I had the absolute BEST car buying experience with Elaine! Even though I wasn't shopping for the most expensive cars on the lot, she took her time, bringing out 5 different cars for me to look at and test drive, was honest with me without being pushy in any way, and even said she'd keep her opinions to herself so I could form my own. :) She was great to talk to, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and even stayed late to help me finish up the sale. I cannot imagine any way buying a car could have gone more smoothly and can't recommend Elaine highly enough. The whole dealership is quite nice, but Elaine is really a shining star.

So I had my car totaled after it was hit and was forced with having to do some car shopping. Being only 23 I've only heard bad things about how complicated buying a car is and how pressured car sales reps make you feel to make a decision right then and there. How they don't listen to anything and drag you to car after car almost ignoring your budget limit. Well let me tell you that this was nothing like I've heard. I felt like I was walking into a hotel where the only concern they had was am I being taking care of and if not how could they help change that. I had a car I was looking at online and while we were doing a test drive he asked and inquired about the car I had and what I really looked for in a car. I've never felt so in sync with someone before about a car. He really took the time to ask questions that helped him really understand what made me comfortable when driving. This listen and inquiring is what really helped me find the car I honestly didn't even know I was looking for. After the test drive as I was walking back to the entrance with a great amount of disappointment Neil had one car in mind that he hoped I wouldn't mind taking a look at. This car wasn't anywhere on my radar but I'm so glad Neil pointed it out to me. This is so much like my old car just updated. Neil was a life saver because I really was running out of time. Then to top everything off he stayed in contact so he could do what he needed to do while I was at work and brought it to me after he was finished. It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. It was such a great experience to have him walk in and help me show off my new car which all my co workers wouldn't stop asking to see. So I stress this because I'm still dealing with another dealer who doesn't get that not interested anymore. Price Toyota is like a family and if you want a good deal go see Neil. Worst experience ever I went to price toyota when my car had 30000 miles with the issue They say there's nothing wrong with the vehicle and now that the car ha 100000 miles they tell me that's the transmission. It's the same problem I've been having since the car has 30000 miles. only good thing Was Jonathan when I bought the car Bran new everything else from price Toyota is a bunch a liars. Received a call from price Toyota they told me they were going to email me some documents about a price to get my car fixed I'm still waiting there still lies

The salesman was very nice,unfortunately the the sales manager was very less than helpful after I refused all the extra warranty he tried to sell me.I already purchased one warranty that I was told cover all major engine parts He tried saying it only covered the transmission. I was never showed anything only told to sign here sign here etc. I didnt get a copy of the warranty I did purchase or even given any information as to were to make payments! And if that wasn't enough I am expected to pay for a second key.

i bought a car at this dealer because my previous car was involved in a car accident and it was deemed totaled. The dealer asked me for a letter from the insurance about the car being totaled so I can purchase another vehicle while insurance works out the pay out . Have been 2 months and going back n forth with this dealer about paperwork, my tags expired so I came to the dealer see what why my new tags hasn’t arrived yet, they told me that was a issue with my paperwork. They didn’t even bother calling me about the issue. Now here I am at he dealer and everyone is clueless about the issue or why nobody called me to informed me about this issue. This dealer it’s a horrible place to buy a car or to maintain it. Feels like this is a Used Car Dealer!

I was completely turned off by the PA dealership and found Price using Google, what a wonderful find as Josh was not only friendly and knowledgeable he was exceptional with regards to his professionalism and customer care as he won my business after our first meeting. I left my vehicle there and he called back a couple of hours and told me it was my premature wear of the universal joints causing my issue and that they would order new ones and replace at no charge... This was my first brand new car purchase. So automatically i was anxious and nervous about the whole car buying process. Thankfully when i walked into Price Toyota in (Newcastle, Delaware), i was greeted with a warm welcome by none other than Mr. Oscar Rivera himself. Oscar is a very kind and patient person who made things as easy as possible and easy to comprehend. He wasn't just shoving a car into my face but went into specific details about what would work best for me. He definitely went above and beyond on catering to my needs. My first visit to Price Toyota to service our 2008 Toyota Corolla LE in March 2019 was good. Service manager Marissa listened to me and got most of the things I needed done right. Was not happy with braking, but they found nothing wrong with it, so I let it go. Revisited in May 2019 to get new tires installed including balancing and wheel alignment. Initial talk was with Marissa however when we brought the car on 05/15, we had a different service consultant JD Redden. The car after tires installation leaned to the left and vibrated at certain speeds. Car continued to vibrate during braking as well. Called customer service and the manager who picked the phone asked me to bring the car back to make it right. When I brought the car back, the technician found nothing wrong with the car and as it was later in the day and only service consultant was Kristy (I'm sorry if I'm spelling this wrong). She claimed that the reason I'm feeling the vibration is because of the type of tires I've chosen - Michelin Cross Climate. She was rude and asked me to talk to JD Redden if I needed any additional help. Following morning called customer service again and the lady at the other end seemed understanding and disappointed with my experience. She promised someone from Price Toyota would get back to me. That never happened to date (7/14/2019). On 7/10 I took the car to a local shop hoping they would find something wrong and indeed the weights on the tires were wrong and the rotors needed resurfacing. Its a shame Toyota authorized service technicians couldn't do this for me. Love driving my car again.

I went here to purchase a used Toyota and after test driving multiple cars, sales guy Matt was great, selected one and was informed that Price toyota DOES NOT negotiate on any used cars. If that's the case save your money and go to Carmax! What kind of dealer is this? I brought my car in for routine service and much work was required. At the time two tires were ordered and a week later I returned to have the old ones replaced and the wheels aligned. However, thanks to the crew and service consultant, it was decided my two remaining tires needed to be replaced also. So, the brand of tires ordered were replaced for four of another brand to keep the cost down. One of the good remaining tires was put in the trunk to be used if needed. My experience with this place was horrible. I went in on a Thanksgiving Holiday and bought a 2018 Camry Hybrid. The sales was extremely quick but the finance office was extremely slow. Now I look back, it was a total scheme that the dealer is using to sell their cars. The finance office would keep you wait for an extremely long time and run your patience out. At the end, all options were and I couldn't remember what was talked and ran out of patience. They ended up selling me the car a few thousand dollars more than the MRSP. It was totally ridiculous and my advise to you is never go to this place for purchasing anything. They totally lost a customer. Now I just got an email and they want my car back saying their used car market is booming. You think I will do business with them again? What a dirty trick they played on me.

I got my second car from here. They were really helpful and they gave me the exact price that they told over phone. They gave me a price with Delaware tax when I told that I was from Jersey, so they did a mistake. But when I told them that I talked over the phone, they shrunk down the cost of the car to accommodate the tax. Not many dealers do that. I was really impressed. It was a good deal for me. Matt was so helpful and patient through the process, he even called me after the buy was done to check the experience or any issues. Customer service needs A LOT of work. Best customer service I received was when I purchased my car. (Elaine is the best) Every time I take my car for maintenance its always an issue. I was very disappointed in the wait I encountered at my last service appointment. I waited almost 20 minutes just for someone to ask how can I help you. When I pulled into the garage, there was a you man and a woman sitting typing on a computer and another young lady helping another customer. No one said welcome to Toyota or someone will be with you in a minute. I sat in my car for almost 20 minutes before someone came to help me and this lady came out of no where. I've sent two people here and they've purchased cars. I'm over it. I will not be sending anyone else or getting my car serviced here anymore.

I made an appointment with Price Toyota in New Castle, DE and ask to have the car done by noon. I hadn't heard from them by noon so I called. They said the service person would call me back. He never did. At 1:00pm I went in and they said the service person would get me the paperwork. I had to find him. He then said the work was done and gave me back the car. They had the car for 5 hours and didn't do anything. I called to find out why they didn't provide the service and no one has ever called me back. Not what I call good service.

On a new car purchase charged me for 5 year tags but only provided 4 year tags. Botched my new car purchase paperwork when the promo was supposed to be 3 months no interest no payments. Multiple calls into the dealership and promises of return calls but no calls. They will do anything to sell you a car but after hours to complete the deal they get everything wrong and won't even return my phone calls. Warren Price would be turning over in his grave if he knew what happened to all the great customer service they have abandoned and this is after purchasing 7 cars from the Price organization over the past 20 years. Never again. Stay away and buy your Toyota elsewhere!!!

Service department really cares about your experience. They are prompt and courteous. I had the transmission flushed in my truck and seems to be working well. My only complain is that I had called the dealer with questions about this service and I was given conflicting information with what was done with the transmission flush service. I was told someone with more knowledge will be calling me, and no one did... JD was really helpful in helping me understand what the service was about and scheduling the appointment, once I had stopped over there and asked for information.

This Price Toyota is unreliable in my eyes. I’ll tell you my experience. We came to Price toyota cuz we saw a beautiful 2018 Toyota Camry. No damages no scratches no accidents reported as we were told. Everything was good with the car. It was washed. they told us it was inspected by professional when they got it and when they ship it off to us. We paid a very good amount of money upfront for this car and bought it all the way upfront and gave them a check because we thought they were honest with us. After a couple days of lookin at this brand new car i was falling in love with. The battery light went on s couple days later and they’re was a crack on the side of the windshield. I took the car to safelite to fix it thinking it was my fault. But... they told us the crack was filled it by someone else. Meaning Price Toyota sold me a car that had a crack in the windshield they tried to cover up and they didn’t tell us about the battery issue. When we took it back and they told us on the phone they’ll handle it. They told us they can’t do anything about. Once it’s off their parking lot it’s our problem. This is wrong. i can’t believe i can’t do anything about paying for a $26k that i paid for but was easily ripped off. Imagine how i feel putting my life’s work into something that ripped me off. Never again Price Toyota.

I leave and come back at 1:30pm car wasn’t done so I sit and wait about 2:10 I get a car from jd redden hey ms Sosa your car is done. On your next visit you will need tires. Ok thank you. I get my car like 15 mins after paying for my service. The hole time I’m thinking my tires was rotated I get to where I was going walk around my car and see the tires wasn’t rotated. I call back to price to see why and what did I pay for. Jd redden gets on the phone a LIE I LEFT YOU A VOICEMAIL MS SOSA BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET YOU LIVE STATED I DIDN'T ROTATE THE TIRE CAUSE THEY ARE BAD. O but jd I just talked to you u didn’t tell me the tires wasn’t rotated. I just took the car for service at 46000 miles the tires was great now at 51000 the tires are to dangerous to rotate. I took my sister’s Toyota in for service on Saturday and as I was sitting there I overheard some of the nastiest, disrespectful words coming out of what looked to be like a manager’s mouth. I was sitting close to a round desk near sale office( I’m assuming was sales ) then a younger manager ( I believe Trevor was his name ) was telling him that it was enough and there is to be no more talk like that. Kudos to that him for speaking up but it didn’t stop there. I saw the mans name tag “ Ernie “ when he walked by. Then he went back to the round desk and started mocking the younger person when he wasn’t there to defend himself by dropping more eff words and laughing at what the other manager had said to him like it was a joke and kept swearing like a sailor. I find this to be extremely unprofessional and very disrespectful. I myself will not be returning to Price Toyota for any of my family’s automotive needs or be recommending Price Toyota to anyone. The worse part is there was an older lady sitting next to me that over heard all of this and she was absolutely a palled and disgusted. She was so ashamed to even be sitting there listening to this man have a tantrum like a 2 year old. Everyone has always been extremely friendly to my sister and she has always said great things about the price Toyota but it takes one situation to ruin a good thing. This review is specific to price Toyota service department. I will not recommend this place. They billed me more than the amount which they initially agreed upon for doing a job. When I asked why they are charging more than the amount they mentioned few hours back, the answer I got is “my manager told me to use this code for billing, the first guy may not have known what code to use”. what kind of response is that? I wonder how can they bill what ever they feel like for doing an agreed upon service ? I will never go there for service again. Please share your experiences about the billing discrepancies you had.

These people definitely buy the positive reviews!!! Run! Run far far away if you ever have to do business with Price Toyota. I had a terrible experience with their customer service and have seen the worst of what a car dealership can be. They don't care about their customers and only care about making the sale. From selling me a car without a proper state inspection (which I had to get done and reimbursed 3 months late because of their accounting department), to selling me a car with a bad clutch, to selling me a car without knowing it had a remote star, every part of the process was a battle. I bought a used vehicle from them in January 2019. During the sale, they tried to force their in-house financing on me. Then I had to I take the vehicle back to them 2 days after the purchase because of a shudder on acceleration. I also wanted to inquire about what I thought to be a remote start antenna. They inspected and tried to assure me that the shudder was normal and there was no remote start. Now others might let this go and be on their way but I know what I know and after paying for another dealership to take a look, sure enough there was a remote start and a bad clutch! I had the other dealer complete the repair and they did a great job. I am livid with Price’s boldness and incompetence; I am not sure which could be worse. What made the experience all the worse was their pre-owned sales manager Chris Early who consistently dug his feet in returning calls and the poor customer service. I even left a voicemail with the dealership manager and have yet to receive a return phone call 4 months later.

Service: what's your phone number .... long pause ..... we don't have anything for you.... Me: so what does that mean .. you dont have me as a customer or you dont show that recall? Service: give me your vin number .... Service: so why are you calling again ... you are looking for a recall for an old part? Me: yes. That's what I explained when I was there over a week ago. I have an open recall that I need your help with. Service: so you expect us to order an old part for an old car for a recall? Me: um, yes. Service: but you haven't been here before... you aren't a customer Me: i am pretty sure that I do not need to be an existing customer to ask for your help with an open recall. Can I speak to a manger? Service: sure but what do you expect us to do, just help you with an old open recall??.... blah blah blah Me: can I please just speak with a manager? .... I'd like to see if we can get this resolved before I fire you before i can even become a customer Service: you can't fire us if you aren't already a customer. Me: please just get me a manager Put on hold .... Me: hung up Price Toyota. YOU ARE AWEFUL, and I'm pretty sure you can't just turn a Toyota customer away because you dont feel like helping with an old recall. Guys, this is your loss .. I have a 1988 classic landcruiser that often needs parts replaced. That's money you are now not going to get! Luckily I have contacts at Toyota Corporation, office of the president. Please expect a call from them shortly. Complaint is filed. ========= Update 2/27/19 Toyota Corp called me today to advise that the Price Toyota service manager will try to see what he can do to help.
