After visiting Pohanka Honda of Salisbury, I felt defeated. They tried to pressure me into a payment I wouldn't be able to afford during the slower months of my employment. Wanted to hit me with an interest rate, higher than a credit card and just seemed very cold. I didn't have much credit and was unsure of a visit to yet another dealer to hit my credit. My aunt and uncle brought me to Holly Kia of Selbyville. Steven Johnson, was my first contact. He really listened to what I needed and my concerns for a payment I could handle in the slower months and got a lower interest rate too. Even if I wasn't able to have gotten something that day, the whole experience from the time we walked onto the lot until later that day when I drove my car home, was one that I won't forget. They saw how nervous I was and went above and beyond to make me smile. They talked to me and treated me like a person, not just another sale. Although, some of that whole day is still a bit of a blur(not because of them), I am extremely grateful for everything they did for me and will definitely be going back.

People very friendly but unable to help. Third time trying to get service on my sons car. Every time having to sched 2 or more weeks out. Very inconvenient lives 3 hours away and not sure when he's coming home. Only choice is to blow off warranty and get it done at Castrol in Millsboro. Casrol is all in when it comes to my other vehicles and they also have a warranty. Makes me question about my purchase from kia. So busy they don't need the business.

Just took my car in for an oil change and wheel balancing. Tim Fowler is always so cheerful and helpful. That is one reason I keep coming back to Holly Kia for service on my Sorrento. On another matter: I called Tim on Monday the 16th for a service appointment. I was on hold so long that that stupid commercial ran 19 times. When someone finally answered the phone I told him how frustrated I was from listening to that commercial. Suggestions: 1 Get a dedicated switch board operator. 2 PLEASE only play that commercial one time then switch to soft music. Your business is an image business, afterall.
This is the 3rd car we have purchased from Selbyville Holly Kia! The staff is amazing and very helpful. We have dealt with Bob Kemp as our salesman every time. Bob will work to get your business, and he will do anything he can to make sure you are satisfied! The finance managers are willing to do as much as possible to get you the best deal (payment, interest, etc). I would highly recommend if your in the market for a vehicle, to go talk with Bob and have a look around! Great dealership
Was very happy with the sales. For following up about tags I'm very upset with this dealership. I've left 3 messages about tags with no one ever returning my call. 1st T tag expired , I am on the 2nd T tag but It will expire when I'm on vacation. I guess that doesn't matter because no one would return my call.

Selbyville Holly Kia was excellent in finding a way for me and my wife to get a new car, despite our poor credit history. The Kia Forte LX is a superb business class sedan and much better than other low end Kia offerings. Tom Hoy was awesome in handling everything and insuring that all was done quickly and to meet our needs.
Overall good experience, I've bought 3 Kias from them, coming away satisfied each time. Good service staff also, although sometimes it can take a while to get through to schedule an appointment (I schedule online now) and the prices can get a bit high.
For me buying a car is not one of my favorite ways to spend time, none the less we had a great experience Holly Kia in Selbyville. Our Salesman Bob Kemp did a great job of helping us find the right car, and we worked out a price that was in line with our budget. This is the first car we have bought from them, but from work I already new the shop is equally good to deal with. I hope not to need them for much beyond the scheduled maintenance but its good to know if we do have a problem they will be there for us.

I have had a great experience when I bought my new Kia Soul and I had a great experience when I had my first service. The only thing I could add would be it would be nice if they woul vacuum/clean your car when they service it (I was spoiled by Mini of Annapolis, they always did that)!

Really, if you want my business you won't make me work so hard to find the vehicles I can afford without being hassled making phone calls. Why have a website? I could car less what cars are on the lot if they don't have a price. This is just shady business. The price is different for everyone. That's what it comes down to.

When my wife went to buy a car a few months ago I suggested she try Selbyville KIA - best suggestion I have made in ages. Brandon listened to what my wife said she wanted in a new car and got her exactly what she wanted. I was impressed with the purchase process and Brandon's listening skills. We are both very happy with their service and sales departments.
I have always appreciated the great service I have received since purchasing my Kia Soul at Selbyville Holly Kia. Everyone in the Service Department is courteous and helpful. I was in recently for the 30,000 mile service before leaving on a 9 hour drive to New England. I was given a loaner for the 4 hours needed for the service. My car was ready prior to the designated time and I felt confident that all was done properly before my trip. (and it was!)

I like the way that I am reminded via email about upcoming service appointments. We had no driven the Kia as often in the last six months as we had in the previous two years , so we did not need the service as regularly ( driving 250 miles per month vs. 250 miles per week). The service dept emailed me about regular service which I did not need because of reduced driving. however it was great there was an occasional "heads up". When it was finally time for service, it was easy to schedule (Saturday) at a time that was good for me. I even got reminders that I was scheduled for service on that date. Love it!!

Tried to make an appointment for service but got a message to leave a voicemail which said leave your name and number and we'll get right back to you. I called twice and got voicemail twice. 2 1/2 hours and no return call. We purchased this car from Holly Kia and they say that they pride themselves in their service but now I have to drive 30 miles to Salisbury to Sherwood Kia to get my work done.
A lot quicker than expected. And a free 5th oil change.

I got a 2019 Kia soul in Nov 2018 it has a miss when I start it. It is May 2019 and they told me I have to pay 109.00 a hour for Diagnosing the problem. Isn't it under warranty. Why did I buy a new car? Never again
The worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Nobody ever returns calls. The "Web Owe" work has never been completed. When we took the vehicle (which only has 39,000 miles on it) in for the promised work, the service rep "can't remember her name" was extremely rude. We were to have new rotors placed on our used car..part of our original deal and several other things done. She said "how do you know you need new rotors?" We stated they turned the rotors the day we purchased the vehicle but there was still a vibration when the brakes were pressed...so they promised new rotors. She said "rotors are expensive, we have to look at them before just replacing them!" So...needless to say, the rotors were again just turned...which make them even thinner. None of the other promised work was completed that day. Still fighting them...being treated rudely by everyone we talk to there. Next step is to go into our credit union who financed the vehicle to see if they can cancel the entire thing. I will NEVER buy anything from Holly Kia again. BEWARE
I had the feeling i was in the twilight zone shopping here. I purchased a car drove it 2 weeks before the salesman called to tell me that the bank decided not to finance me. They already had my truck and actually told me I would have to pay to get my trade in back. Eventually they found a bank and I had to drive there AGAIN to sign papers. I gave them a post dated check to hold until Friday to save me another trip.......they cashed it the same day causing my bank account to over draw. Instead of taking care of their mistake they told me the check was not post dated and they never had that conversation with me. I went to my bank got a copy of the check drove it to the lot and showed it to them their response?? So it's post dated what do you want? My bumper is now falling off the car where they had it glued on and they refuse to tell me the truth about it being in an accident DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE!!!! It will become your worse nightmare

Unprofessional! Brought a car from Holly Kia. Had valid car insurance from VA. Insurance company sent the declaration to dealership. Dealership sent me home with dealer tags not temps. American Finance calls me to schedule GPS install. Which verify that loan is approved! Dealership starts calling me about 4 days after I left lot asking for car back. They now wanted me to switch my insurance for Delaware Insurance. I informed them because my bank account is frozen I could not start a new insurance plan when my current insurance is valid and because I can't access the funds on my debit card. 3am a week and a day after buying car repo man shows up and takes the car. I have paperwork to authorize my use of car and dealer tags. There was no grounds for repo. Ask American Fiance for another dealer they deal with and they said they canceled my financing as a service to the dealer. They refuse to give me another dealer to go with. I will now loose my job due to loss of car! They also would not let me test drive very dirty car. They also sold me a car with issues.

Our credit isn’t all that great so we thought we were going to have to go to a buy here pay here. A close friend recommended Brandon. We were a little worried because we got turned down by quite a few dealerships! So, we called him. We told him what we needed and the problems we had with work & actually getting there. He did everything he could to get the process started before we got there! It was the smoothest car buying experience my husband & I ever had! We were in & out with a brand new car! I highly recommend this dealership! Everyone there was so nice! We are extremely happy! The only thing we wish we did differently was go there first!

My husband and I were vacationing in Delaware with our family when our Honda Odyssey's check engine light went on right in front of the dealership. To be safe we pulled in, and we could not have received better treatment. We were travelling with young kids, so while the mechanics worked so hard to diagnose what was ailing our car, Tim made sure we were comfortable with snacks and water for us and our children. The break room had a nice little area with books and crayons for kids. We were treated so well and we are so grateful for the staff at this dealership. Based on the experience we had, I would highly recommend them.

At one point I would've suggested purchasing from Selbyville Holly Kia, now I would like to say to anyone thinking of doing business with them, just don't. Don't do it. Selbyville Holly Kia fails to uphold promises they make to their customers that they claim they "care so much about". Don't make a promise you can't keep, certainly don't advertise a promise to a customer you can't keep. This just screams bad business. They want your business and once they've gotten it customer service and respect are out the window.

This has been the worst car buying experience I've had and I've personally bought at least 5 new vehicles in my life time. I don't know what is wrong with this dealership but I've never experienced this level of poor customer service. I almost had to beg them to sell me the vehicle I was looking for and I should have walked away after spending several hours there on the FIRST DAY! Yes, I was stupid and went back the second day because I understand what it is like to work for commissions. On the FIRST DAY, the salesman was determined to put me into a large SUV, which I clearly stated I did not want or need. I'm a single, "older" woman with NO children....I don't need/want a large SUV. I really think the salesman and manager were hoping to bully me into buying that vehicle. Obviously, they are not use to dealing with strong willed women. I told them at least 3-4 times that I don't want that vehicle.....so, they let me walk away without even trying to find out out what Kia I was interested in. Sorry, but how stupid was that ? Went home and searched the internet again and discovered that their "sister" Kia dealership had the exact vehicle that I wanted. A smaller SUV and the color I was looking for. So, I was stupid (I thought it was being considerate) enough to go back the second day. I was given the total "run around", kept waiting HOURS for the car that I requested to be driven about 40 miles from the other dealership in Felton. They continued to tell me one fake story after the other to keep me from going to another dealership. The staff told me nothing about the car, slapped a temp tag on it, handed me the keys and walked away. I bought the car and now it has taken me 10 weeks to get my tags and registration!!! Also my bank called and want to know why the dealership has not sent them the appropriate paper work for the loan. WHAT ELSE CAN THIS DEALERSHIP SCREW UP??? Oh, I know what else. I found a window sticker in my new vehicle saying that it came with a DELUXE PINSTRIPE for $399....guess what?, no pinstripe on the car. I called my salesperson....are you ready for this? He told me that I got such a discount on my vehicle that they couldn't afford the stripe. BS, I have no doubt that I was taken to the cleaners by this dealership. I won't even get into the laughable pricing structure that they have on their window stickers and the lame excused they give when asked about the huge mark ups. THANK GOODNESS, for the dealership in Felton. With one phone call, the General Sale Mgr at that location has resolved the issues created by Selbyville Kia. It is hard to believe that these dealerships are owned by the same managing group. She (Gen Sales Mgr)continues to follow up with me and is getting the pinstripe installed. My experience with Felton Holly Kia has been fabulous. My experience with Selbyville Kia was HORRIBLE ! I'm telling everyone that will listen to me about my experience at Selbyville....don't even drive through the car lot.

This place is literally one big scam, they ran my mom's credit more the 30times even though capital one already approved her. The salesman Brandon informed her after being approved by their crazy lender that " a CD player would cost to much to add" and then scamed her into a $3000 package for tires in which they will "plug" if possible if not she will have to purchase a new tire.....no spare in the back but that's what 20k gets you now adays. These guys are a joke like their commercials and if I could give them no stars I would. Your better off going to craigslist.

I am an employee of a KIA dealership in York, PA my husband and I were traveling in the area of your dealership on Saturday August 24, 2019. We are building a home nearby and during our travels we had a low tire pressure light come on in our KIA Sorento. We stopped at the closest repair shop we could find and we were told it would be a 2 or 3 hour wait due to previously scheduled appointments. We did not have that kind of time as we had to meet with the builder of our home and following that we had a 4 to 5 hour drive home depending on traffic. I decided to look for a KIA dealer on my cell phone hoping it would have Saturday service hours and that they could look at our vehicle. I found your dealership and called I was so happy you had Saturday hours; the dealership I work for does not. I spoke with Tim your service manager who could not have been nicer he told us to come in that service was open until 5 pm. We were only about 10 miles away so we got to the dealership and talked with Tim he said they would look at it and we could wait in the customer lounge. My husband and I had been traveling since 6 :00 that morning we were tired of sitting so we got up to walk around. We saw that our car was already being looked at probably within 5 to 10 minutes of arriving. Your technician who was equally as nice talked with my husband and me he told us along with Tim that we had a puncture with a slow leak. He plugged the tire and sent us on our way. We were so impressed and happy with the way we were treated and the professionalism your service staff showed that I wanted to write this wonderful review. My husband and I will be retiring to your area in the next 3 to 4 years we will definitely come to your dealership for our service and sales needs. John ennis was very helpful kind personable. We were on a tight time frame which was relayed the night before and it seemed to us that it really didn't matter to Holly Kia. Also you guys tried to put us in something we did not want very disappointing. It took me being a little loud and threatening to walk out the door for your sales manager to come to us. You are in the business of selling cars and you should be willing to move a little quicker on getting deals done. On a positive note we love our Chevy Malibu it's a great car

These people are just as unprofessional as that silly, cartoon-like, mindless buffonery they call commercials, that they put on television. Shuckin' and Jivin'....and that's exactly what they do once you purchase a vehicle from them. CLOWNS!!!! and if you let them, they will try to treat you like one too. I DO NOT recommend that ANYONE purchase a vehicle or anything else from this place. You will regret it!!!
