Adrienne makes it a point to know all the facets of the various products and did a great job demonstrating the vehicle. She had reached out to me via text message when I went through the Consumer Reports Car Buying Service and even though it was her day off when I responded back to her, she immediately answered my text message, I told her what vehicle I was interested in, she asked about my trade in and set up an appointment for the next day. I was in and out in a little over 2 hours and that includes financing! She is a dynamo! We weren't even out of our vehicle before a sales person dashed up to us and started talking. Tried to get us to go inside (probably because he was sweating profusely) even though we plainly stated we were only looking and aren't ready to purchase yet. When a customer says that, back off! Offer them your card and let them know to come find you if they need anything today, or call you with questions they have at a later date. Male salesmen, take a hint... WOMEN ARE NOT STUPID. We can be knowledgeable about vehicles, ya know. Even if we end up deciding on a vehicle like what we went to look at... We won't purchase from here.

My first visit to this dealership after using Carman for years. Tim was prompt, courteous, informative and catered to the customer. Equally, Red the shuttle driver was also quite friendly and courteous. I had work done that the other dealer diagnosed and provided an outrageous fee for. Not to mention I can never get an appointment the same week much less the same day with Carman, even for something simple. Newark Chrysler got me in the same week and repaired my vehicle without it costing a ridiculous price. I must say that I'm using them from now on based on this first visit.

Great and fast service.I have had my car there numerous times for oil changes and recently brought it in for service on my a/c and coolant line. I own a 2014 Dodge Avenger R/T and the service manager and the service advisers have always treated me with respect. Wayne is fantastic as is the rest of the employees in the service department. Not once did I feel like I was being taken for my money and they get the work done fast at a reasonable price. I will be going back later this week to have the rest of the work done and I am confident in their work.

Don't have your vehicle serviced at the Newark service department, you will regret it. I took my truck in for general service (fluid changes) but also let them know of a clanking that I was experiencing and smell of oil burning on the engine. $1400 later I picked up my truck. I drove it for about 20 miles (1 day) and that's when the fun started. I felt a bang and then it sounded like my wheel was going to come off the truck. I took it back to Newark Service department on a Friday night and dropped it off explaining they messed something up. They didn't look at my truck until Monday and explained that they over tightened a bolt and the part they installed broke off. But they also told me I needed new valve cover gaskets and that would cost another $500. I asked why I wasn't told that 2 days but of course no good explanation. When I said to fix what they broke and nothing else, they offered to install the gaskets if I paid for parts...they would cover the labor (another $120 out of my pocket). I picked up my truck this time and drove it for a few days and heard something jangling at the bottom of the truck, so back to the dealer I went for the 3rd time. As you can imagine, I am pretty fired up at this point and while I am speaking to Wade (who needs to go to customer service school) tells me the shuttle is running now but due to the snow it may not run later in the day. So they call me at 1 p.m., tell me they forgot to tighten a bolt but they cannot pick me up to bring me back to the dealer due to the snow. I tell Wade that someone needs to get me because I am now stranded at work. He calls me back 10 mins later and says sorry, no can do and hangs up. Finally, I convince the service manager to get my truck back to me (which was appreciated). I drove my truck for another week after this debacle and now it is accelerating on its own. Two days after I noticed the self-accelerating, the check engine light comes on. So I am back in the shop, but not Newark Jeep service this time and never again!

VERY SLOPPY SERVICE !!! I've been in this shop for minor repairs ,Tim McC. told me everything is done . When I went to take my car back ,big surprise !!! nothing been fixed. If the computer doesn't show what's wrong with the car, the mechanics are lost in air and full of excuses ,they are so good to lie you. I'm still waiting for about two months to be called back regarding some parts and about recall parts as well and...nothing happened ,no email ,no phone calls to update the status, only promises and useless information. Please stay away,you will waste your time and money.

After totaling our Kia, we came in to purchase a Chrysler 200. Although we had an appointment with a salesperson, she had other customers coming in at the same time to take care of followup items. Instead of assisting her, the rest of the "Sales Team" sat behind us while we waited for her to come and go, watching a football game. And although we told our sales person and the sales manager what we were willing to pay, they didn't show us what we wanted and they tried to upsell us - I guess they figured after waiting for "quotes" to be prepared, etc. we would purchase what THEY wanted to sell us. After 5 hours we finally got to test drive the car we wanted and got the paperwork together. Luckily, I noticed a gouge and crease damage on the front bumper before we drove it off the lot. When we went in and told them about it, a manager said "Oh, yes, that car was damaged. We can have it fixed for you." They KNEW it was damaged but... just stared out the window at us, waiting for us to get it off their lot. Instead of tearing up the paperwork for the way we were treated and the dishonesty in not pointing out the damage when we first looked at the car, we agreed to having it fixed. Two weeks later, we were able to get our car and drive it. I won't go into the mess we had to NEGOTIATE for a rental for that time... So, 60 days later, our temp tags are expiring and we had to call them to find out "Where are our tags? Our temp expires tomorrow." Seems their title/tag person neglected to contact us about them. I guess we should be thankful the paperwork was even completed and they were actually ready. NEVER AGAIN. We have purchased a dozen cars over the past 25 years and we have NEVER been treated so badly or make such a BAD decision in supporting a business with our purchase. I could never recommend this dealership to anyone, for any reason.

He basically told me to look at the number and walked away. I had to figure out why is his number was different from what I built online. No where in our conversation did I ask for added pieces, either. The salesman left and never came back. I ended up leaving. Stay away from this place.

(Service Department Review) After having an extremely trifling experience with a service rep who had no idea that he functioned as a representation of a company at the Jeep dealer in New Castle along RT.40, I came to this Newark dealership. I have not once received sub-par service, reps were fully aware of any problems that arose with the vehicle. I received follow-up calls with updates for service appointments. Representative who took payments had a pleasant attitude, had at minimum 5 payments processed since I purchased vehicle in August and I saw no lack of ability. I was never for Jeeps, especially after the New Castle experience. They are now added to the line-up.

Horrible service department, check a few places before giving them work, flat tire was changed the price they charged me was 1.5 times other places. I had air leaking after two months I asked about road hazard they said I didn’t have it. I went to another dealer, they could not believed these guys charged the amount that they did. DONT do any work here without getting a second opinion. I have a new tired that Chrysler supports has road hazard warranty for two years to tal price 50 dollars less.

Went looking for a new vehicle. Salesman came out and answered some questions I had. He was not pushy like most are ie: trying to make a sale regardless.... So for the sales department... kudos.. As for the service department I haven't had to deal them with BUT I will say this... ANY dealership service dept. will be way overpriced and parts will be priced twice as bad. People think just cause the dealer is servicing the vehicle you will get A++ service and experience. Unless your vehicle is under warranty would/should be the only reason to let the dealership do the work. Like another comment about valve cover gaskets @120$ the same can be purchased at Auto*one or another for 20-30$ avg. There are some parts that are only available at the dealership and your forced to get from them ... People shouldn't be so foolish and should shop around. There are plenty of reputable mechanics out there who can do the same for half the price. The service dept does not mean better quality of parts or technicians. This is not just directed for here but for ANY dealership service dept. Take the time to educate yourself and quit being sheeple....my people.

I asked there parts department aboutpurchasing a part for my vehicle , then spoke with the service department ( was told he was the manager ) to get a quite for installing said part .. the estimate seemed fair so about a week later I called to set a time to have the part installed ( gave the quote I was given ) the girl seemed a little surprised at the quote and then I was put on hold for over 10 minutes then was asked if they could call me back... a hour plus later I received a call from them stating they did not have the part , it was on back order and to try back in 3-4 weeks ? really ? The next day I called the parts department and ask for the part and guess what THEY HAD IT IN STOCK !!!! ANYONE THINKING ABOUT USEING THEM FOR SERVICE SHOULD RUN AWAY AS FAST AS THEY CAN....

Lonnie Wood sold me my Challenger T/A and I couldn't be happier, made it quick and easy and got me to the payments I wanted to be at. Had a couple issues with the tags but he helped me even after the sale was completed. Friendly staff, Chris helped me when I first came in to look at the car and Neiman was friendly and struck up a chat with me in his downtime about my new purchase. Misty' s customer service sucks she is quick to pass the buck and not accept accountability. Did i mention I've have my used certified vehicle for less than 30 days and haven't even drive 1000 miles. I've filed a corporate complaint and reported to BBB. They only got a 1 because 0 was not an option

What can I say...it's a dealership. Parts are very expensive. Counter people vary greatly in their knowledge. Make sure you bring old parts with you or a picture. Ordered 2 parts that were suppose to go together and they did not. Glad I brought the old ones with me.

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2013 with after market backup camera that does not work anymore after taking it to this dealership for maintenance. Let me explain what happened. I have spent under 2000 at this dealership this year for maintenance on my vehicle and consider myself to be a quality customer. Recently I had my Jeep towed in with a bad alternator only to wait 8 business days to get it fixed and back. I asked the dealership for a loaner vehicle which they declined to do and also for any discounts for rentals because they couldn’t get the part for so long. They did not offer this either. I understand that sometimes parts take a while to come in but if i was not blessed with great friends that chauffeured me to work I could have lost my job for not being able to drive to work during that week and a half. This experience was dissappointing but I just shrugged it off and figured that many other dealers would have been just like this. Fast forward a week later I had new keys programmed and a switch replaced for my rear glass release. When I picked up my vehicle the back up camera no longer worked I called them about it and they said I could bring it in the following week to get checked out. I brought it back and they said that nothing they did caused my backup camera to stop working. I find this highly coincidental and will never do business with this dealership again. To be clear I can not prove that they caused my back up camera to stop working. But it is very coincidental and I just wanted to make others aware so they can decide for themselves if they want to use this dealership.

Brought my dodge caliber because it was making a rumbling noise. It is still under Manufacturers warranty. Quoted me over 1000 dollars. Forgot it was on warranty, and I had to bring it to their attention. After a repair of breaks and an arm of some sort, they still neded breaks which were way overpriced. Eve w/ the warranty, I was charged 450. The tires would have been another 700 dollars. I took it out of here after shelling out 450, w/o the tires. It still sounded exactly the same. ot the tires replaced at pep Boys for less, and that did the trick. So I was charged 450 for nothing, and now I have had repeated break problems I never had before, and they refuse to make good on it. I even too it to their competitor who fixed their mistake, and they told me their competitor doesn't know what they are talking about. (Chrysler on Rt 13) I still am having break noises. Mind you it turned out I just needed new tires. I don't trust them and they wont back their own work. Beware!!!

I can't believe that it was impossible to get an oil change from express service. This is the second time I have been turned away at the express service. I have called to schedule an appointment and they said it’s not necessary. Unfortunately this will be the last Chrysler product I actually own. I have wasted 8 hours attempting to get my seat repaired. I made 8 trips to the dealer only to have it break again within 5k miles. My car is still under warranty and this should be covered. I had been called about the seat being in twice only to arrive and waste more time. They informed me that the part was not in fact in the dealer and I would have to return after they found it. I have been contemplating writing Chrysler a letter but I guess this is the final straw to force my hand. I just expect that when you spend over 50k on a vehicle that it actually doesn’t fall apart in less than 30k miles but if it does they have competent mechanics that can repair it.

Not sure what is going on with their service department but it has been going steadily downhill for the last few years. I wont go into all the specifics like a tire coming off my car while driving at 40 mph, after they performed service on it, but i am going somewhere else for service for now on. My families safety may not be important to them but it is to me. For safety reasons alone I no longer trust them and I will never go back to them. The final nail in the coffin though was when one of the service advisers (Wade Orth) was making fun of the recurring problem I was having with my Jeep. Yeah really funny Wade making fun of customer coming to you for 15 years.

I bought my 2014 Chrysler 200 about a year and a half ago. I LOVE THIS CAR. I had test drove this brand a year before with no pressure to buy. When I was ready to buy it I had Fast friendly service. I was asked permission to run additional hard credit checks to be sure they could find me the best rate while buying it. They found me an extra rebate but sat and calculated that the increase in finance % would end up costing me few dollars more in the long run. (I appreciate the attention to that detail) Gary you are the best!

We recently did 2 transactions with Lonnie Wood at this dealership and cannot say enough about the experience from beginning to end. The first was a trade in that my daughter was making on upgrading from a Patriot to a Cherokee but with marginal credit rating following a period of unemployment. Lonnie and his colleague, Chris Smith went to work for her and got a rate that was much lower than the dealer we bought the Patriot from originally and enabled her to get the car that night. The second was the purchase of a 2015 Cherokee for my wife which ended up with a great price, lower than several other quotes along with a careful review of what had changed in options and packages from 2014 to 2015 (which no other dealer had even mentioned to us). What really impressed my entire family that night was how Lonnie and Chris were working for us, not just trying to make 2 deals quickly. In fact, at one point after they had found my daughter a good interest rate, they told us if we could wait a little while there was one quote not yet in that might be lower...we waited and it was. They reduced her payments on the new car by almost $70/month. We are directing all our friends and family to them from now on...and we live in PA

RJ was the salesperson for my 2017 RAM. He was helpful as much (as a sales person can be when you already picked the truck you wanted online)when I got there and all the way up until he got our final bit of the down payment then became a ghost. First issue was the brakes. About a week or two into owning my truck the breaks start squeaking. I told RJ about it and he told me the three month warranty doesn’t cover breaks. So, the certified truck I just bought needed new break pads within weeks of the purchase and RJ didn’t seem to care a bit. I didn’t expect to be putting money into a truck I just drove off the lot. Also, I had to track them down for my perm tag. I texted RJ about it and he said they would call me when the tags were ready and I told him they were already expired and I need a tag. He didn’t respond. I texted him the next day and he told me he was off and to call the dealership. The contrast of his attitude before and after he got our money was sadly noticeable. This seems to be one of those type of lots, smile until you sign then put you in the back burner. Wish I spent my money elsewhere. Alice was a great help in getting my tags. They did not have my perm but at least she was able to get a new temp tag printed for me that was not expired. Still waiting for my perm tag...

NEWARK RAM SERVICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO START TO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. I bought 2019 ram 1500 limited. It is an expensive truck. I have no problem the way truck drives, or it is comfort level. However, less than one year in this truck, I have ended up in the service 6 or 7 times. The reason behind the service is 50% of the truck and 50% of Newark RAM service department. I had a blind detector stop functioning for less than a year. Side mirrors stop functioning for less than a year. RAM recall for mechanic issues. Break lights stop functioning Most of my service visits are needed for the second visit. Service department either does not have a part of completing the work or they simply can't get it right in the first visit. But most irritating service was the brake light service. It took three weeks to fix a simple break light. I had to drive three weeks without break light. It is dangerous for me and other drivers but the service department didn't care. If I go to pep boys, it would have been taking care of in two hours, but I was afraid to damage the truck warranty. They made mistakes on the side mirrors, but I won't detail on that because it is upsetting. background of the brake lights. I called them about brake lights. They schedule for six days later. I went in dropped off the truck. Called me back the same day to pick up. They said, they changed the light bulb but missing a part to make lights work. They said they have no part and ordered and they will call me back. Nine days later, I called them in the morning, no answer, I left a voice message. 4:53 pm I received a call saying part came. Schedule me for six days ahead from that day. Sales guys are good people and helpful, but the service department needs to work on their customer satisfaction. Every time I need to drop off my truck for service I need to arrange another car to drop me off and pick me up from Newark Ram.

The people were nice here and very helpful. They listened to me and tried their best to accommodate my needs. However, the level of knowledge on the vehicles they have is a little lacking. I purchased a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and wanted to get a Limited model without a hybrid engine. However, I was told repeatedly that limited models were only hybrids even though the manuals and website told me different. Their level of knowledge on what they had on site was also lacking. They were never sure if they had what I wanted until they went out and looked. Also, the purchasing process was very slow. It took me over an hour and a half to do the process when I was paying cash. Finally, while they gave me a free tank of gas when I got the vehicle, when I was filling the tank, it overflowed and when I questioned the guy about it, he seemed unconcerned and didn't offer any explanation on it. I am uncertain if I will buy from them again.

My experience at Newark Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was definitely better than I imagined. Mr. Robert Wolfe helped us out from the start, but wasn’t pushy or forceful when it came to making a decision. With a tight budget and very specific wants in a vehicle, it took some time to find one that fit all of my wants and needs. Mr. Wolfe helped me out by constantly keeping me updating with how the search was going on his end and didn’t let me feel defeated when I thought purchasing a new vehicle wasn’t going to be achieveable. In the end, with the great help of Mr. Wolfe and the other employees at Newark CDJR, we were able to find a Jeep that fit all of my wants and needs all within my price range. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. The consumer service that I received was spectacular (they even welcomed my puppy to sit in the lobby while we talked). It is not a stripped down version, but it also does not have ALL the bells and whistles. Oh well. This sucker can haul a$$. Anyhow, my one complaint is that when I left the lot with my new car, the dealership let me leave practically on EMPTY. Pathetic.

I found a Certified Pre-owned Town and Country on the lot that was perfect for my family except I told the salesman I wanted Leather seats, and Bill said "I know a guy that does leather upholstery."
