I bought strut and shock assembly for the front end of my car and picked them up the next day. After pulling my car apart I realized that they gave me 2 exact same parts and I needed one for each side of my car. I had to figure out how to get back up there just to find out they would have to order me a new part and it wasn't even there. I returned my item and went to oreilleys down the street and saved 46$. Napa is expensive

Parts are basically the same as other part stores, but price is usually higher. All they know is basic common parts. I have found no experts or anyone that really knows their stuff. Sad when you get told "I don't know" everytime I go in for what I consider common issues.

Battery died on me and it was almost 5. An employee, I believe named Robert, offered to help me change my battery even though it wasn't a standard service. I am not happy about the sudden expense but he gave me a good deal and made an extra effort. Made a terrible situation bearable.

I went in there because I had a coupon and I bought the stuff that was on the coupon and they forgot to deduct the coupon --- I never thought to check until after I got home!!! I got cheated out of $4.00???

Don't know about anyone else's experiences, but I've been in this area for over 12 years and wish at least one part store could get someone that knows what they are doing. Most of the time I go to NAPA, I leave with nothing simply because I can't stand idiots. How could I know the parts and the locations of the parts better then anyone that works there? I usually get irritated that the employee only knows how to push a button on the computer and if they can't find a part on the computer they say they don't have it. But 99% of the time I can tell them exactly where it is. Then they act like, oh, maybe we do have it or they say they were confused about what I was wanting. And definetely don't ask any of them to get you something that is custom application. If they cant put a vehicle in the computer and get a part that the computer says fits it, they are totally lost. Just tired of companies hiring people that don't know what they are doing. Ex: I go in and say I need a 50 amp solenoid. I get asked what vehicle its for. I say its for a led light bar and it pulls 42 amps which is 500 watts. They ask again what vehicle its for? They don't have a clue what's going on. Then I ask if they have a continuous duty solenoid. They act like they don't know what that is and then I get told they don't have one. 2nd ex: I go in for a starter and they ask what vehicle. I say F150 fx4 with a 5.4L. Then they say what make, Chevy, dodge, Ford? I'll turn and walk out right then. 3rd ex: I asked for exhaust collector bolts for a 92 Yukon. They acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I get asked where is it located at on the vehicle? They spend 5-10 min trying to find it on the computer. Then they said we don't have that and to try O'Reillys. I turned and went down the isle and grabbed the bolts off the shelf and said just sell me these. Then I told them they really needed to find another job because they were costing the company money and turning customers away for no reason other then you don't know what your doing. The bolts were on the self and clearly states gm exhaust bolt kit. If the salesmen did what they were suppose to do and knew what they were doing they would make a sale. A person not knowledgeable coming into the store would have left.

This NAPA can't seem to get things right. Watch your receipt carefully. The prices on the receipt don't always match the advertised price or they might overcharge you. The hours also do not seem consistent.

Absolute LIARS. I needed a Mass Air Flow sensor for my '01 Sentra. I have read a lot about the MAF's and for this particular year model it is really hit and miss. Therefore, I specifically asked them before purchasing, "CAN THIS ITEM BE RETURNED IF IT DOESN'T WORK?" I was assured several times that if it didn't, then we could return it. Well, low and behold, after it was installed and the computer was reset, the car ran worse than it did with the original MAF. My mpg tanked and the car had barely any horsepower. So, I tried to take it back and suddenly these people sang an entirely different tune. Not only would they not take it back, but they also insisted the only way they would guarantee the part is if I took it to Nissan and had THEM install it. Now seriously, why would you go to a parts store to get parts if you have to take it to the dealer to have it put in???? Kind of defeats the point, doesn't it??? I used to like NAPA, but they burned me for over $200 this go 'round. I will never shop with them again. They just lie to you to get your money. Once they have your money, customer service is forgotten about. PATHETIC!!! I would have given them no stars if it were possible.
