Just got my first of 3 free oil changes. I have always had an excellent experience with the service staff. Lyle Price is an exceptional Professional Service Advisor. He always suggests the best course of action from routine maintenance up to more serious mechanical issues. He was excellent in making sure I got the best out of vehicle warranty. Mike Ferguson is amazing! He helped guide me through what was best for my car (& it's a Honda!) As soon as he knew that my service would take longer than expected, he offered me a complimentary loaner car for the day! When I arrived to pick up my car, he personally pulled it around to the front, had the heat going, and cleaned the snow off of my car, and not just a couple swipes, he went the extra mile. Had my car towed there after it got flooded. My insurance dealt with it quickly and got everything done to be authorized. I called everyday for a week to check the status of my car but no one gave me a direct answer or returned my phone calls. My car sat there for a week without anyone touching it or working on it. The mold was so bad that my car got totaled because no one bothered to fix it. Called to speak to a manager and he lied to me and said it was my insurance fault that they didn’t work on it. But I had proof everything had been authorized. They are liars and cost me a car. I will never do business with them again. A quick fix that should have been done in three days cost me my car because of their neglect. Don’t do business here!

PORTER NISSAN gave me a price of $1600.00 to "fix" about 4 things they found wrong with my 2012 Nissan Rogue that was causing it to make a noise when I hit the gas pedal. One of the problems they found was a bracket that goes to the muffler. I took the car immediately after leaving Porter Nissan to Midas who replaced my muffler 2 yrs. ago. Three mechanics checked everything they said was wrong and found nothing except a bracket that needed to be replaced. Midas put on a brand new muffler, fixed the bracket and it only cost me $60.00 ( for labor) a HUGE difference from $1600.00. I will never go there again. WHAT A RIP OFF!!

I had a loud noise coming from under the hood on the passenger side they called us said they had two tech's look at it but it wasn't coming from the engine so they did some other work on the front side under the hood and the loud sound is gone and my car rides like a dream now !!! Super Happy I love my Murano and was thankful it wasn't anything major.

Relayed what had been already done on the TPMS. Porter did the same repair that Goodyear did (replace one of the tire sensors that appeared to have a low battery). Within 24 hours the warning light was back on despite the tires all having 35 psig.

Winter storm Avery really took a lot of cars by surprise today, but after seeing the amount of cars on the side (or in the middle) of the road today that couldn’t drive through slushy snow or drive up/down slippery snow covered hills, I was BEYOND thankful I didn’t feel 1 slip with my Nissan Rogue Sport AWD. It was unbelievable and I am beyond thankful especially to Nissan Porter for my Rogue Sport! Not only did I get home safely, I got home confidently!

Ok if you plan on dropping off your vehicle for service, but "express service" doesn't really exist here. Oil changes/tire rotations always ended up being closer to 2 hours which is why I now take my car elsewhere.

My Nissan Pathfinder had 5000 miles till the eng protection plan ran out and the engine took a dive. I understand that I didn't have the oil change receipts but when asked what happened with the engine considering that I did chance the oil on time every time. There was no answer and no reason besides I didn't maintenance it. But I did I do all my cars. Long story short I took it to a real shop and found out what happened do now the car is fine and running good they just told me the engine was done and they wouldn't do nothing for me cause I could not prove the maintenance records. So this shop and Mike the maintenance supervisor had gave me the worst response to my problem and the communication was horrible I asked to leave the engine cover off so I could look at it they had it put together before I got there and parked outside worst place to go when u actually need help or a real answer

Always a LONG wait, no matter what time of day. Went in for oil change this morning, the LAST time I was here I was forgotten about, after a long wait, everyone leaving, a lady at the desk in waiting area asked what I was there for. When I explained an oil change she made sure I was taken care if before closing. I always run full synthetic, she returned and said that regular oil had been put in the engine but that it was being changed. I was not given any options of maintenance checks. THIS time I waited in line a very long time, seemed totally unnecessary. When I finally got called to the desk Michael had a smart attitude. He explained the cost of the oil change only. I had to ask if there were any routine maintenance checks due. He said yes, at 60,000 miles, I had to let him know the car had 62,000 miles on it....REALLY? I'm going to NTB where the service is much better. If I hadn't added the oil changes when I purchased the car, I would be getting them at NTB aalso. REALLY!

Bought my car there in 2006 - it has never been serviced anywhere else. The service is good, the people are friendly, courteous & knowledgeable, and they seem committed to customer service. Dave (Service Manager) does a great job & is genuinely involved in the customer interactions, and Lyle, who usually writes up my service, gives me exactly what I need - good advice about what needs to be done now and what can wait until next time. Customer loyalty is largely cultivated in the service department, and these guys are doing a great job of making my next car a Nissan (and since my 2006 Murano has 145K miles on it, that's not too far off).

Stephanie is very rude. She does not give correct information and then she brushes it off like no big deal. 2 of my child's Christmas presents were in the trunk of my car. I called on Thursday the 21st because I was going to go get them out of the car and Stephanie told me that I was getting my car back on Friday. I did not get my car back on Friday so I called on Saturday. Saturday Stephanie said it was fine to come get them. My dad and niece went to get them they were told they couldn't because the body shop wasn't open on Saturday. I called back and spoke to Stephanie again and her response was I don't know what you want me to do. She didn't apologize once and since she didn't feel like resolving the problem she hung up on me.

Maddie was a gem and Mike is always so pleasant . Brought in daughters car for an oil Change and tire rotation. Have a hard time with how bad the check in office reeks of an ashtray . Not pleasant to smell at a professional car dealership especially when I’m an asthmatic. Why should I have to smell your bad habits ? I shouldn’t!! I’m thinking maybe hand sanitizers for the employees and perhaps some strong plug-ins would be beneficial and or maybe have employees wash there hands when dealing with customers. Or NOT smoke on the premises like hospitals .. not good for your health anyway. Just dread having to check in in that area

I dropped my car off for an oil change and a new serpentine belt. Both were accomplished. When I left my car made an ungodly noise and I returned. The belt had shredded. It was replaced promptly and when I departed a second time I had no A/C. I returned. Here the service became amazing! The service tech Mike and the Service Manager Lyle were apologetic and promised to make it right. They did just that. They provided a vehicle and kept the car and made all the repairs while having constant communication with me. Lyle called and informed me it had been a technician mistake, they educated the tech, had the Master Tech perform the repairs and cleaned my car. I am impressed with their service and their ability to admit they made a mistake and corrected all aspects from the repair, the education of the tech and their incredible customer service skills. They have won a customer for life and I am happy to recommend them to anyone. Bad things happen, but the way it is handled makes all the difference. Customer Service will always win the customer and Porter has proven that with this situation.

After buying two cars from Porter Nissan the second car they sold me was defective electrical problems brake system problems squealing brakes after getting put on new brakes and when I address this issue with them they said we can't do anything for you good luck that was the managers words Jeremy Whats His Name I have been back and forth six times for service all on the same issues and still can't get any thing done about these issues I feel I like these rob me for money because they knew about the problems and once they got my money they did not care A bout the performance or safety of the vehicle. I recommend if you don't buy a car from Porter because they don't stand behind their products and they will sell you anything just to get some money .worst experience I have with buying a used car for $40,000

I was today to Nissan pre owner and the manager there Jeremy it’s the most unprofessional guy to deal with that. I walk in and he was talking to me mean and said to me my friend? Excuses me!? Firts of all I’m not your frend and you can talk professional to me or because you are a manager and you can say whatever u wanna say? So my fiancé car it’s in Nissan servic and I was the one who dropped off yesterday and them give me a loan car witch it’s okay. So I go this morning to change the car because I work far away and I’m the Nissan rouge them give me I was not comfortable there so I asked them for another car if them can do it but the manager there Jeremy he doesn’t change my car but he took the car I got yesterday and he offer me a shuttle if I wanna go somewhere. So I work in Cumberland MD which is 3 hours away so can u shuttle me there and bring me back? It’s the worst experience I ever had and it’s 0 recommended. Thank you

**Terrible Service** DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I had taken my car here after having a car accident about a month ago. It is now a month later and I am now just receiving my car back. When I attempted to pick up my car two days ago, the condition that they were trying to present to me was disappointing to say the least. When I received my car it was terrible looking. There was black grease finger prints everywhere. The black grease fingerprints had been througout my trunk and even on the light colored cloth ceiling of my 2016 Nissan Rogue. You would think going to the dealership would have been a pleasant experience. You would think they would be very meticulous about their work. Boy, was I wrong! They even had lost one of the trunk tray pieces of my car...I had to inquire about the missing piece. Thank God I inspected my car throughly...my car emblem was even wrong as well. They claimed to have placed SL AWD on my car but actually put SV AWD a completely different car emblem without noticing. This was such a frustrating experience and wish I would have chosen a different location to fix my car. **Save yourself and take your car somewhere else**

There is no way for me to explain the experience I had at Porter besides a basic lack of comprehension at every level in the maintenance department. From the advisor up, several “misunderstandings” and when questioned air silence. Poor response time to emails and calls from both myself the customer and at a corporate level. Instructed by corporate to take my car to another Nissan dealer and provided with several contacts in the area, speaks volumes. Requested follow up from the GM and owner.. again no response. I wasn’t looking for a pay out, just an explanation for the constant “misunderstandings” and an apology would have been nice. Would never do business with Porter Nissan again.

I called ahead to set an appointment. When I got there, I had a quick check-in, and relatively easy process (had to re-confirm all the work done and get all the notes processed; a little longer than I wanted, but not unexpected). Getting a complimentary car rental took a few minutes (except that I had to wait for the guy to get back from break), and I was on my way with minimal ado. When the vehicle was ready, I could get in, pay (no line!), and get out under 10 minutes. Good service, clean facilities. Will come back for future work, at the right price.

I don't feel comfortable doing anything with my car except putting gas in it. So when the check tire pressure light came on this morning, I was like oh great. Called up Sheridan Nissan in New Castle, since that is where I typically go and was there last week for an oil change appt, about checking my tire pressure and filling them if needed. Guy flat out said 'well I don't how far you are but anyone can put air in your tires.' Yes, while that is true, he pretty much blew me off. Thanks guy. Then tried to go to Newark Toyota World Service and because I didn't have an appointment I would have to drop it off. Seriously... No, not doing that. So ok let's try Porter Nissan in Newark. First time at this dealer. I didn't realize they have express service and an appointment wasn't needed. That was nice. I told them my tire pressure light came on this morning and just wanted the pressure checked/adjusted. Everyone I talked to was very nice. My pressure was adjusted to 36 psi, the light went off and all is now well. I got there a little before 9am and was in/out in 20 min. Great service and they didn't charge me for anything. Thank you Porter Nissan!

Update: Got a call from the service manager after the incident. Gave all necessary clarification required and took responsibility for the poor service. Sales is good but service is very poor. Took a rogue from porter few months back and the sales person was very good and informative. Took the same vehicle for service last month and the service was poor. All the information given are contradicting.

I bought a certified pre-owned 2014 nissan sentra in feb 2018 with 39k miles on it. This week it broke down with an internal transmission problem. I do not recommend shopping with porter nissan if they sell cars that break down after a year of driving. I bought a relatively newer used car so i wouldn't have to deal with these issues, but now I'm stuck paying off a car that is not drive-able. Edit: The service management team from porter nissan has reached out to me regarding my car problems. They offered any assistance they could be to me. I am currently waiting on repairs at a different nissan location and will edit again once completed to reflect my overall experience.

I checked the inventory on line and noticed that they had the exact color of Rogue Sport that I was looking for. My salesman, Leland Jones, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Nissan product that I was looking at and he even helped me to get into an SL model instead of an SV model. In only a few hours, Leland had me in a vehicle that I was totally in love with. Bill, the finance manager was very professional and extremely helpful. He explained everything I was signing fully and understandably. I did not feel rushed and he made sure that all my questions were answered and taken care of. It was hands down the BEST experience I’ve ever had buying a new car. Alycia helped me take delivery of my new vehicle and she was also very knowledgeable and very helpful in showing me all the bells and whistles on my new car and how to work them. Won't Be Back! Not a genuine dealership or service dept. They are just looking to get your money. The sales staff is not friendly or willing to take your offer of buying to the manager to buy a car and not willing to negotiate. When calling to inquire about the Service Dept, the person on the phone is just looking to get off the phone without truly answering your questions or providing you with the correct procedures on Saturday morning Express Service.

Horrible customer service and a severely unpleasant experience from their employees. Their first quote was almost $3k over the market price for the model that we were shopping. We've requested a copy of the quote and our Saleswoman Alycia Garcia brings her manager/co-worker who was a punk with an attitude. He raises his voice saying that giving a copy of the quote was bad business and that we can shop around and come back to them because he believes they are the best in town. I wanted to give an appropriate response to him by raising my own voice, but it was not worth my time. I just walked out of that place.

Terrible work. Charged me 200 dollars for positive terminals because of corrosion.. next day car is dead. Pop hood, corrosion still on terminals. This was on top of 900 dollars on transmission work. The smack in the face was that when I got the car back my front door had been dented..like a tech opened it onto something.. coddle me amd tell me they'll make it right.. picked it up tonight and the door looks even worse. Cutting my losses..know of a few people that tried to warn me about them. Make the drive to a different dealer if you must have to pay the outrageous dealer markups on service work.

The first time I took my car to this dealer I asked to to inspect the car because it was shaking. They told me I needed new tires and an alignment. They also told me i needed new brakes, I had just replaced them with performance brakes prior to the visit. Took the car to ntb for tires and an alignment and they informed me that the car had 2 bad tie rod ends and bad suspension. Second time they replace my steering column and broke a harness in the process but are unwilling to do anything about it. NEVER AGAIN

I know for a fact that fires were not rotated since I had a flat tire two prior to the service and I knew the location of each tire. I can’t trust this service center any more.

Even though I can understand that the work I needed done was the day before the 4th of July, if I had known that the auto body shop wasn't open on weekends I would have never had my Nissan taken to the dealership. Best advice my mother ever gave me was to take my vehicle to the dealership for maintenance/repairs versus just choosing the cheapest option. Unfortunately I veered away from that advice and chose a reputable mechanic near me thinking the closest dealership was 30 min away. I was pleasantly surprised, if not a little frustrated at myself, to find this location only 10 min from my home. Extremely knowledgeable and accommodating staff. Dan is my service liaison and absolutely AMAZING at his job!! Front desk staff were friendly as well. Joshua is an awesome mechanic and I plan to request him any time my truck needs service. DEFINITELY coming back here for as long as I'm in this area. Glad to find exemplary service here like I was used to at Pacific Nissan in San Diego.

Have used Porter many times for buying cars and for maintenance. Had my Armada there twice to fix a loud squeak with the sway bar system while it was under warranty. The first time they said they replaced the bushing, but it looks like they just threw some grease on them. This lasted a few months. When the problem returned, they said they replaced the sway bar. This worked for some time, and then the problem came back. Problem is I'm now out of warranty, however, the problem still hasn't been fixed right by Porter. Porter quickly blew us off onto Nissan-Warranty, who as you can imagine, gave me the run-around. Porter didn't want to help with facilitating the potential warranty claim regardless if this was a continuous problem from within warranty. They gave us a number that initially went to somebody within Nissan. This eventually evolved into some third-party vendor who Nissan must contract for smaller issues. Follow-up with them was awful, not to mention they try to sell you gift cards and other items when you call--sounded like fraud at first. In the end, they said take the car to Porter, more than likely pay to have a diagnostic charge to lift the car up to examine, and then they'll see if they'll "help". This means I'm getting an unknown diagnostic charge, and will be paying for this continuous problem unless it relatively small, then they may help. What a joke this whole process is--starting with Porter. They did shabby work twice, now I'm stuck with the problem. Good news is with some research, I was able to fix the problem for under $40 and a couple hours. My takeaway....after purchasing 5 straight Nissans, I'm finally switching to Toyota. I needed a final reason, and this was it. Hope a few dollars was worth it. Porter wants to help when they can make money, but blow you off when it's convenient for them. See ya!

I was notified there were clips missing from my vehicle. They described them to me over the phone, and even sent me pictures of them. That was really cool. Sadly it was not on my paperwork, so while I have the pictures I dont know where these are on the vehicle. If it were documented on the paperwork it may serve as better information in the future.

Lyle Price has delivered excellent service year after year for all of my service visits. He is a master of anticipating the customer needs and very knowledgeable about any service issue. He consistently goes the extra mile for ensuring service visits are a smooth experience. I've followed the suggested maintenance schedules and have had essentially no mechanical issues for my vehicles. Keep up the good work!

I visited the service center to carry out an oil change and inform them of issues with the Ambient sensor (the outside temp was reading -22f). The attendant then told me that they’d have to charge me $120 to diagnose such an obvious issue, especially, as I had informed him that the AC didn’t work because the car believed the outside temperature is already cold. He also informed me that the diagnosis fee would be waived if the issue is covered under my bumper to bumper warranty. Also, the deductible on my warranty is $100. They told me that to diagnose this issue will take 2hr plus 1.5hr for oil change. I got there at 10am and left at 2:50pm. When the service paper was given to me, it stated what I had told the attendant concerning the ambient sensor and they now claimed that they ran diagnostics only on a problem that they already knew about and nothing else for $120. I further queried the attendant on the real cost to replace the ambient sensor. He said $107. This made me even more suspicious of these guys. I later called in to the garage to demand a receipt and proof that they actually changed the ambient sensor. They left me on hold for about 10mins and then said that the attendant will call me back. I have not heard from anybody so far. I am totally disappointed with Nissan’s shady ways and have no confidence in their service. I also will be canceling my warranty with the company. At this stage, I’d rather take my chances with a more trust worthy third party mechanic.

Sales department was great. Service department not so much. Was told by sales that the first two services would be free, but for both occasions I had to talk services out of the $250 charge. I also told them that the driver's seat slowly sinks, so I have to pump it up every day or so. They said they couldn't replicate the issue so didn't fix it. It's less than a year old and this should have been repaired under warranty. Very disappointed and won't be coming back
