Their Jeep service department has left a lot to be desired. I contacted them for an open safety recall on my vehicle in June of 2018. They performed the inspection and informed me they had completed their duty. I told them the recall stated they were supposed to install a part and they denied that saying "uhhh I'm not sure where you're getting that idea." I pulled the official FCA recall up on my phone to show them and after about thirty minutes of waiting they finally learned to read and told me they would order the parts necessary. It's an older vehicle, I'm not surprised to hear they don't keep the parts on hand, but I was surprised when I was told "it could take four days, it could take four weeks, we'll call you." After two months passed with no call I followed up and was informed they still hadn't received the parts as they were backordered. Had this been true, I would have understood something like this to be out of their hands (hint hint, I was lied to). Two more months passed and I followed up again, but this time they couldn't find my info in their system. Turns out they didn't even have my phone number saved to my account... Could this be why they didn't call? No. "Still on back order." At this point, seven months have passed and considering how they've treated me so far I'm feeling suspicious and I decide to contact other dealers. I reached out to three different dealers in the area, two of which had the parts on hand and another that was able to order it and have it ready to install TWO DAYS AFTER MY INITIAL CALL. I scheduled my appointment for just three days after initial contact (since they ordered the part for me I followed through with them). I was treated very nicely, even shuttled to breakfast while the work was performed. It was a wonderful change of pace from the joke they call customer service in Millsboro: "you should get a ride, this could take hours" or the aforementioned resistance to the idea of a part being installed. When I told this other dealer about my experience and asked about the part being backordered she said "no, they had other options they didn't use and it sounds like they just didn't want to do it." I reached out to CDJR, giving them the benefit of the doubt and seeking an explanation. This time, the parts guy said he could see the parts in stock at other dealers and doesn't know why a part wasn't transferred or why I wasn't suggested to contact another dealer. He transferred me to the service manager where I left a message but I never heard back i.e. I was simply ignored. So, Millsboro CDJR apparently just didn't want to perform a safety recall and put me off and lied to me for over seven months while another local Jeep dealer took care of me in just a few days. I'm normally a DIY guy but after the great service I received at this other dealer I've started taking my Jeep there for service. I'm also going to be purchasing a 2019 JLU in the next few months and you better believe Millsboro CDJR will NOT be receiving my business. TL;DR: Millsboro CDJR didn't want to perform an official FCA safety recall and lied to me for seven months until I went to another dealer that helped in a few days. Now CDJR is ignoring me and this other dealer gets my business.

I am very disappointed with the way Mr Connell lied to me and kept me uninformed he told me the reason it was taking so long to get me financed was due to my poor credit rating which he said was around 660 lie I have received the request from the loan companies my score well over 700, he mentioned very briefly when he had me signing papers something about as is DE law clearly states the blue form that says AS IS must be posted clearly on the window of the Vehicle in clear view and I must be given a signed copy signed by me I did not.High pressure liar is all he is. When I came back when I saw the tires are dry rotted he started to shake my hand until I told him I had a problem he told me to go over there to the Service Manager and walked away no class. The Tires are dry rotted you can ask Rusty I had him look at them He said they should be ok but He could not guarantee it. Also when I got home with the Vehicle there was no cap on the Master Cylinder I tried to call him could not get him I came there and was told by the tall salesman he would take care of it he did not I went back in two days no cap then someone else said they would take care of it two days later no cap but the parts man had heard the conversation and said he would take care of it and he did two days later he called me to come get it car

Bought a Jeep at the sister Preston dealership at RTown Preston. Frank at Rtown is a good man, and tries his best to do right by his customers. I would also like to give kudos to Rusty here at Millsboro. I had an issue with my clutch; it completely failed while at a light on 113 Northbound. I had to call the police to safely get to the side of the road. Upon arrival at Millsboro CDJ, I was initially taken aback by my impression of the demeanor of one of the service reps, whom was a bit rude and apathetic. Fortunately, Rusty quickly changed my worries about getting screwed. I live here locally in Millville, and need a reliable dealership that I plan on establishing long term maintenance. Rusty and his boys did not disappoint! I needed a new slave cylinder for my '16 Willys Wrangler Unlimited. Rusty is the man, and is old school... The RIGHT school. I will keep going, unless I am given a reason not to. And for all you googlers out there- I don't know these people from a hole in the wall... But I GUARENTEE you will get an honest review from me!

It was by far my most positive experience at a car dealership ever. TJ was our salesperson although he is brand new to Millsboro Auto he made sure everyone of our questions were answered. He was very attentive and generally all around a really nice guy. Marcus although a tough negotiator he also is extremely professional. Renee the person that does the paperwork at the end also was very helpful and knowledgeable. Other people who weren't directly involved in the sale still came over and were willing to answer or help with any questions or concerns we had . Lucas Garcia all we can say is wow what a smart and extremely kind person. I think we could have stayed there all night and he would have answered any questions we wanted. Whoever reads this survey I hope it gets back to management you folks are extremely lucky to have these truly professional people working at your dealership. It takes years to build a team like you have , I know. We have had no experience with the service team but if they are half as professional as your sales team there's no reason we would ever go anywhere else to buy a vehicle.
