I called Nucar and spoke with Chris Castner who assured me he could help. Upon arriving at Nucar all the staff were friendly and helpful. Chris and his Manager Karen Collins made me feel comfortable and they went above and beyond my expectations to help me. They new the products well and they made sure they found the truck I was looking for. I was very pleased with their dedication to find exactly what I wanted. I brought my truck in for service and was told it would be done that day. When I got dropped off there by a coworker to pick it up, I was told the part hadn't come in and it wasn't finished. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get a call telling me it wouldn't be done that day. However, despite the poor communication, the staff still there did their best to accommodate me. They got me hooked up with a loaner for the night and they even ventured all the way to Medium Duty, (which is apparently practically in another zip code), to get my house keys off of my key ring. Unfortunately I can't remember all of their names, but they did their absolute best to make it right.

Worst car buying experience of my life. Bought a Brand New Malibu in 2016 and since then has had to be repaired over 18 times including 2 new engines. Now the transmission is out. The car is a complete lemon. Save your self time, money and grief and buy elsewhere!

I purchased a brand new 2016 Malibu in March of 2016. I have had nothing but problems, within a week the screen went black, took it back fixed cool. Received first oil change cool, then a week later had to take it back needed brand new pistons, a week without out my car, no problem received a loaner. Keep in mind this is a brand new car, go back back oil change pistons and a brand new motor. Please tell me how a brand new car needs a brand new motor. Then the car wouldn't go past 20 miles, I just had my newborn February 2018 after her 3 day old appointment ended up at Nu Car, lucky it got fixed that day. Now today 7/17/18 on my way to work at the light my car would not move, engine still on wouldn't move lights flashing on and off, finally 10 minutes later I had to keep pushing the start button the car finally turned on and was able to make to work. While holding up traffic I called Nu Car the girl was very rude, we can't don anything until Friday we are full, you can go to another Chevy dealership. Upset hung up, got to work called to speak to management we can fit you in on Friday. I have to work only one vehicle no family near and just over the 36k bumper to bumper by 4k miles. Spoke with the service manager who keep saying if you can make it we can try to fit it in and it will cost 120.00 to put on the machine, if it's not covered by the engine warranty it can be anything. What is the purpose of a new car if I'm taken it back to get service more than a used car. Meanwhile I would still be out of a car, because you just told me you will try not a garanutee and that I could get a shuttle to work. So at this point frustrated, I should not have to use a shuttle and furthermore all of the issues with my 2 year old car is starting to sound like a Lemon. Please tell me how many new cars off the lot had to get a brand new motor and new pistons twice. I'll wait, at this point I'm over Nu Car, who would of thought first time buying a car I should have gotten the extended warranty. Now I know and at this point over the car don't want it ready to trade it in and not deal with American cars periods. Sorry not sorry for the rant, no one wants to deal with a new car and have so many problems. Disappointed customer

Probably the best new car buying experience I have ever had. Nucar and the staff I worked with is the best example of what buying a new vehicle should be like. In fact, they are an example of what any customer service driven organization should strive to be like...Truly outstanding. I was searching within a 500 mile radius for a vehicle that is difficult to find. Nucar had the exact match in what I was looking for. Buying a vehicle from a distance, without the opportunity to visit the dealership, is not an easy undertaking. Nucar put the deal together quickly, efficiently, honestly, and with straightforward pricing out of the gate so there was no hassle and aggravation that is often associated with haggling. I was able to fly directly into Phil, grab an Uber, and when I arrived at the dealership the vehicle was ready to go and we breezed through the closing paperwork. I had the opportunity to meet the GM, the General Sales Manager and the Chevy Sales Manager in addition to working with Brian Maupin as Sales Associate. Having met the GM, I can see why and how his disposition has trickled down through every level of the company to create a culture driven by great attitudes and great service. I would go out of my way to work with them in the future.

I already left a review but wouldnt mind leaving another. Your customer service is way below par. From the receptionist to the manager. I see someone else felt the same way in regards to that. Also was disappointed in work done and when mentioning it I couldnt help but feel like they were mad at me rather then what anyone is the customer service field would do which is how can we resolve this. Next time rather then keeping quiet and not speaking in front of everyone maybe I will so they can get the proper expectations from the beginning. Who am I kidding, I will NEVER be back or refer you.

From the moment I contacted Nucar, I was treated with respect, kindness, and given the best customer service available. I was in the market for a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, and I started my adventure at Diver Chevrolet. I was told at Diver that my interest rate would be 16%, that I had to settle for less and get the Chevrolet Trax, which was just not the car I wanted to buy, knowing I plan to start a family within the next year. I decided I needed to venture out and try a different dealership. I contacted Nucar, and I got a message from Chris Castner. Chris was patient with my busy schedule, he was honest, and very knowledgeable. Chris asked me to come down on my lunch break and he assured me that he was get me back to work on time.... and he did just that! I arrived at Nucar, he had two vehicles ready for me to look at. The Trax and Equinox. They took my car to get appraised, and I looked at cars with Chris! He could tell I was not happy in the Trax, and he told me I should not buy something I am not happy with! He assured me, he was going to do everything he could with the team at Nucar to get me in the Equinox. Karen was amazing, with getting the paperwork handled, making sure I had all of my ducks in a row for the finance department. The next morning, Chris came in on HIS DAY OFF to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and well taken care of! They got me such a good deal on my equinox that I was able to get a higher model! Niel (in finance) was great! He made my fiancé and I laugh the entire time we were signing papers and he got me a 5% interest rate.. compared to what I was being told at 16%!!!!!!! I was so pleased and well taken care of at Nucar! I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to me! The team at Nucar was nothing short of amazing and I will never go anywhere else EVERA again!

Currently I'm pretty ticked off.i bought the car this past summer.i was given one fab with a key and one without it.i was told by my salesman that they would replace the one without the key and order it for me.it never happened..couple months went by I hadn't mentioned anything and then my one key broke.i brought it to my salesmans attention and their management and their response was the purchase happened to long ago for us to replace it.i don't understand.the purchase was LESS THAN A YEAR AGO.I'm willing to buy the one but I don't believe it is fair that I have to pay for the other when I received it damaged to begin with..once this lease is over I'm switching dealerships and I'm going to refer anyone that asks me about a good place to buy a car to go else where and also let them know my story.

Well I will never go to the service department again, Since they hired a new manager, customer service is horrible, I had an appointment at 8am and my car was only getting an oil change and check brake lights, it took till five hours for this to get completed, along with costing way too much I have a fleet of seven cars all of which I take there, and most were bought there, I was told never to bring my cars there again, NO PROBLEM didn't plan on it, after service personnel lied not once but twice, was found out immediately, then to top it off they change employees like I change my clothes, unprofessional, arrogant, and nasty. I have only bought cars there for more then ten years, and this is what I get. So I will never buy nor have them touch another vehicle of mine. WARNING TO ALL. VERY BAD BUSINESS...

This review is for the service department and especially Service Consultant Felicia Evangelist and the work of the service team. I have not purchased any vehicle from this dealership, but from the service I received, I probably will travel the 75+ miles to do so. A few weeks ago I was traveling from PA to Annapolis to visit relatives. Shortly after my trip began, I received a critical message on the dash of my 2007 Impala. I stopped at a dealer not far from the highway where I was. They were "booked" and couldn't help me. I called Nucar service, explained my delima, and though they were busy offered to assist. I drove about 15 miles, and was greeted with a smile. Felicia knew of my issue and understood how critical my situation was. Within about 3 hours, I was back on the road. The communication through the process was impressive, and the commitment to get me back on the road was awesome. The fact that their service dept is open until 4pm on a Saturday is great. I can't say enough good things about my experience.

I brought my vehicle in because engine light was on - I scanned the code before hand and it showed "P0521 - engine oil pressure switch." I have had this code twice before in the last 3 years and each time the part was replaced. This most recent time, the service department said they didn't see the code and charged me $120.00 for the diagnostics.After I paid, they returned my keys to me and I walked out to my vehicle - the code was still active! I returned inside the service department and was told my the service manager that he trusts their equipment (diagnostic scanner) more then mine - I told him that I would clear the code but if it returns within a month, I would come back and ask for my $120.00 to be refunded. I cleared the code with my scanner and returned to work. On my way home from work, that same day, the engine light came back on. I pulled over and received the same code on my scanner "P-0521" I drove to an autozone to have them scan it also, Autozone received the same code, "P-0521" I asked autozone for a print out and drove straight to NuCar to show the manager. He looked confused and went into the back to talk to someone and after 10 minutes came out and said, "Their (autozone) scanners are junk" I insisted that they look for this code. I had to leave my vehicle there overnight and received a call the following day, after noon, that they found the code and replaced the part. This is the same part that was replaced 2 previous times, the latest being May 2018. I argued that I should be refunded the $120.00 diagnostic fee since this part was covered under my extended warranty in addition to having a 1 year warranty on the part itself. I didn't receive a refund. This is not good business practices and I will not be taking my vehicles to NuCar ever again!

Horrible experience in typical car salesman fashion with all the tropes. Told salesman I had my own financing, but also thought getting some other rates was doing my due diligence.....I thought. We agree to get together the following day to compare. The next day I received a call for the financing department telling me my truck is ready to pick up? I knew immediately something was awry. I went there to find out the salesman pushed the a loan through my bank without my permission or knowledge and I was denied. I was calling my loan officer before I got out of the building. My loan officer summed it up nicely, "that dealership took you from a 15yr Credit Union member with multiple cleared loans to a credit score; It's in corporate's hands and there is nothing that I do now. What did it cost? 2%, $558 addition for the length of the loan, $850 for Gap, A courtesy for Credit Union members receiving a auto loan. In all. it cost me $1400 more and the peace of mind dealing with a lender I trusted. In the end I bought from someone else, I just could not give my business to Nucar after that.

I have been dealing with Nucar since about 2003. Every visit has been great and the service is above and beyond the normal. I attempted to cheat on Nucar and visit Benz of Wilmington. Those guys never acknowledge my presence in the dealership. I went back to Nucar and was greeted right away. The sales guy "Harts" walked right up to me. The other great thing is I was curious about the Chevy Camaro and Hart's owns one himself. He was able to tell me everything about the car and guide me through the options available. Usually very satisfied with service. This time, I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment as the issue was transmission related (stuttering when shifting gears) and there was a backlog. I did not hear back from service on first day (Monday) and late on the second day I called to get a status. Told that it was not ready. Third day, I had to call again to find out that the one transmission mechanic was out sick all week and hoped to return on Thursday. The car was done on Thursday. I was informed that it was a computer problem which was resolved. I was also told that it would take about 200 miles for the computer to learn my driving habits. By the time I got home from the dealership, the transmission was stuttering again. It still stutters but not all the time, so I am waiting out the 200 miles to see if the situation improves. I am not too optimistic as I do not think that the stuttering has anything to do with the computer learning process.

Went in to test drive the Malibu. Sales guy name was Edwin. I told him right from the start my price range an told me that, that would never happen... he didn't tell me a single thing about the car I had to ask every single question... I asked to drive a second one, his response was "its going to drive just like the last one." I'm a possible customer and should be able to drive what ever I want... I ended up going to Sheridan Nissan an getting a new Altima. An they never said once my price range wasn't going to happen. In fact the car was more expensive with more options in the price range I wanted. It was like he didn't want to sell me a car... I did talk to the sales manager (it was a guy cant remember his name.) Was very nice an very apologetic for his sales actions. An was very willing to help me out but I had already had a deal.

if i can give this place zero stars i would my husband and i went in tuesday around 7pm to check out a car with a family friend who is amazing with cars to check under the hood and try to test drive it Ken told us at 7 pm that we weren't able to test drive it but also said that we are able to come in the next day to drive it which was so inconvenient because both the family friend and my husband work. we decided to just go in and play with numbers and look at rates we were there til 10 something just waiting for numbers while we waited their were about 2 people test driving well over the time AFTER we were told we werent allowed to test drive the honda and when we asked Ken why there were others driving he gave us a run around about why we couldnt and proceeded again to tell us that we were able to come back tomorrow to finish up as if he didnt wanna be there to help out which got my husband frustrated where he wanted to speak to the manager. We test drove it and it was perfect we go in and we speak to another sales person around 10:30 pm and he gave me one interest rate but said he can also do better with the interest rate and he will let us know tomorrow what it came to so we can move forward with the sale.....FAST FORWARD to the next day around 11am we havent heard anything so my husband called and questioned the status of everything to FIND OUT THEY SOLD THE CAR TO ANOTHER person which i was upset about because no one called us for the heads up or even tried to call us to help us with another car which made no sense with the credit score i had (amazing) NOTHING when my husband called and they told him they just apoligized and acted as if we never came in and waited for hours for a bank told give us an approval..EVERYTHING about them was just horrible and i will not recommend

My employer brings a large number of vehicles to Nucar for warranty repair and recalls. I would not count on the service department to perform a warranty or recall repair correctly the first time. Scheduled a service appointment to have my headlights fixed. The low beams aren’t working. Dropped it off at 10am. When I picked it up at 2pm it had not been diagnosed or even taken into the shop yet as I was told it would be. I live an hour away. They do not honor appointments. Rescheduled for next Tuesday at 8 am and the associate literally said hopefully we can get it done by the time I have to go to work. Would not give me a loaner car. I work night shift and have no headlights.

Customer Service went down the drain because my car was only 2 weeks old and a tire had to be replaced, due to nail in the side wall, costing $140.00.( really you couldn't handle the cost, you a million dollar company) as our family had just purchased a car, 2 weeks prior to our car being purchased. I do not buy new cars very often, and I can honestly say that my experience at Nucar was the best interaction with a dealership that I have ever had. The sales professionals that worked with me were very friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all not pushy or forceful. Once I decided on the model that I was interested in the dealership worked hard to locate one for me. (The model that I wanted was rare and several sales people and sales managers worked for a week to finally find the model that I was looking for.) Everyone treated me well and were very friendly and helpful. I got the sense that they truly were interested in seeing me get the car that I wanted, not just sell me a model that they had or could easily locate. When it was time to sign the papers and see the business manager I was again pleasantly surprised. The business manager was pleasant, friendly, and did not try to push any additional products on me. He did explain about various warranties and protection packages, but at no time did he try to aggressively sell them to me. I said that I was not interested and that was that. Simple and professional. This was my first new car purchase where I left the dealer smiling and happy, not feeling like I had been taken advantage of or cheated. Thanks again to everyone involved at Nucar Chevy for their hard work and for making the car buying process enjoyable and stress free. I can highly recommend them.

I have been going to Nucar for both technical problems and general maintenance for years. My experience has been pretty good and definitely above average with all the services I have been receiving over the years. However, this time I have observed something very different. - Pricing was not communicated properly and inconsistent throughout the process - I felt like service advisor was focusing on up-selling other services instead of addressing original problems. I can certainly understand managing multiple customers could be very challenging but it was frustrating when the issue was explained over the phone three times. - Repair estimate included additional services that I have declined over the phone My experience this time was not inline with what Nucar used to be. I hope this is just a one off situation but would be hesitant to return.

I took my car to nucar Chevrolet July 26th 2019 to fix my right turning signal. I took it to this dealership because a previous mechanic (pep boys) told me that I would have to take it to a dealership to get the computer restarted. I checked it in my advisor was Anthony Alberto (very nice guy ) I called towards the end of my shift (2:30) anthony assured to me that that was the problem (the computer) and gave me a price of $570 dollars. I agreed to let them work on it. I got to the dealership and I was told by Anthony that there was good news. That they didn’t have to restart the computer that it was a fuse and it would be $240. I said great sat down to wait for my car only for Anthony to come back out to tell me that my car just wouldn’t start. Now remind u it been to 2 shops prior to nucar for this one light that just wouldn’t blink so why was my car not starting ? So the manager Darren came out to tell me that he didn’t know why it wouldn’t start and took me back to my car to show me wires (that I didn’t know what I was looking at because I’m no Mechanic and I’m a female at that. He gave me a rental car on them no cost until they got my car started. I gotta a call from Darren July 27th telling me that my car was started and they repaired wires that was everywhere. Picked up my car for it to be stalling when it starts now. I called Darren to tell him my problem and right of the bat he raises his voice at me telling me he’s not giving me anything for free. This place is very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend anybody to get they’re car worked on at this location. Now I have a car that won’t start and these people will be hearing from my lawyer. Very bad for business !!!

We had come in for some service on our 2016 Traverse and decided to look at the 2019 Traverses. We talked to Tony and he brought one in for us to look at. Needless to say, we loved it as it included all the ‘bells and whistles’ as our other car. The new design gave the interior more leg, foot and seat room. The new engine will help us save money on fuel consumption as it “turns off” when stopped at lights. The new navigation is updated and can now sync with your phone, to use additional map applications. Zero financing made the payments more reasonable and the staff was most helpful...a great buying experience!

I purchased a brand new 2018 Chevy Sonic at the end of March. The sales team was good to work with and gave me a good price on the car. Less than a week after taking delivery of the car, the "Service Airbag Soon" message came on in the car and would not go off. I went back into the dealership and spoke to the sales manager, she simply told me to go to the service area. I brought the car in for repair. Sat in the waiting room for over four hours to only be told it could not be fixed and that a new airbag and harness (airbag wiring) had to be ordered. I little over a week later, the airbag came in but not harness yet. Brought the car in to have the airbag replaced. Was told that if the new airbag fixed the issue, the harness would not be needed. Took the entire day to replace the airbag and of course it did not fix the issue. Still no harness. Waited four or five days and then called and spoke to someone in the parts area to see if the harness had come in. Parts guy said call back in the afternoon so he would have time to look into it. Two hours later, I get a call from the Service area saying the harness had literally been handed to the Tech assigned to work on my car (what a coincidence). I dropped the car off the afternoon of 4/17/18. I explained that I would be on vacation until 4/22/18 and would not need a loaner. Service guy said he would call me and leave a message on Friday 4/20/18 to update me on where things stood. No phone call received on Friday as promised. In addition, when I dropped the car off this time, I discovered that the service guy(s) folded the headliner down on the passenger side to get to the airbag and simply put it back up damaged without saying a word. Told the service rep the headliner would have to be replaced. He agreed. I am told the harness has been replaced and airbag issue fixed. Now waiting for the headliner. I picked up a loaner on 4/23/18 and have yet to hear back on the status of my car. Left a voicemail with Service Rep at a little after 8 this morning. It is now almost 12:30 and no call back. The experience with the service area has been more than disappointing and I am tired of this whole mess. All I can say is I better receive my car back in showroom condition as the car is brand new and just a month since I purchased.

This is the 6th time I've back to the service dept. since I bought my equinox 6 months ago. When I test drove it 2 tires were low. They filled them with air and I bought the car. Both tires started leaking air. Bought it back in first couple days and was told they will only cover 1 because there was a nail In the second tire even though they both had a problem when I test drove it. It took 5 times visits before they could fix my tire correctly. Even though I told them it was my valve stem. Now I have a check engine light on and my car is stalling. I had to wait 2 days for an appointment. I m here to drop it off and they tell me cant have a loner unless my car is here for 48 hours so I've been without a car for 2 days and good knows how long I'll be without one now. This is the second car I've bought here and second time I got screwed. I NEVER POSTED A REVIEW BEFORE BUT DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DONT BUY FROM NUCAR. GO TO DIVER.

I just left this establishment and all I can say I’ll never be back I just got my car on Wednesday so it hasn’t even been a week yet and I’m hearing the breaks but that’s not my issue my issue is that I already talked to my warranty company and they told me that since I just got the car they would cover me getting it fixed and everything all I needed to do was get an hour diagnostic and have the dealership call my warranty and explain to them what they found simple right nope the guy told me it would take a whole entire day for them to do a simple hour diagnostic **(mind you I didn’t just walk in I made an appointment specifically for this issues on my car)*** and had the nerve to tell me they don’t give out loaner vehicles I been to plenty of Chevy dealerships every single one of them offered or gave you a loaner car when getting serviced done. Then the guy has the nerve to try and tell me I was wrong about the info I was telling him about my warranty and when I called my warranty after I left Chevy they told me that the dealership I went to clearly isn’t updated on their policy’s because they cover all their cars on breaks and etc the first 30 days I’m completely turned off from this place Im officially only going to the Chevy in Wilmington better service

We had our oil changed this week just as we do every couple months as recommended. When we picked up the truck my husband was told that we need to schedule to have the brakes changed and rotors resurfaced. My issue is that when the oil was changed a couple months ago brakes were never mentioned. Tires were mentioned, which we replaced immediately, but nothing about brakes. I'm not a mechanic but I do know that if the rotors now need to be resurfaced it would have been obvious at the last oil change that the brakes should be replaced soon. Obviously we do not want to have to replace rotors so I called yesterday to schedule the appointment. I expressed to the lady I spoke with that I was upset and it's not that she was rude but it was obvious I was taking up her time and she couldn't wait to get off the phone with me. She said the service writer who handled our service would call me back. No call. I know it may not seem like a big like a big deal to many but just a call saying "hey, we're sorry" goes a long way with some people. If we can schedule a service elsewhere sooner we will be, along with the new the Traverse we will be purchasing next month which really sucks because I love the one on the showroom floor.

They turned what I thought it would be a nightmare into a very nice experience considering I'm from Cape Cod Massachusetts on my way to Florida.... The free oil change went fine but I did have a courtesy car wash that I was available for, but i wanted the inside cleaned as well so i paid the 34.99 for a full car wash. The inside was dirty and the exterior body looked like it was only wiped down. Hood had fingerprints on it and the interior had dust still on the radio and dirt was still on the door. The tires looked good tho....

I had know I had wanted a colorado for awhile. I thought I wanted a bright blue one. When visiting my son in texas (he works for GM) we went to a dealership as I wanted to be sure I wanted it. I need to be able to carry kayaks but cannot lift them to the roof of a vehicle. Saw the orange. It was striking. When I returned to delaware, I looked up which dealer had the vehicle. Nucar did.
