Classic bait and switch...I was recently in the market for a Toyota Tacoma Limited and had sent an inquiry to Price Honda through their website. I received a reply from one of their sales associates letting me know the vehicle was available and the price. I replied saying I was interested in moving forward at the quoted price and asked what steps I needed to take to hold the vehicle. When I did not get a reply, I called the office and was told that the price I had been quoted was for a different Tacoma that had "sold yesterday". When I asked to see the details of that vehicle I was told that they could not provide any details of a sold vehicle and that the vehicle I wanted was now magically going to be ~$6K more than what was quoted. Despite speaking to a sales manager and requesting that they meet somewhere in the middle the response I got was the price was firm and unapologetic. As you might imagine I was pretty disappointed that there was little understanding for what had occurred as I had let other vehicles go thinking this one would be a fit. It was not as if I had made multiple inquiries about different vehicles - it was one inquiry about one specific vehicle. Again, no willingness to arrive somewhere in the middle or take responsibility for the frustration created. This was my first interaction with Price Honda and it will be my last. My advice is skip this dealership and work with one that honors what price they put in writing so you don't go through the same headache.

Took my 2017 Honda CRV in for a recall /product update to replace the shift knob button. The service advisor, Jenna Racz was super helpful. She asked if I wanted a carwash after the repair and I said yes. She called me when the work was done on time and said that their car washing machine somehow caught my after market right wiper and damaged it. She said that they would take care of it at their expense. When I got to the dealership I found out that they did not have the part in stock. I live an hour away in Maryland and they set up a time, at my convenience, to install the new wipers at my home! Stuff happens and when it does I really appreciate a company that stands behind their product and their work. Price is my kind of dealership!

Justin Silva was wonderful! My kids (twins ages 9, and a 6 yo) walked in to test drive the CRV, but it wasn’t the right fit for us, they were screaming from the back seat through the test drive and I couldn’t take it. His team (Chris and Kimberly) had us walking around looking at all sorts of other vehicles trying them all out and let the kids monkey around inside and out all of the vehicles we looked at. They even asked the kids to help them “remember” what vehicle we needed the keys for. We ended up leaving with a beautiful Pilot budgeted for us, because as a single mom I definitely had a budget. The crew in Price stayed open and let the kids monkey around until well past close. It was a very smooth experience because of Justin. He made the payments suit the budget I had and was never pushy. I made a phone call to set up a repair for a recall and Jenna set the appointment up for Saturday. I decided to drop the vehicle off Friday afternoon and Jenna greeted me, my day was upside down and Jenna still greeted me with respect and I did appreciate that. Jenna has superb customer service because I was not having a good day and she changed my day but overlooking my bad attitude. Jenna said the vehicle could be done Friday. I was like awesome and she said I could check on the vehicle, while at Walmart she messaged me giving me access to a number that I could call or text to find out the status of my vehicle. At the end of my shopping at Walmart I texted and with in minutes Jenna texted back and the service tech said ten minutes and he would be done, seven minutes later I received a text saying vehicle was done. I must say the service department is awesome and everyone in the drive up was polite and helpful. While traveling back home to Florida our car tire blew out. After calling several places we learned our tire was a special order ! This brought us 2 cars full of children and adults into tears. What do we do? We continued to search and then found Price Honda 4575 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, De 19901... From Elisha whom answered my call to Dave Root and associates had within 2 hours 4 new tires on our car and all of us back on the road... Even more touching was how compassionate, caring, understanding and hospitable they all were. Knowing it was lunch time, they offered and took my family in a shuttle across the road and picked them up when the vehicle was done and they were done eating. Earlier today, I was in the Dover area and sought out the Honda dealership, because I had a concern about the driver's seat, in our newly purchased 2018 CR-V-EX. Let me emphasize that I did NOT purchase my vehicle at Price, but was hoping someone could address my concern. As I walked into the showroom, I was approached by Justin Silva, a sales associate. He simply asked how he could help me, without launching into an aggressive sales pitch (how refreshing)!! When I explained that I wasn't there to buy a car and explained my situation, Justin immediately began to assess the problem. Instead of just giving me a generic answer and sending me on my way to the dealership where I bought the car, he asked if he could take a look at my CR-V. Within a few seconds, he was able to determine the problem, which turned out just to be an issue of how I was adjusting the seat. While he was there, he asked if I had any other question about the car's operation and he patiently answered other questions that I had. Justin treated me like I was a valued customer, who had come in to purchase a car. He didn't have to do this, but he took the time and effort to reassure me that everything was fine, which was so important! I can only say that should we ever decide to buy another Honda, in the future, we will make the drive to Dover (over an hour from our home), specifically to ask for him and I encourage anyone from Dover (or, frankly, anywhere in Delaware), interested in purchasing a Honda to go to Price and ask for Justin Silva, because if he was that caring of my situation, it makes sense that he would be an honest and caring salesperson. Visited Price Honda for an AC issue with an older vehicle (would not cool during heat or humidity). Initial diagnosis revealed low freon and a leak in the lines. The vehicle was recharged and our service manager recommended replacing lines. We decided to wait to see if the issue was resolved. However, the vehicle immediately displayed the same symptoms. The technicians were not able to repeat the symptoms we described. We went back and the service manager recommended changing the lines and replacing the compression relay. We chose to replace the relay this visit. The service manager recommended changing the lines once again and again we declined. We. Went home, the vehicle filled all the way home until that early evening when it repeated the same symptoms. The technician was unable to repeat the symptoms we described. We took the vehicle back to replace the lines. The lines were replaced, but 20 minutes after picking the vehicle up the symptoms returned. We took the vehicle back for more troubleshooting. This time the technician was able to get the vehicle to reproduce the symptoms. The compressor was failing. The compressor was replaced and the vehicle’s AC is cooking without interruption. The situation was frustrating and we can’t lay blame on Price Honda Service center for faults in the AC. If you know AC systems, there are a number if things that can go wrong. Maintenance: New tires, new brakes (front & back), resurface rotors, oil/filter change, engine & cabin air filter change When I made the appointment, I was told my car would be ready by 3:00pm. I dropped off my car at 8:30am. At 11:07am, I inquired about the status of my vehicle. I was told that it still had not been taken to the back. At 2:00pm, I received a call and was told that they did not have the front brakes for my car. The person on the phone attempted to convince me that they didn't need to be changed. I told him that I want all new parts and to change them. Unfortunately, since they did not have the brakes and had to "reorder" them, I will be inconvenienced again by bringing my vehicle back to have the brakes changed. To make matters worse, my car wasn't ready until about 4:30pm. The service department failed. They get 2-stars because they attempted to make things right by taking $30 off my almost $1,300 bill. My time is worth more than $30. Service gets an UNSAT rating from me. After my brakes are changed I will take my business elsewhere.

I've been inside this dealership multiple times alongside friends and family, and heard countless positive reviews from others, but was never a purchaser until I was recently looking for a Honda Civic Si in my local area. Honda Price was awesome, was able to work with my limited (but good) credit, and got me my dream car within my price range with minimal down payment despite banks being resistant. I dealt with a number of associates here including Ricky and Roland. Despite being an incredibly young buyer, I never felt pressured into getting anything I didn't want or need, and was treated with as much respect as anyone else. The process was straight forward, clear, and easy to understand. None of those stingy business tactics I've heard others experiencing at other dealerships. They've also contacted me AFTER the sale just to check on me out of genuine compassion and for that reason I am writing this review. They never asked me to do this, however. Personally I know of at least 4 cars that have been purchases here and am proud to say i am a 5th, and will definitely return to this dealership if needed. The service I received yesterday for the work required for our 2010 Honda Accord was done on time and efficiently as in the past. That is why I am willing to drive to Dover instead of having it serviced closer our home in New Castle. Also, we purchased the car with you and believe it is a good idea to service at the place of purchase. I took our Civic down for service for an 8:30 appointment. Because an unexpected matter arose and I needed to be home by 11:00, I called to see if my time could be moved up to 8:00. I was told just to get there when possible which I did at 8:00. The Civic was serviced and I was out by 9:30 and home by 11. Everyone is so accommodating and the work is done promptly and the service explained. Could not ask for better service. Our AC stopped working and although the service department was very busy, they evaluated the problem and explained what possible solutions were available with the anticipated expense. They ordered the necessary parts, worked on it on July 3rd and let me know the work was completed at 6:00 PM. I was able to retrieve the car by 7:30 and have it to use for the weekend. Honda supplied a loaner during the these three days of work. Could not have been more helpful.

I got there a bit early and I walked in and it took a while for someone to recognize me, but it was busy, so ok. The tech was nice for the most part. I tried to explain that something may be wrong with the car, as it is my car and I know its sound. He kinda brushed it off and told me it was something else. Of course, it was something that would need to be done and cost a lot more. No big deal. I told him I would wait in the waiting area for him to update me. Two hours later, he finally came out and said they would need to keep it overnight and I could pick it up the next morning. I was never offered a rental or anything, but no big deal. I was more frustrated with waiting that long. Come the next day, it was about 3:00 PM and I hadn't heard anything, despite being told it wouldn't take that long. I call and they say, oh it's been done a while. So, why didn't you call? This has happened a few times when I have taken my car there. I go to pick it up and they are going over the paperwork and the girl tells me, as part of the service, that my car was washed. Ok, I never asked for that, but sounds great. I have been a loyal customer and this is my fourth car from Price. When I go to leave, you can clearly see it hasn't been washed. Did someone forget that? Did they just lie to me? Either way, I was not pleased with this visit. I think I will take my car elsewhere and hope to pay less and have someone who will listen and give me the courtesy to call and not misinform me of the services that were performed.

I recently purchased a Honda Passport at Price Honda. We went there to test drive a CRV, and we did. We immediately understood why it is a best seller. However, upon re-entering the show room another customer said to me - if you like the CRV you should try the Passport - you will love it. We didnt know that it had been re-introduced in 2019. So we asked our salesman to set us up for a ride in a Passport... He had one brought up to the door, and let us go for the drive on our own. We indeed loved it immediately. It has all the latest technology and safety features and a quiet comfortable ride. Our purchasing experience also exceeded our expectations. Our Salesman Roland was great. He was knowledgeable about every detail, very courteous, and was a good listener to our wish list. In no time we were discussing a deal. Roland worked up numbers based on our verbal claims of a good credit score and only a verbal description of our trade. We then picked the specific Passport we wanted, and left, with the promise of opening our credit file for Price to verify, and bringing our trade in 2 days later for them to check and accept. We did both, and the transaction completed like clockwork. They accepted the trade at the value we had previously agreed, we financed the Passport through Honda, and we drove it home. We dont think anybody loves the typical ordeal of buying a car, including us. But this was not an ordeal. Of course it took some time, because I am finicky and ask a lot of questions. The Price Team and Roland in particular, handled everything quickly and professionally. We were highly satisfied with the experience, and we love our Honda Passport.

It's always puzzling to me when the expectation of a customer is to be understanding. Why call a service "express" with a little icon of a guy running as part of the marketing strategy to infer speed, and have a customer wait 120minutes, yes that's 2 hours for an oil change! The reason we were told was it's Saturday and we are short staffed. And express and appointment service are really not different. Really? Everytime, regardless of day, there is a delay with an excuse attached. Where are the quality standards for customer service? TV, comfy chairs, and some condiments are great but I'm there to get an oil change and get on with my life. That shouldn't take 2 hours. The 2 stars are for the courteous staff, who try to pleasantly explain the situations, somewhat. While I don't hold them accountable for poor management, I still think they should be courteous enough to at least communicate an update every 30 mins or so. They have text service. I got a welcome text 30 seconds after I checked my car in. But silence for 2 hours. Then a "your car is ready text." I understand these communication strategies might be for drop off customers. The kicker is my car was brought out to the lot 30 minutes prior to it being released so while my vehicle was ready, the paperwork was playing catch up. Makes me wonder, how can Jiffy Lube and these places do the same stuff in 15 to 20 minutes while I'm sitting in the car? It almost feels like the message from the dealers is "we're the dealer, so we are entitled." Understand that when you say "express" it implies "efficient." As in express lanes and express checkouts. You can't say to a customer that "everyone misunderstands what express service is." No, we know. Your organization apparently doesn't.

Leased a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T last month. The car itself is wonderful, but I'll never use this dealership again and will never recommend Price Honda in Dover to anyone at all. I started with a really helpful, knowledgeable salesman (cannot remember his name, but he was right by the southern door of the sales dept) and test drove the car (in Blue), but told him it was not the color I wanted (Black). After the test drive my salesman told me he has to leave due to an appointment and hands me off to Roland.... who at first was friendly enough but quickly turned pushy and irritable. I hadn't actually decided on the Accord and I wanted to test drive an Acura RDX before I made any decisions- which the first salesman knew and explained to Roland before he left. Roland drove me over to Acura and walked me over to an RDX and let me sit in it, but not drive it,. He stood outside of the door and when I asked questions about features he gave me vague, short answers and rushed me out of the vehicle and back over to Honda where he became irritable and very pushy about the Accord (the last salesman already had the paperwork started). So... I signed the lease for a BLACK Accord which I had never even been allowed to sit in. I was told to go over a checklist and sign it. I declined to have him pair my phone to the radio but he told me to make sure I said he did it because he had already signed off on that plus a few other things. When I drove off I noticed immediately a HUGE deep scratch on the center console and that there were way more miles on the odometer than what the form I signed said- I assume they used the ODO reading from the blue one. So within the week I get a few voicmails from Roland asking me to do the online survey- which I did and was honest and gave him a 6/10. He called me the next day and left a long voicemail telling me that he always gets 10/10 and didn't know why I gave him such a low score (even though I explained it in the survey). I had All Season floor mats added to my lease and STILL do not have them. Roland called 3 weeks ago and said they were mailing my tags, but I never received them.. I called today because my temp tags expired already and they are still at the dealership. ALSO.. I called the service dept Wednesday at noon and explained that I have a nail in my tire and wanted to bring it in for a patch, the guy who answered got all of my info and told me someone would call me back within the next hour.. it's now Saturday and no one ever called. I called today to ask about it and they told me I have an appointment Monday at 2:15--- which nobody ever called back to tell me about. Needless to say, I already took the damn tire somewhere else and had it fixed. I still have no idea where the all season floor mats are or when I will get them even though I've called up there 3 times already. They clearly have huge communication issues here, or the staff just DGAF about the customers at all. Next time I will go to Pohanka in Salisbury instead.

Leased a Civic a few years ago and recently went to get a new one. My husband and I got there a little before our appointment to look around the lot. I didn't quite see anything I REALLY wanted. As we went to walk in the dealership, we saw our sales rep parking a car right by the door. It was the car! The one I has envisioned. My husband was a little upset cause he thought the car was up there because it was sold, but Dwayne had brought it up there to show us. Pretty good when your sales person can read your mind!! LOL! Love my new Civic and love the customer service. As long as Dwayne is there, I won't buy a car anywhere else!

I was disappointed with a few matters: 1. A brake fluid change was recommended by the service tech based on the code, even though it will not be required for my CRV for another year. 2. All of my radio presets were deleted. I did not expect that they could be restored by a technician but would have appreciated a heads up that it would be required. 3. My auto driver's seat setting was also deleted. Once again, I would not expect this to be reset but a heads up that it was required would have been appreciated. 4. I was told by the service tech that a complimentary vacuuming of the interior would be done. It was not. 5. I would suggest reconsidering the complimentary exterior wash. It was not convenient to wait in line for the auto wash. I believe my previous service did have a complimentary exterior wash.

Treated nicely, efficiently, and cordially. Cars condition was explained and cost of service was given up front. Service done in approximately 1 hour. Again courteously shown where it was parked and on my way. Experience made me feel good about dealing with Price Honda. Good job.

He was friendly, efficient and got my husband and I settled in the waiting room while they got to work on my car. Justin was extremely knowledgeable and able to explain the features of each car. When he explained the features of the CRV we were sold. He was so knowledgeable and easy to work with. We decided on the CRV and Justin made sure the sale process was as painless as possible. He set up the electronics and showed us how to work all the features but didn't drag-on the process.
