Called on Sunday and was told the vehicle didn’t pass inspection and was sold to a wholesaler, when I ask how can I get in contact with that wholesaler was transferred to a manager (Nancy)that actually told me the car was sold on Friday 08/23. Very confused at this point explained Nancy all the events that took place and expressed my dissatisfaction given I was told the car wasn’t available to see nor to purchase. Her explanation was that the person I was dealing with was from a outside company and that I should have called them directly. My feedback was to pick their vendors more carefully given that is creating confusion and customer dissatisfaction and that I was clearly going to share my experience online. At this point decided to accept reality and keep on looking for the same car (took me 8 months to find this specific car in this condition, car is meant for recreational purposes and has an emotional meaning to me ) However I have decided to spend the last 20 minutes writing this complaint because I received a call from Tony (used car sales manager) who called back after my conversation with Nancy. He asked for a description of what happened, he then informed me that the car was sold and delivered on Friday. He never once apologized for the terrible customer service and lack of communication and basically told me that car was sold. I told Tony that unfortunately I was going to have to share my feedback with other consumers and then he threatened me to look me up and leave me negative reviews. When an employee of such a large company who apparently does a good job at providing clients with a good experience threatens you it is very concerning. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I am very disappointed, insulted and concerned that someone can operate under a corporation and is personally intending to look for me and give me negative reviews.

Unfortunately they sold me a used car with suspension issues that they say would get fixed. I took their word for it. Still hearing rattles/knocks whenever I go over a tiny bump in the road. Asked them to fix it and they said they will not be making anymore fixes to to vehicle. What else can I do?

Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda is one of the nicest dealerships i have dealt with in 35+ years of driving. Valerie, the Service Representative greeted me with a smile & proceeded to make me feel right at home. This was an unplanned visit as the 2007 Honda Odyssey, which had been sitting for a while, needed a jump to get the battery to start the engine. I drove there without an Appointment. In just under 1 1/2 hrs, Honda tech replaced the warranted battery and i was on my way. Valerie went over some additional services based on mileage & last time the vehicle was in, yet in a low key approach. The Service waiting area is very comfortable with different options from watching TV to sitting at a table working on your own computer device. Very friendly staff. Thank you Valerie and the Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda staff. I left with the problem solved and an appreciation for a staff that prides itself in being Customer Friendly.

From the test drive to the delivery has gone as perfect as I could have hoped for. I was very surprised to find they had tinted the windows and installed wheel locks which I had planned to do. Tony the sales manager was awesome. Very Good guy, courteous, respectful, and goes above and beyond for his customers. He went out of his way to find out the details of a vehicle that I was interested in which could not be located and went ahead and walked the entire lot in an attempt to find the vehicle. Turns out the vehicle was pending sale but Tony provided additional options to what my needs were and made the sale. Unlike Others who just provided the wrong direction and provided no concern for the customers needs. Members of management should have better concerns...... All in all my experience turned from horrible to awesome cause “My son Loved” the vehicle Tony offered. Thank you Tony, I appreciate everything you did!

I reviewed this place a few months ago and initially gave them 5 stars. Well that was before I had my car for 3 months. My car is in horrible condition and they sold it to me for more than 2x what it’s worth. I’m single and know nothing about cars or car dealerships. They did not let me test drive the car, which I thought was really strange, but for some reason I still trusted the dealer. My car doors were all coming off on the inside a month after I bought the car. My bumper is coming off and when I called about it, Mike, (the same guy that sold me the car) told me I’d have to pay for them to fix it and he’d call back with a price. This was the week that I bought the car. I had to go back 3x to redo paper work because they kept refinancing my car. My credit had a total of 14 hard inquiries from them constantly checking my credit to keep refinancing it. My credit score dropped. This is the second time I’ve gotten screwed by a car dealership in Florida. Long story short I will be taking a man, or mechanic with me the next time I buy a car. The only thing ok with this car is that it’s pretty good on gas. I’m now currently looking into getting a lawyer. Please, refrain from buying a car here. And if you do, be sure to know about cars or take someone who does. And if you are a woman, DO NOT GO ALONE!

After having a not so good experience at Ocean Honda with the service manager “only” everyone else was great. I went to Courtesty Honda Palm Harbor and dealt with Doug and James. Both were truly professional and help me get my car traded in at a fair price and in a brand new Honda Civic EX hatchback. My wife and I went there Sunday at 12:15. Met for the first time, Luis Serrano. He was very informative. I mentioned to him that our intent was to get the lowest payment possible because I was I'll now. He showed us a civic. We liked it. After the test drive, I told Luis I was feeling bad and had to leave.He said if we can stay 5 more minutes, he would have no.s ready. (I think he forgot,or didn't care about how I'll I told him I was.) He got the vin off my car,and I gave him my payoff info, and left. He said he would e-mail info to me. Don't know how, but he got the wrong info. Nobody e-mailed, or called. I called Palm Harbor Honda at 4:45. Operator said Luis had left but she would give manager my message, so he could get me the no.s. He didn't. Monday morning I called dealer and asked for Luis. He said he couldn't get the no.s where I wanted them. (So I guess I wasn't going to hear back.) He called me back 1 Hr later with a 395.00 monthly payment on a advertised 229.00 Lease. He saw, and got the info off my car, but the estimate had the car owner and color wrong.. Long story short, I won't deal there..

Also the place is super clean they have a good variation of free snacks which is a nice touch i have to appreciate. I arrive early for my service appointment. My car was ready at 10:38 however, I wasn't notified until 11:50.. I was in the waiting area for the whole time with the exception of a 5 min trip to the rest room. I sat at the only table, before moving over to a chair directly behind the individual that checked me out. I was informed that they were looking all over for me, yet I wasn't 10 yards away. I am hearing impaired, so I pay very close attention. Representative did call me on my home phone. While driving home I passed to other Honda Dealers. I would expect that they would be more cognizant of customer service.

Who likes car shopping? ....NO ONE. However, if you want a new car, this is a necessary evil. I did loads of research & spent hours at another dealership prior to arriving at Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda. I was all set to drive from St Pete to Brandon (they have a rep for having the highest inventory), but their reviews are terrible. Thanks to the reviews, I chose Courtesy Palm Harbor. I drove the 35 minutes up to Palm Harbor on a Sunday & met Mick as soon as I stepped out of my car. He wasn’t pushy, was pretty laid back for a car salesman & showed me exactly what I asked for. Mick even humored me & showed me the exact same duplicate car I had just test drove, so I could choose between the 2 identical cars. The negotiating process is the absolutely annoying part of a car purchase. Tony (sales manager) and Mick worked to come to a mutual agreement between us all for the sale price & after some frustration, anger, and calming down... 5 hours later, we all came out happy. The financial manager even got me a great interest rate (better than my own credit union) & worked through the paperwork in a surprisingly timely manner. Mick even helped me sync my phone with the car & set up some basic features in my new HRV. I love my new car & greatly appreciated the follow up phone call from Tony a few days later to iron out a few last minute questions/concerns. Also, service prices can’t be beat, so I’ll be doing the 30 minute drive back up to Palm Harbor for oil changes & in 8-10 years when I’ve recovered from this negotiating process, I’ll be back to Courtesy for another car.

Greg was my service advisor and does a great job at reviewing my emergency service (tire) as well as reviewing my current service records. During the review he noted my maintenance program, and included the tire rotation and oil change-filter, plus complimentary car wash with yesterday’s emergency tire service. As it was a busy day after the Labor Day Holiday, I was delighted that Greg was able to schedule me in yesterday. In addition to the service, I asked him about sizes for the SUV’s . Especially if you’ve gone elsewhere, and you want to get the most competitive price possible, she’s the one to talk to. Plus she’s just enjoyable to talk, you won’t feel pressured or bamboozled into something you’re not comfortable with. Also, leasing a vehicle is great, I mentioned that there was a spot of stitching on my steering wheel that feels like it’s coming out, and because of that, they looked and found another spot that I was unaware of. So I’m getting a new steering wheel! Wasn’t expecting that, but I’m grateful to know that I really should let them know of any small imperfections, even if it feels insignificant!

Very good service experience. They were able to accommodate me the same day. Oil change took about an hour but gave me time to relax in the nicely appointed waiting area. Service staff were extremely professional and they gave me a list of items that may need to be serviced soon. They were spot on as the list was nearly identical to the report from PGH PA only two months ago. They do not try to up-sell you on services and the price for the oil change was extremely fair. This dealer will be servicing my vehicle for the rest of its useful life!

Very disappointed in the level of customer service. I had an unexpected problem with my Pilot, so to be fair, I didn’t have an appointment. But my “check-in” email and text didn’t occur until I had already waited an hour. I ended up missing the shuttle because no one had given me a time estimate. I took an Uber home and got a ride back in the afternoon to pick up my car that had been “complimentary washed” and was covered in water spots. My dirty car looked better than what I picked up. No joke - I have pictures of the “washed” car. I usually receive great service at this location - but not this time. I may be taking my Honda elsewhere in the future.

Courtesy tried to overcharge me by about $150 for the replacement of the starter motor motor on my 2014 Honda CR-V. They tried to charge me $528 for a remanufactured starter. I called another local Honda Dealer (Auto Nation Honda) and they said the price of a Honda remanufactured starter was $404. I also found the same Honda remanufactured Certified starter online for $275, with free shipping. When I went to pick up my car, I challenged their pricing for the starter. I told the service to call Auto Nation Honda if he did no believe me. The service representative gave me a hard time. I insisted he call a manager the Courtes dealership. After several calls to other people and managers, in the dealership, he reduced the starter price to $408. Also, he stated that the Honda remanufactured starter was warranted (parts and labor) for 36,000 miles, from install date. However, he could not give me anything in writing stating the parts and labor warranty. After great insistence insistence by me, he made several more calls to other people inside the dealership. He finally stated that he could print (on my invoice/work order) that all Honda remanufactured parts are warranted for 'parts and labor' for 36,000 miles. This warranty should have been stated on the invoice/work order without me having to go through this hastle. Furthermore, I inspected my car after I returned home. Many of the splash guard retainers on the underside of the car were loose. In my opinion and in summary, Courtesy Palm Harbor is a very poor dealership. I do not recommend that you have your care serviced there or buy a car there. Also, my original buying experience there was very poor. I ended up buying my new 2014 Honda CR-V (approximately 5 1/2 years ago) at another local Honda dealership for $1,500 less than Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda. Also, I am very dissappointed with Honda Car Company for allowing dealers like this in their network. Also, I have performed extensive researched on Honda starter motors for the 2.4 liter engine. Starter problems, for this engine, are a somewhat common problem. Buyer beware when purchasing a Honda or having a Honda car serviced by one of their Dealers.

The intake person was very courteous and helpful but I ask if my air filters were checked she said yes and they were ok. However, 2 visits ago I was told they needed to be changed and I did not have it done. Last time the said they check and they were ok.Before going in this time I took a napkin and shut it in the glove box door to see if they had opened it to check cabin filter. It had not been moved. I was planning on having filters changed if they had checked and said they needed to be. Makes me wonder what is involved in the 21 point check.

There is a TV and some comfy chairs to relax on. You get some goodies for free, along with coffee. It may be better to go in the afternoon versus morning - let me know what you find!!

Went to have a standard oil change and tire rotation. They informed me that my day time running light on the drivers side was out (I already was aware). They also informed me that they tested the port and that the whole wiring for the unit needed replaced at a whopping 650$. So I went home and bought new bulbs on eBay for 17$. And would you look at that!! It works just fine. Not sure how good of a 24 multipoint inspection they’re doing.....

I bought my 2019 honda civic about 4 months and we had steering wheel issue from the get go. It would always make a creaking noise when you turned the steering wheel. I had to bring in the car quite a few times before they found the cause. some said it was a normal sound and I didnt accept it was normal as we tested some of the other cars of the same year and model and they didnt make the noise. So I kept bringing my car in. After the 3rd or 4th visit they found the cause and fixed it. My son was super thrilled and loves driving his car again. The staff was always friendly. I am grateful to John and Ronald for stepping in and handle my case. Thanks guys. One happy customer again.

Let me begin by saying that this is in fact my first bad review ever. I’ve been getting my car serviced at the same place for a long time and they were getting expensive, so I decided to give this dealership a try because a friend told me their prices we good. First time went well, it was just an oil change, nothing big. I did ask if they could check the tail light as I was told one of the was out( my car doesn’t have a sensor to alert me when a bulb is out). I get my car back. Didn’t hear anything about it so assumed it was fine. Get home and tail light is out. Second service I take it to, I needed all 4 tires changed. Everything goes well, my tires are new and under warranty, inspection and diagnosis doesn’t say anything about the tail light. Assumed it’s good. 3 days after the tires have been installed one of them has really low pressure, I drive close to two hrs one way to get to work so I thought maybe it’s a nail, I’ll just take it back because that’s under warranty. When I take it back I’m told it’s a sensor on the tires that is allowing air to leak on two tires and each sensor is 200 dollars. I wasn’t planning on dropping $400 on something I thought was under warranty and that seemed to go bad right after the tires were changed. Finally, this past Saturday the 6/29 I go to get my car serviced and finally get this sensor changed. I mention everything that I’ve had issues with. The leak on the tires, the issue with the tail light, and also a little annoying sound on the AC fan that has been going for a while. The customer service rep says the diagnosis they run will catch everything and they’ll give me an estimate of what’s needed. I finally get an estimate. Tail light needs replacing, I hear nothing about the AC, and the diagnostic for the tires comes with no issues, just low tire pressure. This diagnostic was a red flag all together, this meant to me that if I had dropped $400 the very first time they said I needed those tire sensors, it would have been for nothing. So I call and ask why are my tires leaking then, they are under warranty and they need fixing. They come back saying” oh yeah the sensor needs replacement “ want us to do that? I ask for a manager to see if we can figure out the inconsistency, no manager shows up, services reps pretend they don’t understand what I’m trying to say and give me the run around, the issues with the AC was not even acknowledged, or the fact that they missed the tail light two services in a row. I finally just gave up and decided to pay for my oil change and new battery that I needed and left without seeing a manager at all. I am a very patient customer and very easy to please, but when inconsistencies can cost me 400+ dollars, I will not allow it. Taking my business elsewhere.

She was professional, knew her cars telling me the differences between the SUV models I wanted helping me to make an informed decision. I told Jason of my mistake in not telling them I wanted her on the title. He was kind and understanding and said he could fix it, it wasn't a problem and he did without any complaint. I was so grateful that he was understanding and able to fix it for me. I am on a tight budget after the passing of my husband and $75 is a lot to me. He is a great employee and great at customer service. When I told him I didn't want any of the extras he was to sell me on he wasn't pushy and probably got that I couldn't afford it but didn't outright say it. Thank you for being such a great person and employee with great customer service.

Purchasing a new car was a hassel. The associates had very little knowledge of the vehicles (yes there were two!). They had to keep going back to ask a more senior salesman. They were easy questions like "what does this button do". After owning the vehicle for a week, I came back with a problem. The salesmen looked at it and said they would get back with me. No calls. No solution. I ended up having to research it myself. Train your employees better on the vehicles. They (and management) couldn't remove a "floormat and mudflap" package for $800. I could see the mudflaps (since they were already installed), but $800. Come on. I can get better floormats for $200. I should have went elsewhere, but I didn't want to start the whole time wasting process over again.

Since our new Purchase we have had some creaking noise in the steering wheel and we have taken it in several times. The 1st time one mechanic said it could be something with the steering box and they order a part for it however the part they ordered was for turn single switch I checked out the issue after they replaced the part however the issue was not fixed the mechanic took the car back and was not able to find out why it was making the creaking noise and came out and told us this sound was normal. I was surprised to hear this because I know this is not a normal sound and they would have told me this when I 1st brought the car in and had them listen to the problem. I asked to look at a few other cars that were new and the same model on the lot to see if the noise would be in those car since this is supposed to be a normal sound. When we tested the other cars there was NOT any creaking noisies in those steering wheels. I asked for a new steering wheel to be put in my car to see if this would resolve my issue and they told me they could not replace my steering without a good reason. I beleive this is a good reason, who wants to listen to there steering wheel make noise all the time while driving around In a new car. I am not a happy customer. Since Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda will not replace my steering wheel I will be trading this car in and buying a new car from a different dealer. This is sad a situation as we love car but just can't bear this sound all time when driving. They lost my business when I go to buy a 2nd car for myself.
